This device is intended to charge our specic hearing
inruments with built‑in power cells (lithium‑ion
rechargeable batteries). Your Hearing Care Professional will
advise you on the compatible models.
The charger is only intended for indoor use. Observe
and follow the operating conditions in section
"Operating, transport, and orage conditions".
The charger is not intended as a means of orage for
transportation of hearing inruments.

Correct position of the hearing inruments
■ The left and right hearing inruments can be inserted
into either charging slot. The slots are not side specic.
■ The hearing inruments lie loosely in the charging slots.
■ The ear pieces of the hearing inruments should always
point towards the atus LEDs.

Charging tips
You may have some queions on how to be charge your
hearing inruments. Read the queions and answers
below. If you have more queions, your Hearing Care
Professional will help you.
"How often do I need to charge the hearing
inruments?
We recommend charging the hearing inruments daily,
even if the power cell is not empty. Charge them overnight
so you can be sure to art your day with fully‑charged
hearing inruments.

"How long does charging take?
A full charging cycle takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.
After 30 minutes, it is possible to use your hearing
inruments for up to 7 hours.
Charging times may vary due to the use of the hearing
inruments and the age of the power cell.
"
Can I leave the hearing inruments in the charger?
Even when fully charged, you can leave the hearing
inruments in the charger. They automatically op charging
when they are fully charged.

"What happens if I forgot to charge?
Your hearing inruments will automatically switch‑o when
the power cell is empty. Charge the hearing inruments as
soon as possible.
Hearing inruments which have not been charged for over
6 months may be damaged due to an unrecoverable deep‑
discharge of the power cell. Deep‑discharged power cells
cannot be charged anymore and have to be replaced.
"What if I intend not to use the hearing inruments
for several days or longer?
■ Short‑term orage (up to several days): Turn o your
hearing inruments via the push button or place them in
the powered charger.

The charger mu be connected to the power supply.
If the charger is not connected to power supply and
you place your hearing inruments in the charger, the
hearing inruments are not turned o.
Note that when you turn o the hearing inruments
via a remote control or smartphone app, the hearing
inruments are not turned o completely. They are in
andby‑mode and ill draw some power.
Your charger dries the hearing inruments while
charging. You can also use conventional products to dry
your inruments.
■ Long‑term orage (weeks, months, ...): Fir, fully
charge your hearing inruments. Turn them o via the
push button before oring them. We recommend to use
drying products while oring the hearing inruments.

At 6 month intervals you will have to charge the hearing
inruments to avoid an unrecoverable deep‑discharge
of the power cell. Deep‑discharged power cells cannot
be charged anymore and they have to be replaced. We
recommend recharging more frequently than 6 months
intervals.
Observe the orage conditions in hearing inruments'
user guide.
Ask your Hearing Care Professional for recommended
drying products.
"What should I pay attention to when charging?
The hearing inruments and charger mu be clean
and dry. Observe the operation conditions in section

"Operating, transport, and orage conditions". Avoid
charging at high ambient temperatures, as this can shorten
the life span and capacity of the power cell.
If you use the charger in a very warm environment, note that
it will op charging if the charger's temperature exceeds
42 °C in order to cool down. The LEDs will ash orange
during the cooling phase. Charging resumes automatically
after 5 minutes. Do not touch the hearing inruments while
the LEDs are ashing orange, the hearing inruments may
be hot.

"What should I pay attention to when using a power
rip with energy-saving features?
■ Turn on the power rip before you insert the hearing
inruments in the charger. Otherwise, the hearing
inruments may not be detected by the charger.
■ Do not turn o the power rip while the hearing
inruments are in charger. Otherwise the hearing
inruments will automatically turn on and discharge in
the charger.
Before you turn o the power rip, remove the hearing
inruments from the charger and turn them o via the
push button.

Troubleshooting
Problem and possible solutions
No LED lights are on.
■ Check if the power supply is connected correctly.
LEDs are ashing orange.
Charger has reached the temperature limit and is
now in a cooling phase. Charging is resumed after
5 minutes.
■ Do not touch the hearing inruments while the
LEDs are ashing orange. The hearing inruments
may be hot.

"¿Qué ocurre si olvidé cargarlos?
Los audífonos se apagarán automáticamente cuando la
batería eé agotada. Cargue los audífonos lo antes posible.
Los audífonos que no se han cargado en más de 6 meses
pueden ear dañados debido a una descarga completa
no recuperable de la batería. Las baterías que se han
descargado completamente no pueden volver a cargarse y
deben suituirse.
"¿Y si no voy a usar los audífonos durante varios
días o más?
■ Almacenamiento a corto plazo (haa varios días):
Apague los audífonos con el pulsador o colóquelos en el
cargador con tensión.

El cargador debe ear conectado a la fuente de
alimentación. Si el cargador no eá conectado a la
fuente de alimentación y coloca los audífonos en el
cargador, eos no se apagarán.
Tenga en cuenta que si apaga los audífonos con
un control remoto o por medio de la aplicación
para smartphones, los audífonos no se apagarán
completamente. Entrarán en modo de espera y seguirán
consumiendo algo de energía.
El cargador seca los audífonos mientras se cargan.
También se pueden utilizar productos convencionales
para secar los audífonos.

■ Almacenamiento a largo plazo (semanas, meses, etc.):
En primer lugar, cargue completamente los audífonos.
Apáguelos con el pulsador antes de guardarlos. Se
recomienda el uso de productos de secado durante el
almacenamiento de los audífonos.
Deberá cargar los audífonos cada 6 meses a n de
evitar una descarga completa irrecuperable de la batería.
Las baterías que se han descargado completamente
no pueden volver a cargarse y deben suituirse. Se
recomienda realizar la recarga más frecuentemente que
a intervalos de 6 meses.
Respete las condiciones de almacenamiento indicadas
en el manual del operador de los audífonos.

Pregunte a su especialia en audición sobre los productos
de secado recomendados.
"¿Qué debo tener en cuenta a la hora de cargar?
Los audífonos y el cargador deben ear limpios y secos.
Respete las condiciones de funcionamiento de la sección
"Condiciones de funcionamiento, transporte y
almacenamiento". Evite realizar la carga a temperaturas
ambiente elevadas, ya que se podría reducir la vida útil y la
capacidad de la batería.
Si debe utilizar el cargador en un entorno muy caliente,
tenga en cuenta que si la temperatura del cargador
supera los 42 °C, la carga se detendrá para permitir que
el cargador se enfríe. Durante la fase de enfriamiento,

automáticamente después de 5 minutos. No toque los
audífonos mientras los LED parpadeen en naranja, ya que

■ Encienda la regleta antes de insertar los audífonos en el

Problema y posibles soluciones
Ninguna luz LED eá encendida.
■ Compruebe que la alimentación eé conectada
correctamente.
Los LED parpadean en naranja.
El cargador ha alcanzado el límite de temperatura y
ahora se encuentra en fase de enfriamiento. La carga
se reanuda tras 5 minutos.
■ No toque los audífonos mientras los LED parpadeen
en naranja. Los audífonos pueden ear calientes.

Problema y posibles soluciones
Los LED parpadean en rojo.
Se ha producido un error en el cargador.
■ Extraiga los audífonos del cargador y desconéctelo
de la fuente de alimentación.
■ Vuelva a conectar el cargador a la fuente de
alimentación y vuelva a insertar los audífonos en las
ranuras de carga.
Si los LED siguen parpadeando en rojo:
■ Extraiga los audífonos del cargador y desconéctelo
de la fuente de alimentación.
■ Solicite la asiencia de su especialia en audición.
