Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. å Fasten an EXTENSION RAIL (Y) to the LEFT END (B) and UPRIGHT (C). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (QQ). å NOTE: For each EXTENSION RAIL, turn a SCREW into the hole shown in the enlarged diagram. Then, slide the inner cartridge of the EXTENSION RAIL out to find the other hole that lines up with the hole in the END. Turn a SCREW into this hole. å Fasten the CABINET RIGHT (40CA) and CABINET LEFT (40CB) to the LEFT END (B) and UPRIGHT (C). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (QQ). Tighten three TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible. Caution Insert the METAL PINS (KK) in the ends of the BRACES (L) into the holes in the LEFT END (B) and UPRIGHT (C). Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Lay the BACKS (J and K) over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACKS (J and K). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACKS (J and K) to your unit using the NAILS (RR). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (D). Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Use a SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREW (OO). Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (40CC) and DRAWER LEFT (40CD) to the DRAWER SIDES (D107 and D108). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (QQ) through holes #1 and #4. Use a SILVER 3/4" MACHINE SCREW (NN). å Push the FILE GLIDES (AA) onto the DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15). NN SILVER 3/4" MACHINE SCREW (1 used for the PULL) AA AA D15 II O Page 18 D14 408761 www.sauder.com/services Step 15 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å To insert the other drawer into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. If you're doing this to help a friend, don't leave without a bite. To insert the large drawer into your unit, line up the EXTENSION SLIDES on the drawer with the EXTENSION RAILS on the unit and push the drawer into the unit until the drawer is fully inserted. The drawer will push in hard until it is all the way in, then it will slide in and out easier. 25 lbs. 70 lbs. 20 lbs. 15 lbs. 30 lbs. www.sauder.com/services 408761 Page 19 Step 16 å To make adjustments to the large drawer, loosen SCREW #3 (#4 in the top drawer) in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the cam clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the cam. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREWS when finished with adjustments. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. To clean your unit, dampen a cloth with tap water and wipe. And to celebrate, why not share your success story? Loosen screw #3 a 1/4 turn, turn the cam a 1/4 turn maximum in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions to make adjustments, and then tighten screw #3. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. Finir de percer les six trous dans la surface inférieure du DESSUS (F) en utilisant une mèche 6,5mm. Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol. Pour commencer l'assemblage, enfoncer une FIXATION TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER (FF) dans les gros trous de l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) et l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Répéter cette étape pour les MONTANTS (C, D et E), le VOILE DE FOND (H), la TABLETTE (I) et les deux ENTRETOISES (L). ÉTAPE 2 Séparer les COULISSES D'EXTENSION (Z) des GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION (Y) comme l'indique le schéma ci-dessous. Faire attention car les pièces sont graissées. Fixer une GLISSIÈRE D'EXTENSION (Y) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) et au MONTANT (C). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (QQ). REMARQUE : Pour chaque GLISSIÈRE D'EXTENSION, faire tourner une VIS dans le trou indiqué dans le schéma agrandi. Ensuite, enfiler la cartouche interne de la GLISSIÈRE D'EXTENSION vers l'extérieur pour trouver l'autre trou qui est aligné sur le trou dans l'EXTRÉMITÉ. Faire tourner une VIS dans ce trou. Ensuite fixer le DESSUS (F) aux MONTANTS (D et E). Utiliser six VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (LL). ÉTAPE 5 Attention: Ne pas relever l’élément dans sa position verticale avant d’avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L’élément risque de s’effondrer. Insérer quatre GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (KK) dans les ENTRETOISES (L). Insérer les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (KK) situées sur les extrémités des ENTRETOISES (L) dans les trous dans l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) et le MONTANT (C). Maintenant, fixer les ENTRETOISES (L) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) et MONTANT (C). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. ÉTAPE 6 Fixer la TABLETTE (I) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) et au MONTANT (C). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Fixer les SOCLES LATÉRAUX (M) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) et au MONTANT (C). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 25 mm MARRON (MM). Fixer l'ÉLÉMENT DROITE (40CA) et l'ÉLÉMENT GAUCHE (40CB) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) et au MONTANT (C). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (QQ). ÉTAPE 7 ÉTAPE 3 Fixer quatre CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE (HH) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B), au MONTANT (C) et à l'ENTRETOISE (L). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (PP). Fixer les MONTANTS (D et E) au DESSUS DE SURMEUBLE (G). Serrer trois FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Utilisation de la FIXATION TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER 1. Insérer l'extrémité filetée de la FIXATION dans le trou de la pièce attenante. REMARQUE : L'extrémité filetée de la FIXATION doit rester complètement insérée dans le trou de la pièce attenante lorsque l'on bloque la FIXATION. REMARQUE : S'assurer que les chants des CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE sont à fleur des chants de l’EXTRÉMITÉ, du MONTANT et ENTRETOISE. Fixer le SOCLE (N) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B), au MONTANT (C) et à l'ENTRETOISE (L). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (PP). 2. Bien serrer la FIXATION à l'aide d'un tournevis Phillips. Page 22 408761 www.sauder.com/services ÉTAPE 8 ÉTAPE 11 Relever, avec précaution, l'assemblage dans sa position verticale. 1. Insérer les CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D14 et D15) en biseau dans la fente dans chaque extrémité du DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (O). Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) au VOILE DE FOND (H). Serrer deux FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. REMARQUE : S’assurer de supporter le VOILE DE FOND jusqu'à ce qu’est fixé au MONTANT (C). Fixer le VOILE DE FOND (H) au MONTANT (C). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (LL). ÉTAPE 9 2. Enfiler le FOND DE TIROIR (D716) dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D14 et D15) et du DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (O). 3. Fixer l'ARRIÈRE DE GRAND TIROIR (D78) aux CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D14 et D15). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 40 mm NOIRES (30S). L'assistance d'autrui peut être nécessaire à cette étape. ÉTAPE 10 ÉTAPE 12 Attention: Ne pas relever l’élément dans sa position verticale avant d’avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L’élément risque de s’effondrer. Insérer les EXCENTRIQUES DE COULISSE (GG) dans les gros trous des CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D14 et D15). Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Placer les ARRIÈRES (J et K) sur l'élément. Fixer les COULISSES D’EXTENSION (Z) aux CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D14 et D15). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (QQ) à travers les trous 1 et 3. Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants des ARRIÈRES (J et K). Si besoin est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de l'élément pour s'assurer d'être « d'équerre ». REMARQUE : La tête de vis dans l'EXCENTRIQUE doit être visible à travers le trou fendu dans la COULISSE. Fixer les ARRIÈRES (J et K) à l'élément à l'aide des CLOUS (RR). REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien enfoncer les CLOUS dans les trous qui sont alignés sur le MONTANT (D). REMARQUE : Des lignes perforées ont été prévues pour accéder facilement à l'ARRIÈRE. Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale. Fixer le TIROIR DROIT (40CC) et TIROIR GAUCHE (40CD) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D107 et D108). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (QQ) à travers les trous 1 et 4. REMARQUE : La tête de vis dans l'EXCENTRIQUE doit être visible à travers le trou fendu dans la COULISSE. Fixer une POIGNÉE (II) au DEVANT DE TIROIR (T). Utiliser une VIS ARGENTÉE À MÉTAUX 16 mm (OO). Pour insérer le grand tiroir dans l'élément, aligner les COULISSES D'EXTENSION du tiroir sur les GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION de l'élément et enfoncer le tiroir dans l'élément jusqu'à ce que le tiroir soit complètement inséré.
