Do not short-circuit the generator. To avoid short-circuiting, keep the generator away from all
metal objects (e.g. coins, hair-pins, keys, etc.) and water.
Do not heat the generator, or dispose of it in fire, water or other liquids. Keep away from high
temperatures. Do not expose the generator to direct sunlight.

Do not disassemble or reassemble this generator.
Do not drop, place heavy objects on, or allow strong impacts to this generator.

Cold temperatures (below freezing) can affect the generator’s battery capacity. If you’ll
be operating off-grid in sub-zero conditions, we recommend you keep your generator
in an insulated cooler, and connected to a power source (solar panels). The natural
heat generated by the generator contained in an insulated cooler or insulator will keep
battery capacity at its highest.

Thank you for purchasing the Westinghouse iGen160s Portable Power Station. With
this device, you may charge your electrical or digital devices at home or on the go.
This generator offers outputs for USB, DC and AC appliances. Before using this
generator, please read the user manual carefully and properly. Keep it for reference.
The generator provides Modified Sine Wave output, and is compatible with AC
electronic appliances that require less than 100W to power. Appliances like
refrigerators, microwaves, fans, or appliances that use spinning AC motors requiring
large wattage outputs may not run properly with this generator.

Providing power for DC 12V appliances
The 5.5mm 12V DC output is plug and play. Plug your appliances to the DC output
port to power them. DC output rated Current: 10A, Max output Current <15A.
Notice: Please confirm whether your DC 12V appliance supports charging with a
5.5mm DC plug (The diameter of the DC port of the product is 5.5 mm), otherwise it is
unable to connect with the DC output. You can consult the electrical manufacturer, or
purchase a corresponding adapter. (see figure 1)
Note: The 12V DC output voltage ranges between 9V-12.6V, with a maximum
output current of <15A. DC output voltage will drop at low battery. Your appliance
may shutdown when input voltage is too low. Please unplug your appliance from the
power station and begin recharging.
Protection Mode
Short-circuit/Overload Protection: If the generator output is short-circuited or the
appliance load exceeds 150W or 100W for an extended period of time, the generator
will automatically shutdown to protect itself. If this happens, reduce the load and
restart the generator. Recharge if necessary.
Providing Power for AC Appliances
Connect the power cable plug of the electrical appliance to the AC outlet of the
power station and press the power button. (see figure 2)

This product features a built-in high quality lithium-ion battery. It has no memory
loss effect and features a high-capacity. However, we still recommend that you
opperate in the range of 50 ºF – 86 ºF in order to obtain the optimal charging
capacity.
●
When charging, in order to avoid interference, please stay away from TV, radio
and other equipment.
●
If the device has not been used for a long time, please disconnect the cable and
store properly.
●
In order to extend the life of product (lithium-ion battery), it is best to charge within
3 months, and charge at least once within 6 months.
Some devices, such as a refrigerator, ice maker, TV or a microwave may require a
surge of power to start up, this surge power could exceed 150W or higher, which could
cause the power station to overload and shut off. Please refrain from using high-
wattage appliances that could exceed the maximum output.
Connect the USB cable of the appliance to the USB power output on the power
station, press the power button “ ” to turn on the USB outputs. (see figure 3)
Notice: Some smart devices, such as Bluetooth headphones and LED lights require very small input
current to charge, which could be less than 150mA. The generator may fail to charge these kind of
smart devices due to power limitation by the USB output ports. On this occasion, press the AC button
“ ” to keep the USB port output running. Please turn off AC output when the smart devices are
fully charged to save power.
2. Charging with Solar Panel
Charging The Power Station
1. Charging through AC Wall Charger:
Using the included AC Wall Charger, plug DC end of the charger in the power
station. The input is located under the flashlight (see figure 4). Plug the AC end
into any household wall outlet. You will know the generator is charging when the
blue LED battery indicators are blinking. The generator is fully charged when all
battery indicators stop blinking and remain solid. After the generator is fully
charged, unplug the charger from the power station.
1. Place your solar panel where it will get as much direct sunlight as possible.
2. Plug the output of the solar panel into the charging input of the Power Station to
begin charging (see figure 5).You will know the generator is charging when the
blue LED battery indicator lights blink. The generator is fully charged when all
battery indicators stop blinking and remain solid.
Using the included car charger, plug the generator into a 12V cigarette lighter (car
port) in your vehicle. You will know the generator is charging when the blue LED
Battery Indicator lights blink. The generator is fully charged when all battery
indicators stop blinking and remain solid. The vehicle must be running in order to
charge the power station.
Notice: Since the output voltage from 12V car port will vary, charging speed and
time will depend on your specific vehicle.

This generator features a built-in ultra bright LED flashlight. Press the “ ” button to
switch on the flashlight and press the button again to switch to blink/SOS mode. Press
the button again to switch off.
Using the LED Flashlight
Warning! Do not point flashlight or LED light panel directly at the eyes.
This generator also features a built-in LED light panel. Press the “ ” button to switch
on the lightpanel and press the button again to adjust brightness. Press the button
again to switch off.

Gracias por comprar la estación de energía portátil Westinghouse iGen160s. Con este
dispositivo, puede cargar sus dispositivos eléctricos o digitales en casa o mientras
viaja. Este generador ofrece salidas para dispositivos USB, DC y AC. Antes de usar
este generador, lea el manual del usuario con cuidado y correctamente. Guárdelo
como referencia.

Suministro de energía para electrodomésticos DC 12V
La salida de 12V DC de 5.5 mm es plug and play. Conecte sus dispositivos al puerto
de salida de CC para alimentarlos. Corriente nominal de salida de DC: 10A,
corriente de salida máxima <15A.
Aviso: Confirme si su dispositivo DC 12V admite la carga con un enchufe de DC de
5.5 mm (el diámetro del puerto de DC del producto es de 5.5 mm), de lo contrario, no
puede conectarse con la salida de DC. Puede consultar al fabricante eléctrico o
comprar un adaptador correspondiente. (ver figura 1)
Nota: El voltaje de salida de 12V DC oscila entre 9V-12.6V, con una corriente de
salida máxima de <15A. El voltaje de salida de DC caerá con poca batería. Su
electrodoméstico puede apagarse cuando el voltaje de entrada es demasiado bajo.
Desenchufe su electrodoméstico de la estación de energía y comience a recargar.
Modo de protección
Protección contra cortocircuito / sobrecarga: si la salida de la unidad está en
cortocircuito o la carga del aparato supera los 150 W o 100 W durante un período
prolongado, la unidad se apagará automáticamente para protegerse. Si esto sucede,
reduzca la carga y reinicie el generador. Recargue si es necesario.
Suministro de energía para electrodomésticos de CA
Conecte el enchufe del cable de alimentación del electrodoméstico a la toma de CA
de la estación de energía y presione el botón de encendido. (ver figura 2)

Este producto presenta una batería de iones de litio original de alta calidad
incorporada. No tiene efecto de pérdida de memoria y presenta una alta
capacidad. Sin embargo, todavía recomendamos que opere en el rango de 50 ºF
– 86 ºF para obtener la capacidad de carga óptima.
●
Al cargar, para evitar interferencias, manténgase alejado de la televisión, la radio
y otros equipos.
●
Si el dispositivo no se ha utilizado durante mucho tiempo, desconecte el cable y
guárdelo correctamente.
●
Para prolongar la vida útil del producto (batería de iones de litio), es mejor cargar
dentro de los 3 meses y cargar al menos una vez dentro de los 6 meses.
Algunos dispositivos, como un refrigerador, una máquina de hielo, un televisor o un
microondas pueden requerir un aumento de potencia para iniciarse, este aumento de
potencia podría exceder los 150 W o más, lo que podría provocar que la estación de
energía se sobrecargue y se apague. Abstenerse de usar aparatos de alto voltaje que
puedan exceder la salida máxima.
Conecte el cable USB del dispositivo a la salida de alimentación USB en la estación
de energía, presione el botón de encendido " " para encender las salidas USB.
(ver figura 3).
Aviso: Algunos dispositivos inteligentes, como los auriculares Bluetooth y las luces LED, requieren
una corriente de entrada muy pequeña para cargarse, que podría ser inferior a 150 mA. La unidad
puede fallar al cargar este tipo de dispositivos inteligentes debido a la limitación de corriente de
detección por los puertos de salida USB. En esta ocasión, presione el botón AC " " para
mantener en funcionamiento la salida del puerto USB. Apague la salida de CA cuando los
dispositivos inteligentes estén completamente cargados para ahorrar energía.
2. Carga con panel solar
Carga de la central eléctrica
1. Carga a través del cargador de pared de CA:
Usando el cargador de pared de CA incluido, enchufe el extremo de CC del cargador
en la estación de energía. La entrada se encuentra debajo de la linterna (ver figura 4).
Conecte el extremo de CA a cualquier toma de corriente doméstica. Sabrá que la
unidad se está cargando cuando los indicadores LED azules de la batería parpadeen.
La unidad está completamente cargada cuando todos los indicadores de batería dejan
de parpadear y permanecen sólidos. Después de que la unidad esté completamente
cargada, desconecte el cargador de la estación de energía.
