OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for professional
use. Use on Alternating Current (60 Hz)
only. Standard appliances are designed to
operate at 120 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
These styling appliances have a special protective application and the barrel will be extremely
hot when the temperature regulator dial is set at its highest setting (50). Extra care should be
taken when using. This product may emit smoke during initial use. The smoke is not harmful
and will quickly disappear. It is only the protective application on the heating element being
burned off.
CURLING IRON BASICS
1. Plug the a ppliance into a standard electrical outlet (120V).
2. Position the temperature regulator dial to the setting that is appropriate for your hair type.
You can use the chart outlined below as a reference. The iron will heat up very quickly.

3. Section hair evenly , and comb each section before winding. Wind the iron on the hair as
far up as you want it to be curled, being careful not to let the iron touch the scalp.
4. Refer to the “Super Styling Guide” for techniques. Hold hair in place for 8-12 seconds.
5. To remove taper iron, unwind the hair. To set the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it
cools.
6. Some experimenting is necessary when first using the taper iron or when changing to a
different hairstyle.
SUPER STYLING GUIDE
Your best looks begin with a good haircut
that’s well maintained. Always treat hair
right with superior quality shampoos,
conditioners, and finishing products.
For looser, free-flowing curls, either roll a
larger section of hair or wrap hair around
the larger end of the barrel. For tighter,
bouncier curls, roll a smaller section of hair
or wrap hair around the smaller end.
By starting in different areas of the barrel,
you can create different looks.
To achieve more even, universal curls, start
at the tip of the barrel, wrapping more
hair there, decreasing the amount of hair
wrapped as you move towards the handle.

SOL-GEL TECHNOLOGY
The Sol-Gel technique is a delicate, precisely
controlled lab process that transforms
nanoscale particles of titanium and ceramic
from a liquid (SOL) to a solid (GEL) form,
resulting in a much higher concentration
of titanium and ceramic (more than 65%,
vs. less than 15% on conventional barrel
coatings). The titanium ceramic coating
is 37% harder (longer lasting and chip
resistant), less porous (chemically resistant)
and 22% smoother (reduces friction and
helps preserve the integrity of the hair).

MAINTENANCE
Your iron is virtually maintenance-free. No
lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and
openings clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the unit
from the power source, allow to cool and
wipe exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal
condition occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to
cool, and return it for repair to an authorized
service representative only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled or twisted. Never wrap the cord
around the unit. Damage will occur at
the high flex point of entry into the unit,
causing it to rupture and short circuit.
Inspect the cord frequently for damage.
Stop use immediately if damage is visible or
if unit stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to
store. Allow unit to cool, then simply put
back in the box and store out of reach of
children in safe, dry location. Do not jerk or
strain cord at plug connections.

Este aparato ha sido diseñado para uso
profesional. Úselo solamente con Corriente

El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entrara
en la toma de corriente, inviértela. Si aún
no entrara completamente, comuníquese
con un electricista. No intente ir en contra
de esta función de seguridad.
IMPORTANTE
El tubo de este aparato está cubierto con un revestimiento protector que se quemará
cuando lo use por primera vez, produciendo humo. El humo no es peligroso y se dispersará
rápidamente. El tubo se vuelve muy caliente. Manipule el aparato con sumo cuidado.

3. Divida el cabello en secciones uniformes y peine cada sección. Enrolle el cabello alrededor
del tubo hasta el nivel deseado, si permitir que el aparato toque el cuero cabelludo.
4. Consulte la sección "Guía para un súper peinado" para descubrir una variedad de técnicas
que le permitirán crear sus estilos favoritos. Mantenga el aparato en posición durante
8–12 segundos.
5. Desenrolle lentamente el cabello. Permita que el cabello enfríe antes de peinarlo para
"fijar" los rizos.
6. Será necesario experimentar un poco al principio.
GUÍA PARA UN SÚPER PEINADO
La mejor apariencia empieza por un recorte
de cabello bien mantenido. Siempre cuide
su cabello con champúes, acondicionadores
y productos de peinado de calidad superior.

Para crear rizos uniformes, enrolle más
