Este multímetro es un instrumento portátil que posee una gran pantalla LCD, así como
retroiluminación de la pantalla para facilitar la lectura de las mediciones. La rueda selectora
está diseñada para su utilización con una sola mano, facilitando la operación. Se provee
con protección frente a sobrecargas e indicación de batería baja. Es un instrumento
multifuncional ideal para decenas de aplicaciones prácticas en los ámbitos profesional,
educativo o doméstico.
El multímetro está diseñado para combinar las funciones de medición de nivel sonoro,
luminosidad, humedad y temperatura con las propias de un multímetro digital. El instrumento
puede ser usado para medir tensión AC y DC, corriente AC y DC, resistencia, frecuencia,
ciclo de trabajo y capacidad, así como comprobar continuidad y diodos.
INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD

SEA EXTREMADAMENTE CUIDADOSO AL UTILIZAR ESTE MULTÍMETRO. El uso
inapropiado del equipo puede ocasionar descargas eléctricas o la destrucción del
multímetro. Tome las precauciones habituales y siga todas las indicaciones de seguridad
sugeridas en este manual. Para hacer un uso completo de la funcionalidad del multímetro
y garantizar un uso seguro, por favor lea atentamente y siga las indicaciones del manual.
El multímetro digital ha sido diseñado de acuerdo a las normas de seguridad eléctricas
internacionales EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, 61010-2-30 y 61010-2-033 relativas a los
requerimientos de seguridad para instrumentos electrónicos de medida. El equipo cumple
en instalaciones CAT III 600V y un grado de contaminación 2.
Siga todas las instrucciones de seguridad y funcionamiento para garantizar un uso seguro
del multímetro.
Realizando un uso y cuidados apropiados, este multímetro le proporcionará años de
servicio satisfactorio.
INFORMACIÓN PRELIMINAR
• Al utilizar el multímetro, el usuario debe tener en cuenta todas las normas de seguridad
referentes a:
1) Protección general frente a descargas eléctricas.
2)Protección del multímetro frente a un uso indebido.
• Al recibir el multímetro, compruebe si ha sufrido daños durante el transporte.
• Si ha sido almacenado y transportado en condiciones extremas, debe comprobar si el
multímetro está dañado.
• Los cables de prueba deben mantenerse en buenas condiciones. Antes de la utilización,
compruebe si el aislamiento de los cables está dañado o si cualquiera cable ha quedado
al descubierto.
• Utilice los cables de prueba suministrados para garantizar la seguridad en las operaciones.
Si fuese necesario, deben ser cambiados por cables del mismo modelo o clase.
NORMAS DE USO
• Utilice la función, la escala y los terminales de entrada correctos.
• No realice mediciones que excedan los valores límites de protección indicados en las
especicaciones.
• No toque las puntas de metal de los cables de prueba cuando el multímetro esté
conectado al circuito a comprobar.
• Mantenga sus dedos detrás de las barreras protectoras de las puntas de prueba al
realizar mediciones con una tensión efectiva por encima de 60V DC o 30V AC rms.
• No realice mediciones de tensión si el valor entre los terminales y tierra exceden los
600V.
• Si desconoce el valor a medir, seleccione la escala más alta en el modo manual de
medición.
• No conecte el multímetro a una fuente de tensión mientras la rueda selectora esté en las
posiciones de corriente, resistencia, capacidad, diodo o continuidad.
• Desconecte los cables de prueba del circuito a comprobar antes de girar la rueda
selectora para cambiar la función.
• Tenga cuidado ya que los pulsos de alta tensión al comprobar el circuito de alimentación
de aparatos de televisión podrían dañar el multímetro.
• No mida resistencia, capacidad, diodos o continuidad de circuitos activos.
• No realice mediciones de capacidad hasta que el condensador haya sido totalmente
descargado.
• No utilice el multímetro cerca de gases explosivos, vapor o suciedad.
• Deje de utilizar el multímetro si observa cualquier fallo o funcionamiento anormal.
• No utilice el multímetro a menos que la tapa trasera esté correctamente jada en su
posición original.
• No almacene o utilice el multímetro en zonas expuestas a luz solar directa, a altas
temperaturas o con una humedad relativa elevada.

• Antes de abrir la tapa de las pilas, desconecte siempre los cables de prueba de los circuitos
a prueba.
• Para evitar cualquier descarga eléctrica ocasionada por lecturas erróneas, cambie la pila
inmediatamente cuando el símbolo aparezca en la pantalla.
• Para evitar riesgos de incendio los fusibles deben ser sustituidos por otros que cumplan con
las especicaciones de tensión y corriente de F1 400mA/600V, F2 10A/600V
• Utilice un trapo húmedo y detergente suave para limpiar el multímetro. No utilice abrasivos
o disolventes.
• Gire la rueda selectora a la posición OFF para desconectar la alimentación cuando el
multímetro no se esté utilizando.
• Retire las pilas para evitar daños en el multímetro si va a permanecer inactivo durante un
periodo prolongado.
SUSTITUCIÓN DE LAS PILAS
Advertencia
Antes de abrir la tapa de las pilas del multímetro asegúrese de retirar los cables de
prueba del circuito a medir para evitar riesgos de descarga eléctrica.
Advertencia
No mezcle pilas nuevas y descargadas. No mezcle pilas alcalinas, estándar (carbono-
zinc) o recargables (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc)
• Cuando se muestra el símbolo “ ” en pantalla, se deben sustituir las pilas
inmediatamente.
• Aoje el tornillo de jación de la tapa de las pilas y retírela.
• Remplace las pilas agotadas por unas nuevas.
• Fije la tapa de las pilas de nuevo en su posición original.
Nota:
No invierta la polaridad de las pilas.
SUSTITUCIÓN DE LOS FUSIBLES
Advertencia
Antes de abrir la tapa de las pilas del multímetro asegúrese de retirar los cables de
prueba del circuito a medir para evitar descargas eléctricas.
Para evitar la posibilidad de incendio, sustituya los fusibles por otros con las mismas
especicaciones: FF400mA/600V, FF10A/600V (actuación rápida)
• Los fusibles raramente necesitan ser sustituidos. Normalmente cuando se funden se
debe a una utilización incorrecta del multímetro.
• Aoje el tornillo de jación de la tapa de las pilas y retírela.
• Sustituya el fusible antiguo por uno nuevo de las mismas especicaciones.
• Fije la tapa de las pilas de nuevo en su posición original.
SUSTITUCIÓN DE LOS CABLES DE PRUEBA
Sustituya los cables de prueba si están dañados o desnudos.
Advertencia
Utilice cables de prueba que cumplan con la normativa EN61010-031, con calicación
CAT III 600V o superior.

The meter is a portable professional measuring instrument with a large digital LCD, as
well as a backlight source for easy reading. The range selector designed for a single-hand
operation makes measurement easy. Overload protection and low battery indication are
provided, It is an ideal multi-functional instrument with scores of practical applications for
professional, factory, school, amateur and home use.
The meter has been designed to combine functions of sound level, luminance, humidity
and temperature meters, as well as a digital multimeter. The instrument can be used to
measure DC and AC voltage and current, resistance, frequency, duty, capacitance, as well
as continuity and diode test.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Warning
BE EXTREMELYCAREFULWHEN USING THE METER. lmproper use of this device can
result in electric shock or destruction of the meter. Take all normal safety precautions and
follow the safeguards suggested in this manual.
To exploit full functionality of the meter and ensure safe operation, please read carefully
and follow the directions in this manual.
The multimeter has been designed according to International Electro safety standards EN/
UL/CSA
61010-1, 61010-2-030, 61010-2-033 concerning safety requirements for electronic
measuring instruments. It meets CAT III 600V installations and a pollution degree of 2.
Follow all safety and operation instructions to ensure safe use of the meter.
With proper use and care, the meter will give you years of satisfactory service.
PRELIMINARY
• When using the meter, the user must observe all normal safety rules concerning:
1) General protection against electric shock
2)Protection of the meter against misuse
• When the meter is delivered, check whether it has been damaged in transit.
• After being stored and delivered under harsh conditions, the meter should be checked and
confirmed whether any damages have been incurred
• Test leads must be kept in good condition. Before using check whether the insulation on
test leads has been damaged and any wire has been exposed.
• Use the test leads supplied to ensure operation safety. If required, they must be replaced
with test leads of the same model or class.
DOS AND DON´TS
• Use the right input jack, function and range.
• Do not take measurements that exceed the protection limit values indicated in the
specifications.
• Do not touch the metal tips of the test leads when the meter is connected to the circuit
to be measured.
• Keep your fingers behind the probe barriers when taking a measurement with an effective
voltage above 60V DC or 30V rms AC.
• Do not take any voltage measurement if the value between the terminals and earth
ground exceeds 600V.
• Select the highest range if the value scale to be measured in the manual range is
unknown.
• Do not connect the meter to any voltage source while the rotary selector is in the current,
resistance, capacitance, diode or continuity range.
• Disconnect the test leads from the circuit under test before turning the rotary selector to
change functions.
• Be careful in that high voltage pulses at the test point may damage the meter when
measurements are being taken on the circuit of TV switch power.
• Do not measure the resistance, capacitance, diode or continuity of live circuits.
• Do not take capacitance measurements until the capacitor to be measured has been
fully discharged.
• Do not use the meter near explosive gases, steam or dirt.
• Stop using the meter if any abnormalities or faults are observed.
• Do not use the meter unless its rear case is securely fastened in its original position.
• Do not store or use the meter in areas exposed to direct sunlight, at high temperatures
or with high relative humidity.
MAINTENANCE
• Do not attempt to remove the rear case to adjust or repair the meter. Such actions should
only be performed by a technician who fully understands the meter and the danger involved.
• Disconnect the test leads from all sources of electric current before opening the battery
cover of the meter.
• To avoid any electric shock caused by error readings, replace the batteries immediately
when the sign appears on the display.
• To avoid fire hazards, the replacement fuse must meet the specified voltage and current at

Do not mix old new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.
• If the sign “ ” appears, it means that the batteries should be replaced.
• Loosen the fixing screw of the battery cover and remove it
• Replace the exhausted batteries with new ones.
• Put the battery cover back and fix it again to its origin form
Note:
Do not reverse the poles of the batteries.
REPLACING FUSE
Warning
To avoid electrical shock, make sure that the test leads have been clearly move away
from the circuit under measurement before opening the battery cover of the meter.
For protection against fire hazard, replace fuses with specifies ratings only:
FF400mA/600V, FF10A/600V (quick acting)
• Fuses rarely need replacement. Almost all blows are the result of operation errors.
• Loosen the fixing screw of the battery cover and remove it
• Replace the blown fuse with one at the specified rating
• Put the battery cover back and fix it again to its original form
REPLACING TEST LEADS
Replace test leads if leads become damaged or worn.
Warning
Use meet EN61010-031 standard, rated CAT.III 600V, or better test leads.

• Use damp cloth and mild detergent to clean the meter; do not use abrasives or solvents.
• Turn the rotary selector to OFF position to switch off the power when the meter is not in use.
• Remove the batteries to avoid damages to the meter if it will idle for a long time.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
Warning
To avoid electric shock, make sure that the test leads have been clearly move away from
the circuit under measurement before opening the battery cover of the meter.
