The hair straightening brush is intended
exclusively for the purpose of styling
your own real human head hair.

Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufac-
turer.

This device can be used by children from the age of 8 and people
with restricted physical, sensory or intellectual abilities or people
without adequate experience and/or understanding, if they are su-
pervised or instructed on how to use this device safely and if they
are aware of the resulting hazards. Children must not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by
children unless they are supervised.

power cable.

Do not use this device in the vicinity of bathtubs, showers,
washbowls or other containers containing water.

If you use the hair straightening brush in a bathroom, always pull
out the mains plug afterwards. The proximity of water represents a
hazard even when the device is switched off.

If the mains power cable of this device should become damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer
service department or a similarly qualified specialist, in order to
avoid any hazards.

Installation of a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) with a rated
residual operating current of no more than 30 mA is recommended
to provide additional protection. Ask your electrician for advice.

keep this plastic bag away from ba-
bies and children. Do not use this
bag in cribs, beds, carriages, or
playpens. This bag is not a toy.
Risk to or from pets and
livestock

dition, animals can also cause dam-
age to the device. For this reason
you should keep animals away from
electrical devices at all times.
Risk of electric shock due to

6. Operation

on soft objects (e.g. towels). As
long as the device is switched on
and/or hot, always place it on a
stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.

Risk of injury through burning
~Never touch the hot brush insert
with ceramic coating|6.
TIP: before using it for the first time,
switch the device on for a few minutes
and set it to the highest temperature
(356 °F). As a result of the manufactur-
ing process, you may notice a slight
odor. This is normal and only occurs
during first use. Ensure that the room is
well ventilated.
6.1 Switching on/off and
adjusting temperature
1. Place the device on a heat-resistant
surface.
2. Connect the mains plug|1 to a
properly installed and easily acces-
sible outlet whose voltage corre-
sponds to the specifications on the
rating plate. The outlet must con-
tinue to be easily accessible after
the device is plugged in.
3. Press the on/off button |3 for
approx. 2 seconds to switch the
device on. The display|5 shows
302 °F.
4. Use the +/–|4 buttons to set the
desired temperature between
212 °F and 356 °F in 18 °F steps.
LED segments moving clockwise in
the display|5 will indicate that the
device is heating up.
TIP: LED segments running counter-
clockwise indicate that the device is
cooling down. Wait until the desired
temperature appears in the display be-
fore straightening your hair.
5. In order to avoid changing the tem-
perature by accidentally pressing
the +/-|4 buttons, you can lock
these buttons.
- Press one of the
+
/
-|4
buttons for
approx. 2 seconds. The buttons
are now locked. The display|
5
shows .
- Press one of the +/-|4 buttons
again for approx. 2 seconds. The
buttons are now unlocked. The
display|5 stops showing .
6. Press the on/off button |3 for
approx. 2 seconds to switch the
device off.
7. Allow the device to cool down on
the heat-resistant surface.
Switching off automatically
If you do not press a button on the
switched-on device for 45 minutes, it
will switch off automatically. Before this
happens, the temperature display will
flash in the display|5. Press the on/off
button |3 for approx. 2 seconds to
switch the device back on.

6.2 Styling
The right temperature
~Hair can be damaged by excessive
temperature, excessively long con-
tact or too frequent straightening.
Particularly at higher temperatures,
you should not treat the same strand
of hair more than once.
• Start with the lowest temperature
that is recommended for the hair
texture to be treated.
• Increase the temperature in small
steps if the straightening process is
taking too long.
Straightening
1. Dry your hair.
2. Comb the hair well.
3. Start with the lowest temperature
that is recommended for the hair
texture to be treated (see table).
4. Separate one strand and brush it
smooth. Brush evenly from the hair-
line to the tips of the hair. Do not
stay in any one spot for too long.
Ensure that you keep a sufficient
distance from your scalp!
5. Straighten all of your hair in this
way, strand by strand.
6. Switch the device off using the on/
off button |3, and allow the
device to cool down.
7. Disconnect the mains plug|1 from
the outlet.
8. Allow the hair to briefly cool before
you treat it further e.g. with styling
or care products.
7. Cleaning

outlet before cleaning the hair
straightening brush.
~Allow the device to cool down be-
fore cleaning.
Risk of material damage
~Do not use any astringent or abra-
sive cleaning agents.
• Hairs that are tangled in the bristles
should ideally be pulled off using
your fingers.
• Clean the device regularly. Wipe
down the housing of the device with
a damp cloth.

8. Storage
Risk of material damage
~Do not wrap the cable around the
device (risk of cable damage!).
• Allow the device to cool down.
• You can use the hanging loop|2 to
safely and practically hang up the
device for storage purposes.
9. Disposal
This appliance must not be disposed of
as household garbage.
If the electrical appliance is no longer
be used, it must be handed over to the
relevant local public waste authorities
for disposal.
As a rule, these waste disposal authori-
ties run special reception units for elec-
trical appliances (recycling centers,
materials recovery centers etc.).

10. Troubleshooting
If your device fails to function as re-
quired, please try this checklist first. Per-
haps there is only a minor problem, and
you can solve it yourself.

6. Uso
Peligro de incendio
~No cubra nunca el aparato ni lo co-
loque encima de objetos blandos
(p. ej., toallas). Coloque el aparato
conectado siempre sobre una super-
ficie firme, plana y resistente al ca-
lor.
Riesgo de lesión por quemadura
~No toque el conjunto de púas con
revestimiento cerámico|6 mientras
estas estén calientes.
SUGERENCIA: Antes del primer uso,
conecte el aparato y seleccione la tem-
peratura máxima (356 °F) durante unos
minutos. Puede desprenderse un ligero
olor debido a las características de fa-
bricación. Este olor es normal y solo se
produce durante el primer uso. Procure
que la habitación esté bien ventilada.
6.1 Encendido y apagado del
aparato y ajuste de la
temperatura
1. Coloque el aparato sobre una
superficie resistente al calor.
2. Conecte el enchufe|1 a una toma
de corriente correctamente insta-
lada y fácilmente accesible y cuya
tensión cumpla con las especifica-
ciones indicadas en la placa de
características. La toma de
corriente debe seguir siendo fácil-
mente accesible tras la conexión.
3. Presione la tecla de encendido y
apagado |3 durante aprox.
2|segundos para encender el apa-
rato. En la pantalla|5 aparecerá
302 °F.
4. Ajuste la temperatura deseada
entre los 212 °F y los 356 °F en
intervalos de 18 °F por medio de
las teclas +/–|4. A continuación,
los indicadores LED activos mostra-
rán en la pantalla|5 la temperatura
actual del cepillo alisador de cabe-
llo, siguiendo el sentido de las agu-
jas del reloj.
SUGERENCIA: los indicadores LED
activos muestran el enfriamiento del
aparato en el sentido contrario de las
agujas del reloj. Espere hasta que el ce-
pillo alisador de cabello muestre en la
pantalla la temperatura deseada.
5. Para evitar cambiar la tempera-
tura presionando de manera invo-
luntaria las teclas +/–|4, es
posible bloquearlos.
- Presione durante aprox. 2 segun-

han bloqueado las teclas. En la
pantalla|5 aparecerá .
- Presione de nuevo durante
aprox. 2 segundos una de las te-
clas +/–|4. Se han desbloquea-
do las teclas. En la pantalla|5

6. Presione durante aprox. 2 segun-
dos la tecla de encendico y
apagado |3 para apagar el
aparato.
7. Deje que el aparato se enfríe sobre
una superficie resistente al calor.

Apagado automático
Si con el aparato encendido no se pre-
siona ninguna tecla durante un periodo
de 45 minutos, el cepillo alisador de
cabello se apagará automáticamente.
Antes de apagarse, el indicador de
temperatura parpadea en la panta-
lla|5. Presione la tecla de encendido y
apagado |3 durante aprox. 2 segun-
dos para volver a encender el aparato.
6.2 Moldeado
La temperatura adecuada
~Una temperatura excesiva, un con-
tacto demasiado prolongado con el
cabello o un alisado demasiado fre-
cuente pueden dañar el cabello. En
particular con temperaturas eleva-
das no trate repetidamente el mis-
mo mechón.
• Seleccione la temperatura más baja
recomendada para su tipo de cabe-
llo.
• Aumente la temperatura en peque-
ños intervalos si el alisado requiere
demasiado tiempo.
Alisado
1. Seque el cabello.
2. Peine bien el cabello.
3. Seleccione la temperatura más
baja recomendada para su tipo de
cabello (véase la tabla).
4. Separe un mechón de pelo y cepí-
llelo para alisarlo. Deslice el cepi-
llo de manera uniforme desde la
raíz hasta las puntas del cabello.
No permanezca mucho rato en un
mismo punto. ¡Procure dejar sufi-
ciente distancia al cuero cabe-
lludo!
5. Planche así, mechón a mechón,
todo el cabello.
6. Apague el aparato con la tecla de
encendido y apagado |3 y
déjelo enfriar.
7. Saque el enchufe|1 de la toma de
corriente.
8. Espere brevemente hasta que el
cabello se enfríe antes de, p. ej.,
continuar con el peinado o de utili-
zar productos para el cuidado del
