INSPECCIÓN EN EL MOMENTO DE ABRIR EL EMBALAJE
Al recibir el luxómetro, inspecciónelo para asegurarse de que no haya sufrido ningún daño
durante el envío. Si el usuario observa algún daño evidente o mal funcionamiento, póngase
en contacto con el proveedor.

Consideraciones durante el funcionamiento
El usuario deberá tener en cuenta las siguientes advertencias para
garantizar la seguridad durante el funcionamiento y obtener un
rendimiento óptimo.
1) Vericación preliminar
Antes de utilizar el instrumento por primera vez, verique que el luxómetro funcione normal-
mente y que no haya sufrido daños durante el transporte y el almacenamiento. En caso de
que presente daños, contacte con el proveedor
2) Colocación
-Temperatura y humedad de funcionamiento: -10~50ºC (14~122°F) <80% HR (sin conden-
sación)
-Temperatura y humedad de almacenamiento: -10~+50ºC (14~122°F) <70% HR (sin con-
densación)
Para evitar averías, NUNCA coloque el luxómetro en los siguientes entornos:
-Exposición solar directa
-Altas temperaturas
-Ambientes muy húmedos o salpicaduras
-Altos niveles de condensación
-Ambientes con polvo
-Gases corrosivos o explosivos
-Intensos campos electromagnéticos
-Vibraciones mecánicas
3) Utilización
Aviso
• La temperatura de funcionamiento del luxómetro está comprendida entre -10 y 50ºC (14
y 122°F).
• Con el n de evitar daños, especialmente accidentes por caída, se debe evitar utilizarlo
cuando haya fuertes vibraciones mecánicas.
• El luxómetro únicamente puede ser calibrado y reparado por profesionales.
• Antes de cada utilización se debe vericar que el sensor óptico no presente daños ni polvo.
Asegúrese de que el instrumento se encuentra en perfecto estado de funcionamiento. Si
una o más de las funciones del luxómetro presentan irregularidades o no están listas para
el funcionamiento, no utilice el instrumento.
• Durante el funcionamiento del luxómetro, el valor de la medición no debe estar fuera de
la escala durante demasiado tiempo.
• Mantenga el luxómetro alejado de la luz solar directa para garantizar su normal
funcionamiento y una larga vida útil.
• Si el instrumento está sometido a los efectos de un campo electromagnético intensivo,
sus funciones se verán afectadas.
• Utilice únicamente las pilas especicadas en la información técnica.
• La pilas no deben estar húmedas. Si en la pantalla aparece el símbolo de batería baja, el
usuario deberá sustituir las pilas.
Consejos
• La sensibilidad del detector óptico se verá afectada por las condiciones o el tiempo
de funcionamiento. Se recomienda realizar una calibración periódica para mantener la
precisión básica.
• Le rogamos que conserve el embalaje original para posibles futuros envíos por correo
(por ejemplo, para la calibración del luxómetro).

Servicio técnico
Aviso
Cuando el instrumento aparentemente falle durante el funcionamiento, se deberán seguir los
pasos indicados a continuación para localizar el problema causante de la avería:
1) Compruebe la pila. Si aparece el símbolo “ ” en la pantalla, se deberá sustituir la pila.
2) Consulte las instrucciones para comprobar si está manejando del instrumento de un modo
incorrecto.
3) Antes de enviar el instrumento al fabricante para su reparación, el usuario deberá extraer
la pila y describir detalladamente los fallos, así como embalar debidamente el instrumento
para evitar daños durante el transporte. Nuestra empresa no asumirá ninguna responsabili-
dad por los daños causados por la modicación del instrumento.
4) La reparación del instrumento deberá ser llevada a cabo por centros de servicio técnico
o personal cualicado.
Limpieza
En primer lugar, limpie el instrumento con un paño suave humedecido con agua limpia o de-
tergente neutro. A continuación séquelo utilizando paño.
Aviso
• Asegúrese de que el luxómetro está apagado antes de limpiarlo.
• No utilice benceno, alcohol, acetona, éter etílico, cetonas, disolventes, gasolina, etc. para
efectuar la limpieza, ya que el luxómetro podría verse alterado.
• Tras la limpieza, el luxómetro sólo se podrá volver a utilizar una vez que esté
completamente seco.
•
Sustitución de la pila
• Si en la pantalla aparece el símbolo de la batería acompañado por un sonido del avisador,
será necesario sustituir la pila.
• La pila se deberá cambiar del siguiente modo:
- Apague el instrumento
- Quite el tornillo de la parte posterior del instrumento y abra la tapa del compartimen-
to de la pila
- Retire la pila gastada
- Coloque la pila nueva respetando la polaridad
- Vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimento y apriete el tornillo.
Advertencia
Preste atención a la polaridad correcta de la pila al colocarla o sustituirla. En caso de
que la polaridad esté invertida, el instrumento resultará dañado, pudiendo producirse
incluso explosiones o fuego. No conecte la polaridad de una pila con la de otra por me-
dio de un cable, ni arroje las pilas al fuego, ya que provocará una explosión. ¡No intente
desmontar la pila! El electrolito alcalino de la pila es corrosivo y puede poner en peligro
al usuario. En caso de que el electrolito entre en contacto con la piel o las prendas de
vestir, aclare inmediatamente las partes que hayan estado en contacto con agua lim-
pia. En caso de que el electrolito haya estado contacto con los ojos, aclárelos inmedi-
atamente con agua y acuda a un médico.
Aviso
• El luxómetro deberá estar apagado antes de sustituir la pila.
• Utilice únicamente la pila indicada en la información técnica.
• Si el instrumento no se va a utilizar durante un largo periodo de tiempo, extraiga la pila. En
caso de que el instrumento esté contaminado por una fuga de la pila, deberá ser enviado
al fabricante para su limpieza y vericación.
• Para eliminar las pilas usadas, siga las indicaciones existentes para el reciclaje, la
reutilización y el tratamiento de las pilas.
Intervalo de calibración
Con el n de garantizar la precisión del instrumento, nuestro personal deberá realizar una
calibración periódica. Se recomienda efectuar una calibración anual. Si el instrumento tiene
un uso frecuente o se utiliza en entornos difíciles, el intervalo de calibración se deberá acor-
tar en función de ello. Si el instrumento se utiliza poco, el intervalo de calibración se puede
prolongar hasta los tres años.

Upon reception of the light meter, inspect it to ensure no damage
happened during shipping. If the user nds obvious damage or
malfunction in operation, please contact the supplier.

Operation considerations
User should observe the following notices to guarantee safe operation and obtain optimum
performance.
1) Preliminary check
Before initial use, please check if the light meter operates normally and if it is damaged du-
ring storage and transportation. In case of any damage, please contact the supplier.
2) Placement
- Operational temperature and humidity range: -10ºC~50ºC (14~122°F) <80%RH (non-con-
densed)
- Storage temperature and humidity range: -10ºC~+50ºC (14~122°F) <70%RH (non-con-
densed)
To avoid faults, please DO NOT place the light meter in following environments:
- Direct sunlight
- High temperature
- Mist /splash
- High temperature/condensation
- Dust
- Corrosive or explosive gas
- Intensive electromagnetic environment
- Mechanical vibration
3) Use
Notice
• The operation temperature range for the light meter is -10 and +50ºC (14-122°F).
• In order to avoid damage, especially falling accidents, handling and use should be avoided
during severe mechanical vibration.
• The light meter can only be calibrated and repaired by professional personnel.
• Before each use, the opto-sensor of light meter should be checked for damage and dust.
Make sure the meter is in good, smooth and clean conditions. If one or more functions of
the light meter are irregular or not ready for operation, avoid using the meter.
• During the operation of the light meter, the meter measurement value should not be at
OL for long time.
• Keep the meter out of direct sunlight to guarantee its normal operation and long-term
service life.
• If the meter is subject to eect of intensive electromagnetic eld, its functions will be
aected.
• Only use batteries specied in technical data.
• Batteries should avoid damp. If the low battery symbol appears on the display, the user
should replace batteries.
Tips
• The sensibility of the optical detector will be lessened due to operation conditions or time.
It is recommended to make periodic calibration to maintain the basic accuracy.
• Please keep original package for future mailing (such as for light meter calibration).
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Service
Notice
When the meter seemingly fails during operation, following steps should be followed to check
the fault problem:
1) Check up batteries. If “ ” appears on the LCD display, batteries should be replaced.
2) Refer to the operation instructions to check if operation steps are wrong.
3) Before sending the meter to manufacturer for repair, the user should remove out the bat-
teries and describe faults in details, and pack the meter to avoid damages in transportation.
Our company will assume no responsibility for damages in transformation.
4) Repair on the meter should be performed by service centres or other qualied servicemen.
Cleaning
First wipe the meter with a damp soft cloth with clean water or neutral detergent and then
with a dry cloth.
Notice
• Please make sure the light meter is turned o before cleaning.
• Do not use benzene, alcohol, acetone, ethyl ether, ketones, thinners and gasoline, etc. in
cleaning, because they will transform or fade the light meter.
• The light meter can only be used again when it is completely dry after cleaning.
Battery replacement
• If the battery symbol appears on the LCD accompanied by buzzer alarm, batteries must
be replaced.
• Batteries should be replaced as follow:
- Turn o the meter
- Remove the screw on the back of the meter and open the battery compartment
- Remove exhausted batteries
- Replace new batteries observing polarity
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure the compartment screw..
Warning
Do pay attention to the right polarity of battery when putting in or replacing batteries. In
case of polarity reversal, the light meter will be damaged, and can even cause explo-
sion or re. Neither connects one polarity of the battery to the other one with wire, nor
throws batteries into re, or it will cause
explosion. Do not attempt to discompose the battery! The battery’s intensively alkaline
electrolyte is corrosive and dangers the user. In case of contact of the electrolyte with
skin or clothes, immediately rinse touched parts with clean water. In case of contact of
the electrolyte with eyes, immediately
rinse eyes with clean water and seek medical advice.
Notice
• The light meter should be turned o before replacing batteries.
• Use batteries specied in technical data only.
• If the meter is not to be used for a long time, take out the batteries.
• In case the meter is polluted due to battery leak, the meter should be sent by post to the
manufacturer for cleaning and checking.
• For disposal of used batteries, follow existing specications on battery recycling, reuse
and treatment.
Calibration Interval
In order to ensure the accuracy of the meter, periodic calibration should be performed by our
debugging personnel. It is recommended to make calibration every year. If the meter is in fre-
quent use or used in poor environments, the calibration interval should be accordingly shor-
ten. If the meter is less used, the calibration interval may prolong to three years.
