Mode of Operation Switch
This model has a four-position switch for the mode of operation. It is located in the
engineer‘scab(Figure1&2).

Multi-Train System
This model has a direct decoder interface. For Multi-Train System operation. Remove
theplugonthedecoderinterfaceandconnectthedecoder(55028).
WerecommendtohavethedecodermountedbytheLGBfactoryservicestation.
Whenadecoderisintegratedinthelocomotive,thepowercontrolswitchistobsolete.
The mode of operation switch must be at Position 3 in order to activate the smoke
function in digital operation.
SERVICE
Lubrication
The axle bearings and the side rod bearings should be lubricated occasionally with a
smallamountofMärklin-Oil(7149).
Replacing the light bulbs (E130 023)
Removetheringontheoutsideofthelampglass.Carefullylifttheglassfromthe
lantern. Pull the light bulb from the socket with a pair of tweezers. Insert the new light
bulb. Put the model back together.
Replacing the traction tire (E126 174)
• Loosenthehexheadscrewonthereardrivewheelwithatractiontire.
• Removethesiderodsanddriverods.
• Useasmall,straight-bladescrewdrivertoreplacethetractiontire:Prytheold
traction tire out of the wheel groove.
• Gentlyinsertthenewtractiontireintothewheelgroove.
• Makesurethatthetractiontireisseatedproperlyinthewheelgroove.

Meertreinen-systeem
Het model is uitgevoerd met een decoderstekker voor het plaatsen van een decoder
(55028).Opdedecoderstekkerbevindtzicheenstekkerbrug.Dezestekkerbrug
verwijderen en in plaats daarvan de decoder plaatsen. Het is aan te bevelen de
decoderdoordeLGBserviceafdelingintelatenbouwen.Alsdedecoderindelocis
ingebouwd,werktdebedrijfssoortenschakelaarnietmeer.
Om de rookfunctie in het digitale bedrijf te activeren moet de bedrijfstandenscha-
kelaar in de positie 3 staan.
ONDERHOUD
Smeren
DeaslagersendelagersvandedrijfstangenafentoemeteendruppelMärklinolie
(7149)oliën.
Gloeilampen vervangen (E130 023)
de ring aan de buitenzijde van het lantaarnglas verwijderen. Voorzichtig het glas van
de lantaarn wippen. Met een pincet de defecte lamp uit de fitting trekken. Een nieuwe
lamp plaatsen. Het model weer in elkaar zetten.
Vervangen van de antislipbanden (E126 174)
• Zeskantschroefvanhetachterstedrijfwielmetdeantislipbandlosdraaien.
• Drijfstangenlosnemen.
• Meteenplatteschroevendraaierdeoudeantislipbandverwijderen;deoude
antislipband uit de gleuf in het drijfwiel wippen.
• Voorzichtigdenieuweantislipbandophetwielschuivenenindegleufvanhetwiel
plaatsen.
• Controlerenofdeantislipbandjuistisgeplaatst.

ELMANTENIMIENTO
Lubricación
LubricardevezencuandoconsendasgotasdeaceiteMärklin(7149)loscojinetesde
ejes y los cojinetes del varillaje.
Sustitución de las lámparas de incandescencia (E130 023)
Retirar el anillo exterior del cristal de la lámpara. Apalancar con cuidado el cristal del
farol y retirarlo. Extraer del portalámparas con unas pinzas la lámpara de incande-
scencia enchufada. Insertar una lámpara de incandescencia nueva. Rensamblar el
modelo en miniatura.
Sustitución del aro de adherencia (E126 174)
• Aojareltornillohexagonaldelaruedamotrizposteriorconarodeadherencia
incorporado.
• Retirarelvarillaje.
• Desmontarelarodeadherenciaantiguoconunpequeñodestornilladordehoja
plana:apalancaryextraerfueradelaacanaladura(ranura)delaruedamotrizel
aro de adherencia antiguo.
• Colocarconprecauciónelnuevoarodeadherenciasobrelaruedaeinsertarloen

Tale modello è equipaggiato con un’interfaccia da Decoder per l’inserimento del
Decoder(55028).SutaleinterfacciadaDecodersitrovaunponticello.Rimuoveretale
ponticello e collegare il Decoder in luogo di questo. Noi consigliamo di fare installare
ilDecodernelrepartoassistenzaLGB.
QuandotaleDecoderèinstallatonellalocomotiva,ilcommutatoredeltipodieserci-
zioèprivodifunzionalità.
Perattivarelafunzionalitàfumogenanell’eserciziodigitale,ilcommutatoredeltipodi
funzionamento deve trovarsi in Posizione 3.
MANUTENZIONE
Lubrificazione
Sollevare i cuscinetti degli assi e i cuscinetti dei biellismi e oliare di nuovo con una
gocciadiolioMärklin(7149)perciascuno.
Sostituzione delle lampadine (E130 023)
Rimuovere l’anello esterno al vetro della lampada. Sollevare con cautela il vetro dal
fanale.Conunapinzettaestrarredallozoccololalampadinainnestata.Innestareuna
nuova lampadina. Montare nuovamente il modello.
Sostituzione delle cerchiature di aderenza (E126 174)
• Rimuoverelaviteesagonalesullaruotemotriceposterioreconcerchiaturadi
aderenza.
• Staccareibiellismi.
• Conunpiccolocacciavitepiattorimuoverelavecchiacerchiaturadiaderenza:
sollevarelavecchiacerchiaturadiaderenzafuoridallascanalatura(solco)nella
ruota motrice.
• Farscorrereconcautelalanuovacerchiaturadiaderenzasopralaruotaeinserir-
lanellascanalatura(solco)dellaruota.
• Vericarechelacerchiaturadiaderenzasiaalloggiatacorrettamente.
