(cigarette lighter), and is only intended for

The Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM
3.0 ( ) symbol indicates
that the technology reduces
charging times for compatible devices
plugged into the red USB port of the car
charger adapter. Compatible connected
devices are recognized automatically and
supplied with the appropriate output
voltage and output current by the car
charger adapter.
The Smart Fast Charge
technology reduces
charging time significantly
for compatible devices. It automatically
sends a signal to compatible connected
devices that they are using the maximum
available charging current.
Any use other than the intended use is
considered to be improper. The device is not
intended for use in commercial or industrial
environments.
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility
for damage caused by improper use.

■ When using the device, including the
connected devices, make sure it will not
interfere with steering, braking or using

First use
► The total power consumption of all
devices connected to the two USB ports
1/2 must not exceed 5.4A. Make
sure that the power consumption of your
device is not higher than 3A when using
USB port (red) 1. When using USB port
(white) 2, the power consumption of
your device must not exceed 2.4A. For
more information, refer to your device
operating instructions.

► The maximum current output of the car
charger adapter is 5.4A. The maximum
current output of USB socket (red) 1 is
3A. The maximum current output of USB
port (white) 2 is 2.4A.
USB port (red) 1 supports the charging
standard Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM3.0
(compatible with Quick ChargeTM2.0 and
Quick ChargeTM1.0). If the connected
device is compatible with this charging
standard, it is automatically recognized by
the car charger adapter. The car charger
adapter charger provides the appropriate
output voltage or output current, so the
device can be recharged faster. Devices
without this charging standard can also be
charged normally via USB port (red) 1.

♦ Insert the car charger adapter into your
vehicle’s 12/24V port. This is generally
the on-board power socket (cigarette
lighter) on your car’s dashboard. Many
vehicles have a second port in the back
seat area or in the trunk. 24volt batteries
are used in tractor trailers or on boats, for
example.
♦ The power LED 3 lights up white,
indicating that the car charger adapter
is on. The power LED 3 lights up even
if no device is connected. Depending on
the vehicle type, the ignition may have to
be turned on first.
♦ Connect your device to the car charger
adapter. Use the original USB cable of
your device to ensure optimal charging.
♦ If necessary, turn on your connected
device for further use.

Keep an eye on the charging status on
your connected device.
♦ Disconnect your connected device from
the car charger adapter when charging
is completed.
♦ Disconnect the car charger adapter from
the on-board power socket when you no
longer need the car charger adapter.
► Never plug in the car charger adapter
without charging a device! The car
charger adapter consumes power in
standby mode, so you should disconnect
it from the on-board power socket after
use! Otherwise, it will drain your battery
if your engine is off.

Troubleshooting
A connected device does not charge
(the power LED 3 does not light up
white)
♦ No connection to on-board power
socket. Check the connection.
♦ Depending on the vehicle type, the igni-
tion may have to be turned on first.
The power LED 3 turns off after a
device is connected.
♦ The car charger adapter is overloaded
and no longer charges the connected
devices. The internal fuse tripped. Discon-
nect all connected devices from the car
charger adapter. The white power LED 3
will light up right away and the car
charger adapter is operational again.

Cleaning and storage
► Disconnect the device from the 12/24V
port before cleaning it and when it is
not in use.
► The temperatures inside the car can
reach extreme values in summer and
winter. Therefore, to prevent damage to
your vehicle, do not store the device in
the vehicle.
► Do not use caustic, abrasive, or solvent-
based cleaners. They can damage the
surfaces of the device.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the device with a
soft, dry cloth.
♦ Store the device in a dry, dust-free place,
away from direct sunlight.

Disposal
Disposal of the device
Electrical devices may not be thrown away

The warranty covers:

Primer uso
► El consumo de energía total de todos los
dispositivos conectados a los dos puertos
USB 1/2 no debe exceder de 5.4A.
Asegúrese de que el consumo de energía
de sus dispositivos no sea mayor de 3 A
cuando use el puerto USB (rojo) 1.
Cuando use el puerto USB (blanco) 2,
el consumo de energía de su dispositivo

► La máxima salida de corriente del
adaptador del cargador es 5.4A. La
máxima salida de corriente del conector
USB (rojo) 1 es 3A. La máxima salida
de corriente del puerto USB (blanco) 2
es 2.4A.
El puerto USB (rojo) 1 es compatible con
el estándar de carga Qualcomm® Quick
ChargeTM3.0 (compatible con Quick
ChargeTM2.0 y Quick ChargeTM1.0).
Si el dispositivo conectado es compatible
con este estándar de carga, el adaptador
para cargador de auto lo reconoce auto-
máticamente. El adaptador para cargador
de auto proporciona el voltaje de salida
o la corriente de salida adecuada, de
manera que el dispositivo puede volver a
cargarse más rápido. Los dispositivos que
no tienen esta estándar de carga también
pueden cargarse a través del puerto USB
(rojo) 1.

♦ Inserte el adaptador para cargador de
auto en el puerto de 12/24 V de su
vehículo. Este es generalmente el conec-
tor de energía integrado (encendedor
de cigarrillos) en el tablero de su auto.
Muchos vehículos tienen un segundo
puerto en el áreas de asientos traseros o
en la cajuela. En remolques de tractor o
en botes, por ejemplo, se usan baterías
de 24voltios.
♦ El LED de encendido 3 se ilumina en
blanco para indicar que el adaptador
para el cargador de auto está encendi-
do. El LED de encendido 3 se ilumina
incluso si no hay ningún dispositivo
conectado. Según el tipo de vehículo,
es probable que el encendido deba
activarse primero.
♦ Conecte su dispositivo en el adaptador
para cargador de auto. Use el cable
USB original de su dispositivo para
asegurar la carga óptima.

do cuando ya no necesite el adaptador
para cargador de auto.
► ¡Nunca conecte el adaptador para car-
gador de auto sin cargar un dispositivo!
El adaptador para cargador de auto
consume energía en modo de espera,
de modo que debe desconectarlo del
conector de energía integrado después
de usarlo. Si no lo hace, agotará la
batería si el motor está apagado.

Solución de problemas
Un dispositivo que está conectado no
carga (el LED de encendido 3 no se
ilumina en blanco)
♦ No hay conexión con el conector de
energía integrado. Revise la conexión.
♦ Según el tipo de vehículo, es proba-
ble que el encendido deba activarse
primero.
El LED de encendido 3 se apaga des-
pués de que se conecta un dispositivo.
♦ El adaptador para el cargador de auto
está sobrecargado y ha dejado de car-
gar los dispositivos conectados. El fusible
interno se desconectó. Desconecte todos
los dispositivos del adaptador para
cargador de auto. El LED de encendido
blanco 3 se iluminará de inmediato y
el adaptador para cargador de auto es
operativo nuevamente.

Limpieza y almacena-
miento
► Desconecte el dispositivo del puerto
12/24 V antes de limpiarlo y cuando no
esté en uso.
► Las temperaturas dentro del vehículo
pueden alcanzar niveles extremos en
verano y en invierno. Por lo tanto, para
prevenir daño a su vehículo, no guarde
el dispositivo en el vehículo.
► No use limpiadores cáusticos, abrasivos
ni a base de solventes. Estos pueden
dañar las superficies del dispositivo.
♦ Limpie las superficies del dispositivo con
una tela suave y seca.
♦ Guarde el dispositivo en un lugar seco,
libre de polvo y lejos de la luz solar
directa.
