GETTING STARTED

Remove all components from the package. Items in the pack

include: AAA Bluetooth headset with Ear Hook, Ear Cap, User

Guide. Please check the contents carefully and contact your

local dealer immediately if there are any shortages.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR HEADSET

See image above. Please note some models of headset will

differ slightly in style, color and the functionality may vary

according to their speciﬁcations

INSERT THE AAA BATTERY TO YOUR HEADSET

The headset is powered by one AAA alkaline battery. Please

insert a AAA alkaline battery before use. A new AAA battery

will provide up to 20 hours of talk time and up to 30 days of

standby time.

Please note the talk time and standby time ﬁgures are

best estimates only. Quoted ﬁgures will vary depending

on usage patterns, connecting device (including mobile

phone) and AAA battery speciﬁcations. We recommend

using a high capacity AAA battery (alkaline, rechargeable

NiMH or Lithium) for optimum performance. Rechargeable

NiMH and lithium batteries may provide the lowest long

term cost, despite higher initial costs.

To insert AAA battery

1. Unlock the battery chamber

cover by sliding the lock towards

the Volume DOWN ‘–‘ button.

2. Open the battery chamber by

sliding off the cover away from

the ear piece in the direction of

the arrow.

3. Insert the AAA battery making

sure the Positive (+) end is facing

out of the chamber and hence touching the battery cover.

4. Use the battery cover to push the battery down and slide

the battery chamber cover back into place and lock.

PAIRING THE HEADSET WITH YOUR MOBILE PHONE

Pairing is the process of linking the headset with your

Bluetooth mobile phone. Before you use the AAA headset

with your mobile phone you must pair them. After this

process is completed, you can use the headset only with its

paired mobile phone. If you wish to use the headset with a

different mobile phone, you must repeat the pairing process

with the new mobile phone. In this case, the headset will no

longer work with the original mobile phone.

Please refer to the user manual of your mobile phone for

further information on ‘How to Pair’. Typically, you need

to make your phone ‘Discover’ the headset by using a

“Bluetooth”, “Connect” or “Setup” menu then selecting an

option to “Discover” other Bluetooth devices.

To pair the devices

1. Before you pair the headset, ensure that the battery is

fully charged.

2. Set up your mobile phone to “Discover” your headset.

3. With the headset turned off, press and hold the Talk button

for about 7 seconds until the blue and amber LEDs ﬂash

alternately or until you will hear the “PAIR” tone (the second

of two tones)..

4. Release the Talk button. The headset is now in “Pairing”

Mode.

5. Initiate the device discovery feature on the mobile phone.

Refer to the mobile phone user guide for instructions on

initiating this feature.

6. When prompted by the mobile phone, enter the headset

passkey or PIN code 0000. When pairing is complete, the Blue

LED on headset will ﬂash at three second intervals and the

headset will be placed

If disconnection or a lost link occurs, it may be due to

the following reasons:

a) The range is over 33 feet between the headset and

the mobile phone.

b) The mobile phone disconnected the link to conserve

power or enable another function.

c) Either device has been switched off.

Note: The headset, in normal operation, should maintain the

connection with the mobile phone at all times once pairing

has been successful and a connection has been established

between the two devices.

To cancel pairing mode - While the headset is in pairing

mode, you can cancel the pairing process and turn off the

headset. Press and hold the Talk button for approx 3 seconds.

You will hear an “OFF” tone (two descending “beeps”) and the

Blue LED will ﬂash quickly several times. Release the

Talk button.

FITTING THE HEADSET ON YOUR EAR

The AAA Headset is designed to ﬁt comfortably in your ear.

The ear hook can be ﬁxed into the headset from both sides,

allowing you to position on right or left ear. The ear hook can

be separated from the Headset by simply pulling the base of

the hook away from the main body of the Headset.

The ear hook can then be reinserted in the other direction for

positioning on the opposite ear. The ear hook is ﬂexible and

can be bent to adjust the ﬁt that is best for the individual user.

To replace the ear cap - Stretch the rubber ear cap around

the end of the speaker until secure.

To place the headset on your ear - Place the headset

speaker in your ear with the microphone angled towards

your mouth. The headset should ﬁt snugly in your ear.

SWITCHING ON YOUR HEADSET

To turn on the headset - With the headset turned off, press

and hold the Talk button for about 3 seconds until you hear

the “ON” tone (two ascending “beeps”) or you see the Blue

LED start to ﬂash. Release the Talk button. The headset turns

on and is placed in standby mode, ready to make and receive

calls. After turning on the headset, the headset will try to

connect to the last paired/connected device automatically.

To turn off the headset - With the headset turned on, press

and hold the Talk button for approx 3 seconds. You will hear

an “OFF” tone (two descending “beeps”) and the Blue LED will

ﬂash quickly several times. Release the Talk button.

MAKING CALLS

You can make calls from your mobile phone, or directly from

the headset using voice dialing commands (if this feature is

supported by your mobile phone).

To make calls from your mobile phone - Dial the call from

your mobile phone. Dependent on your mobile phone

settings the call is automatically connected to your headset.

To make calls using VOICE DIALING (if supported by your

mobile phone) - Click the Talk button on your headset. You

will hear a Voice Dial tone possibly followed by the voice-dial

prompt tone from your mobile phone. Speak the name of the

person you wish to call. The call is automatically connected

to your headset.

To make calls using LAST NUMBER REDIAL (if supported by

your mobile phone) - While in standby mode, press and hold

the Volume UP “+” button for about 3 seconds, and you will

hear a “Last Number Redial” tone (single beep); Release the

Volume UP “+” button, the call is automatically connected to

your mobile phone.

RECEIVING CALLS

You must conﬁgure your mobile phone to answer calls

directly on your Bluetooth headset. Refer to the mobile phone

user guide for instructions on initiating this feature.

When you hear your headset ring, click the Talk button on

the headset. The call is automatically connected to your

headset. Please note you can also Reject calls by depressing

the talk button for about 3 seconds. (Not all phones support

this feature)

ENDING CALLS

When you have ﬁnished your call, press the Talk button on

your headset. The call will be disconnected

TRANSFERRING CALLS

You can transfer calls connected to your headset back

to your mobile phone, or from your mobile phone to your

headset. (Not all phones support this feature)

To transfer calls from your headset to the phone or from the

phone to the Headset press the Volume UP “+” button for

more than 3 seconds until you hear a tone. The audio will be

transferred.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

To increase the volume - While on a call, press and release

(click) the Volume UP button “+” to increase volume by 1 step.

Repeat this procedure until you have reached the desired level.

To decrease the volume - While on a call, press and release

(click) the Volume DOWN button “-“ to decrease volume by

1 step. Repeat this procedure until you have reached the

desired level.

MUTING THE HEADSET

You can mute and un-mute the microphone temporarily so

that you cannot be heard by the connected party.

To mute the headset – While on a call, press and hold the

Volume UP button “+” and the Volume DOWN button “-”

concurrently more than 3 seconds, and you will hear a MUTE

tone (Single beep), the microphone is muted.

To un-mute the headset - When microphone is muted, press

and hold Volume UP “+”button and Volume DOWN “-” button

concurrently for 3 seconds, and you will hear a MUTE tone

(Single beep), the microphone is un-muted.

VOICE DIALING

With the headset in standby mode, press and release (click)

the Talk button on the Headset, and you will hear the “Voice

Dial” tone (Two short beeps). Speak the name of the person

you wish to call. The call is automatically connected to your

headset.

LAST NUMBER REDIAL

Whilst in standby mode, press and hold the Volume UP “+”

button for more than 3 seconds, and you will hear a “Last

Number Redial” tone (single long beep); Release the Volume

UP “+” button, the call is automatically connected to your

mobile phone.

VISUAL INDICATORS

The Blue and Amber LEDs will ﬂash when certain operations

(Turn on/off headset, enter pairing mode, and ﬁnish pairing

mode) are initiated. They can also indicate the status of the

headset:

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Please note that you should also be familiar with the

operation of your mobile phone and how to connect to

Bluetooth devices. Please read your mobile phone user guide

carefully. Please note that the Bluetooth headset will only

work with Bluetooth mobile phones. For operation with a PC

or laptop device please note that these devices should also

be Bluetooth enabled with appropriate third party software in

order to enable correct operation.

GUIA DEL USUARIO

INTRODUCCIÓN BÁSICA

Saque todos los componentes de la caja. Los artículos

de la caja son: Audífono Bluetooth AAA con Gancho

auricular, Protector del audífono, Guía del usuario. Revise

el contenido con cuidado y contacte a su distribuidor local

inmediatamente si algo falta.

CONOCIENDO SU AUDÍFONO

Tome en cuenta que algunos modelos de audífonos pueden

ser ligeramente distintos, en estilo, y que las funciones

pueden variar según sus especiﬁcaciones.

COLOCANDO LA PILA AAA EN EL AUDÍFONO

El audífono funciona con una pila alcalina AAA. Antes de

usar ponga una pila alcalina AAA. Una pila alcalina AAA

nueva le dará hasta 20 horas de tiempo de conversación y

hasta 30 días de tiempo en espera.

Tenga en cuenta que el tiempo de conversación y el

tiempo de espera son sólo las aproximaciones más

eﬁcientes. Las cifras ofrecidas pueden variar de acuerdo a

los hábitos de uso, el aparato al cual se conecta (incluso el

teléfono celular) y las especiﬁcaciones de la batería AAA.

Para un óptimo rendimiento, recomendamos utilizar una

batería AAA de alta capacidad (alcalina, NiMH recargable

o de litio). A pesar del alto costo inicial, las baterías NiMH

recargables o de litio pueden brindar el menor costo a

largo plazo.

Para colocar la batería AAA

1. Para destrabar la tapa del

compartimiento de la pila, mueva

el seguro hacia el botón de

BAJAR el Volumen ‘–’.

2. Para abrir el compartimiento

de la pila, deslice la tapa en el

sentido de la ﬂecha.

3. Ponga la batería AAA,

asegúrese de que el lado Positivo (+) sea el lado que

sobresalga del compartimiento, o sea el que toque la tapa

de la batería.

4. Uso la tapa para introducir la pila, vuelva a colocar la tapa

del compartimiento en su lugar y asegúrela.

SINCRONIZANDO EL AUDÍFONO CON EL TELÉFONO CELULAR

La sincronización es el proceso de conexión entre el audífono

y el teléfono celular con Bluetooth. Antes de usar el audífono

AAA con su teléfono celular, deberá sincronizarlos. Después

de completar el proceso, podrá usar el audífono sólo con el

teléfono celular sincronizado. Si quiere usar el audífono con

otro teléfono celular, repita el proceso de sincronización con

el otro celular. En este caso, el audífono ya no funcionará con

el primer teléfono celular. Consulte el manual de su teléfono

celular para más información sobre ‘Cómo sincronizar’.

Para sincronizar el aparato

1. Encienda el teléfono celular, colóquelo a menos de 3

metros ó 10 pies del audífono y asegúrese de que la función

para Bluetooth en el teléfono esté encendida.

2. Encienda el audífono, presione y mantenga el botón

Hablar por 7 segundos aproximadamente. Escuchará un

segundo tono de “SINCRONIZACIÓN” y las luces indicadoras

parpadearán de forma continua para indicarle que el

audífono ha entrado en modo de sincronización.

3. Suelte el botón de Hablar. El audífono estará en

Modo de “Sincronización”.

4. Inicie la función de reconocimiento de aparatos en el

teléfono celular. Consulte la guía del teléfono celular para

leer las instrucciones sobre como iniciar esta función.

5. Cuando el celular se lo pida, ingrese la clave o PIN del

audífono 0000. Cuando la sincronización haya terminado, las

luces indicadoras del audífono parpadearán en intervalos de

tres segundos y el audífono entrará en modo de espera, listo

para hacer y recibir llamadas.

Si se desconecta o la conexión se pierde, puede ser por las

siguientes razones:

a) Hay una distancia de más de 10 m o 33 pies entre el

audífono y el teléfono celular.

b) El teléfono celular cortó la conexión para ahorrar energía o

activar otra función.

c) Uno de los aparatos se ha apagado.

Nota: Si se utiliza de forma normal, después de que la

sincronización se ha realizado correctamente y la conexión

entre ambos aparatos se haya establecido, el audífono debe

mantener la conexión con el teléfono celular en

todo momento.

Para cancelar el modo de sincronización - Cuando el

audífono está en modo de sincronización, puede cancelar el

proceso y apagar el audífono. Presione y mantenga el botón

de Hablar por 3 segundos aproximadamente. Escuchará

un tono de “APAGADO” (dos “pitidos” en bajada) y las luces

indicadoras parpadearán varias veces rápidamente. Suelte

el botón de Hablar.

PARA COLOCAR EL AUDÍFONO EN EL OÍDO

El Audífono AAA se ha diseñado para que se ajuste

cómodamente en el oído. Puede colocar el gancho auricular

en el audífono por ambos lados, así podrá ponérselo en el

oído derecho o izquierdo. Para sacar el gancho del Audífono,

simplemente jale la base del gancho del cuerpo del Audífono.

Luego puede volver a colocar el gancho auricular en el otro

sentido para poder colocarlo en el oído opuesto. El gancho

auricular es ﬂexible y se puede doblar para adaptarlo a la

forma más cómoda para cada usuario.

Para poner el protector del audífono - Estire el protector de

goma alrededor del extremo del audífono hasta que

esté seguro.

Para colocar el audífono en el oído -

Coloque el parlante del

audífono en su oído con el micrófono apuntando en ángulo

hacia su boca. El audífono deberá sentirse cómodo en el oído.

ENCENDIENDO EL AUDÍFONO

Para encender el audífono - Con el micrófono apagado,

presione y mantenga el botón de Hablar por unos 3

segundos hasta que escuche un tono de “ENCENDIDO” (dos

“pitidos” en subida) o hasta que las luces indicadoras azules

empiecen a parpadear. Suelte el botón de Hablar.

El audífono se encenderá y entrará en modo de espera,

listo para hacer y recibir llamadas. Después de encenderlo,

el audífono intentará conectarse automáticamente con el

último aparato con el que ha sido sincronizado/conectado.

Para apagar el audífono - Con el micrófono encendido,

presione y mantenga el botón de Hablar por unos 3

segundos. Escuchará un tono de “APAGADO” (dos “pitidos”

en bajada) y las luces indicadoras parpadearán varias veces

rápidamente. Suelte el botón de Hablar.

PARA HACER LLAMADAS

Puede hacer llamadas desde su celular o directamente desde

el audífono usando marcación por voz o rellamada del último

número (si su teléfono tiene esas funciones).

Marcando desde el teléfono - Cuando marca directamente

de su celular, la llamada se conecta al Audífono

automáticamente.

Marcación por voz (si el celular tiene esa función) - Con

el audífono en modo de espera, presione (haga clic) el

botón de Hablar del Audífono para escuchar el tono de

“Marcación por voz” (Dos pitidos cortos). Diga el nombre de

la persona con quien quiere hablar. La llamada se conectará

automáticamente al audífono.

Rellamada del último número (si el celular tiene esa

función) - En modo de espera, presione y mantenga el botón

para SUBIR el Volumen “+” más de 3 segundos hasta que

escuche el tono de “Rellamada del último número” (un sólo

pitido largo). Suelte el botón para SUBIR el Volumen “+”, la

llamada se conectará automáticamente al teléfono celular.

PARA RECIBIR LLAMADAS

Para contestar las llamadas directamente desde el audífono

Bluetooth, primero deberá conﬁgurar el teléfono. Consulte

la guía del teléfono celular para leer las instrucciones sobre

como iniciar esta función.

Cuando escuche que el audífono está timbrando, presione

el botón de Hablar del audífono. La llamada se conectará

automáticamente al audífono. Tenga en cuenta que también

puede Rechazar llamadas, presione el botón de hablar por

unos 3 segundos. (No todos los teléfonos tienen

esta función).

PARA CORTAR LAS LLAMADAS

Cuando haya terminado con la llamada, presione el botón

de Hablar del audífono. La llamada se desconectará.

TRANSFERENCIA DE LLAMADAS

Puede transferir las llamadas conectadas al audífono de

regreso al teléfono celular, o desde el celular al audífono.

(No todos los teléfonos tienen esta función).

Para transferir las llamadas del audífono al teléfono, o

del teléfono al audífono, presione el botón para SUBIR el

Volumen “+” más de 3 segundos hasta que escuche un tono.

El audio se habrá transferido.

AJUSTE DEL VOLUMEN

Para subir el volumen - En medio de una llamada, presione y

suelte el botón para SUBIR el Volumen “+” para subirlo 1 nivel.

Repita este proceso hasta que llegue al nivel deseado.

Para bajar el volumen - En medio de una llamada, presione

y suelte el botón para BAJAR el Volumen “-” para bajarlo 1

nivel. Repita este proceso hasta que llegue al nivel deseado.

PARA SILENCIAR EL AUDÍFONO

Puede activar y desactivar el sonido del micrófono de forma

temporal para que la otra persona no pueda escucharlo.

Para activar el modo silencio – En medio de una llamada,

presione y mantenga los botones para SUBIR “+” y BAJAR

“-” el Volumen de forma simultánea por más de 3 segundos

hasta que escuche el tono de SILENCIO (un sólo pitido), el

micrófono entrará en modo silencio.

Para desactivar el modo silencio - Con el micrófono en

modo silencio, presione y mantenga los botones para SUBIR

“+” y BAJAR “-” el Volumen de forma simultánea por más de 3

segundos, escuchará el tono de SILENCIO (un solo pitido) y el

micrófono saldrá del modo silencio.

MARCACIÓN POR VOZ

Con el audífono en modo de espera, presione y suelte (haga

clic) el botón de Hablar del Audífono para escuchar el tono de

“Marcación por voz” (Dos pitidos cortos). Diga el nombre de

la persona con quien quiere hablar. La llamada se conectará

automáticamente al audífono.

RELLAMADA DEL ÚLTIMO NÚMERO

En modo de espera, presione y mantenga el botón para

SUBIR el Volumen “+” por más de 3 segundos hasta que

escuche el tono de “Rellamada del último número” (un solo

pitido largo). Suelte el botón para SUBIR el Volumen “+”, la

llamada se conectará automáticamente al teléfono celular.

INDICADORES VISUALES

Cuando se inician ciertas funciones (encender/apagar el

audífono, inicio y ﬁn de modo de sincronización), las luces

indicadoras (dos azules) parpadearán rápidamente varias

veces. También indican el estado del audífono:

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Tome en cuenta que también debe estar familiarizado con

el manejo de su teléfono celular y cómo conectarlo con

aparatos con Bluetooth. Lea cuidadosamente el manual

de su teléfono celular. Tenga en cuenta que el audífono

Bluetooth sólo funcionará con teléfonos celulares habilitados

con Bluetooth. Para usarlo con una PC o computadora

portátil e iniciar una correcta operación, tenga en cuenta

que estos aparatos también deben estar habilitados con

Bluetooth y tener software de terceros correspondiente.
