How to operate your hairsetter
1. Place hairsetter on a firm, flat surface. With
the pouch closed, plug cord into outlet. This
appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
2. Never leave your hairsetter plugged in and
unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter
when not in use. Allow the hairsetter to cool
down after use. Store unit in a safe place.
3. When using the hairsetter, your hair
should be clean and dry (or slightly damp),
never wet.
For use in the U.S.A., the voltage selector
switch should be placed in the 120V position.
For use in several countries overseas, the
voltage selector may need to be placed in the
240V position. Confirm the voltage available
at each overseas location before using the
appliance. For connection to a 240 volt supply,
use an attachment plug adapter of the proper
configuration for the power supply receptacle.
Adjust your setter to the higher voltage by
changing the switch position, located on the
bottom of the back of the unit.
HOW TO STYLE YOUR HAIR
1. Place ends of hair
on roller and wind
toward scalp. Roll
hair up firmly.
Open 4-prong clip,
position on roller,
and gently slide the
clip toward the scalp for a firm hold. Do not
place clip in roller slit.
2. The results are regulated by the temperature
and the length of time the roller is left in your
hair.
3. Leave rollers in hair for 10 minutes or until
rollers are cool before removing.
4. Removing roller: When roller cools, hold
roller in one hand and remove clip with other.
Then gently remove roller from hair (do not
pull) and let hair bounce back after roller has
been completely removed. Let cool for one
minute and then style your hair. These hot
rollers are 2 inches in diameter, which help

smooth and add volume to your hair. The
length of the roller is 30% longer than
traditional rollers. This makes the rollers able to
accommodate more hair.
IMPORTANT: After using the hairsetter
several times, you will find the best timing
for the length and texture of your hair and for
the result you desire.
Jumbo rollers create smooth, sleek lines
for softer, sophisticated hair styles and also
add volume.
STYLING TIPS
For maximum results, use one or two rollers
on the top front layer of your hair. Use the
remaining rollers on the sides and back of
the head. The hair should be taken in equal
sections and rolled under, toward your neck.
After approximately 10 minutes the rollers can
be removed. Let hair cool for one minute and
then style.

entrara completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
2. Nunca descuide ni abandone el aparato
después de encenderlo. Desconecte el
aparato después del uso. Permita que el
aparato se enfríe después del uso. Guárdelo
en un lugar seguro.
3. Su cabello debería estar limpio y seco, o
ligeramente húmedo; no mojado.
Ponga el selector de voltaje en la posición
“120” para uso en los Estados Unidos. Póngalo
en la posición “240” para uso en países con
suministro eléctrico de 220–240V. Averigüe el
voltaje antes de enchufar el aparato. Puede que

Your hairsetter is designed for household
use and is virtually maintenance free. This
product represents the highest standards of
workmanship and engineering research.
If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the
appliance from the power source. Allow the
setter to cool. Clean the unit and the metal
rails with a damp cloth. (Occasionally you may
want to clean the rollers. Use a damp cloth
and mild detergent or soap.) If any abnormal
condition occurs, unplug the hairsetter, allow it
to cool, and return it to an authorized service
representative for repair.
STORAGE
Allow hairsetter to cool. Handle cord carefully
for longer life; avoid jerking or straining at
plug connections. Place hairsetter out of
reach of children in a safe, dry location.
LIMITED THREE-YEAR WARRANTY
(U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your
unit free of charge for 36 months from the date of
purchase if the appliance is defective in workman-
ship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the
defective product to the service center listed on back,
together with your purchase receipt and $5.00 for
postage and handling. California residents need
only provide proof of purchase and should call
1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the
absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period
shall be 36 months from the date of manufacture.
