Storage
♦ Store the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, away from direct sunlight.
♦ If the appliance has been stored for a longer period, the built-in battery
should be charged fully to extend its service life. Regularly recharge the
built-in battery when out of use for longer periods. This is necessary to
preserve the battery.
Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
Electrical appliances may not be thrown away as part of normal household
trash. If you can no longer use your electrical appliance, dispose of it in
accordance with the legal provisions applicable in your state. This will ensure
that old electrical appliances are recycled and environmental pollution is
kept to a minimum. Further information about disposal is available on the
Internet at www.epa.gov.
The built-in battery in this appliance cannot be removed for disposal.
Disposal of the packaging
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw
materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in
accordance with applicable local regulations.
Note the marking on the different packaging materials and
separate them as necessary. The packaging materials are
marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following
meanings: 1–7: Plastics, 20–22: Paper and cardboard,
80–98: Composites.
Handling and operation
On/Off and setting the speed
♦ Press the button 6 to turn the fan on at a low speed. The Power LED 1
lights up blue.
♦ Press the button 5 repeatedly to switch between the three speeds
(low, medium, high).
♦ Press the button 6 again to turn off the fan.
The Power LED 1 turns off.
Turning the LED lights on/off
Both of the rotor blades 4 on the fan feature integrated LED lights.
The LED lights are not suited to illuminate rooms in your household!
♦ Press the button 2 once to turn on the LED lights in changing RGB
colors.
♦ Press the button 2 twice to turn on the white LED lights.
♦ Press the button 2 again to turn off the LED lights.
Cleaning
►Ensure that no moisture penetrates into the appliance during cleaning
to avoid irreparable damage to the appliance.
►Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. They can damage
the surfaces of the appliance.
►Never open the housing of the appliance. The appliance does not contain
any parts to be maintained or replaced by the user.
♦ Clean the exterior of the fan with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
♦ If necessary, you can dust off the rotor blades 4 using a thin brush.
Note that the protective grill3 cannot be removed for this purpose.
