iSoundSpa Max helps create your perfect sleep environment. Fall asleep to any of
the six calming sounds, then wake to iPod/iPhone, sounds, radio, or beep tone.
iSoundSpa Max can also mask distractions to improve your concentration while you
read, work or study.

1. Make sure the DC adaptor is connected. Otherwise the time setting
may be lost during battery replacement.
2. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
3. Insert two “AA” batteries, checking that the positive polarity follows the
direction of the instructions inside the battery compartment.
4. Close the compartment cover.
Note: Batteries must be installed in order for time & alarm memory
back-up to operate. In the event of a power failure or
disconnection, if the battery is not installed, the clock and
alarm will need to be re-set when power is restored.
Battery Precautions
• Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
• When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect
installation of battery may cause damage to the unit.
• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with
carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones).
• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove
batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

Before You Begin
The iSoundSpa Max uses a backup battery system to provide continuous
alarm settings in the event of a power failure. Two “AA” batteries (included)
must be inserted into the battery compartment if memory back-up is
desired. When the backup batteries are installed: In the event of power
outages or if the DC cord is accidentally disconnected, the LCD display
will not be illuminated, but the current time and alarm settings will be
temporarily maintained. As soon as the power supply returns, the LCD
display will indicate the correct time.
Getting Started
Setting Clock Time
1. Press the TIME SET BUTTON located on the back of the unit (Fig. 4);
hour digit will begin flashing. Turn the SET +/- KNOB until the current
hour is displayed. Remember to set the correct AM or PM (an icon in
the upper left of the time display is the PM INDICATOR; there is no AM
indicator) (Fig. 2).
2. Press the TIME SET BUTTON again; minute digits will begin flashing.
Turn the SET +/- KNOB until the current minute is displayed.
3. Press the TIME SET BUTTON again to exit the clock setting mode or
after 5 seconds the display will stop flashing to indicate the time is set.
Charging your iPod/iPhone™
1. Select the correct insert for your particular iPod model from among the
7 different inserts included (Fig. 1). Each insert is labeled with the name
and/or size of an iPod model. Place the selected insert in the docking
area so that the iPod 30-pin connector passes through the opening in
the insert (Fig. 3). iPhone insert not included. You may contact
HoMedics Consumer Relations at 1-800-466-3342 to order the
correct insert for your iPod/iPhone.
Note: Make sure you are using the correct insert for your
iPod/iPhone (see chart) and that it is properly docked into the
iSoundSpa Max. Failure to do so may damage your iPod/iPhone.
WARNING: INSERTS ARE DESIGNED FOR APPLE iPOD MUSIC
PLAYERS ONLY. ATTEMPTING TO ATTACH OR FORCE ANY
NON- iPOD MUSIC PLAYER INTO ANY OF THE ENCLOSED INSERTS
WILL DAMAGE AND EVEN DESTROY YOUR DEVICE.
2. Carefully place your iPod/iPhone into the docking area so that the
30-pin connector in the dock is fully connected to the 30-pin socket on
the bottom of your iPod/iPhone. (The iPod/iPhone must not be in a case
or “skin”). You will hear a “chirp”, indicating that your iPod is properly
connected.
NOTE: When you dock your iPod/iPhone it recharges (until fully
charged).

FOR iPHONE USERS ONLY:
Once properly connected, your iPhone will ask
you if you’d like to turn on Airplane Mode. Select
“Yes” (Fig. 5). When your iPhone is set to
Airplane Mode, no cell phone, radio, Wi-Fi, or
Bluetooth signals are emitted from iPhone. As a
result, all incoming calls will be sent directly to
voicemail.
NOTE: If iPhone is already in Airplane Mode you will just need to
click “OK”.
3. To remove/replace an insert, first remove your iPod/iPhone, then place
fingernail in slot on insert (Fig. 3) and gently pull up.
Important: The iPod Shuffle will NOT charge or dock. See Listening to a
non-docking iPod (page 10)
Listening to Your iPod/iPhone
1. Press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the iSoundSpa Max to turn it on.
2. Toggle through the AUDIO BUTTON (Fig. 1) to play the iPod/iPhone.
The IPOD ICON will appear on the LCD display in the upper right corner to
indicate that the iPod mode has been selected (Fig. 2).
Note: When the iPod/iPhone is docked and in standby mode, it will
automatically begin playing once the iPod mode is selected
on the unit.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button on your iPod/iPhone to pause play; press
again to resume play.
4. Turn the VOLUME KNOB (Fig. 1) on the unit to adjust the system volume.
5. Press the or on your iPod/iPhone to go to the next or previous track.
6. To turn off the unit, press the POWER BUTTON. The iPod/iPhone will
continue charging in the dock.

Listening to a non-docking iPod or other
portable audio devices
If you are using an iPod without a docking port, other MP3 player, or other
portable audio device, you can play it through the iSoundSpa Max via
the Aux Jack (Fig. 6) located on the back of the unit.
1. Plug one end of the Connection Cable (included) (Fig. 1) into the
headphone or line-out jack on your MP3 device and the other end of the
Connection Cable into the iSoundSpa Max Aux jack, located on the back of
the unit (Fig. 6).
2. Press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit to turn it on.
3. Toggle through the AUDIO BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit until you reach the
auxiliary mode. The AUX ICON will appear on the right side of the LCD
display to indicate that the auxiliary mode has been selected (Fig. 2).
4. Turn on and play your MP3 device.
5. Use the VOLUME KNOB (Fig. 1) on the unit to adjust the system volume.
Note: You may need to adjust the volume on your MP3 device also.
6. To turn off the unit, press the POWER BUTTON.
Note: You also need to turn off your MP3 device.
Listening to the Radio
Extend FM wire antenna fully for best FM reception (do not strip, alter or attach
to other antennas). Snap the AM loop antenna into the base provided. Next,
plug the AM loop antenna into the connecter located on the back of the unit for
best AM reception (Fig 7).
1. Press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit to turn it on.
2. Toggle through the AUDIO BUTTON (Fig. 1) to play the radio. The RADIO
ICON will appear on the right side of the LCD display to indicate that the
radio is on (Fig. 2).
3. Press the AM/FM BUTTON (Fig. 4) located on the back of the unit to select
AM or FM band. The FM ICON will appear on the left side of the LCD to
indicate FM radio is selected; there is no AM indicator.
4. Turn the SET +/- KNOB (Fig. 1) on the unit to tune in the desired station.
5. Turn the VOLUME KNOB (Fig. 1) on the unit to adjust the system volume.
6. To turn off the unit, press the POWER BUTTON.

Listening to Nature Sounds
1. Press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit to turn it on.
2. Toggle through the SOUND BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit until you reach
the nature sound you wish to listen to. The SOUND ICON will appear on
the lower bottom of the LCD to indicate which nature sound has been
selected (Fig. 2).
3. Turn the VOLUME KNOB (Fig. 1) on the unit to adjust the system volume.
4. To turn off the nature sounds, press the POWER BUTTON to turn the unit
off, or switch the audio mode by pressing the AUDIO BUTTON (Fig. 1).
Note: When the unit is turned on, it will always default to the
last mode used.
Adjusting Bass and Treble
It is recommended that you adjust the bass & treble while listening to the
iSoundSpa Max.
1. Press the BASS BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit. The BASS ICON will appear
on the left side of the LCD (Fig. 2) to indicate the bass is selected and bass
level will appear on the LCD display.
2. While bass level appears on LCD display, turn the SET +/- KNOB (Fig. 1) on
the unit to adjust the bass (from -8 to 8). After 5 seconds the BASS ICON
and bass level will disappear to indicate the bass level is set.
3. Press the TREBLE BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit. The TREBLE ICON will
appear on the left side of the LCD (Fig. 2) to indicate the treble is selected
and treble level will appear on the LCD display.
4. While treble level appears on LCD display, turn the SET +/- KNOB (Fig. 1)
on the unit to adjust the treble (from -8 to 8). After 5 seconds the TREBLE
ICON and treble level will disappear to indicate the treble level is set.
Using Auto-Timer
While listening to your iPod, the nature sounds, or the radio, you may set a
timer so the unit will automatically turn off.
1. Toggle through the TIMER BUTTON (Fig. 1) until the time of your choice, 15,
30, 45, or 60 minutes, is shown on the LCD.
2. To cancel the timer, toggle through the TIMER BUTTON until OFF is
shown on the LCD.
Setting And Using The Alarms
Setting Alarm1 or Alarm2 (Individually)
1. Toggle through the AL1/AL2 BUTTON (Fig.1) located on the top of the
unit to AL1 or AL2. The AL1 BELL or AL2 BELL ICON will appear in the
upper right corner on the LCD display to indicate which alarm is
activated (Fig. 2).
2. Press the AL SET BUTTON (Fig. 1) twice; hour digits will begin flashing.
Turn the SET +/- KNOB (Fig. 1) until the desired hour is displayed.
Remember to set the correct AM or PM (an icon to the left of the time
display is the PM INDICATOR; there is no AM indicator) (Fig. 2).
3. Press the AL SET BUTTON again; minute digits will begin flashing. Turn
the SET +/- KNOB until the desired minute is displayed.
4. Press the AL SET BUTTON again to exit the alarm setting mode or after
5 seconds the display will stop flashing to indicate the alarm is set.
Note: You can press the AL SET BUTTON at any time to review the
alarm setting.

5. Toggle through the AL MODE BUTTON (Fig. 1) until the WAKE MODE
ICON appears on the right side of the LCD to indicate the wake mode
of your choice: iPod, radio, sounds or beep (Fig. 2).
Note: To wake to iPod/iPhone, your iPod/iPhone must be properly
docked in the unit, or alarm will default to beep wake mode.
Note: When using the sound mode, the unit will set to the last
sound you listened to. If you wish to change it, first, turn the power
on, then press the sound you wish to wake to. Lastly, turn the
power off.
6. When the alarm is sounding, press the POWER BUTTON on the unit to
turn the alarm OFF (Fig. 1). The alarm will come on again the next day
at the same time.
7. To stop the alarm from coming on the next day, toggle through the
AL1/AL2 BUTTON located on the top of the unit until the AL1 & AL2 BELL
ICONS disappear from the LCD display, indicating the alarm is disarmed.
Note: If the alarm sounds for 30 minutes continuously it will
automatically turn off and reset to come on again at the same time
the next day.
Setting Alarm1 and Alarm2 (Together)
1. Toggle through the AL1/AL2 BUTTON (Fig. 1) located on the top of the
unit until BOTH AL1 & AL2 BELL ICONS appear on the LCD display to
indicate both alarms are activated (Fig. 2).
Note: You cannot change the alarm time when BOTH are selected.
If you need to change the alarm time for either alarm, follow step 1
under Setting Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 (Individually).
2. Toggle through the AL MODE BUTTON (Fig. 1) until the WAKE MODE
ICON appears on the right side of the LCD to indicate the wake mode of
your choice: iPod, radio, sounds or beep (Fig. 2). Both AL1 & AL2 must
wake to the same mode.
Note: To wake to iPod/iPhone, your iPod/iPhone must be properly
docked in the unit, or alarm will default to beep wake mode.
Note: When using the sound mode, the unit will set to the last
sound you listened to. If you wish to change it, first, turn the
power on, then press the sound you wish to wake to. Lastly,
turn the power off.
3. When the alarm is sounding, press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the
unit to turn the alarm OFF. The alarm will come on again the next day at
the same time.
4. To stop the alarm from coming on the next day, toggle through the
AL1/AL2 BUTTON (Fig. 1) located on the top of the unit until the AL1 &
AL2 BELL ICONS disappear from the LCD display, indicating the alarms
are disarmed.
Note: If one of the alarm users still needs their alarm set, you will
need to toggle through the AL1/AL2 BUTTON located on top of the
unit until the AL1 or AL2 BELL ICON appears on the LCD to
correspond to the alarm of their wake time.
Note: If the alarm sounds for 30 minutes continuously it will
automatically turn off and reset to come on at the same time the
next day.

Snooze Operation
1. Press the SNOOZE/NAP BUTTON (Fig. 1) on the unit while the alarm is
sounding. The alarm will go off temporarily and will go on again in
9 minutes. You may use this feature until you turn the alarm off.
Note: To turn off the snooze function prior to the alarm activating,
press the POWER BUTTON twice. The alarm will come on again
the next day at the same time.
Nap Operation
The NAP TIMER FUNCTION will wake you after a nap of 15, 30, 45, or 60
minutes without the need to change your regular Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 settings.
1. If the system is playing, press the POWER BUTTON (Fig. 1) to off.
2. Toggle through the SNOOZE/NAP BUTTON (Fig. 1) until the
corresponding time is shown on the LCD display.
3. Toggle through the AL MODE BUTTON (Fig. 1) until the WAKE MODE
ICON appears on the right side of the LCD to indicate the wake mode
of your choice: iPod, radio, sounds or beep (Fig. 2).
Note: To wake to iPod/iPhone, your iPod/iPhone must be properly
docked in the unit, or alarm will default to beep wake mode.
4. The alarm will sound to wake you up after the selected amount of
minutes have passed.
5. To cancel the NAP TIMER, press the SNOOZE/NAP BUTTON, until “OFF”
appears on the LCD display to indicate NAP function is disabled.
Dimmer Control
1. Press the DIMMER HI/LO BUTTON (Fig. 4) located on the back of the
unit to adjust the backlight intensity of the LCD display.

Using the Projection Feature
1. To turn on the projection feature, press the PROJECTOR ON/OFF
BUTTON (Fig. 4) located on the back of the unit. The time is now
projected on the wall or ceiling.
2. The angle of the projector can be adjusted to angle on the ceiling or wall by
moving the PROJECTOR TUBE (Fig. 4) forward or backward.
3. To turn the angle of the time that appears on the wall of ceiling,
rotate the TIME ROTATION KNOB (Fig. 4) until you have reached your
desired result.
Note: The TIME ROTATION KNOB will rotate up to 350 degrees.
4. To focus the time on the wall or ceiling rotate the FOCUS KNOB (Fig. 4) until
you have reached your desired result.
Using the Remote Control
Install/Replace Remote Control Battery
One lithium battery is packaged with the remote. To begin using the remote,
install the battery provided. When the remote stops operating or when the
operating range is reduced, replace the battery with a new one.
1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the remote.
2. Remove old battery from remote control.
3. Insert one 3-volt lithium battery, Model #: CR2025, checking that
positive polarity faces towards you.
4. Close the compartment cover.

in a cool, dry place.
To Clean
Use only a soft dry cloth to clean the enclosure of the unit.
NEVER use liquids or abrasive cleaner to clean. Modifications not
authorized by the manufacturer may void warranty.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal

Para Instalar/Reemplazar las Baterías de
Respaldo
1. Asegúrese de que el adaptador de CD esté conectado. De otra forma,
el ajuste de la hora puede perderse durante el reemplazo de la batería.
2. Abra la tapa del compartimiento de las baterías ubicada en el fondo de
la unidad.
3. Inserte dos baterías “AA” asegurándose de que la polaridad positiva
esté dispuesta según las instrucciones dentro del compartimiento de
las baterías.
4. Cierre la tapa del compartimiento.
Nota: Es necesario instalar las baterías para hacer funcionar el
respaldo de la memoria y la hora. En el caso de un apagón o
desconexión, si la batería no ha sido instalada, cuando
vuelva la corriente, será necesario reajustar la hora y la
alarma.
Precauciones para las Baterías
• Use solo el tipo y tamaño de baterías según se especifica.
• Cuando instala las baterías, respete la posición correcta de las
polaridades +/-. La instalación incorrecta de la batería puede dañar la
unidad.
• No combine diferentes tipos de baterías (p. ej. alcalinas con cinc-
carbono o baterías viejas con nuevas).
• Si no se usa la unidad por un largo período de tiempo, retire las
baterías para prevenir daños debidos a posibles pérdidas de las
baterías.
• No arroje las baterías al fuego. Pueden explotar o perder líquido.

Antes de comenzar
El iSoundSpa Max emplea un sistema de pila de respaldo para proporcionar la
alarma en caso de una falla del servicio de electricidad.
Si se desea el respaldo
de memoria por baterías se deben colocar dos baterías “AA” (incluidas) en
el compartimiento de las baterías. Si las baterías de respaldo han sido
instaladas: Cuando las baterías de respaldo están instaladas, y en el caso
de una falla del servicio eléctrico, o si el cordón de corriente directa viene
desconectado accidentalmente, la pantalla LCD no permanecerá
encendida, pero la hora y el ajuste de alarma actual permanecen
temporalmente activos. Tan pronto vuelva el suministro de corriente,
la pantalla LCD indicará la hora correcta.
Para Empezar
Ajuste de la Hora del Reloj
1. Oprima el BOTÓN TIME SET (ajuste de la hora), ubicado al respaldo de la
unidad (Fig. 4); el dígito de la hora empieza a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/-
hasta que la hora actual quede en pantalla. Acuérdese de ajustar
correctamente AM o PM (el indicador de PM es un icono en la esquina superior
izquierda de la pantalla de la hora; no hay indicador de AM) (Fig. 2).
2. Oprima el BOTÓN TIME SET otra vez; los dígitos de los minutos empiezan
a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/- hasta que los minutos actuales queden
en pantalla.
3. Oprima nuevamente el BOTÓN TIME SET para salir del modo de ajuste del reloj
o la pantalla dejará de destellar después de 5 segundos, para indicar que la
hora ha quedado ajustada

Para cargar su iPod/iPhone™
1. Seleccione el inserto correcto para el modelo particular de su iPod entre los
7 diferentes insertos incluidos (Fig. 1). Cada inserto lleva una etiqueta con el
nombre y/o el tamaño de un modelo de iPod. Coloque el inserto seleccionado
en el área de conexión en forma que el conector de 30 agujas del iPod pase por
el abertura en el inserto (Fig. 3). Inserto iPhone no incluido. Usted puede
contactar a HoMedics, Relaciones con el Consumidor, al 1-800-466-3342
para solicitar el inserto correcto para su iPod/iPhone.
Nota: Asegúrese de usar el inserto correcto para su iPod/iPhone (ver la
tabla) y de que esté insertado correctamente en el iSoundSpa Max. De no
hacerlo así podría dañar su iPod/iPhone.
ADVERTENCIA: LOS INSERTOS ESTÁN CONCEBIDOS SÓLO PARA
EQUIPOS DE MÚSICA iPOD DE APPLE. EL INTENTAR SUJETAR O FORZAR
CUALQUIER EQUIPO DE MÚSICA QUE NO SEA iPOD EN CUALQUIERA DE
LOS INSERTOS ADJUNTOS CAUSARÁ EL DAÑO O LA DESTRUCCIÓN DE
ESTE DISPOSITIVO.
2. Coloque cuidadosamente su iPod/iPhone en la plataforma de manera que
el conector de 30 agujas en la plataforma haga contacto completo con el
receptor de 30 agujas al fondo del iPod/iPhone. (El iPod/iPhone no debe estar
en su estuche o funda). Usted oirá un “chirrido” que indica que su iPod está
conectado correctamente.
NOTA: Cuando coloca su iPod/iPhone en la plataforma, éste se recarga
(hasta quedar completamente cargado).
SÓLO PARA USUARIOS DEL iPHONE:
Una vez conectado correctamente, su iPhone
le preguntará si desea activar el modo
Airplane. Seleccione “Yes” (Fig. 5). Cuando su
iPhone está en el modo Airplane no emite
señales de teléfono móvil, radio, Wi-Fi o
Bluetooth. En consecuencia, todas las
llamadas que entran vienen dirigidas
directamente al buzón del correo de voz.
NOTA: Si el iPhone ya está en el modo Airplane, usted necesita sólo
hacer un clic en el “OK”.
3. Para retirar/reemplazar un inserto, primero quite el iPod/iPhone, luego inserte
la uña en la ranura en el inserto (Fig. 3), hale suavemente hacia arriba.
Importante: El iPod Shuffle NO puede cargarse ni onectarsea la plataforma.

Para escuchar su iPod/iPhone
1. Oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido) (Fig. 1) del iSoundSpa Max para encenderlo.
2. Alterne en distintas posiciones del BOTÓN AUDIO (sonido) (Fig. 1) para escuchar
el iPod. El ICONO IPOD aparece el la pantalla LCD en la esquina a la derecha
arriba, para indicar que el modo del iPod ha sido seleccionado (Fig 2).
Nota: Cuando el iPod/iPhone está conectado a la plataforma en modo de
espera (standby), empieza a producir sonido automáticamente una vez que
el modo iPod queda seleccionado.
3. Oprima el botón PLAY/PAUSE (sonido/pausa) del iPod/iPhone para cortar
el sonido; oprima otra vez para resumir el sonido.
4. Gire la perilla VOLUME (Fig. 1) en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del sistema.
5. Oprima el o de sui Pod/iPhone para ir a la pista magnética siguiente
o anterior.
6. Para apagar la unidad, oprima la tecla POWER (encendido). El iPod/iPhone
seguirá cargándose en la plataforma.

Para escuchar un iPod desconectado
de la plataforma, u otros dispositivos de
sonido portátiles
Si está usando un iPod si la plataforma de conexión, otro dispositivo MP3, u otro
dispositivo de sonido portátil, puede escucharlo por el iSoundSpa Max por medio
del enchufe Aux Jack (Fig. 6) ubicado al respaldo de la unidad.
1. Conecte un extremo del Cable de Conexión (incluido) (Fig. 1) en el audífono o el
enchufe de salida de su MP3 y el otro extremo del Cable de Conexión en el enchufe
Aux del iSoundSpa Max, ubicado al respaldo de la unidad (Fig. 6).
2. Oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido) (Fig. 1) del iSoundSpa para encenderlo.
3. Alterne con el BOTÓN AUDIO (Fig. 1) en la unidad hasta alcanzar el modo auxiliar.
El ICONO AUX aparece a la derecha de la pantalla LCD, para indicar que el modo
auxiliar ha sido seleccionado (Fig 2).
4. Encienda y escuche su MP3.
5. Use la perilla VOLUME (Fig. 1) en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del sistema.
Nota: Puede necesitar ajustar también el volumen de su MP3.
6. Para apagar la unidad, oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido).
Nota: También necesita apagar su MP3.
Escucha del Radio
Extienda por completo la antena FM para la mejor recepción FM
(no pele, altere o conecte otras antenas). Presione la antena AM en aro en la base
que se proporciona. Luego, enchufe la antena AM en aro en el conector en el
respaldo de la unidad para lograr la mejor recepción AM (Fig. 7).
1. Oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido) (Fig. 1) del iSoundSpa para encenderlo.
2. Alterne en distintas posiciones del BOTÓN AUDIO (sonido) (Fig. 1) para
escuchar el radio. El ICONO RADIO aparece en la derecha de la pantalla LCD,
para indicar que el radio está encendido (Fig. 2).
3. Deslice el BOTÓN AM/FM (Fig. 4) ubicado al respaldo de la unidad para
seleccionar la banda AM o FM. El ICONO FM aparece en la izquierda de la
pantalla LCD para indicar que se ha seleccionado la frecuencia FM; no hay
indicador de AM.
4. Gire la perilla SET +/- (Fig. 1) de la unidad para sintonizar la emisora deseada.
5. Gire la perilla VOLUME (Fig. 1) en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del sistema.
6. Para apagar la unidad, oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido).

1. Oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido) (Fig. 1) del iSoundSpa para encenderlo.
2. Alterne con el BOTÓN SOUND (Fig. 1) en la unidad hasta alcanzar el sonido de
la naturaleza que usted desea escuchar. El ICONO SOUND aparece al fondo de
la pantalla LCD, para indicar cuál sonido de la naturaleza ha sido seleccionado
(Figura 2).
3. Gire la perilla VOLUME (Fig. 1) en la unidad para ajustar el volumen del sistema.
4. Para apagar los sonidos naturales, oprima el BOTÓN POWER (encendido) para
apagar la unidad, o cambie al modo de sonido oprimiendo el BOTÓN AUDIO
(sonido) (Fig. 1).
Nota: Cuando se prende la unidad, ésta queda por defecto en el último
modo empleado.
Ajuste de Bajos y Agudos
Se recomienda ajustar los bajos y agudos mientras escucha el iSoundSpa Max.
1. Presione el BOTÓN BASS (bajos) (Fig. 1) en la unidad. El icono BASS aparece
en lado izquierdo de la pantalla LCD (Fig. 2) para indicar que se ha
seleccionado el bajo, y el nivel de bajos aparece en la pantalla LCD.
2. Con el nivel de bajos visible en la pantalla LCD, gire la perilla de ajuste +/-
(Fig. 1) de la unidad para seleccionar los bajos (desde -8 hasta 8). Después de
5 segundos el ICONO BASS y el nivel de bajos desaparecen para indicar que el
nivel de bajos ha quedado seleccionado.
3. Presione el BOTÓN TREBLE (agudos) (Fig. 1) en la unidad. El ICONO TREBLE
aparece en lado izquierdo de la pantalla LCD (Fig. 2) para indicar que se ha
seleccionado el bajo, y el nivel de bajos aparece en la pantalla LCD.
4. Con el nivel de agudos visible en la pantalla LCD, gire la perilla de ajuste +/-
(Fig. 1) de la unidad para seleccionar los agudos (desde -8 hasta 8). Después
de 5 segundos el ICONO REBLE y el nivel de agudos desaparecen para indicar
que el nivel de agudos ha quedado seleccionado.
Uso del Auto-Temporizador
Mientras escucha su iPod, los sonidos naturales, o el radio, usted puede ajustar
un temporizador para que la unidad se apague automáticamente.
1. Presione varias veces el botón TIMER (temporizador - Fig. 1) hasta que aparezca
la hora que eligió, 15, 30, 45 ó 60 minutos, en la pantalla LCD.
2. Para cancelar el temporizador, alterne el botón TIMER hasta que aparezca OFF
(apagado) en la pantalla LCD.
Ajuste y Uso de las Alarmas
Ajuste de la Alarma1 o Alarma2 (individualmente)
1. Alterne entre los botones de AL1/AL2 (Fig. 1) ubicados en la parte superior de la
unidad para AL1 o AL2. El ICONO AL1 BELL o AL2 BELL (timbre AL1 o timbre
AL2) aparece en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla LCD para indicar
cuál alarma ha sido activada (Fig. 2).
2. Oprima el BOTÓN AL SET (Fig. 1) dos veces; los dígitos de la hora empiezan
a destellar. Gire la perilla SET +/- (Fig. 1) hasta que la hora deseada quede en
pantalla. Acuérdese de ajustar correctamente AM o PM (el indicador de PM es un
icono a la izquierda de la pantalla de la hora; no hay indicador de AM) (Fig. 2).
3. Oprima el BOTÓN AL SET otra vez; los dígitos de los minutos empiezan a destellar.
Gire la perilla SET +/- hasta que los minutos deseados queden en pantalla.
4. Oprima nuevamente el BOTÓN Al SET para salir del modo de ajuste del reloj
o la pantalla dejará de destellar después de 5 segundos, para indicar que la
alarma ha quedado ajustada.
Nota: Usted puede oprimir el BOTÓN AL SET en cualquier momento para
revisar el ajuste de la alarma.

5. Alterne con el botón AL MODE (modo de alarma) (Fig. 1) hasta el icono WAKE
MODE (modalidad de despertador) aparezca en el lado derecho de la pantalla
LCD, para indicar el modo de despertador que usted ha elegido: iPod, radio,
sonidos o pitido (Fig. 2).
Atención: Para despertarse con el iPod/iPhone, su iPod/iPhone debe estar
apropiadamente conectado a la plataforma en la unidad, o quedará por
defecto en el modo de despertarse con el pitido.
Atención: Cuando se usa el modo de sonido, la unidad quedará ajustada
con el último sonido que usted ha escuchado. Si desea cambiarlo, primero
enciéndalo, luego oprima el sonido con el cual desea despertarse.
Por último, apáguelo.
6. Cuando la alarma esté sonando, oprima el BOTÓN POWER en la unidad para
apagarla (Fig. 1). La alarma volverá a sonar nuevamente el día siguiente a la
misma hora.
7. Para evitar que la alarma vuelva a sonar al día siguiente, alterne el botón
AL1/AL2 ubicado en la parte superior de la unidad hasta que el icono AL1 BELL
o AL2 BELL desaparezcan de la pantalla LCD, indicando que la alarma ha sido
desactivada.
Nota: Si la alarma suena por 30 minutos seguidos, se apaga
automáticamente y vuelve a programarse nuevamente para el día siguiente
a la misma hora.
Ajuste de la Alarma1 o Alarma2 (juntas)
1. Alterne con el botón AL1 /AL2 (Fig. 1) ubicado en la parte superior de la unidad
hasta que AMBOS ICONOS AL1 y AL2 BELL aparecen en la pantalla LCD para
indicar que ambas alarmas están activadas (Fig. 2).
Nota: Usted no puede cambiar la hora de la alarma cuando la modalidad
BOTH (ambas) ha sido seleccionada. Si desea cambiar la hora de la alarma
para cualquiera de las dos alarmas, siga el paso 1 en la sección Ajuste de
la Alarma 1 o Alarma 2 (individualmente).
2. Alterne con el botón AL MODE (modo de alarma) (Fig. 1) hasta que el icono WAKE
MODE (modalidad de despertador) aparezca en el lado derecho de la pantalla
LCD, para indicar el modo de despertador que usted ha elegido: iPod, radio,

Nota: Si uno de los usuarios de la alarma todavía necesita su alarma
ajustada, you will need to toggle through the AL1/AL2 BUTTON located on
top of the unit until the AL1 or AL2 BELL ICON appears on the LCD to
correspond to the alarm of their wake time.
Nota: Si la alarma suena por 30 minutos seguidos, se apaga automáticamente

Funcionamiento de Alarma Repetida
1. Oprima el BOTÓN SNOOZE/NAP (alarma repetida/dormitar) (Fig. 1) en la unidad
mientras la alarma esté sonando. La alarma se apaga momentáneamente y vuelve
a prenderse otra vez en cerca de 9 minutos. Usted puede usar esta función hasta
apagar la alarma..
Nota: Para apagar la función de alarma repetida antes de que la alarma se
active, oprima dos veces el botón POWER. La alarma volverá a sonar
nuevamente el día siguiente a la misma hora.
Funcionamiento de la modalidad de Dormitar
La Función NAP TIMER (temporizador de dormitar) le despertará después de una
siesta de 15, 30, 45 o 60 minutos sin necesidad de cambiar los ajustes normales de
su Alarma 1 o Alarma 2.
1. Si el sistema está tocando música, oprima el BOTÓN POWER (Fig. 1) para
apagarlo.
2. Alterne con el botón SNOOZE/NAP (alarma repetida-dormitar - Figura 1) del
control remoto hasta que aparezca la hora correspondiente en la pantalla LCD.
3. Alterne con el botón AL MODE (modo de alarma) (Fig. 1) hasta el icono WAKE
MODE (modalidad de despertador) aparezca en el lado derecho de la pantalla
LCD, para indicar el modo de despertador que usted ha elegido: iPod, radio,
sonidos o pitido (Fig. 2).
Nota: Para despertarse con el iPod/iPhone, su iPod/iPhone debe estar
apropiadamente conectado a la plataforma en la unidad, o quedará por
defecto en el modo de despertarse con el pitido.
4. La alarma sonará para despertarle después de que haya pasado la cantidad
seleccionada de minutos.
5. Para cancelar el temporizador NAP, presione alternativamente el botón
SNOOZE/NAP hasta que aparece “OFF” en la pantalla LCD, que indica que la
función NAP ha sido desactivada.
Control del Reductor de Luz (dimmer)
1. Presione el BOTÓN DIMMER HI/LO (Fig. 4) ubicado al respaldo de la unidad
para ajustar la intensidad de la luz de fondo de la pantalla LCD.

Uso de la Función de Proyección
1. Para activar la función de proyección, oprima el BOTÓN PROJECTOR ON/OFF
(Fig. 4) ubicado al respaldo de la unidad. La hora se proyecta entonces en la
pared o el cielorraso.
2. El ángulo del proyector puede ajustarse para la proyección angular en el
cielorraso moviendo el TUBO PROYECTOR (Fig. 4) hacia delante o atrás.
3. Para cambiar el ángulo de visión de la hora que aparece en el cielorraso, gire la
PERILLA DE ROTACIÓN DE LA HORA (Fig. 4) hasta lograr el resultado
deseado.
Nota: La PERILLA DE ROTACIÓN DE LA HORA gira hasta 350 grados.
4. Para enfocar la hora en la pared el cielorraso, gire la perilla FOCUS (enfoque)
(Fig. 4) hasta lograr el resultado deseado.
Uso del Control Remoto
Para instalar/reemplazar la batería del control remoto
El control remoto viene con una batería de litio. Para empezar a usar el control remoto,
instale la batería que se proporciona. Cuando el control remoto deja de funcionar o cuando
el radio de acción queda reducido, reemplace la batería por una nueva.
1. Abra la tapa del compartimiento de la batería ubicada en el respaldo del control
remoto.
2. Retire la batería vieja del control remoto.
3. Inserte una batería de litio de 3 voltios (Modelo #: CR2025), asegurándose de que la
polaridad positiva quede hacia usted.
4. Cierre la tapa del compartimiento.

Para guardar
Puede dejar la unidad en exhibición o puede guardarla en su caja o en un lugar
fresco y seco.
Para limpiar
Para limpiar la carcasa de la unidad use sólo un paño suave y seco.
NUNCA use líquidos o limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar la unidad.
Las modificaciones no autorizadas por el fabricante pueden anular la garantía.
Nota: Este equipo ha sido ensayado y probado y se ha comprobado que cumple
con los límites de los dispositivos digitales de la Clase B, según la Sección 15 de las
Normas FCC. Estos límites han sido dispuestos para proporcionar una protección
razonable contra las interferencias dañinas en las instalaciones domésticas. Este
equipo genera, usa y puede irradiar energía de radiofrecuencia y, si no se instala y
usa según las recomendaciones, puede causar interferencias dañinas a las
comunicaciones radio. Sin embargo, no hay garantías de que dichas interferencias
no se produzcan en una instalación particular. Si este equipo causara interferencias
dañinas a la recepción de radio o televisión, lo que puede determinarse
encendiendo y apagando el equipo, se anima el usuario a que trate de corregir la
