product must be used in accordance with the following instructions:
1. Read all instructions.
2. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET
IMMEDIATELY AFTER USING.
3. Do not use while sleeping. Avoid falling asleep while using the product.
4. Do not use on an infant or an animal.
5. This pad is not to be used on or by any individual with certain disabilities,
sleeping or unconscious person, or a person with poor blood circulation
unless carefully attended.
6. Do not use on areas of insensitive skin.
7. Burns can occur regardless of control setting; check skin under pad frequently.
8. Never use pad without removable cover in place.
9. Do not use where oxygen is being administered.
10. Do not use pins or other metallic means to fasten this pad in place.
11. Do not sit on or crush pad – avoid sharp folds.
12. Never pull this pad by the supply cord.
13. Do not use the cord as a handle.
14. Carefully examine inner cover and line cord before each use. Discard the
pad if inner covering or line cord shows any sign of deterioration.
15. Do not tamper with this pad in any way. There are no user-serviceable
parts. If, for any reason, this pad does not function satisfactorily, return to
authorized service center at address given.
16. Do not use this pad with liniment, salve or ointment preparations that
contain heat-producing ingredients as skin burns could result. Use
wherever hot applications are desirable for personal comfort, and wherever
recommended by your physician or dentist for the relief of pain.
17. Loop cord loosely when storing; tight wrapping may damage cord and
internal parts.
18. Keep the pad away from heated surfaces.
19. Place pad on top and not under the part of the body needing heat.
20. Do not put this pad in the microwave.
21. Do not leave pad unattended, especially if children are present.
22. Do not use pads underneath bedcovers and other types of blankets.
Do not place covers, such as sheets and blankets, above pads. Only the
cloth cover provided with the pad should be used.
23. Do not use pad on sensitive skin or when taking medication that can cause
sensitive skin.

Cautions:
• This product does not have an automatic off feature. Slide switch to
OFF when done.
• The cloth cover must always be used with the heating pad.
• This heating pad should not be used in the following cases: If you have
diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis and thrombosis,
hemorrhages, inflammation of the skin, undetermined calf pain or joint pain,
or if you have poor circulation. Consult a physician before using if you have
any kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture or persistent pain.
• Consult your physician should you have any therapeutic questions
regarding use of this heating pad.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a
serious muscular injury before consulting your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs
after application.
• Do not use while bathing or showering. Use only in a dry area.
• Consult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition,
including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy or cancer.
• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time,
discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom
of a more serious condition.
• Never use any heating products on open wounds, discolored areas, or any
area of the body that is swollen, burned, bruised, inflamed or where skin
eruptions, ulcerated sores or varicose veins are present.
• This product should never be used by any individual suffering from any
ailments that would limit or altogether inhibit the user’s capacity to feel or
have any sensation in the body part that this product is being used for.
• Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or
discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing
the plug.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
To assemble the heating pad, insert the heating pad completely into the cloth cover
with electric cord extending out from the cloth cover. Align the holes on the heating
pad with cloth cover’s fasten buttons, snap it up to fix the heating pad in place. Plug
the power adaptor into a wall outlet and insert the DC jack from the adapter into the
hand controller.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
HEAT TREATMENT
This heating pad comes assembled.
1. Plug into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. Slide the switch to ON. The power indicator light will illuminate to signal that the
heating pad is on.
3. Set the switch to choose between low and high levels. Start on LOW before
moving to HIGH.
3. Place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.
For smaller areas, such as the knee, place wrap around the area and attach using
the hook and loop fastener. For treatment of larger areas, such as the back, use
the strap to extend the wrap as needed to reach and
cover the treatment area as desired.
4. When treatment is done, slide the switch to
OFF and unplug. Note: This unit does not have
an auto-off feature!

ENSAMBLAJE
Meta la almohadilla caliente en la funda de tela, introduciéndola hasta el fondo y
dejando que el cable salga de la funda. Haga coincidir los orificios en la almohadilla
caliente con los botones en la funda y cierre los botones para sujetar la almohadilla.
Enchufe el adaptador en una toma de corriente, y luego conecte el enchufe DC del
adaptador al control de mano.
INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR
Esta almohadilla térmica viene completamente ensamblada.
1. Conecte el cable a una toma de corriente de 120V AC.
2. Deslice el botón de encendido/apagado hacia "ON". El indicador luminoso se
encenderá para indicar que la almohadilla está calentando.
3. Para encender la función masajeadora, ponga el botón de encendido/apagado
en la posición deseada: "LO" para vibraciones bajas o "HI" para vibraciones
altas. Siempre empiece en "LO" y luego pase a "HI".
3. Coloque la almohadilla sobre el área que desea tratar.
Para tratar áreas pequeñas, como la rodilla, utilice la cinta, sujetada alrededor
del área con el cierre velcro. Para tratar áreas grandes, como la espalda, utilice
la correa para extender la cinta y alcanzar las áreas que
desea tratar.
4. Después de terminar, deslice el botón de encendido/
apagado hacia "OFF" para apagar. Nota: este producto
no se apaga automáticamente.

COLD TREATMENT
1. Ensure heating pad is removed from the wrap.
2. Chill the gel pack as desired.
3. Insert the gel pack into the wrap.
4. Place on top of area to be treated.
5. After use, dry the wrap before storing.
NEVER USE THE COOL PACK WITHOUT THE CLOTH COVER IN PLACE.
Note: During use, check skin under wrap frequently. After use, dry the wrap
before storing.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
The heating pad wrap and strap can be hand-washed, machine washed separately,
or washed in a washing bag to avoid damaging the unit or other articles of clothing.
Prior to washing, remove heating pad and/or gel pack and connect the hook and loop
fasteners on each piece to prevent them from damaging the item during the wash
cycle. Air-dry the wrap and strap; do not tumble dry.

LIMITED THREE YEAR WARRANTY (U.S. ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for
36 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in
workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the
service center listed below, together with your purchase receipt and $3.00
for postage and handling. California residents need only provide proof of
purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the
absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 36 months from
the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 36 MONTH DURATION
OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations
may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS
