phones for long periods and at high volume
levels can lead to hearing damage. Always start
by setting a low volume and then adjust it to a
comfortable level. Always use headphones so
that you can still hear ambient noise.

batteries
Failure to observe the following warnings

■ This product contains rechargeable batteries.
Do not throw the batteries into a fire and do not
subject them to high temperatures. There is a risk
of explosion!
■ Under extreme conditions, leaks in the battery
cells may occur. In the event that battery fluid
comes into contact with skin or eyes, the af-
fected area must immediately be flushed with
fresh water for at least 15 minutes. Contact a
physician.
■ Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Children might put batteries into their mouth
and swallow them. If a battery has been swal-
lowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

Notes on radio interface

Intended use
This consumer electronics device is used to play back audio
files that can be transferred via Bluetooth® or 3.5 mm jack
cable. You can use the headphones as a headset to take
calls using the integrated microphone once the Bluetooth®
connection has been established. Any use other than the
intended use is considered to be improper.
The device is not intended for use in commercial or industrial
environments. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for
damage caused by improper use or repairs, unauthorized mod-
ifications, or the use of unapproved replacement parts. The risk
is borne solely by the user.

result of defective packaging or during transport, contact
the customer service hotline (see section 3 year limited
warranty).

Charging the internal battery
►Before using the headphones, the integrated battery must
be fully charged.
► Charge the headphones only in dry indoor areas.
► Use only the supplied USB charging cable q to charge
the headphones.
► Disconnect the USB charging cable q when charging is
complete.
♦ Make sure that the headphones are turned off.
To turn off the headphones, press the button 4 for
about 2 seconds until a beep sounds and the LED indica-
tor 6 turns off.
♦ Connect the USB A plug on the USB charging cable q to
a USB power supply or a USB port on your computer.
♦ Connect the micro USB C plug of the USB charging
cable q to the USB C charging socket DC IN 7 on the
headphones.

►The LED indicator 6 lights up white during charging. When
the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator 6 turns off
.
►Charging takes about 2.5 hours at a charging current
of 500 mA. When the battery is fully charged, you can
play back music at medium volume [85 dB(A)] for up to
15 hours. The playback time may vary depending on the
volume.
►When the battery is empty, the
LED indicator
6 will flash
white once every 10 seconds and you will hear a beep. The
headphones then turn off automatically.
Handling and operation
Turning the headphones on/off
♦ Press the button 4 for about 2 seconds to turn on the
headphones. You will hear a beep and the LED indica-
tor 6 will light up blue for approx. 2 seconds. The LED
indicator 6 will then flash blue. The headphones are now
in pairing mode.
♦ To turn off the headphones, press the button 4 again
for about 2seconds until you hear a beep and the LED
indicator 6 turns off.

Wearing the headphones
♦ When you are putting the headphones on, please note
the markings “R” (right) and “L” (left) on the inside of the
adjustable headband 1.
♦ Adjust the headband 1 so that it fits your head comfort-
ably and the earpieces 2 cover your ears.
Pairing/unpairing the headphones with a
Bluetooth® device
Before you can use the headphones with the Bluetooth
®
function, you
must pair them with a compatible Bluetooth
®
device.
♦ Turn on the headphones as described above to activate
pairing mode.
♦ Set the Bluetooth
®
playback device so that it scans for
Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of how to
do this can be found in the operating instructions of your
Bluetooth
®
playback device.
♦ Select the entry SBKG 40 A1 from the list of devices
found on your Bluetooth® playback device and, if
required, enter the code 0000 to connect the two devices.
If the pairing is successful, you will hear a series of beeps
and the LED indicator 6 will flash blue every 5seconds.

♦ To terminate the Bluetooth® connection, either disable
the Bluetooth® function on the Bluetooth® playback
device or hold down the Bluetooth® pairing button

for about 2 seconds until the LED indicator 6 flashes
blue. The headphones are now in pairing mode again.
♦ Alternatively, turn the headphones off as described above
to deactivate the Bluetooth® function.
►The next time you turn on the headphones, they will auto-
matically connect to the last Bluetooth® playback device
that was connected. If your Bluetooth® playback device
does not automatically reconnect to the headphones, you
will have to re-establish the connection manually. A detailed
description of how to do this can be found in the operating
instructions of your Bluetooth® playback device.
►If no Bluetooth® connection can be established within
10 minutes, pairing mode ends and the headphones turn
off automatically.
►If there is an existing Bluetooth® connection but no
music playback within 10 minutes, the headphones turn
off automatically.
►Ensure that the headphones are no more than 10 meters
(10.9 yards) away from the Bluetooth® playback de-
vice. Make sure that no barriers or electronic devices are
placed between them.

►As soon as you connect the AUX IN socket 0 to the
audio cable w, the Bluetooth® function is deactivat-
ed and the headphones change to AUX IN mode. The
Bluetooth® function can only be reactivated once you
remove the audio cable w from the AUX IN socket 0.
Music playback via Bluetooth®
The following music playback functions are only available
when the headphones and the playback device are connect-
ed to each other via Bluetooth®.
►Depending on the playback device and its operating
system, it may be possible that not all functions are sup-
ported.

► Press and hold to turn the device on/off.

you reach the maximum volume you will hear

Press and hold again within 2 seconds to
jump to the previous track.
Telephone functions
The following telephone functions are only available when
the headphones and the smartphone are connected to each
other via Bluetooth®.
►Depending on the smartphone and its operating system, it
may be possible that not all functions are supported.
Making a call
♦ Use your smartphone to dial the desired telephone number.
The call is automatically transferred to the headphones.
♦ Speak into the microphone 9 on the headphones to
conduct your call.

Accepting/ending/rejecting a call
►If you are listening to music and receive a call, you will
hear the ringtone in the headphones and playback is
stopped. After finishing the call, playback automatically
resumes.
►You can accept/reject calls via the headphones or your
smartphone. The sound is automatically played back
through the headphones.

Music playback via AUX IN
You can use the supplied audio cable w to connect the
headphones to non-Bluetooth®-compatible playback
devices. In AUX IN mode, the headphones behave like wired
headphones and can even be used with an empty battery.
The Bluetooth® function is deactivated and the buttons on
the headphones do not function.
♦ Make sure that the headphones are turned off.
♦ Connect the audio cable w to the AUX IN socket 0 of the
headphones.
♦ Connect the audio cable w to the audio output (e.g.
headphone jack) on the playback device.
♦ Turn on the playback device and set the volume to mini-
mum.
♦ Put on the headphones as described in the section
Wearing the headphones.
♦ Set the desired volume on the playback device.

Storing the headphones
Your headphones are fitted with swiveling earpieces 2, al-
lowing them to be folded and stored without taking up much
space.
Proceed as follows to fold the headphones:
♦ Swivel both earpieces 2 so that they are inside the head-
band 1 (see Fig. 1). You can now store the headphones
without them taking up much space.

Cleaning
► Do not allow any liquids to get into the headphones. This
could cause irreparable damage to the device.
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as they
can damage the surface of the device.
♦ Clean the outer surfaces of the headphones with a slightly
damp cloth.

Storage when not in use
♦ Store the headphones in a dry, dust-free place, away from
direct sunlight.
♦ To ensure a long battery life, charge the battery at regular
intervals.
Disposal
Disposing of the appliance
Electrical devices may not be thrown away as part of normal
household trash. If you can no longer use your electrical
device, dispose of it in accordance with the legal provisions
applicable in your state. This will allow you to ensure that old
electrical devices are recycled and environmental pollution
is kept to a minimum. Further information about disposal is
available on the Internet at www.epa.gov.
►The integrated rechargeable battery in this appliance
cannot be removed for disposal.

Disposing of packaging
The packaging materials have been selected for
their environmental friendliness and ease of
disposal and are thus recyclable. Dispose of
packaging materials that are no longer needed in
accordance with applicable local regulations.

ing and separate the packaging material compo-
nents for disposal, if necessary.

Troubleshooting
Error causes and solutions
If you cannot connect the headphones to a Bluetooth®-
compatible playback device, proceed as follows:
♦ Make sure that the Bluetooth® function is activated on
the playback device.
♦ Make sure that the audio cable w is connected to the
AUX IN socket 0 of the headphones. When an audio
cable w is connected, the Bluetooth® function of the
headphones is deactivated.
♦ Check that the headphones are turned on.
♦ If you use several Bluetooth® playback devices,
ensure that any previous connection is disconnected. A
previously paired playback device may still be within
range.
♦ Make sure that the headphones are no more than 10
meters (10.9yards) from the playback device and that
no obstacles or electronic devices are placed between
them.

►In an environment with high-frequency interference, you
may experience noise interference during music play-
back via
Bluetooth®
. As soon as the interference has
ceased, music playback should automatically continue in
Bluetooth®
mode without any further problems.

Uso previsto
Este dispositivo electrónico para el consumidor se usa para
reproducir archivos de audio, los cuales pueden transferirse
mediante Bluetooth® o cable con conector de 3.5 mm.
Puede usar los auriculares como diadema para recibir lla-
madas usando el micrófono integrado una vez que se haya

Carga de la batería integrada

♦ Conecte el conector USB A del cable de carga USB q
a una toma de corriente USB o a un puerto USB en su
computadora.
♦ Conecte el conector micro USB C del cable de carga
USB q al conector de carga USB C DC IN 7 en los
auriculares.
►El indicador LED 6 se ilumina en color blanco durante la
carga. Cuando la batería está completamente cargada, el
indicador LED 6 se apaga.
►La carga se completa en aproximadamente 2.5 horas con
una corriente de carga de 500mA. Cuando la batería
está completamente cargada, puede reproducir música a
medio volumen [85 dB(A)] durante 15 horas. El tiempo
de reproducción puede variar de acuerdo con el volumen.
►Cuando la batería se agota, el indicador LED 6 par-
padeará una vez en color blanco cada 10 segundos y

Manejo y operación
Encendido y apagado de los auriculares
♦ Presione el botón 4 durante unos 2 segundos para
encender los auriculares. Escuchará un pitido y el indica-
dor LED 6 se iluminará en color azul durante aproxima-
damente 2 segundos. El indicador LED 6 parpadeará
entonces en color azul. Los auriculares están ahora en
modo de emparejamiento.
♦ Para apagar los auriculares, presione el botón 4
nuevamente durante aproximadamente 2 segundos hasta
que escuche un pitido y el indicador LED 6 se apague.
Uso de los auriculares
♦ Cuando se coloque los auriculares, observe las marcas
“R” (derecho) y “L” (izquierdo) en la parte interna de la

Emparejar y desemparejar los auriculares
con un dispositivo Bluetooth®
Antes de que pueda usar los auriculares con la función
Bluetooth®, debe emparejarlos con un dispositivo
Bluetooth® compatible.
♦ Encienda los auriculares como se describió anteriormente
para activar el modo de emparejamiento.
♦ Configure el dispositivo de reproducción Bluetooth®
de manera que busque dispositivos Bluetooth®. El
instructivo de operación de su dispositivo de reproducción
Bluetooth® describe de manera detallada cómo hacer
esto.
♦ Seleccione la opción SBKG 40 A1 de la lista de disposi-
tivos que se encuentra en su dispositivo de reproducción
Bluetooth® y, si se requiere, ingrese el código 0000
para conectar los dos dispositivos. Si se logra el empa-
rejamiento, escuchará una serie de pitidos y el indicador
LED 6 parpadeará en color azul cada 5segundos.
♦ Para terminar la conexión Bluetooth®, inhabilite la
función Bluetooth® en el dispositivo de reproducción
Bluetooth® o mantenga presionado el botón de empa-
rejamiento Bluetooth®
8 durante aproximadamente

♦ De manera alternativa, apague los auriculares como
se describió anteriormente para desactivar la función
Bluetooth®.
►La próxima vez que encienda los auriculares, se conec-
tarán automáticamente al último dispositivo de reproduc-
ción Bluetooth® que estaba conectado. Si su dispo-
sitivo de reproducción Bluetooth® no se reconecta
automáticamente a los auriculares, deberá restablecer
la conexión de manera manual. El instructivo de ope-

►Si no puede establecerse conexión Bluetooth® dentro

auriculares se apagan automáticamente.
►Si hay una conexión Bluetooth® pero no se reproduce

►Si está escuchando música y recibe una llamada, es-
cuchará el tono en los auriculares y la reproducción se
detendrá. La reproducción se reanuda automáticamente
al finalizar la llamada.
►Puede aceptar y rechazar llamadas a través de sus auri-
culares o su teléfono. El sonido se reproduce automática-
mente a través de los auriculares.

Reproducción de música vía AUX IN
Puede usar el cable de audio w incluido para conectar los
auriculares a dispositivos de reproducción que no son compa-
tibles con Bluetooth®. En el modo AUX IN, los auriculares
funcionan como auriculares conectados por cable y pueden
usarse con una batería agotada. La función Bluetooth® está
desactivada y los botones en los auriculares no funcionan.
♦ Asegúrese de que los auriculares estén apagados.
♦ Conecte el cable de audio w en el conector AUX IN 0
de los auriculares.
♦ Conecte el cable de audio w en la salida de audio (por

Almacenamiento de los auriculares
Los auriculares tienen audífonos giratorios 2, lo que les per-
mite plegarse y guardarse sin ocupar mucho espacio.
Proceda de la forma siguiente para plegar los auriculares:
♦ Gire ambos audífonos 2 para que queden dentro de la
banda para la cabeza 1 (vea la Fig. 1). Ahora puede
guardar los auriculares sin que ocupen mucho espacio.

Solución de problemas
Causas de errores y soluciones
Si no puede emparejar los auriculares con un dispositivo
de reproducción compatible con Bluetooth®, siga estas
instrucciones:
♦ Asegúrese de que la función Bluetooth® esté activada en
el dispositivo de reproducción.
♦ Asegúrese de que el cable de audio w esté conectado
en el conector AUX IN 0 de los auriculares. Cuando hay
un cable de audio w conectado, la función Bluetooth®
de los auriculares se desactiva.
♦ Asegúrese de que los auriculares estén encendidos.
♦ Si usa varios dispositivos de reproducción Bluetooth®,
asegúrese de desconectar cualquier conexión previa. Un

experimentar interferencia de ruido durante la reproduc-
ción de música a través de Bluetooth®. Una vez que la
interferencia cese, la reproducción de música deberá con-

problema posterior.
