Location Requirements
Your model may differ from the one shown.

Allow at least 12 to 18" (30.5 to 45.7 cm) of space on the side
of the dehumidifier for models with side louvres and above the
dehumidifier for models with top louvres.

You will need a surface strong enough to support the dehumidifier
when its bucket is full of water.

You will need a surface level enough to keep the water from spilling
when the bucket is full of water.

Keep all outside doors, windows and other openings closed when

light indicates that you need to check:

dehumidifier and the light is off, or dehumidifier and the

the display shows the relative humidity of the room.

When the timer is selected, the display shows the time when
the dehumidifier will turn on or turn off, depending on the setting.

Draining the Dehumidifier
1. Grasp the bucket sides to slide out bucket.

If you floor drain is not available, or you do not plan to run your
dehumidifier continuously, you may want to simply empty the bucket.

section tells you how to clean and care for your dehumidifier. Call your local authorized
dealer for an annual cleaning of the dehumidifier. Remember...the cost of this service call

Ajuste de Controles
1. Conéctelo a una salida a tierra de tres postes.
2. Oprima POWER para encender al deshumidificador.
3. Oprima FAN para seleccionar la velocidad del ventilador

1. Oprima MODE para seleccionar la humedad deseada.
2. Seleccione Auto Dry, Continuous o Normal.
■ Auto Dry: El deshumidificador funciona solamente en
éste modo. Auto Fan Speed se ajusta.

El descongelador apaga el compresor en caso de
existir una temperatura baja. Oprimiendo la tecla de
Humedad deseada o las teclas de más o menos no
aumenta o disminuye la cantidad de humedad
removida Cuando el descongelador nota la
temperatura correcta, el compresor re-inicie su ciclo.
1. Oprima la tecla de Más o Menos para activar el programa
de ajuste de la humedad. Parpadean los dígitos de la
pantalla digital.
2. Oprime nuevamente las teclas de Más o Menos para fijar
la humedad deseada.
3. La pantalla digital deja de parpadear cinco segundos
después del ajuste. Se indica la humedad de la habitación.
La pantalla indica la humedad relativa o el horario (dependiendo

La humedad solamente puede ajustarse en el Modo normal.
En los modos Continuous y Auto Dry se fija el nivel de
humedad de manera automática.
■ Cuando el deshumidificador opera en el modo de Humedad
deseada, la pantalla indica la humedad relativa de la

■ Cuando se selecciona el reloj, la pantalla indica la hora
cuando arranca o se apaga el deshumidificador,

1. Cuando se enciende la luz del Monitor del Filtro,
remuévalo, límpielo y colóquelo nuevamente. Ver
“Limpiando el Filtro de Aire“.
2. Oprima FILTER MONITOR después de limpiar y sustituir el
filtro. Esto restablece al monitor

Cuando la luz está encendida, así permanecerá por 180
horas o hasta que oprima FILTER MONITOR. Después de
éste plazo se apagara en forma automática.
1. Oprima HEAT para seleccionar el modo de Heat .

3. Oprima las teclas Más o Menos para seleccionar la
temperatura.
4. Para apagar el modo de Heat, oprima MODE o POWER.
NOTAS:
■ Si la temperatura de la habitación es superior a 30° C (86
°F) se apaga el modo de Heat. El ventilador continúa
funcionando.
■ Si la temperatura de la habitación es 1 °C (2 °F) superior
a la temperatura seleccionada, el modo Heat se apaga.
■ Si la temperatura de la habitación es 1° C (2 °F) inferior a
la temperatura seleccionada, el Heat se enciende.

Oprima ambas teclas de Más o Menos al mismo tiempo para
cambiar de °F a °C.
Esta característica ayuda a bombear el agua de manera
horizontal o vertical con la manguera incluida de 16 pies.
También puede bombear el agua a un drenaje, afuera por la
ventana o en donde Usted considere conveniente.
IMPORTANTE:
Debe conectar la manguera de drenaje a la unidad antes
de oprimir la tecla de Pump. Ver “Drenaje de bomba” para
instrucciones de conexión.
1. Oprima PUMP para activar el sistema de bombeo para un
drenaje activo.
2. Una vez oprimida la tecla de la bomba la luz de la bomba se

■ Si parpadea la luz de la bomba, significa que no está

Su nuevo deshumidificador fue construido para proporcionarle un servicio confiable durante
muchos años. En ésta sección se indica como limpiar y mantener su deshumidificador. Llame
a su distribuidor autorizado l para obtener un servicio de limpieza anual. Recuerde que el
costo de la llamada de servicio es bajo su resposabilidad.
Limpiando el Filtro de Aire
El filtro de aire es removible para una fácil limpieza. Un filtro
limpio ayuda a remover el polvo, la pelusa y otras partículas
del aire,lo cual es importante para un buen funcionamiento.
Revise el filtro cada dos semanas para verificar si requiere
de una limpieza.
4. Jale el canto inferior del filtro hacia fuera del
deshumidificador para liberar la parte baja del
deshumidificador.
1. Apague el deshumidificador.
2. Remueva la cubeta.
3. Jale al filtro de aire desde abajo de la rejilla.
5. Use una aspiradora para limpiar el filtro de aire. Si el filtro
está sucio, puede lavarlo en agua tibia con un detergente
suave..No lave el filtro en la lavavajillas ni use
detergentes químicos. Seque el filtro al aire por completo
para asegurar su máxima eficiencia.
6. Deslice el filtro hacia arriba del deshumidificador.
7. Instale nuevamente a la cubeta.
8. Encienda el deshumidificador.
NOTA:
Solicite que un técnico del servicio autorizado limpie y
dé servicio al serpentin interior del aparato cada año.
1. Apague el deshumidificador.
2. Desempolve la rejilla frontal y los paneles laterales
con una brocha suave o con el dispositivo para polvo
de su aspiradora.
Limpiando el Deshumidificador
Cada par de semanas, lave el interior de la cubeta con un
detergente suave para evitar el crecimiento de moho y
bacterias.
El deshumidificador cuenta con una luz indicadora de cubeta
llena y
con un flotador de nivel de agua. La cubeta debe estar
correctamente alineada con el flotador, a fin de que la luz
indicador de cubeta llena pueda funcionar.
