PANTALLA LCD DE ÍCONOS
La primera línea consta de 12 dígitos, y la segunda línea de los diferentes íconos.
INDICADOR DE BATERÍA BAJA
Cuando la batería está débil, la unidad no funcionará adecuadamente. Cuando la batería esté
totalmente descargada, coloque la unidad en la base por 16 horas para que se recargue por completo.
Si usted está a la mitad de una conversación y la batería está a punto de agotarse, la unidad emitirá
una señal de alerta. Colóquela en la base para recargar.
OPERACIÓN
LLAMADAS SALIENTES
Hacer una Llamada Telefónica
1. Presione el botón TALK (hablar). Escuchará el tono para marcar.
2. Marque el número telefónico.
3. Presione de nuevo este botón cuando termine la llamada.
Marcación Preparada
1. Introduzca el teléfono que desea marcar. (Si se equivoca en algún número puede corregirlo
utilizando el botón DELETE (Borrar). Si no hay presionado ningún número más por 10 segundos, el
número completo introducido se borrará y la unidad regresará a modo de espera).
2. Presione el botón de hablar. El número introducido se marcará automáticamente.
3. Presione el botón de nuevo para terminar la llamada.
Remarcación del Último Número (En Modo de Llamada)
1. El teléfono guarda los últimos 3 números marcados y de hasta 24 dígitos. Si el número excede los
24 dígitos, se almacenará en la memoria.
2. Presione el botón de hablar.
3. Una vez escuche el tono de marcación presione el botón LNR para marcar el último número.

Remarcación de Uno de los Tres Últimos Números (En Modo de Espera)
Presione el botón LNR. El número que marcó por última vez aparecerá en la pantalla. Si desea marcar
uno de los tres últimos números, presione los botones derecha e izquierda para seleccionar el que
desee. Una vez lo tenga, presione el botón de hablar y el número se marcará. (El botón LNR puede
utilizarse también para pasar a través de estos tres números).
Guardar Números Marcados en la Memoria
1. Seleccione el número marcado que desea guardar.
2. Presione y mantenga el botón PHBK por 2 segundos.
3. El espacio después del último dígito del número remarcado parpadeará y usted podrá editar el
número.
4. Una vez lo edite, presione de nuevo el botón PHBK.
5. Introduzca el número donde desea guardarlo (de 00 a 19).
6. Presione PHBK para confirmar.
LLAMADAS ENTRANTES
Cuando esté entrando una llamada, presione el botón Hablar para recibirla.
FUNCIÓN DE MANOS LIBRES
Esta función le permite comunicarse sin tener la unidad en la mano. Cuando esté al teléfono, presione
el botón SPK (Altavoz) para activar esta función. Presione de nuevo para desactivarla.
PROGRAMAR UN NÚMERO EN LA MEMORIA
1. Usted puede programar hasta 20 números en la memoria (de máximo 24 caracteres).
2. Presione y mantenga el botón PHBK hasta que el ícono aparezca en la pantalla.
3. Introduzca el número que desea guardar.
4. Presione el botón PHBK de nuevo para confirmar.
5. Introduzca el número del 00 al 19 donde desea guardarlo.
6. Escuchará un sonido de confirmación y el ícono desaparecerá.
LLAMAR A UN NÚMERO GUARDADO
Presione el botón PHBK seguido del número de memoria de la ubicación (00 a 19).
Presione el botón de hablar. El número guardado se marcará automáticamente.
SILENCIADOR
Si desea desactivar el micrófono durante la conversación para no ser escuchado, usted
puede hacerlo. Presione el botón MUTE (Silenciador) y de esta forma el micrófono se
desactivará. Aparecerá está ícono en la pantalla. Presione de nuevo para reactivar el
micrófono.
VOLUMEN
Ajuste el volumen de la conversación presionando el botón de Volumen de Recepción. Puede ajustarlo
entre 1 y 5.
PAUSA
P-5
Si desea insertar una pausa, presione este botón donde desea pausar por 3 segundos.
FLASH
Al presionar este botón, usted puede cambiar a otra llamada entrante. Debe estar activa esta función
por parte de su operador de telefonía.
Usted puede ajustar el tiempo del flash de la siguiente forma:
1. Presione y mantenga el botón LNR por 3 segundos.
2. La pantalla mostrará: S o L (Corto o Largo).
3. El ajuste de esta función desparecerá después de 2 segundos.
VOLUMEN Y TONO DE TIMBRE
Tono
1. Presione y mantenga el botón de tono hasta escuchar el sonido.
2. Seleccione el sonido que desee con los botones de 1 a 9.
3. Presione de nuevo el botón de tono para confirmar.
Volumen
1. Presione el botón de tono en modo de espera.
2. La unidad sonará con el tono actual.
3. Utilice los botones de desplazamiento para seleccionar el nivel de volumen.
Presione asterisco ( * ) para apagar el volumen. Se mostrará este ícono.
Nota: El volumen de la función manos libres también se puede ajustar de esta forma. Usted puede
ajustar el volumen de cada unidad presionando el botón asterisco en el modo de espera, para que la
unidad no suene.
BLOQUEO DE TECLADO
Los botones se desactivan cuando se bloquea el teclado, a excepción de la tecla misma de bloqueo.
Presione y mantenga el botón # LOCK. Aparecerá el siguiente ícono en la pantalla.
Presione y mantenga de nuevo este botón para desbloquear el teclado.
Cuando haya una llamada entrante y el teclado esté bloqueado, aún puede contestar la llamada y
operar el teclado. Al terminar, se bloqueará de nuevo.
MODO DE MARCADO
Hay dos formas de marcado: DTMF (Tono) y Pulso.
1. Presione y mantenga el botón Recall/Flash por 3 segundos.
2. La pantalla mostrará las letras T o P (Tono o Pulso).
3. El parpadeo desparecerá después de 2 segundos.
INFORMACIÓN DE LLAMADOR (CLIP)

La unidad puede mostrar el número de la llamada entrante. Esta función es posible cuando está activa
por parte de su operador de telefonía. Cuando recibe una llamada, el número se guarda en la lista de
llamadas. La lista puede almacenar hasta 20 números (cada uno hasta de 23 dígitos). Si el número es
más largo de 12 dígitos, puede presionar los botones de desplazamiento para verlo.
NUEVAS LLAMADAS
Cuando reciba una nueva llamada, el símbolo CLIP parpadeará en la pantalla.
CONSULTAR LISTA DE LLAMADAS
Presione el botón de desplazamiento derecho. La última llamada recibida se mostrará en la pantalla.
Si la lista está vacía, aparecerá el mensaje NO en la pantalla.
Usted verá lo siguiente:

Presione el botón PHBK para ver la fecha y hora de la llamada.
Usted puede borrar la lista de llamadas presionando el botón de borrar.
Nota: La información sobre fecha y hora sólo es posible cuando la red ha enviado tal información. De lo
contrario, no se verá.
LLAMAR DE UN NÚMERO DE LA LISTA
1. Busque el número de la lista de llamadas hasta que se vea en la pantalla.
2. Presione el botón de hablar para marcar el número.
BORRAR UN NÚMERO DE LA LISTA
1. Busque el número de la lista de llamadas hasta que se vea en la pantalla.
2. Presione el botón de borrar por 3 segundos.
GUARDAR UN NÚMERO DE LA LISTA EN LA MEMORIA
1. Busque el número de la lista de llamadas hasta que se vea en la pantalla.
2. Presione y mantenga el botón PHBK por 2 segundos.
El espacio después del último dígito parpadeará, y usted puede editar la identificación del llamador.

Después de editar la identificación, presione el botón PHBK de nuevo.
Introduzca el número de 00 a 19 para guardarlo.
Presione PHBK de nuevo para confirmar.
Agregar Nuevos Números a la Memoria

Usted puede agregar hasta 20 números telefónicos en cada unidad. Cada registro puede contener
hasta 24 dígitos.
En el modo de espera haga lo siguiente:
1. Presione y mantenga el botón PHBK hasta que el ícono aparezca en pantalla.
2. Introduzca el número telefónico. Si se equivoca, puede borrar con Delete, o borrarlo por completo
manteniéndolo presionado.
3. Presione el botón PHBK para confirmar.
4. Presione los botones numéricos 00 a 19 para ubicar el número.
5. Escuchará un sonido de confirmación.
El registro ahora se encuentra en la agenda telefónica. Presione INT para volver al modo de espera.
Repita los pasos anteriores para otro registro.
Revisar/Editar/Marcar Números Guardados
En el modo de espera:
1. Presione el botón PHBK.
2. Presione los números que correspondan a la ubicación del número telefónico.
3. Presione el botón hablar para marcar el número.
Mientras que observa el número en la pantalla, si desea editarlo:
1. Presione y mantenga el botón PHBK. Verá lo siguiente:

2. Presione el botón de borrar para los dígitos.
3. Presione de nuevo PHBK para confirmar el cambio.
REGISTRAR UN AURICULAR
Usted puede registrar has 5 auriculares a 1 base. Por defecto, cada auricular está registrado como
auricular 1. Solo necesita registrar los auriculares si:
• Se ha retirado el registro de la base, como por ejemplo, al reiniciar.
• Usted desea registrar otro auricular a la base.
Reinicie la base y el registro tardará 1 minuto.
Durante este periodo, haga lo siguiente para registrar el auricular:
Presione y mantenga el botón CID-derecha por 3 segundos hasta que los íconos de batería y antena

parpadeen, y luego mantenga presionado el botón asterisco ( * ) por 3 segundos.
Verá lo siguiente en la pantalla:
BS-
Introduzca el número de la base del auricular que quiere registrar (1 a 4).
La unidad comenzará a buscar la base y al encontrarla, solicitará el código PIN de 4 dígitos.
Introduzca el código PIN (0000). Si es incorrecto, la unidad volverá a buscar.
Cuando el auricular quede registrado, mostrará las letras HS seguidas del número del auricular.
RETIRAR AL AURICULAR
Usted puede retirar el auricular de la base para registrar otro auricular.
1. Presione y mantenga el botón CID-derecha por 3 segundos, y luego presione y mantenga el botón
de borrar por 3 segundos.
2. Introduzca el código PIN (0000). Si es incorrecto, el auricular volverá a modo de espera.
3. Introduzca el número de 1 a 4 que desea retirar.
4. La unidad volverá a modo de espera si el retiro es correcto. Si no, volverá a solicitar que se coloque
el número de auricular.
TRANSFERENCIA DE LLAMADAS E INTERCOMUNICACIÓN ENTRE DOS
AURICULARES
Durante una llamada externa, presione el botón INT seguido del número 1 a 5 de otro auricular.
HS-1 HS-x
El otro auricular comenzará a sonar.
Cuando esto suceda, podrá hablar entre auriculares.
Si cuelga, la línea externa se conectará a otro auricular.
Si presiona el botón INT por 3 segundos, puede hablar con el segundo auricular y línea externa al
mismo tiempo. Esto crea una conferencia telefónica.
Para hacer una llamada interna:
Presione el botón INT en modo de espera seguido de los números 1 a 5 del otro auricular.
El auricular comenzará a sonar. Presione el botón de hablar para contestar.

HANDSET UNIT
1. Handset Key Layout
This diagram do represents the function of each key, for actual silk-screen on the
cabinet, please refer to silk-screen document.
2. Handset LCD and Icons

3. Battery Low Indication
When the battery is empty, the handset no longer carries out operations. When a battery is
completely empty and you have put the handset on the base unit for 16 hours so that it can be
recharged completely.
When you are in the middle of a conversation and the battery is almost empty, the handset will
emit a warning signal. Place the handset on the base unit to charge.
4. Operation
4.1 Outgoing Calls
4.1.1 Making a phone call
Press <TALK> key. You will hear the dial tone.
Enter the desired telephone number.
Press the <TALK> key again when you want to terminate the call.
4.1.2 Call setup with dial preparation
Enter the desired telephone number. An incorrect number can be corrected by means of the
<DELETE> key. When you haven’t pressed a button for 10 seconds, the number you’ve already
entered will disappear and the handset returns to standby mode.
Press the <TALK> key. The number will be dialed automatically.
Press the <TALK> key again when you want to terminate the call.
4.1.3 Redial the last number dialed – in Talk Mode
Your cordless handset stores the last 3 external numbers dialed, up to 24 digits per number. If
the number exceeds 24 digits, the last 24 digits will be stored to memory.
Press <TALK> key. You will hear the dial tone.
Press the <LNR> key. The number you last called is dialed automatically.
4.1.4 Redial one of the last 3 numbers dialed – in Standby Mode
dial one of the last 3 numbers dialed, press the < ! > or < " > key to select the desired
number appears on the display. Press the <TALK> key, the number shown on the display is
dialed automatically. After finishing your call, press the <TALK> key again to hang up.
Remark: <LNR> key can be used as <! > or < " > key to toggle the last 3 numbers dialed.
4.1.5 Storing redial number to memory
Select your favour redial number that you want to store
Press and hold the <PHBK> key for 2 seconds
The space after the last digit of the redial number will blink, and you can then edit the redial
number.
After editing the redial number, press the <PHBK> key again.
Enter the memory location (00 to 19) where you want to store the number
Press the <PHBK> key again to confirm and to go back to standby mode
4.2 Incoming Calls
When a call comes in, the handset will start to ring. Press the <TALK> key to answer the
incoming call.
4.3 Activate / Deactivate Hands-free Function
This function allows you to communicate without having to pick up the handset. When you are
on the phone, press the <SPK> key to activate the hands-free function. Press the same key to
deactivate the hands-free function.
4.4 Programming a memory number
You can program 20 indirect numbers (of max. 24 digits) in the phone’s memory.
Press and hold the <PHBK> key until the

Press the <PHBK> key again to confirm
Enter the memory location (00 to 19) where you want to store the number
You will hear a confirmation tone and the
icon will disappear
4.5 Calling a memory number
Press the <PHBK> key, followed by the number of the memory location (00 to 19)
Press the <TALK> key. The memory number will be dialed automatically.
Press the <TALK> key again when you want to terminate the call.
4.6 Mute Function
It is possible to deactivate the microphone during a conversation. Now you can speak openly
without being heard by your correspondent.
Press the <MUTE> button during a conversation. The microphone will be deactivated. The [
]
icon appears on the display. Press the <MUTE> key again when you want to continue the
conversation.
4.7 Setting the Volume
During a conversation you can set the volume by pressing the <RECEIVER VOL> key. You can
set the volume alternatively in between (1 to 5) using the <RECEIVER VOL> key.
When you are calling in Handsfree mode and you want to change the volume, press
<RECEIVER VOL> key.
If you wish to insert a pause, press the <PAUSE> key on the location where you want a pause
of 3 seconds.
4.9 Flash
When you press the <FLASH> button, also called flash or recall, the unit generates a line
interruption. It gives you the possibility to use the special services of your telephone provider
and/or to transfer calls when you have a telephone exchange.
4.9.1 Setting the Flash time
Press and hold <Last Number Redial> key for 3 seconds
The display will show: [S] or [L]
The flash time setting will disappear after 2 seconds from the display
4.10 Setting the ringer volume and melody
4.10.1 Handset melody
Press and hold the <RINGER TONE> key until the current melody is heard.
Select the desired melody (1 to 9) by means of the scroll keys
Press the <RINGER TONE> key again to confirm the setting
4.10.2 Handset ring volume
Press the <RINGER TONE> key in standby mode
The handset will ring in the current volume
Use the scroll keys to select the desired volume
Press < * > to turn the volume off and the bell off icon [
] will be on
NOTE: The Handsfree receiver volume is also adjustable as above described!
You can turn the ringer volume of each individual handset ON or OFF by simply press and hold
< * > key in standby mode. The handset unit will never ring!
4.11 Keypad Lock
When the keypad is locked, pressing any key will have no effect during standby (except holding
the <# / LOCK> key).
Press and hold the <# / LOCK> key.
appears on the display and the keypad is locked.
Press and hold the <# / LOCK> key again to un-lock the keypad.
When there is an incoming call, you can still answer the call by pressing the <TALK> key.
During the call, the keypad functions as normal. When the call is ended, the keypad will be
locked again.
4.12 Setting the Dialing Mode
There are two types of dialing mode: DTMF (Tone) and Pulse dialing.
Press and hold <Recall / Flash> key for 3 seconds
The display will show: [T] or [P]
The flash time setting will disappear after 2 seconds from the display
5. Caller-ID Function (CLIP)
The phone displays the telephone numbers of incoming calls. This function is only possible if
you are subscribed to a telephone operator that provides this service. Contact your telephone
provider for more information. When you receive a call, the numbers are saved in a call list. This
list can hold 20 telephone numbers (each of max. 23 digits). If the number is longer than 12
digits, you can press the <CID/"> key to show the other digits.
5.1 New Calls
When you’re received a new unanswered call, the CLIP symbol [
] will blink on the display.
5.2 Consulting the Call List
Press the <CID/"> key. The last received call is shown on the display.
If the list is empty, [NO] is shown on the display.
The following will be shown on the display:
Press <PHBK> key to view the date and time of the Caller ID
You can delete the Call List by pressing the <DELETE> key.
NOTE: Only when the network sends the time/date together with the telephone number!
On some networks with Caller ID, time and date will not be displayed.
5.3 Calling a Number from the Call List
Scroll through the Call List until the desired number is shown on the display. Press the <TALK>
key. The number will be dialed automatically.
5.4 Erasing a Number from the Call List
Scroll through the Call List until the desired number is shown on the display.
Press and hold the <DELETE> key for 3 seconds to erase the number.
5.5 Store a number from the Call Log into the Phonebook Memory
Scroll through the Call List until the desired number is shown on the display.
Press and hold the <PHBK> key for 2 seconds.
The space after the last digit of the Caller ID will blink, and you can then edit the Caller ID
number.
After editing the Caller ID number, press the <PHBK> key again.
Enter the memory location (00 to 19) where you want to store the number.
Press the <PHBK> key again to confirm and go back to standby mode
You can store up to 20 phonebook records in each handset. Each record can contain up to 24
digits per number.
During standby mode,
1. Press and hold <PHBK> key until the icon appears on the display.
2. Press the numeric keys to enter the telephone number.
If you made a mistake, press <DELETE> key to edit it. Press and hold <DELETE> key to delete
the entire number.
3. Press <PHBK> key to confirm.
4. Press the numeric keys to enter the memory location (00 to 19) where you want to store the
number.
5. You will hear a confirmation beep.
The record is now saved into the Phonebook. Press <INT> key to go back to standby mode.
Repeat step 1 to 5 to add another record.
Review / Edit / Dial stored Phonebook records
During standby mode,
1. Press <PHBK> key.
2. Press the numeric keys to view the corresponding Phonebook memory location.
3. Press <TALK> key to dial the number.
While you are viewing the record that you wish to edit,
1. Press and hold <PHBK> key. The display on the below is shown.
2. Press <DELETE> key to erase the digits, or press and hold <DELETE> key to erase the
entire digits.
3. Press <PHBK> key again to confirm the change.
6. Register/De-register a Handset
6.1 Register to a DECT Base
You can subscribe 5 handsets to 1 base unit. By default, each handset is subscribed as
handset 1 on the base unit upon delivery (base unit 1).
You only need to subscribe the handset if:
! The handset subscription has been removed from the base unit (e.g., for re-initialization).
! You want to subscribe a different handset to this base unit.
Reset the base power and the base will be in registration mode for 1 minute.
During this minute, you must do the following to subscribe the handset:
Press and hold <CID/"> key for 3 seconds until both the battery and antenna icons flash, then
press and hold the < * > key for 3 seconds.
The following will appear on the display.
The unit will start searching for the base and when found it will ask to enter the PIN code (4
digits).
Enter the base PIN code (0000). If the PIN is wrong, the handset will restart the searching for
the base.
When the handset is registered, it will show [HS] followed by the handset number.
6.2 Removing a Handset
You can remove a handset from a base to allow another handset to be registered.
Press and hold <CID/"> key for 3 seconds, then press and hold <DELETE> key for 3 seconds.
Enter the base PIN code (0000). If the PIN is wrong, the handset will go back to standby mode.
Enter the handset number (1 to 4) you want to remove.
The unit will go back to standby if the removal is successfully. If not, it will ask again to enter the
handset number.
NOTE: You can only remove other handset in your system but you are not able to remove the
handset you are using.
7. Call Transfer and Intercom between Two Handsets
7.1 Call Transfer and Conference Call during an External Call
During an external call, press the <INT> button followed by the number (1 to 5) of the other
handset.
The other handset will start to ring:
! When the other handset takes the line you can talk internally.
If you hang up, the external line will be connected with the other handset.
If you press and hold the <INT> button for 3 seconds you can talk with the 2nd handset and
external line at the same time (conference call).
! Or press the <INT> button again to return to the external call.
Press the <TALK> key to end the call.

In standby press the <INT> button followed by the number (1 to 5) of the other handset.
The other handset will start to ring. You can stop the ringing by pressing the <TALK> key.
If the other handset answers the call by pressing the <TALK> you can talk internally.
Press the <TALK> to end the call.
