OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USING THE HEATING PAD
Remove the contents from the box. Attach the AC power cable to the power jack on
the heating pad. Plug the cable into a 110-120V AC wall outlet. Press the ON/OFF
button on the controller to turn the heat on Low. The LED indicator will display the
current heat level. Continue to press the ON/OFF button to increase the heat level
up to Medium and High. Press the ON/OFF button again back to the Low setting. To
turn off, press and hold ON/OFF button until all lights turn off. For maximum benet,
use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time.
NOTE: The heat will automatically turn off after 1 hour and the green LED indicator
will ash continuously. To reactive heating pad, press the ON/OFF button once. To
turn off, press and hold the ON/OFF button.
If the controller gets disconnected from the unit during use, you must unplug the
cord from the outlet, reconnect the controller to the unit, and then plug the cord
back into the outlet to resume use. If you do not unplug from the power outlet, the
red LED indicator light will ash and the heating pad will not work properly.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
NEVER dry-clean or use bleach. Disconnect ALL CORDS before washing. NEVER
submerge cord or control unit. Place textile portion without cords in the washing
machine.
HAND-WASHING (Recommended)
Washing this item by hand will result in a much longer product-life than using a ma-
chine. Disconnect all cord(s) and wash the textile separately by hand in lukewarm
(100°F) water, using a small amount of mild laundry detergent. Soak for 5 minutes,
then gently work the textile up and down for more than 5 minutes. NEVER rub or
scrub the textile. Rinse thoroughly in cool water until all traces of detergent are
gone. Squeeze excess water out by hand, NEVER twist. DO NOT use a wringer.
MACHINE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash by hand or as follows in an automatic washer using slow agitation and
normal spin speed: Fill washer with warm water. Add minimum amount of
all-purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve, measure heating pad before washing.
Add heating pad and soak 5 minutes. Agitate 2 minutes. Spin. Fill for cool rinse,
agitate 1 minute, then spin.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
NEVER use commercial dryers at the laundromat, as they may be extra hot and
could damage the wiring of the product. DO NOT iron. DO NOT plug in until
completely dry.
To machine dry, place in automatic dryer on high heat for only 5 minutes then line
dry (recommended). To completely dry, place item in a dryer on low heat and
allow to tumble until dry. Ensure that the textile has enough room to tumble freely.
If product draws during washing, gently stretch it while it is still damp until it
returns to its original size. DO NOT iron your heating pad.
To line dry, simply drape the item over two parallel clotheslines or a shower rod.
DO NOT reconnect the item until it is completely dry. DO NOT use clothespins,
as they can pinch the wires.
STORAGE
Unplug and store this item as you would any other heating pad, folded, and in a
dry place.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO DE LA ALMOHADILLA TÉRMICA
Saque el contenido de la caja. Conecte el cable de alimentación al conector en el
costado de la almohadilla térmica. Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente 110–120V
AC. Oprima el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS en el control para encender la unidad a baja
temperatura; el indicador LED mostrará el nivel de calor. Oprima repetidamente el botón
ON/OFF SETTINGS para aumentar la temperatura. Después de presionar el botón
ON/OFF SETTINGS tres veces, la temperatura volverá a “LOW” (bajo). Para apagar la
unidad, mantenga oprimo el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS hasta que todas las luces se
apaguen. Para sacar el máximo provecho de este producto, no lo use por más de 30
minutos a la vez.
NOTA: El calor se apagará automáticamente después de 60 minutos, y el indicador
luminoso verde parpadeará. Para reactivar la almohadilla, oprima el botón ON/OFF
SETTINGS. Para apagar, mantenga oprimido el botón ON/OFF.
Si el control se desconecta de la unidad durante el uso, deberá desenchufar el cable de

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA

de tela (sin cables) en la lavadora.
LAVADO A MANO (recomendado)
Lavar este producto a mano resultará en una vida útil mucho más larga que si se lava a
máquina. Desconecte todos los cables y lave la parte de tela por separado a mano en
agua tibia (100 °F/38 °C), usando una pequeña cantidad de detergente suave para ropa.
Remoje por 5 minutos, luego mueva suavemente la parte de tela hacia arriba y abajo
por más de 5 minutos. NUNCA frotes o restriegues la parte de tela. Enjuague bien en
agua fría hasta que no quede ningún rastro de detergente. Exprima el exceso de agua
suavemente con la mano. NUNCA tuerza la funda. NO use un escurridor.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LAVADO A MÁQUINA
Lave la funda a mano o como sigue en una lavadora automática usando
agitación lenta y velocidad normal: Llene la lavadora con agua tibia. Añada
una cantidad mínima de detergente multiusos y agite el agua para disolverlo.
Mida la almohadilla térmica antes de lavarla. Coloque la parte de tela de la
almohadilla en el agua y permita que se remoje por 2 minutos. Agite por 2
minutos. Centrifugue. Llene la máquina con agua fría para enjuagar, agite por 1
minuto, y luego centrifugue.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SECADO
NUNCA use secadoras comerciales (en la lavandería), ya que producen aire
muy caliente y pueden dañar el cableado del producto. NO la planche. NO la
enchufe hasta que esté completamente seca.
Coloque en una secadora automática y seque a alta temperatura por solamente
5 minutos; luego cuelgue para terminar se secar (recomendado). Para secar
completamente en la secadora, seque a baja temperatura hasta que esté
seca. Cerciórese de que hay suficiente espacio en la secadora para que la
almohadille mueva libremente. Si la almohadilla se encoge durante el lavado,
estírela suavemente mientras esté aún húmeda hasta que vuelva a su tamaño
original. NO planche la almohadilla térmica.
Para colgar para secar, cuelgue la almohadilla en dos tendederos paralelos
o en una barra de ducha NO vuelva a conectar la almohadilla hasta que esté
completamente seca. NO use pinzas para ropa, ya que pueden pellizcar los
cables.
ALMACENAJE
Desenchufe la almohadilla y guárdela doblada, en un lugar seco.

El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más

MOIST HEAT TREATMENT
1. Ensure heating pad is unplugged.
2. Spray water on the surface of the fabric for moist heat treatment.
3. Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
4. Push the ON/OFF button; the power indicator light will illuminate to signal that
the heating pad is at Low setting. Press the Settings button to choose among
Low, Medium and High levels.
5. Place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.
6. When treatment is done, press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn unit off and
unplug.
For maximum benefit, use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time.
7. After use, dry the cloth cover and the heating pad before storing.
NOTE: This heating pad has a 60-minute auto-off feature. During use, check skin
under heating pad frequently. Do not leave heating pad unattended.

TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR HÚMEDO
1. Cerciórese de que la almohadilla está apagada.
2. Rocíe agua en la funda de tela.
3. Enchufe la unidad en una toma de corriente de 120 V AC.
4. Oprima el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS; el indicador luminoso se encenderá para
indicar que la almohadilla se está calentando. Oprima repetidamente el botón
ON/OFF SETTINGS para elegir el ajuste de calor deseado: bajo (LOW), medio
(MED) o alto (HIGH).
5. Coloque la almohadilla sobre el área que desea tratar.
6. Después de terminar, mantenga oprimido el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS para
apagar la unidad, y luego desenchufe el cable. Para sacar el máximo provecho
de este producto, no lo use por más de 30 minutos a la vez.
