NOTE: The surface of the S T R I K E P L A T E with " S A U D E R " should be facing up. 408726 www.sauder.com/services P a g e 15 Carefully stand your unit upright. insert the remaining PIVOT HINGE ( X ) into the WASHER ( Y ) and into the BOTTOIVl(l). insert the PIVOT HINGE, which is tastened to the DOOR (N), into the hole in the S H E L F (H3). You will need to tilt your DOOR slightly. Now, tip the DOOR in and fasten the free HINGE to the DOOR. Use a BROWN 7/16" L A R G E H E A D S C R E W (HH). Fasten the H A N D L E (Z) to the DOOR (N). Use two B L A C K 7/8" F L A T H E A D S C R E W S (FF). NO'FE: 'Fo make adjustments to the DOOR, loosen the S C R E W in the HINGE, make needed adjustments, and tighten the SCREW. Turn the C O R D C L I P ( A A ) into the K E Y B O A R D S H E L F (M). NOTE: The C O R D C L I P is used to hold your keyboard cord against the K E Y B O A R D S H E L F . 408726 w w w . s a uder. c o m / s e r v i c e s Page To insert the K E Y B O A R D S H E L F (M) into your unit, tip the front of the shelf down and drop the rollers on the shelf behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the shelf up and slide it into the unit. Push a C A M C O V E R ( B B ) onto each HIDDEN C A M . Cover the visible S C R E W S with a S C R E W C O V E R (CC). Center a C O V E R over the head of each SCREW and press firmly. NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. Look out for: What can happen: How to avoid the problem: • Overloaded shelves and drawers. • Improper loading can cause the product to be top-heavy. • Risk of injury. • Top-heavy furniture can tip over. • Overloaded shelves and drawers can break. • Never exceed the weight limits shown in the instructions. • Work from bottom to top when loading shelves and drawers. Place the heavier items on the lower shelves or in lower drawers. • Improperly moving furniture that is not designed and equipped with casters. • Furniture can tip over or break if improperly moved. • Physical injury. Furniture can be very heavy. • Breakage of tops - particularly with double pedestal furniture (drawers at both ends). • Unload shelves and drawers from top to bottom before moving the unit. • Do not push furniture, especially on a carpeted floor. Have a friend help you lift the item and set it in place. • Provide support to the center section of the top when lifting the furniture. • Placing T V s on furniture items that are not designed to support a television is hazardous. • Risk of injury or death. T V s can be very heavy. Plus the weight and location of the picture tube tends to make T V s unbalanced and prone to tipping forward. • This product is not designed to support a television.
