Intended use
These headphones are a consumer electronics
device. They have been designed to play music. The
device must only be connected to devices with an
appropriate headphone socket for a 0.14 “/3.5 mm
jack-type connector. It is suitable only for private use,
not for industrial or commercial purposes. The device
may also not be used in tropical climates. The
manufacturer is not liable for any damage or
problems caused by unauthorized modifications.

These operating instructions
Remove the headphones and all the accessories
from the packaging. Remove the packaging material
and check that all components are complete and
undamaged. If you find anything missing or
damaged, please contact the manufacturer.
These operating instructions have a fold-out cover.
On the inside of the cover is a diagram of the
headphones with the components numbered. The
meanings of the numbers are as follows:

The SilverCrest SKM 10 C1 headphones are
available in 7 different designs. The only difference is
the styling of the earphones. Setup, operation, etc. is
identical for all of them. Figure A shows the different
designs available.

Getting started
Using the headphones
Set the volume of the playback device to the lowest
level before connecting the headphones in order to
avoid damaging your hearing. You can then set the
volume to the level you want.
You can use the headphones with playback devices
that have a 0.14 “/3.5 mm jack. Plug the 0.14 “
/3.5 mm jack-type connector [2] into the
corresponding jack on your playback device. Set the
volume you want on the playback device.
Use the earpiece labeled "L" in your left ear and the
earpiece labeled "R" in your right one.

Inserting the headphones
Carefully place one of the earpieces into your ear.
To make insertion easier, you can straighten your ear
slightly by pulling the outer ear gently back and up.
Proceed with the second earpiece in the same way.

Removing the headphones
Never pull the headphones on the cable. Grasp the
housing only to remove the headphones. Carefully
pull the headphones from your ear.
If an ear pad gets stuck in the ear during removal,
do not use any aids or tools for removal. Please
consult with a specialist doctor (audiologist)!

Replacing the ear pads
The medium ear pads [1] are fitted by default. If the
ear pads do not fit correctly, you can replace them.
Proceed as follows:
Carefully pull the ear pads off the earpiece by
using your fingers.
Select either the (large) [3] or (small) [4] ear pads
and push them over the earpiece until they slide
into the recess.

Troubleshooting
No sound
Check the volume set on the playback device.
Increase the volume and/or start playback.
Make sure that the 0.14 “/3.5 mm jack-type
connector [2] is properly inserted into the audio
jack.
Sound output on one side only
Check the stereo balance setting on the playback
device.
Make sure that the 0.14 “/3.5 mm jack-type
connector [2] is properly inserted into the audio
jack.

Maintenance
The device does not contain any parts that require
maintenance. Do not attempt to open the housing of
the device, as this will void your warranty.
Cleaning
To clean the headphones use a slightly damp cloth.
Never use any solvents or cleaners that may
damage the plastic. Make sure that no liquid gets
into the housing.
To clean the ear pads, remove them.

Clean the ear pads under running water.
Dry the ear pads properly.

Once the ear pads are completely dry, put them
back on the earpieces.
Storage when not in use
If the headset is not to be used for an extended
period, store it in a clean, dry and cool place.

disposal
Disposal of packaging
Sort the packaging prior to disposal. Dispose of the
packaging local utility company.
Disposal of used devices
Do not dispose of used devices together with
household waste! If at any time in the future you
should not use these headphones anymore, please
dispose of them in compliance with the applicable
regulation in your state or country. This ensures
professional recycling of used devices and excludes
negative consequences for the environment.

What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:

Forma de empezar
El uso de los audífonos
Ajuste el volumen del aparato a su nivel más bajo
antes de conectar los audífonos, para así evitar
daños a su sentido de audición. Después usted podrá
ajustar el volumen al nivel que desee.
Usted puede usar los auriculares en aparatos de
reproducción que tengan un conector de 3.5 mm/

Con cuidado, coloque uno de los audífonos en su

Forma de quitarse los audífonos
Para quitarse los audífonos, sujételos del cuerpo del
auricular pero nunca del cable. Con cuidado saque
los audífonos de su oído.
Si alguna almohadilla de oído queda atrapada
dentro del oído al querer quitarla, no debe utilizar
herramientas para removerla. Debe consultar un
médico especialista (Audiólogo).

Procedimiento de reemplazo de las
almohadillas
Las almohadillas de tamaño mediano [1] son las que
vienen instaladas de fábrica. Si las almohadillas no
son del tamaño adecuado, se pueden reemplazar.
Debe proceder de la siguiente manera:
Con los dedos, cuidadosamente tire de las
almohadillas.
Seleccione ya sea las almohadillas (grandes) [3] o
las (pequeñas) [4], y colóquelas a presión
empujándolas en el auricular hasta que se deslicen
en el espacio.

Resolución de problemas
No hay sonido

Mantenimiento
El aparato no contiene piezas que requieren
mantenimiento. No intente abrir la carcasa del
