Lay the BACK (H) over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (H). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å Fasten the BACK (H) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. Groove å Insert the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15) at an angle into the slot at each end of the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (K). å 3 Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (D716) into the grooves in the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15) and LARGE DRAWER FRONT (K). Start each screw a few turns before completely tightening any of them. 30S D78 BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) D14 D716 D15 å Fasten the LARGE DRAWER BACK (D78) to the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15). Use four BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (30S). å NOTE: Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM (D716) inserts into the groove of the LARGE DRAWER BACK (D78). å Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the small drawer. Use a BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREW (21S). å Repeat this step for the small drawer. Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (40CC) and DRAWER LEFT (40CD) to the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15). Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. Repeat this step to insert the small drawer and pencil drawer. Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. Push a CAM COVER (12P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. Insert a GROMMET (10P) and GROMMET CAP (1P) into the large hole in the TOP (D). 1P 10P 60 lbs. D 20 lbs. 15 lbs. 30 lbs. 30 lbs. 12P (4 used) To cover HIDDEN CAMS www.sauder.com/services 414468 Page 25 Step 21 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #4 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. To clean your unit, dampen a cloth with tap water and wipe. And to celebrate, why not share your success story? Loosen screw #4 a 1/4 turn, turn the cam a 1/4 turn maximum in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions to make adjustments, and then tighten screw #4. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. Fixer le MONTANT (C) sur le DESSUS (D). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol. Enfoncer vingt et un EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B), le MONTANT (C), le VOILE DE FOND (F), la TABLETTE (G) et l'ENTRETOISE (I). Insérer ensuite l'extrémité en métal d'une CHEVILLE D’EXCENTRIQUE (2F) dans chaque EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE, à l'exception des chants longs de l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). ÉTAPE 2 Faire tourner six VIS D'EXCENTRIQUE (8F) dans les PIEDS (T et U). Fixer les PIEDS (T et U) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Serrer six EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Fixer le MONTANT (C) au VOILE DE FOND (F). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (2S). Insérer une GOUPILLE EN MÉTAL (1R) dans le trou du MONTANT (C). Fixer l'ENTRETOISE (I) au MONTANT (C). Serrer l’EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE. REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien insérer la GOUPILLE située sur le MONTANT dans le trou dans ÉTAPE 8 Fixer la TABLETTE (G) au MONTANT (C). Insérer une GOUPILLE EN MÉTAL (1R) dans le trou dans l'ENTRETOISE (I). REMARQUE : Les GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT ont une inscription "CABINET RIGHT" (droite) et "CABINET LEFT" (gauche) pour faciliter leur identification. ÉTAPE 4 Retourner le MONTANT (C) sur sa surface opposée. Fixer les ÉLÉMENTS DROITES (40CA) sur l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) et les ÉLÉMENTS GAUCHES (40CB) sur le MONTANT (C). Utiliser huit VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 4. Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) au DESSUS (D), à la TABLETTE (G) et à l'ENTRETOISE (I). Serrer cinq EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien insérer la GOUPILLE située sur l'ENTRETOISE dans le trou dans l'EXTRÉMITÉ. ÉTAPE 10 Fixer le DESSOUS (E) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) et au MONTANT (C). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (2S). ÉTAPE 11 ÉTAPE 5 Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'effondrer. Insérer une GOUPILLE EN MÉTAL (1R) dans le trou du DESSUS (D). Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) au DESSUS (D). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien insérer la GOUPILLE située sur le DESSUS dans le trou dans l'EXTRÉMITÉ. Attention: Risque des dégâts ou blessures. Les Excentriques Escamotables doivent être serrés à bloc. Les Excentriques Escamotables que ne sont pas serrées à bloc peuvent desserrer et les pièces peuvent séparer. Pour serrer à bloc, faire tourner l'excentrique escamotable de 210 degrés. ÉTAPE 6 Fixer le VOILE DE FOND (F) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Serrer trois EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Page 28 Fixer six CONSOLES EN MÉTAL (4G) aux PLINTHES (L et M). Utiliser six VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). REMARQUE : S'assurer que les CONSOLES sont à fleur des chants des PLINTHES. Fixer les PLINTHES AVANT/ARRIÈRE (L) au DESSOUS (E). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). Insérer une GOUPILLE EN MÉTAL (1R) dans les trous dans les PIEDS (R et S). Enfoncer les GOUPILLES située sur les PIEDS dans les trous dans les PLINTHES. ÉTAPE 12 Fixer les PLINTHES LATÉRALES (M) au DESSOUS (E). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). Fixer les SUPPORTS EN CORNIÈRE (31G) au DESSOUS (E), aux PLINTHES LATÉRALES (M) et aux PIEDS (R et S). Placer l'ARRIÈRE (H) sur l'élément. Fixer le TIROIR DROIT (40CC) et TIROIR GAUCHE (40CD) aux CÔTÉS DE GRAND TIROIR (D14 et D15). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 2 et nº 4. Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants de l'ARRIÈRE (H). Si besoin est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de l'élément pour s'assurer d'être « d'équerre ». REMARQUE : La tête de vis dans l'EXCENTRIQUE doit être visible à travers le trou fendu dans la COULISSE. Fixer l'ARRIÈRE (H) à l'élément à l'aide des CLOUS (1N). Fixer un BOUTON (48K) sur le DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (K). Utiliser une VIS À MÉTAUX 28 mm NOIRE (21S). ÉTAPE 14 Fixer les CÔTÉS DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (P) au FOND DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (Q). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (2S). Fixer l’ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (O) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (P). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 48 mm NOIRES (2S). Fixer l’ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (O) au FOND DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (Q). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 32 mm NOIRES (74S). Répéter cette étape pour le petit tiroir. ÉTAPE 15 Fixer les CHARNIÈRES (12H) au DEVANT DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (N). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 16 mm ARGENT (23S). Fixer les CHARNIÈRES (12H) au FOND DE TIROIR À CRAYONS (Q). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm ARGENT (54S). ÉTAPE 16 Fije las CORREDERAS DE CAJÓN (X y Y) al FONDO DE CAJÓN PARA LÁPICES (Q). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS MARRONES DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 25 mm (18S). NOTA: Las CORREDERAS DE CAJÓN tienen una inscripción "DRAWER RIGHT" (derecha) y una inscripción "DRAWER LEFT" (izquierda) para identificarlas fácilmente. Fije un TIRADOR (48K) a la CARA DE CAJÓN PARA LÁPICES (N). Utilice un TORNILLO NEGRO PARA METAL de 28 mm (21S). Enfoncer un COUVERCLE D'EXCENTRIQUE (12P) sur chaque EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE visible. Insérer un PASSE-CÂBLES (10P) et un COUVERCLE DE PASSE-CÂBLES (1P) dans le gros trou du DESSUS (D). Pour insérer le grand tiroir dans l'élément, abaisser le devant du tiroir et faire passer les roulettes situées sur le tiroir derrière les roulettes situées sur l'élément. Relever le devant du tiroir et l'enfiler dans l'élément. Répéter cette étape pour insérer le petit tiroir et le tiroir à crayons. ÉTAPE 21 Pour ajuster les tiroirs, desserrer la VIS nº 4 dans les COULISSES un quart de tour et tourner ensuite la CAME dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre ou dans le sens contraire. Noter que le tiroir monte ou descend lorsque l'on tourne la CAME. Plus la vis dans le trou oblong est haute, plus le devant de tiroir sera haut. Plus la vis est basse, plus le devant de tiroir sera bas. Ajuster les tiroirs de cette manière permet aux DEVANTS DE TIROIR d'être mieux alignés une fois fermés. Resserrer le VIS après d'avoir ajusté.
