This time. CARE and CLEANING Wood/Laminate: Use your favorite type of furniture polish. Do not spray polish directly onto the furniture. Spray onto a soft cloth then wipe onto the furniture. Always test polish in a discrete location first, such as the inside of a door, to ensure that there is no adverse reaction. Clean spills immediately with a soft, damp cloth. Dust frequently with a soft cloth. Protect surfaces by using felt, leather or cork under the accessories. Use a protective pad when using your furniture as a writing surface (especially when using a ballpoint pen). Never slide objects across surfaces. Lift objects from the top surface rather than dragging them across the finish when moving them. Do not expose furniture to direct sunlight, drying heat sources or dampness. Care of the Granite Top When properly used and maintained, the granite surface should maintain its beauty and provide you with many years of use. Please read and follow these instructions: 1. Blot up spills immediately. Acidic substances like wine, tomato sauce, and sodas can stain the surface. 2. Clean the surface with a sponge or soft cloth. Use formulated stone cleaners or plain water. a. Avoid using soaps since soaps will form a build-up on the surface. b. Avoid using bathroom, tub, and tile or grout cleaners. These contain abrasives that can scratch and dull the surface. c. Avoid using vinegar, ammonia, lemon, or "orange" cleaners. These can damage the surface. 3. Use coasters under bottles, glasses, and cans. Use trivets or hot pads under pots and pans. This is good practice for all surfaces and helps prevent inadvertent scratches and chipping. 4. Always use cutting boards for food preparation activities: a. Especially after preparations involving raw meats, the cutting board must be sanitized. b. If used as a cutting surface, granite will dull cutlery. Knives will also scratch the granite surface. Once the DOOR is in place, tighten the SCREW back down using the ALLEN WRENCH (NN). Fasten the DOOR (N) to the BOTTOM (C) and the FRONT BRACE (I). Insert the BAR (P) into the BAR SUPPORTS. Tighten the ALLEN SCREWS using the ALLEN WRENCH (NN). Slide the SMALL PANEL (K) into the grooves on the ENDS (B and D) and REAR BRACE (H). Use two 50 mm FLAT HEAD SCREWS (Y) and two 12mm FLAT HEAD SCREWS (AA) as shown. å Fasten the GRANITE TOP (A) to the ENDS (B and D). Use four ALLEN SCREWS (W). Tighten using the ALLEN WRENCH (NN). Y The DRAWER GLIDE (J) has an arrow which should be attached to the GRANITE TOP (A) facing away from the groove. Use four 25mm PHILLIPS SCREWS (Z). å Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (T) into the grooves on the DRAWER SIDE, BACK, AND FRONT. å Then, fasten the RIGHT DRAWER SIDE (S) to the DRAWER BACK (R) and DRAWER FRONT (L). Make sure the groove lines up with the DRAWER BOTTOM (T). Use four 25mm PHILLIPS SCREWS (Z). å Fasten the PULL (II) to the DRAWER FRONT (L). Use two 12mm PHILLIPS SCREWS (AA). å Repeat these steps for the other drawer. Tap them firmly into place with a rubber mallet. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. Insert eight METAL PINS (GG) into the holes in the ENDS (B and D) and UPRIGHT (E). Then place the SHELVES (F and M) on top of the METAL PINS. This completes assembly. Ne pas pulvériser de l'encaustique directement sur le meuble. Vaporiser sur un chiffon doux puis essuyer les meubles. Toujours commencer par tester l’encaustique sur un endroit peu visible, comme l’intérieur d’une porte, pour s’assurer qu’il n’y a pas de réaction indésirable. Nettoyer immédiatement les déversements à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et humide. Épousseter fréquemment à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. Protéger les surfaces en plaçant de la feutrine, du cuir ou du liège sous les accessoires. Utiliser un tapis protecteur lors de l’utilisation d’un meuble comme surface d’écriture (en particulier, lors de l’utilisation d’un stylo bille). Ne jamais faire glisser d’objets sur les surfaces. Soulever les objets de la surface supérieure au lieu de les traîner sur le fini pour les déplacer. Ne pas exposer les meubles à la lumière directe du soleil, à des sources de chaleur desséchantes ou à l’humidité. Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol. Entretien du dessus en granit Quand utilisée et entretenue correctement, la surface en granit doit maintenir sa beauté et vous offrir de nombreuses années d’utilisation. Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (D) au DESSOUS (C) et aux ENTRETOISES (H et I). Utiliser six VIS ALLEN (W) et serrer à l’aide de la CLÉ ALLEN (NN). Fixer le MONTANT (E) au DESSOUS (C). Utiliser deux VIS ALLEN (W). Serrer à l’aide de la CLÉ ALLEN (NN). ÉTAPE 2 Fixer les ENTRETOISES (H et I) au MONTANT (E). Utiliser deux VIS ALLEN (W). REMARQUE : S’assurer que les rainures dans l’ENTRETOISE ARRIÈRE (H), le MONTANT (E) et le DESSOUS (C) s’alignent toutes. ÉTAPE 3 Prière de lire et de suivre ces instructions : 1. Éponger immédiatement tout liquide renversé. Les substances acides telles que le vin, la sauce tomate et les boissons gazeuses peuvent tacher la surface. 2. Nettoyer la surface avec une éponge ou un chiffon doux. Utiliser des nettoyants spécialement formulés pour la pierre ou de l’eau claire. a. Éviter d’utiliser des savons étant donné que les savons formeront un dépôt sur la surface. ÉTAPE 4 Enfiler le PANNEAU ARRIÈRE (G) dans les rainures du DESSOUS (C), MONTANT (E) et de l'ENTRETOISE ARRIÈRE (H). Fixer l’AIMANT DE PORTE (EE) au MONTANT (E). Utiliser deux VIS CRUCIFORMES 14 mm (BB). b. Éviter d’utiliser des nettoyants pour salles de bain, baignoires, carrelages ou joints. Ces derniers contiennent des abrasifs qui peuvent rayer et ternir la surface. c. Éviter d’utiliser du vinaigre, de l’ammoniac, du citron, ou des nettoyants « orange ». Ceux-ci peuvent endommager la surface. 3. Utiliser des dessous-de-verre sous les bouteilles, les verres et les cannettes. Utiliser des dessous-de-plat sous les casseroles et les poêles. C’est une bonne pratique pour toutes les surfaces pour éviter toute rayure et toute ébréchure. 4. Toujours utiliser des planches à découper pour les activités de préparations alimentaires : a. Particulièrement à la suite de préparations mettant en jeu des viandes crues, la planche à découper doit être désinfectée. b. Si utilisé comme surface à découper, le granit va émousser les couteaux. Les couteaux vont également rayer la surface en granit. Avertissement concernant la pierre naturelle Le granit est un matériau entièrement naturel et, en tant que tel, peut avoir des variances de couleur et de cristaux, de légères piqûres en surface, des lignes et des imperfections qui se produiront naturellement dans une dalle. Le dessus en granit inclus peut comporter lesdites variations. 419324 www.sauder.com/service Page 17 ÉTAPE 5 ÉTAPE 9 Fixer le BOUTON (DD) à la PORTE (N). Utiliser une BOULON CRUCIFORME (X). Fixer la COULISSE DE TIROIR (J) et les BUTÉES DE TIROIR (HH) sur le DESSUS EN GRANIT (A). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 50 mm (Y) et deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 12 mm (AA) comme il l’est indiqué. Fixer la PLAQUE MAGNÉTIQUE (FF) à la porte. Utiliser une VIS CRUCIFORME 12 mm NOIRE (MM). Fixer le DESSUS EN GRANIT (A) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (B et D). Utiliser quatre VIS ALLEN (W). Serrer à l’aide de la CLÉ ALLEN (NN). ÉTAPE 6 Insérer les CHARNIÈRES (CC) dans la PORTE (N) comme l'indique le schéma. ÉTAPE 10 Fixer la PORTE (N) au DESSOUS (C) et à l'ENTRETOISE AVANT (I). Fixer le CÔTÉ GAUCHE DE TIROIR (Q) à l'ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR (R) et au DEVANT DE TIROIR (L). Utiliser quatre VIS CRUCIFORMES 25 mm (Z). REMARQUE : Il faut desserrer la VIS connectant l’ENTRETOISE AVANT (I) au MONTANT (E) pour pouvoir l’écarter légèrement pour insérer les CHARNIÈRES (CC) dans le DESSOUS et l’ENTRETOISE AVANT. Une fois la PORTE en place, resserrer la VIS à l’aide de la CLÉ ALLEN (NN). ÉTAPE 7 Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (B) au DESSOUS (C) et aux ENTRETOISES (H et I). Utiliser six VIS ALLEN (W). Serrer à l’aide de la CLÉ ALLEN (NN). Insérer les ROULETTES VERROUILLABLES (JJ) dans les trous au bas de l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (D). Insérer les ROULETTES (KK) dans les trous au bas de l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (B). ÉTAPE 8 Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale. Fixer sans les serrer les SUPPORTS DE BARRE (O) sur l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (D). Utiliser quatre VIS ALLEN (W). Insérer la BARRE (P) dans les SUPPORTS DE BARRE. Serrer quatre VIS ALLEN à l’aide de la CLÉ ALLEN (NN). Enfiler le FOND DE TIROIR (T) dans les rainures du CÔTÉ DE TIROIR, ARRIÈRE et du DEVANT. Fixer le CÔTÉ DROIT DE TIROIR (S) à l'ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR (R) et au DEVANT DE TIROIR (L). S’assurer que la rainure s’aligne sur le DESSOUS DE TIROIR (T). Utiliser quatre VIS CRUCIFORMES 25 mm (Z). Fixer le POIGNÉE (II) à au DEVANT DE TIROIR (L). Utiliser deux VIS CRUCIFORMES 12 mm (AA). Répéter ces étapes pour l’autre tiroir. ÉTAPE 11 Insérer les tiroirs dans l'élément. Insérer huit GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (GG) dans les trous choisis dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (B et D) et les MONTANTS (E). Ensuite, placer les TABLETTES (F et M) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL. Insérer seize CACHE-TROUS (LL) dans les trous exposés sur l’extérieur de l’unité. Les enfoncer fermement en place avec un maillet en caoutchouc. REMARQUE : Prière de lire les informations importantes sur la sécurité figurant sur les pages arrière du manuel d’instructions.
