This device is intended to charge our specic hearing

inruments with built-in power cells (lithium-ion

rechargeable batteries). Your Hearing Care Professional will

advise you on the compatible models.

The charger is only intended for indoor use. Observe

and follow the operating conditions in section

"Operating, transport, and orage conditions".

The charger is not intended as a means of orage for

transportation of hearing inruments.

Charger data

Under the removable silicone lining in the lid of

the charger is a label with symbols, serial number,

CE mark and legal manufacturer of the charger. Lift

the lining from the lid close to the hinge area with your

ngernail and pull it o carefully. To reinsert, press

around the edges.

XConnect your USB power cable to the provided power

adapter.

How you can use the charger

Charging via electrical outlet

When the charger is plugged in, it

charges the hearing inruments (if

they are placed in the charger) and it

charges the integrated battery at the

same time.

As long as the charger is being charged

by an external power source, charger LED shows the

charging atus of the integrated battery and the LEDs for

the hearing inruments show the atus of the hearing

inruments.

Mobile charging

When you are mobile with no electrical

outlet available, you can ill charge your

hearing inruments. Energy is fed from

the charger's integrated battery into your

hearing inruments.The charger mu be

turned on to do so.

The charging atus of charger and hearing inruments is

shown by pushing the button or opening the lid.

Safekeeping

When charging of hearing inruments

is completed, safely ore your hearing

inruments inside the charger with lid

closed.

In case you want to ore the hearing

inruments for a longer time, you can turn

o the charger. The charger can only be turned o when

there is no power source connected into the charger.

Charging

NOTICE

Please make sure that the power adapter is easily

accessible to remove it from power supply if

necessary.

● Connect the charger to the power supply.

● Charging of the internal battery now arts. This is

indicated by the pulsing green LED light of the charger.

● When hearing inruments are inserted, they art

charging as well. This is indicated by the pulsing green

LED light of the hearing inruments LED.

● The charging atus is shown permanently.

Turning the charger on or o

When the charger is connected to an electrical outlet, it is

automatically turned on and cannot be turned o.

During mobile charging, press and hold the button for

5 seconds to turn the charger on or o.

● When the charger turns on, the atus of the hearing

inruments and the atus of the charger's internal

battery are displayed for 7 seconds.

● When the charger turns o, the front LED lights up green

and fades out over a period of approximately 7 seconds.

Shut down is complete after approximately 7 seconds.

The charger LED indicates the

charging atus of the charger and its

internal battery.

While the internal battery is being

charged, the charging atus is

Checking the battery capacity of your charger

To check whether the charger's internal battery has enough

capacity to fully charge your hearing inruments when you

are mobile:

XDisconnect the charger from the electrical outlet.

XBrieﬂy press the

push button.

XThe charger LED

indicates the atus of

the charger's internal

battery for 7 seconds.

LED when you are mobile

Solid green

The internal battery has enough capacity to fully charge

a pair of hearing inruments.

Solid orange

The internal battery does not have enough capacity to

fully charge a pair of hearing inruments.

Blinking orange

The internal charger battery is empty. Charging of

hearing inruments is not possible.

If the atus LED does not light up when you press the

button, check the following:

● The charger is o. Press and hold the button for

5 seconds to turn on the charger.

● The charger's internal battery is too low to display the

atus. Connect the charger to an electrical outlet, wait

several minutes and try again.

If the atus LEDs do not light up when you insert the

hearing inruments, check the following:

● The hearing inruments are not correctly placed.

Push them slightly into their charging slots or close the

charger's lid.

● The charger is turned o. Press and hold the button for

5 seconds to turn on the charger or connect the charger

to an electrical outlet.

● The charger's internal battery is too low for mobile

charging. Connect the charger to an electrical outlet.

Charging atus of hearing inruments

The two LEDs next to the hearing

inruments indicate the charging

atus of the hearing inruments.

Note that the atus is only displayed

immediately after putting the hearing

inruments in the charger, when

you brieﬂy press the button or when you open the lid.

When the charger is o, no atus is displayed at all.

Charging tips

You may have some queions on how to be charge your

hearing inruments. Read the queions and answers

below. If you have more queions, your Hearing Care

Professional will help you.

How often do I need to charge the hearing

inruments?

We recommend charging the hearing inruments daily,

even if the power cell is not empty. Charge them overnight

so you can be sure to art your day with fully-charged

hearing inruments.

"How long does charging take?

A full charging cycle takes approximately 4 hours (+/- 10

mins).

After 30 minutes, it is possible to use your hearing

inruments for up to 6 hours.

Charging times may vary due to the use of the hearing

inruments and the age of the power cell.

Can I leave the hearing inruments in the charger?

Even when fully charged, you can leave the hearing

inruments in the charger with the lid closed. They

automatically op charging when they are fully charged.

"What happens if I forgot to charge?

Your hearing inruments will automatically switch-o when

the power cell is empty. Charge the hearing inruments as

soon as possible.

Hearing inruments which have not been charged for over

6 months may be damaged due to an unrecoverable deep-

discharge of the power cell. Deep‑discharged power cells

cannot be charged anymore and have to be replaced.

"What if I intend not to use the hearing inruments

for several days or longer?

● Short-term orage (up to several days): Turn o your

hearing inruments via the push button or place them in

the powered charger with the lid closed.

The charger mu be connected to the power supply.

If the charger is not connected to power supply and

you place your hearing inruments in the charger, the

hearing inruments are not turned o.

Note that when you turn o the hearing inruments

via a remote control or smartphone app, the hearing

inruments are not turned o completely. They are in

andby-mode and ill draw some power.

● Long-term orage (weeks, months, ...): Fir, fully

charge your hearing inruments. Turn them o via the

push button before oring them. We recommend to use

drying products while oring the hearing inruments.

At 6 month intervals you will have to charge the hearing

inruments to avoid an unrecoverable deep-discharge

of the power cell. Deep‑discharged power cells cannot

be charged anymore and they have to be replaced. We

recommend recharging more frequently than 6 months

intervals.

user guide.

Ask your Hearing Care Professional for recommended

drying products.

What should I pay attention to when charging?

The hearing inruments and charger mu be clean

and dry. Observe the operation conditions in section

"Operating, transport, and orage conditions". Avoid

charging at high ambient temperatures, as this can shorten

the life span and capacity of the power cell.

If you use the charger in a very warm environment, note

that it will op charging and indicate error if the charger's

temperature exceeds 45°C (113°F). Charging resumes

automatically after the device has cooled down. Do not

touch the hearing inruments, they may be hot.

XIf cleaning is required, disconnect the charger from

the power supply.

XClean the charger with a soft, dry tissue.

XNever use running water or immerse the charger in

After use and before placing in the charger, wipe the

charging pins on the hearing aids with a soft, dry tissue to

remove grease or moiure.

Troubleshooting

Problem and possible solutions

LED light is o:

● Check if the power supply is connected correctly.

LED light is blinking red 3 times: An error in the charger has

occurred.

● Take the hearing inruments out of the charger and

disconnect the charger from the power supply.

● Reconnect the charger to the power supply and re‑insert

the hearing inruments in the charging slots.

● Charger has reached the temperature limit and needs to

cool down. Charging is resumed when the temperature

decreases below 45°C (113°F).

If the LEDs are ill blinking red:

● Take the hearing inruments out of the charger and

disconnect the charger from the power supply.

● Contact your Hearing Care Professional for support.

Consult your Hearing Care Professional if you encounter

further problems.

Uso del cargador

Carga usando un enchufe de pared

Cuando el cargador eá enchufado,

carga los audífonos (si eán colocados

en el cargador) y la pila interna al

mismo tiempo.

Cuando el cargador se eá cargando

Carga móvil

Los audífonos se pueden cargar aun

cuando no se disponga de un enchufe de

pared. La energía pasa de la pila integrada

del cargador a los audífonos, para lo cual el

cargador debe ear conectado.

El eado de carga del cargador y de los

audífonos se muera al pulsar el botón o abrir la tapa.

Mantenimiento

Cuando se complete la carga de los

audífonos, guárdelos con cuidado dentro del

cargador con la tapa cerrada.

En caso de que desee guardar los

audífonos durante más tiempo, puede

apagar el cargador. El cargador solo se

puede apagar si no tiene ninguna fuente de alimentación

conectada.

Carga

AVISO

Asegúrese de que se pueda acceder fácilmente al

adaptador de alimentación para poder retirarlo de la

fuente de alimentación, si es necesario.

● Conecte el cargador a la fuente de alimentación.

se conecta automáticamente y no se puede desconectar.

Comprobación de la capacidad de la pila del cargador

Para comprobar si la pila interna del cargador tiene

capacidad suciente para cargar los audífonos

completamente en modo móvil:

XDesconecte el cargador del enchufe de pared.

XPulse brevemente el

pulsador.

Si el LED de eado no se enciende al pulsar el botón,

compruebe lo siguiente:

● El cargador eá desconectado. Mantenga pulsado el

botón durante 5 segundos para conectar el cargador.

● La pila interna del cargador no tiene carga suciente para

morar el eado. Conecte el cargador a un enchufe de

pared, espere unos minutos y vuelva a intentarlo.

Si los LED de eado no se encienden al insertar los

audífonos, compruebe lo siguiente:

● Los audífonos no eán bien colocados. Empújelos

ligeramente dentro de las ranuras de carga o cierre la

tapa del cargador.

● El cargador eá apagado. Mantenga pulsado el botón

durante 5 segundos para encender el cargador o conecte

el cargador a un enchufe de pared.

● La pila interna del cargador no tiene carga suciente

Consejos para la carga

Es posible que tenga algunas preguntas acerca de la

mejor manera de cargar los audífonos. Lea las preguntas

y respueas que se proporcionan a continuación. Si

¿Con qué frecuencia debo cargar los audífonos?

Se recomienda cargar los audífonos a diario, incluso

si la batería no eá agotada. Cárguelos por la noche

para asegurarse de comenzar el día con los audífonos

completamente cargados.

"¿Cuánto tardan en cargarse?

Un ciclo de carga completo dura aproximadamente 4 horas

(+/- 10 min).

Después de 30 minutos, los audífonos se pueden utilizar

durante un máximo de seis horas.

Los tiempos de carga pueden variar en función del nivel de

uso de los audífonos y de la antigüedad de la batería.

¿Puedo dejar los audífonos en el cargador?

Incluso una vez cargados completamente, puede dejar

los audífonos en el cargador con la tapa cerrada. Cuando

eán completamente cargados, la carga se detiene

automáticamente.

"¿Qué ocurre si olvidé cargarlos?

Los audífonos se apagarán automáticamente cuando la

batería eé agotada. Cargue los audífonos lo antes posible.

Los audífonos que no se han cargado en más de 6 meses

pueden ear dañados debido a una descarga completa

no recuperable de la batería. Las baterías que se han

descargado completamente no pueden volver a cargarse y

deben suituirse.

"¿Y si no voy a usar los audífonos durante varios

días o más?

● Almacenamiento a corto plazo (varios días): Apague los

audífonos con el pulsador o colóquelos en el cargador

con tensión y con la tapa cerrada.

El cargador debe ear conectado a la fuente de

alimentación. Si el cargador no eá conectado a la

fuente de alimentación y coloca los audífonos en el

cargador, eos no se apagarán.

Tenga en cuenta que si apaga los audífonos con

un control remoto o por medio de la aplicación

para smartphones, los audífonos no se apagarán

completamente. Entrarán en modo de espera y seguirán

consumiendo algo de energía.

● Almacenamiento a largo plazo (semanas, meses, etc.):

En primer lugar, cargue completamente los audífonos.

Apáguelos con el pulsador antes de guardarlos. Se

recomienda el uso de productos de secado durante el

almacenamiento de los audífonos.

Deberá cargar los audífonos cada 6 meses a n de

evitar una descarga completa irrecuperable de la batería.

Las baterías que se han descargado completamente

no pueden volver a cargarse y deben suituirse. Se

recomienda realizar la recarga más frecuentemente que

a intervalos de 6 meses.

Respete las condiciones de almacenamiento indicadas

en el manual del operador de los audífonos.

Pregunte a su especialia en audición sobre los productos

de secado recomendados.

"¿Qué debo tener en cuenta a la hora de cargar?

Los audífonos y el cargador deben ear limpios y secos.

Respete las condiciones de funcionamiento de la sección

"Condiciones de funcionamiento, transporte y almacenamiento".

Evite realizar la carga a temperaturas ambiente elevadas, ya

que se podría reducir la vida útil y la capacidad de la batería.

Si utiliza el cargador en un entorno muy caluroso, tenga en

cuenta que, si la temperatura del cargador supera los 45 °C

(113°F), la carga se detendrá e indicará que se ha producido

un error. La carga se reanuda automáticamente una vez que

se enfría el dispositivo. No toque los audífonos ya que podrían

ear calientes.

limpie las espigas de carga de los audífonos con un paño

suave y seco para eliminar la grasa y la humedad.

No se enciende la luz LED:

● Compruebe que la fuente de alimentación eé

conectada correctamente.

La luz LED parpadea en rojo tres veces. Se ha producido

un error en el cargador.

● Extraiga los audífonos del cargador y desconéctelo de la

fuente de alimentación.

● Conecte de nuevo el cargador a la fuente de

alimentación y vuelva a insertar los audífonos en las

ranuras de carga.

● El cargador ha alcanzado el límite de temperatura y

precisa enfriarse. La carga se reanudará cuando la

temperatura disminuya y eé por debajo de 45 ºC

(113°F).

Si las luces LED siguen parpadeando en rojo:

● Extraiga los audífonos del cargador y desconecte el

cargador de la fuente de alimentación.

● Solicite la asiencia de su especialia en audición.
