The drawer will push in hard until it is all the way in, then it will slide in and out easier. å To insert the drawers into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. Repeat this step to insert the KEYBOARD SHELF (N2). Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. Page 26 408289 www.sauder.com/services Step 22 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #4 (SCREW #3 in the small drawers) in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. To clean your unit, dampen a cloth with tap water and wipe. And to celebrate, why not share your success story? Loosen screw #4 a 1/4 turn, turn the cam a 1/4 turn maximum in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions to make adjustments, and then tighten screw #4. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. Séparer les COULISSES D'EXTENSION (BB) des GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION (AA) comme l'indique le schéma ci-dessous supérieure. Faire attention car les pièces sont graissées. Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol. Pour commencer l'assemblage, enfoncer trente-quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2), les MONTANTS (C2 et D2), le VOILE DE FOND (F2) et les ENTRETOISES (H2). Insérer ensuite l'extrémité en métal d'une CHEVILLE D’EXCENTRIQUE (2F) dans chaque EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE, à l'exception des chants longs des ENTRETOISES (H2). ÉTAPE 2 Faire tourner huit VIS D'EXCENTRIQUE (8F) dans les MOULURES DE DESSOUS (Y). Fixer les GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION (AA) aux BLOCS D'EXTENSION (I) situés sur les EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Utiliser huit VIS DORÉES TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (3S). REMARQUE : Pour chaque GLISSIÈRE D'EXTENSION, faire tourner une VIS dans le trou indiqué dans le schéma agrandi. Ensuite, enfiler la cartouche interne de la GLISSIÈRE D'EXTENSION vers l'extérieur pour trouver l'autre trou qui est aligné sur le trou dans l'EXTRÉMITÉ. Faire tourner une VIS dans ce trou. ÉTAPE 6 ÉTAPE 3 Fixer les autres GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT NUMÉROTÉES (CC et DD) sur les autres surfaces des MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 4. Fixer seize CONSOLES DE GLISSIÈRE (47G) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et aux MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Utiliser trente-deux VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (1S). ÉTAPE 7 Fixer les BLOCS D'EXTENSION (I) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et aux MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Utiliser huit VIS ARGENTÉES TÊTE PLATE 51 mm (57S). ÉTAPE 4 Fixer quatre GLISSIÈRES DROITES D'ÉLÉMENT NUMÉROTÉES (CC) et quatre GLISSIÈRES GAUCHES D'ÉLÉMENT NUMÉROTÉE (DD) aux CONSOLES DE GLISSIÈRE sur les EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et les MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Utiliser seize VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3. REMARQUE : Les GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT ont une inscription "CABINET RIGHT" (droite) et "CABINET LEFT" (gauche) pour faciliter leur identification. www.sauder.com/services Insérer quatre GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (1R) dans les ENTRETOISES (H2). Insérer les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (1R) situées sur les extrémités de deux ENTRETOISES (H2) dans les trous dans l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B2) et le MONTANT GAUCHE (C2). Fixer deux ENTRETOISES (H2) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B2) et MONTANT GAUCHE (C2). Serrer quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Répéter cette étape pour l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A2), le MONTANT DROIT (D2) et les ENTRETOISES (H2). Attention: Risque des dégâts ou blessures. Les Excentriques Escamotables doivent être serrés à bloc. Les Excentriques Escamotables que ne sont pas serrées à bloc peuvent desserrer et les pièces peuvent séparer. Pour serrer à bloc, faire tourner l'excentrique escamotable de 210 degrés. 408289 Page 29 ÉTAPE 8 ÉTAPE 14 Fixer les EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et les MONTANTS (C2 et D2) au DESSUS (E2). Serrer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Fixer la POIGNÉE DE TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (21K) à la TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (N2). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 14 mm NOIRES (51S). ÉTAPE 9 Fixer l'ARRIÈRE DE TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (L) à la TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (N2). Utiliser deux VIS MARRON TÊTE PLATE 38 mm (14S). Fixer le VOILE DE FOND (F2) au DESSUS (E2). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Fixer le VOILE DE FOND (F2) aux MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (2S). Fixer les CÔTÉS DE TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (LLL et M2) à l'ARRIÈRE DE TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (L) et à la TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (N2). Utiliser quatre VIS MARRON TÊTE PLATE 38 mm (14S). ÉTAPE 10 ÉTAPE 15 Fixer les ARRIÈRES (G2) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et aux MONTANTS (C2 et D2). Serrer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Fixer deux POIGNÉES (12H) au DEVANT DE TABLETTE DE TIROIR (K). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 16 mm ARGENTÉES (23S). ÉTAPE 11 Enfiler les MOULURES D'EXTRÉMITÉ* (Z) sur les chants crantés des EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et MONTANTS (C2 et D2). * Brevet État Unis n° 5,499,886 ÉTAPE 12 Fixer les MOULURES DE DESSOUS (Y) aux ENTRETOISES (H2). Serrer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. REMARQUE : Il ne doit pas y avoir d’écart entre les MOULURES DU DESSOUS et les ARRIÈRES. Fixer les CHARNIÈRES (12H) à la TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (N2). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm ARGENTÉES (54S). ÉTAPE 16 Fixer une COULISSE DROITE DE TIROIR NUMÉROTÉE (EE) et une COULISSE GAUCHE DE TIROIR NUMÉROTÉE (FF) aux CÔTÉS DE LA TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (LLL et M2). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous n° 1 et n° 3. REMARQUE : Les COULISSES DE TIROIR ont une inscription "DRAWER RIGHT" (droite) et une inscription "DRAWER LEFT" (gauche) pour faciliter leur identification. ÉTAPE 13 Fixer seize CONSOLES EN MÉTAL (4G) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2), aux MONTANTS (C2 et D2) et aux ENTRETOISES (H2). Utiliser seize VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). REMARQUE : S'assurer que les chants des CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE sont à fleur des chants des EXTRÉMITÉS, des MONTANTS et des ENTRETOISES. Ensuite, fixer les SOCLES (J) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2), aux MONTANTS (C2 et D2) et aux ENTRETOISES (H2). Utiliser seize VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). Insérer un EXCENTRIQUE DE COULISSE (10A) dans les gros trous dans les CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D107 et D108). 2 Enfiler le FOND DE GRAND TIROIR (D708) dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D87 et D88) et du DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (T). 3 Fixer l'ARRIÈRE DE GRAND TIROIR (D78) aux CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D87 et D88). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 40 mm NOIRES (30S). REMARQUE : S'assurer que le FOND DE GRAND TIROIR (D708) s'encastre dans la rainure de l'ARRIÈRE DE GRAND TIROIR (D78). Répéter cette étape pour les autres tiroirs. Fixer les COULISSES DE TIROIR NUMÉROTÉES (EE et FF) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D107 et D108). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3. REMARQUE : Les COULISSES DE TIROIR ont une inscription "DRAWER RIGHT" (droite) et une inscription "DRAWER LEFT" (gauche) pour faciliter leur identification. REMARQUE : La tête de vis dans l'EXCENTRIQUE doit être visible à travers le trou fendu dans la COULISSE. Fixer la POIGNÉE (96K) au DEVANT DE TIROIR (O). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 25 mm NOIRES (60S). Répéter cette étape pour l'autre petit tiroir. ÉTAPE 18 Insérer une EXCENTRIQUE DE COULISSE (10A) dans les gros trous dans les CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D87 et D88). Fixer les COULISSES D'EXTENSION (BB) aux CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D87 et D88). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous 1 et 4. REMARQUE : La tête de vis dans l'EXCENTRIQUE doit être visible à travers le trou fendu dans la COULISSE. Répéter cette étape pour l'autre grand tiroir. ÉTAPE 19 Enfoncer une ARMATURE POUR DOSSIERS (6B) sur le CÔTÉ GAUCHE DE GRAND TIROIR (D88). Enfiler les GUIDES POUR DOSSIERS (8B) dans l'ARMATURE POUR DOSSIERS (6B) située sur le CÔTÉ GAUCHE DE GRAND TIROIR. Enfiler une autre ARMATURE POUR DOSSIERS (6B) sur l'autre extrémité des GUIDES POUR DOSSIERS (8B) et appuyer cette ARMATURE POUR DOSSIERS sur le CÔTÉ DROIT DE GRAND TIROIR (D87). Fixer une POIGNÉE (96K) au DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (T). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 25 mm (60S). Répéter cette étape pour l'autre grand tiroir. ÉTAPE 21 Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale. Insérer les PASSE-CÂBLÉS (38P) et les COUVERCLES DE PASSE-CÂBLÉS (39P) dans le DESSUS (E2). Pour insérer les grands tiroirs dans l'élément, aligner les COULISSES D'EXTENSION du tiroir sur les GLISSIÈRES D'EXTENSION de l'élément et enfoncer le tiroir dans l'élément jusqu'à ce que le tiroir soit complètement inséré. Le tiroir offrira une certaine résistance jusqu'à ce qu'il soit complètement inséré dans l'élément, il glissera ensuite sans difficulté. Pour insérer les tiroirs dans l'élément, abaisser le devant du tiroir et faire passer les roulettes situées sur le tiroir derrière les roulettes situées sur l'élément. Relever le devant du tiroir et l'enfiler dans l'élément. Répéter cette étape pour insérer la TABLETTE DE CLAVIER (N2). ÉTAPE 22 Pour ajuster les tiroirs, desserrer la VIS nº 4 (VIS nº 3 pour les petits tiroirs) dans les COULISSES un quart de tour et tourner ensuite la CAME dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre ou dans le sens contraire. Noter que le tiroir monte ou descend lorsque l'on tourne la CAME. Plus la vis dans le trou oblong est haute, plus le devant de tiroir sera haut. Plus la vis est basse, plus le devant de tiroir sera bas. Ajuster les tiroirs de cette manière permet aux DEVANTS DE TIROIR d'être mieux alignés une fois fermés.
