Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM, except the indicated edges of the ENDS (A and B), UPRIGHT (C), and MODESTY PANEL (F). Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step. Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å Fasten the BACK (G) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. Fasten the LONG EXTENSION BLOCKS (K) to the RIGHT END (A) and UPRIGHT (C). Use eight BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S). This hole must be closer to the top edge. Be prepared, the parts are greasy. å Fasten the EXTENSION RAILS (S) to the LONG EXTENSION BLOCKS (K). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S). å NOTE: Slide the inner cartridge of the EXTENSION RAIL in to find the holes that line up with the holes in the LONG EXTENSION BLOCKS. Turn a SCREW into each hole. T S Push the black lever in and pull the SLIDE from the RAIL. Use these holes. Slide the FILE RODS (8B) into the FILE GLIDE (4B) on the FILE DRAWER RIGHT SIDE. Insert the FILE RODS into the holes of your choice in the FILE GLIDES, depending on your file sizes. 8B 4B 8B D15 4B D14 www.sauder.com/services 419128 Page 25 Step 21 å To insert the drawers into your unit, tip the front of the drawers down and drop the rollers on the drawers behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the fronts of the drawers up and slide them into the unit. å To insert the FILE drawer into your unit, line up the EXTENSION SLIDES on the drawer with the EXTENSION RAILS on the unit and push the drawer into the unit until the drawer is fully inserted. The drawer will push in hard until it is all the way in, then it will slide in and out easier. å Push a CAM COVER (12P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. Almost time to celebrate! Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the cam. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREWS when finished with adjustments. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. To clean your unit, dampen a cloth with tap water and wipe. And to celebrate, why not share your success story? Loosen screw #3 a 1/4 turn, turn the cam a 1/4 turn maximum in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions to make adjustments, and then tighten screw #3. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. Insérer ensuite l'extrémité en métal d'une CHEVILLE D’EXCENTRIQUE (2F) dans chaque EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE, à l'exception des chants indiqués des EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B), du MONTANT (C) et du VOILE DE FOND (F). ÉTAPE 2 Faire tourner dix-sept VIS D'EXCENTRIQUE (8F) dans les PIEDS (H, I et J). ÉTAPE 3 Faire tourner quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 14 mm NOIRES (32S) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) jusqu'à ce que les épaulements des VIS repose sur les surfaces des EXTRÉMITÉS. ÉTAPE 6 Fixer une ÉLÉMENT DROITE (35GA) au BLOC D'EXTENSION (L) sur le MONTANT (C) et une ÉLÉMENT GAUCHE (35GB) au BLOC D'EXTENSION (L) sur l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3. ÉTAPE 7 Fixer le PIED ARRIÈRE GAUCHE (I) sur l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) au VOILE DE FOND (F). Serrer trois EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. ÉTAPE 8 Attention : Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'effondrer. Fixer le PIED ARRIÈRE CENTRE (J) sur le MONTANT (C) au VOILE DE FOND (F). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. REMARQUE : Si la MOULURE soulève au-dessus les VIS, l'enlever et l'enfiler de nouveau. ÉTAPE 4 Retourner les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B). Fixer les PIEDS (H et I) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et au MONTANT (C). Fixer les BLOCS D'EXTENSION LONGUES (K) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) et au MONTANT (C). Utiliser huit VIS TÊTE PLATE 25 mm MARRON (12S). Relever soigneusement les pièces assemblées et fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B), le MONTANT C) et le VOILE DE FOND (F) au DESSUS (D). Serrer six EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien insérer la CHEVILLE EN BOIS située sur le DESSUS dans le trou dans le PIED (H). Attention: Risque des dégâts ou blessures. Les Excentriques Escamotables doivent être serrés à bloc. Les Excentriques Escamotables que ne sont pas serrées à bloc peuvent desserrer et les pièces peuvent séparer. Pour serrer à bloc, faire tourner l'excentrique escamotable de 210 degrés. ÉTAPE 10 Fixer le DESSOUS (E) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Enfiler la MOULURE DE DESSOUS* (Q) sur le chant cranté du DESSOUS (E). REMARQUE : Les chants finis des BLOCS D'EXTENSION LONGUES doivent être dirigés vers l’avant de l’unité. ÉTAPE 14 Séparer les COULISSES D'EXTENSION (T) des GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION (S) comme l'indique le schéma agrandi ci-dessous. Faire attention car les pièces sont graissées. Fixer les GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION (S) aux BLOCS D'EXTENSION LONGUES (K). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S). REMARQUE : Enfiler la cartouche interne de la GLISSIÈRE D'EXTENSION vers l'intérieur pour trouver les autres trous qui sont alignés sur les trous dans les BLOCS D'EXTENSION LONGUES. ÉTAPE 21 Pour insérer les tiroirs dans l'élément, abaisser le devant des tiroirs et faire passer les roulettes situées sur les tiroirs derrière les roulettes situées sur l'élément.
