PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package

contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to

assemble the product.

Estimated Assembly Time: 50 minutes with two people

Tools Required for Assembly and leak testing (not included): Phillips screwdriver, spray bottle.

SAFETY INFORMATION

• DO NOT use the grill unless it is completely assembled and all parts are securely fastened and tightened.

• Keep all combustible items and surfaces at least 36 in. (91.44 cm) away from the grill at all times.

• DO NOT touch metal parts of grill until it has completely cooled (about 45 minutes) to avoid burns, unless

you are wearing protective gear (pot holders, gloves, BBQ mittens, etc.).

• DO NOT alter this grill in any manner.

• Clean and inspect the hose before each use. If there is evidence of abrasion, wear, cuts, or leaks, the

hose must be replaced prior to operating the appliance. The replacement hose assembly will be that

whichisspeciedbythemanufacturer,listedintherepairpartslistinthismanual.

• Move gas hoses as far away as possible from hot surfaces and dripping hot grease.

• Keep the grill’s valve compartment, burners and circulating air passages clean. Inspect the grill before

• The use of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs may impair the operator’s ability to properly

assemble or safely operate the grill.

6. Attach the cart left and right side panels (D & E)

by placing the panel keyholes over the screw

heads (AA) on the bottom shelf (A). Slide the

cart side panels (D & E) so that the screw head

is over the smaller part of the keyhole. Thread

the screws (AA) down snug but DO NOT tighten

as some slack will be necessary in following

assembly steps.

8. Attach the cart rear panel (F) by sliding the

keyholes in the cart rear panel (F) over the

inserted screws. Slide the cart rear panel (F) down

to meet bottom shelf (A). Secure the cart rear

panel (F) to the bottom shelf (A) with three screws

(AA). Tighten all screws, including the two screws

in cart side panels (D & E).

9. PartiallyinsertfourM6x12screws(AA)intothe

cart side panels (D & E). Attach the upper door

brace (G) by sliding the cut-outs in the upper door

brace (G) over the four screws (AA) and tightening

all four screws (AA).

10.RemovepreassembledM4x10screws(GG)

from the door handles (J). Insert two door handle

sleeves (K) into the holes located on the back

oftheleftdoorassembly(H).InserttwoM4x10

screws (GG) into the door handle sleeves (K)

and into the threaded holes in the door handle

(J). Tighten the screws. Repeat with right door

assembly (I).

11. Attach the left door assembly (H) to the cart

body by aligning the holes in the hinge of the

left door assembly (H) with the holes in the cart

leftsidepanel(D).SecureusingfourM4x10

screws (DD). Tighten all screws. Repeat with

right door assembly (I).

12. Remove preassembled screws (HH) from the lid

handle (U). Attach the lid handle (U) by inserting

twoM6x25screws(HH)frominsidethelidofthe

grillbody(O),throughthelidhandlebezels(V),

into the lid handle (U) and tightening securely.

stems located on the front control panel of the

grill body (O).

14. Lock the back two casters (B) to ensure the cart

doesn’t move. Using two people, carefully place

the grill body (O) over the mounting tabs on

the cart side panels (D & E) and onto the cart.

Adjust the grill body (O) so that the holes in the

grill body (O) are aligned with the holes in the

tabs of the cart side panels (D & E).

NOTE: Make sure the LP gas hose regulator is

inside the cart

15.Securethegrillbody(O)usingtwoM6x20

screws (EE) on each side.

16. Secure the LP gas holder to cart right side

panel(E)usingtwoM4x10screws(DD).

left side of grill body (O). DO NOT fully tighten

18. Align the key holes in the left shelf assembly (P)

with the two screws (FF) just installed in the grill

body(O)andtightenscrews.InsertthreeM6x16

screws (FF) in the remaining holes in the supports

and tighten.

19. Align the side burner tubing with the side burner

oriceandinsertintothesideburnerorice.

20. Attach the ignition wiring to the electrode.

21. Align the key holes on the burner tray with the

side burner cooking grate (Q) and set in place.

WARNING

23. Align the key holes in the right shelf assembly

(R) with the two screws (FF) just installed in

the grill body (O) and tighten screws. Insert

three screws (FF) in the remaining holes in the

supports and tighten.

WARNING: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO

CHECK AND ENSURE THAT EACH AND

EVERY BURNER IS FULLY ENGAGED

WITH THE ADJACENT VALVE ORIFICE

BEFORE COMPLETING STEP 24.

FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT

IN FIRE OR EXPLOSION, POSSIBLY

CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

24. Open the lid of the grill body (O) and place

theveheattents(X)onthebracketsdirectly

above the burners.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

25. Place the three cooking grates (Y) on the grill

body braces and grill rear panel.

26. Insert the warming rack (W) into the two holes

located on the back edge of the grill body (O).

27. Insert the grease pan (S) into position by sliding it

in the grill body (O) from the rear along the rails.

Insert the grease cup (T) into position by sliding

it onto the rails located on the bottom side of the

grease pan (S).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

28. Remove the igniter cap by turning it

counterclockwise. Insert the AA battery (L) into

the igniter body with positive (+) end facing out.

Replace the igniter cap.

29. Open the cart doors and slide the tank shelf (Z)

out of the cart, and insert the LP gas cylinder

(sold separately) into the nesting hole located in

the tank shelf (Z). Tighten the tank screw until the

cylinder is secure inside the nesting hole of the

tank shelf (Z).

30. Push the tank shelf (Z) back into the cart and

secure it by twisting the locking tab. Hand-tighten

the hose/regulator coupling to the threaded valve

of the LP gas cylinder.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Checking for Leaks

Afterallconnectionsaremade,checkallconnectionsandttingsontheLPgastankvalve,gashose

and regulator for leaks with a water and soap solution.

Topreventreorexplosionwhiletestingforaleak:

• Always perform leak test prior to lighting the grill.

• Do not smoke while testing for a leak.

• Always perform leak tests outdoors in a well-ventilated area.

•Donotuseanysourceofamewhiletestingforleaks.

• Do not use the grill until any and all leaks are corrected.

• If you are unable to correct a leak, disconnect the propane supply and call a gas appliance service

dealer.

Perform Leak Test

• Prepare leak test solution by combining 1 part liquid dish soap with 3 parts water. Total solution

requiredisapproximately2-3ounces(70-90ml).Putleaktestsolutioninaspraybottle.

• Ensure all control knobs are in the O OFF position.

• Connect the gas hose to the gas supply.

• Open the LP gas tank valve.

•Sprayleaktestsolutiononallgascarryingconnectionsandttings.Presenceofbubblesatareasof

applied test solution indicates a gas leak. If leaks are detected or you smell or hear gas, shut off the

gas supply valve immediately and repair or replace the defective part. Do not use the grill until all

leaks are corrected.

Use only the regulator and hose assembly provided. If a replacement is necessary, please call our

customer service center. DO NOT use replacement parts that are not intended for this grill.

Connecting Gas Cylinder

The propane gas supply cylinder to be used must be constructed and marked in accordance with the

SpecicationsforLPGasCylindersoftheU.S.DepartmentofTransportation(D.O.T.)ortheNational

Standard of Canada, CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes for Transportation of Dangerous

Goods;andCommission,asapplicable;andprovidedwithalistedoverllingpreventiondevice.

Use only 20-lb. cylinders (height: 18.11 in. (46 cm), tank diameter: 9.84 in. (25 cm), foot diameter:

8.03 in. (20.4 cm) equipped with a cylinder connection device compatible with the connection for

outdoor cooking appliances.

The cylinder must include a collar to protect the cylinder valve. The gas cylinder should not be

dropped or handled roughly!

If the appliance is not in use, the gas cylinder must be disconnected. Storage of an appliance indoors

is permissible ONLY if the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the appliance. Cylinders must be

stored outdoors out of the reach of children and must not be stored in a building, garage or any other

enclosedarea.Yourcylindermustneverbestoredwheretemperaturescanreachover125°F(51.67˚C).

Place dust cap on cylinder valve outlet whenever the cylinder is not in use. Only install the type of

dust cap on the cylinder valve outlet that is provided with the cylinder valve. Other types of caps or

plugs may result in leakage of propane.

Before connection, be sure that there is no debris caught in the outlet of the gas cylinder, outlet of

the regulator valve or in the outlet of the burner and burner ports. Connect regulator valve and hand-

tightenrmly.Keepthepropanecylindervalveclosedanddisconnectthepropanecylinderfromthe

regulator valve when the grill is not in use.

DO NOTobstructtheowofcombustionairandventilationairtothegrill.Thepropanecylindermust

bearrangedforvaporwithdrawalandequippedwithalistedoverllingpreventiondevice.Pleaseuse

the proper cylinder orientation to provide vapor withdrawal. NOTE: The cylinder must be fully upright

for the cylinder to have vapor withdrawal only.

NOTE: Other cylinders may be acceptable for use with this appliance provided they are compatible

with the appliance nesting hole and retention means. Refer to Step 29 of the Assembly Instructions

for correct cylinder to cylinder holder connection.

Connecting the LP Tank

1. The knob on the LP tank must be closed. Make sure that the knob is turned clockwise to a full stop.

The cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapor withdrawal.

2. Check that the control knob on the control unit is turned off.

3. Remove the protective cap from the LP tank valve and coupling nut.

4. Hold the regulator in one hand and insert the nipple into the valve outlet.

Be sure the nipple is centered in the valve outlet. The coupling nut

connects to the large outside threads on the valve outlet. Use care – do

not cross thread the connection.

5. Hand-tighten the coupling nut clockwise until it comes to a full stop.

Firmly tighten by hand only. Do not use tools.

To Disconnect: Fully close the tank valve by turning clockwise. Turn the

coupling nut counterclockwise until the regulator assembly detaches.

Lighting Instructions (For all burners, including side burner and rotisserie burner)

Beforerstuse:

Remove all hangings or plastic straps, if present. Before you cook on your new gas grill, it is important

tocleanyourgrillwithheat.Todothis,operatethegrillforapproximately15minuteswiththelid

closed and the control knob in the highest position. This will clean the internal parts by burning off any

residue and odor from the manufacturing process.

Important: If your grill is equipped with a rotisserie burner, only that burner should be used for

cooking when the rotisserie is mounted and in operation. The main burners on the grill must be turned

OFF when the rotisserie burner is in use.

Important: DO NOT use the rotisserie burner and the main burner at the same time while using the

rotisserie. DO NOT use side burners and the rotisserie simultaneously.

Read instructions before lighting.

1. Check that the control knobs are in the O OFF position.

2. Open lid during lighting.

3. Open valve at tank fully by turning counterclockwise.

4. Push igniter down 3 to 4 seconds while turning the desired control knob to the high position. The

burner should ignite.

NOTE: When lighting the rotisserie burner, the control knob must be pushed in and turned to the

high position. Push igniter down 3 to 4 seconds while continuing to depress the rotisserie burner

control knob in the high position. Once the rotisserie burner has ignited, continue to depress the

control knob for an additional 30 seconds. The rotisserie burner should then stay ignited.

If ignition of any burner does not take place within 5 seconds, immediately turn the control knob to

the O OFF position. Wait 5 minutes and repeat step 4 above or refer to match lighting instructions in

manual.

5. Repeat Step 4 above to ignite all other burners.

DO NOT lean over grill when lighting. Read instructions before lighting.

WARNING

Iftheameextinguishesaccidentallyduringignitionoroperation,immediatelyTURNOFFthe

cylinder valve and then TURN OFF the control knobs.

Lighting the Grill with a Match

1. Open the lid.

2. Insert a match in the end of the match holder that is

installed on the inside of the cabinet door.

3. Light the match.

4. Immediately place the lit match through the 0.75 in.

(20 mm) hole on the side of the grill body, nearest

the left burner. Make sure the lit match is close to the

burner ports.

5. Press in the control knob that operates the burner and

rotate counterclockwise to High position and burner

should light immediately.

6. The other main control can now be turned on the High

position by sequence and will light via crossover port.

7. Adjust burners to desired cooking settings.

NOTE: When lighting the rotisserie burner, the control

knob must be pushed in and turned to the high position.

continuing to depress the rotisserie burner control knob in

the high position. Once the rotisserie burner has ignited,

continue to depress the control knob for an additional 30

seconds. The rotisserie burner should then stay ignited.

Shutdown Instructions

1. Turn control knobs clockwise to the O "OFF" position.

2. Close valve at tank fully by turning clockwise.

3. Close lid.

Make sure all burner controls are off, except for the

burner being lit and the burners that have been lit.

Cooking Grates

Thebesttimeto‘burn-off’thecookinggratesisaftereveryuse(approx.15minutes).Thegrillis

already hot from cooking thus requiring less fuel to obtain necessary temperature for ‘burn-off’.

To ‘burn off’ or heat clean your grill, turn the burners to highest position and run for 15 minutes with

thelidclosed.Thenturnofftheburnersanduseawirebrushtocleanexcessfoodresiduefromthe

grates.Theporcelaingrateshaveanenamelnish(similartoglass)andshouldbehandledwithcare

not to chip. Turn off, unplug, and remove the rotisserie kit when not in use. After using, clean all metal

parts by wiping clean using a damp rag. Do not immerse any parts in water. Wipe completely dry

before storing. Store in a dry place.

Recommended Cleaning Supplies

Mild liquid dish soap, warm water, nylon cleaning pad, and a wire brush.

DO NOT use cleaners that contain acid, mineral spirits or any abrasive substance.

Outside Surfaces

It is recommended to use only mild dish soap and hot water to clean grill and grill parts. Rinse with

warm water.

Inside Bottom Pan of Grill Body

Toavoidare-ups,thebottompanofthecookingboxshouldbekeptcleanonaregularbasis.

Remove residue using a brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad. Wash with mild dish soap and warm

water. Rinse with warm water. Avoid water splashing into venturi tubes of burners.

Heat Tents

Clean residue with wire brush and wash with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse with warm water.

Grease Cup

Empty the grease cup and clean with mild dish soap and warm water on a regular basis.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Ensure the grill is cool before cleaning and conducting maintenance. Ensure the gas supply is

turned off at the LP cylinder.

Removing the Burner Assembly

1. Make sure all control knobs are in the OFF position,

gas supply valve is closed, and the gas hose is

disconnected from the gas supply.

2. Open lid and remove warming rack, cooking grates,

and heat tents.

3. Remove cotter pins at back of burners to detach

burners from brackets.

4.Slideburnersoutofrebox.

5. Detach ignition wire from ignitor as shown.

Cleaning the Burner Assembly

1. Make sure the grill is cool. Turn gas off at the control knobs and propane tank.

2. Disconnect LP gas cylinder from hose and regulator.

3. Remove warming rack, cooking grates and heat tents.

4. Detach burner by removing the cotter pins at the back of the burners to detach them from the

brackets.

5. Detach ignition wire from electrode by hand only. DO NOT use pliers or any other tool as it may

damage the electrode or wire.

6. Lift burner slowly.

7. Ensure all burner ports are clear of clogs. Use of a pin or paper clip works well.

8. Ensure burner is free of any damage. If damage is found, replace with new burner.

9. Ensure the end of the burner and primary air screen are clear from insect nests, dirt or debris.

3. It is recommended to view the correct position through

thereboxventholes.

Other Care and Maintenance

• It is recommended that inspection and service on this appliance be conducted annually by a

qualiedserviceperson.

• It is recommended that you regularly check that the outdoor cooking appliance area is clear and free

fromcombustiblematerial,gasolineandotherammablevaporsandliquids.

•Itisrecommendedthatyouregularlycheckthattheowofcombustionandventilationairisnot

obstructed.

• It is recommended that you regularly check that the ventilation openings of the cylinder enclosure

(cabinet) are free and clear from debris.

• It is recommended that you regularly check and clean the burner/venturi tubes for insects and insect

The electronic ignition requires one "AA" alkaline battery, which is included.

damaged parts at the time of purchase. It is warranted to be free of defects. Paint is warranted to be

Thiswarrantydoesnotcoverdamageorissuesrelatedtoneglect,abuse,ormodicationstothe

appliance. Repair labor is not covered.

All parts that meet the warranty requirements will be shipped at no charge via the discretion of the

•Nefumezpaslorsquevousvériezlaprésencedefuites.

•Procédeztoujoursàladétectiondesfuitesàl’extérieur,dansunendroitbienaéré.

•N’utilisezaucunesourcedeammelorsquevousvériezlaprésencedefuites.

•N’utilisezpaslebarbecuetantquelesfuitesn’ontpastoutesétécolmatées.

•Sivousnepouvezcolmaterunefuite,débranchezimmédiatementl’alimentationetappelezun

service de réparation d’appareils.

Véricationdesfuites

•Préparezunesolutionandeprocéderàlavéricationdesfuites;mélangezunepartdesavonà

vaisselleliquideettroispartsd’eau.Vousaurezbesoind’environ70à90ml(2à3oz)deliquide.

Versezlasolutionenquestiondansunvaporisateur.

•Assurez-vousquetouslesboutonsdecommandessontàlapositionO«OFF»(arrêt).

•Branchezletuyaudegazàl’alimentationengaz.

•Ouvrezlerobinetdelabouteilledegazdepétroleliquéé.

•Vaporisezlasolutionsurtouslesbranchementsetlesraccordsdanslesquelscirculedugaz.La

présencedebullesàunendroitoùvousavezappliquélasolutiond’eausavonneuseindiqueune

fuitedegaz.Sivousdétectezouentendezunefuite,ousivoussentezuneodeurdegaz,fermez

immédiatementlerobinetd’alimentationengazetréparezouremplacezlapiècedéfectueuse.

N’utilisezpaslebarbecuetantquelesfuitesn’ontpastoutesétécolmatées.

Raccord de la bouteille de gaz

Labouteilledegazdepétroleliquééutiliséedoitêtrefabriquéeetidentiéeconformémentaux

normespourlesbouteillesdegazdepétroleliquééduU.S.DepartmentofTransportation(D.O.T.)

ouàlanormenationaleduCanadaetinstructionsCAN/CAS-B339,«Bouteillesettubesutiliséspour

le transport des marchandises dangereuses », le cas échéant, et munie d’un dispositif de protection

contre les débordements.

Utilisezuniquementdesbouteillesde9,07kg(hauteur:45,99cm(18,11po),diamètreduréservoir:

24,99 cm (9,84 po), diamètre de la base : 20,40 cm (8,03 po) dotées d’un dispositif de raccord de

bouteillecompatibleavecleraccorddesappareilsdecuissonàl’extérieur.

Labouteilledoitcomporteruncolletprotecteurpourlerobinetdelabouteille.Prenezsoindenepas

échapperlabouteilledegaznidelamanipulerrudement.Déconnectezlabouteilledegazlorsque

l’appareiln’estpasutilisé.Ilestpermisd’entreposerl’appareilàl’intérieurUNIQUEMENTsila

bouteilledegazestdéconnectéeetretiréedel’appareil.Lesbouteillesdoiventêtreentreposéesà

l’extérieurethorsdelaportéedesenfants.Ellesnedoiventpasêtreentreposéesdansunbâtiment,

un garage ou tout autre espace fermé. Il ne faut jamais entreposer votre bouteille dans un endroit

oùlatempératurepeutexcéder51,67°C(125°F).Mettezlecapuchonprotecteursurletuyaude

sortiedurobinetdelabouteillelorsquecelle-cin’estpasutilisée.Utilisezuniquementdescapuchons

protecteurs du même type que celui fourni avec le robinet de la bouteille. D’autres types de capuchon

ou de bouchon peuvent laisser fuir le propane.

Avantdefaireleraccord,assurez-vousqu’aucundébrisn’obstrueletuyaudesortiedelabouteille

degaz,dumanodétendeur,dubrûleuroudesoricesdubrûleur.Raccordezlemanodétendeuret

resserrez-leàlamainfermement.Fermezlerobinetdelabouteille,puisdéconnectezlabouteillede

propane du manodétendeur lorsque le barbecue n’est pas utilisé.

N’entravezPASleuxd’airdecombustionetdeventilationserendantaubarbecue.Labouteillede

propane doit être munie d’un système permettant le retrait de la vapeur et d’un dispositif reconnu de

préventiondestrop-pleins.Veuillezorienterlabouteilledanslesensindiquépourpermettreleretrait

de la vapeur.

êtreplacédefaçonàpermettrel’évacuationdupropaneàl’étatgazeux.

2.Vériezqueleboutondecommandedudispositifdecommandedu

brûleurestàlaposition«OFF»(arrêt).

3.Retirezlecapuchondeprotectiondurobinetdelabouteilledegazde

pétroleliquééetdel’écroud’accouplement.

4.Tenezlerégulateurdansunemainetinsérezlemamelondansletuyau

de sortie.

Assurez-vousquelemamelonestbiencentrédansletuyaudesortie.

L’écroud’accouplementsevissesurlesletsextérieursdegrande

dimensiondutuyaudesortie.Faitesattentiondenepasfausserleletageduraccord.

5.Serrezl’écroud’accouplementàlamaindanslesensdesaiguillesd’unemontrejusqu’àcequ’ilne

soit plus possible de le tourner davantage.

Vissez-lefermementàlamainseulement.N’utilisezpasd’outils.

Pour couper l’alimentation :Fermezcomplètementlerobinetdelabouteilleenletournantdansle

sensdesaiguillesd’unemontre.Tournezl’écroud’accouplementdanslesenscontrairedesaiguilles

d’unemontrejusqu’àcequel’ensemblederégulateursedétache.

Avant la première utilisation :

Retireztoutl’emballageetlescourroiesdeplastique,lecaséchéant.Avantd’utiliservotrenouveau

barbecueaugaz,ilestnécessairedelenettoyeràlachaleur.Pourcefaire,faitesfonctionnerle

barbecuependantunequinzainedeminutes;lecouvercledoitêtreferméetleboutondecommande,

àlapositionmaximale.Decettefaçon,lachaleurbrûleratouslesrésidusetdissiperal’odeur

provenant du processus de fabrication, nettoyant ainsi les pièces internes.

Important :Sivotrebarbecueestmunid’unbrûleurdetournebroche,utilisezseulementcebrûleur

pourlacuissonlorsqueletournebrocheestenmarche.Éteignezlesbrûleursprincipauxdubarbecue

lorsque le brûleur du tournebroche est en marche.

1.VériezquelesboutonsdecommandesontàlapositionO « OFF » (arrêt).

2.Ouvrezlecouverclelorsquevousprocédezàl’allumage.

3.Ouvrezcomplètementlerobinetdelabouteilleenletournantdanslesenscontrairedesaiguilles

d’une montre .

4.Enfoncezl’allumeurpendant3ou4secondestoutentournantleboutondecommandesouhaitéà

la position «High»(maximale).Lebrûleurdevraits’allumer.

REMARQUE:Lorsquevousallumezlebrûleurdetournebroche,vousdeveztournerleboutonde

commande en position élevée.Enfoncezl’allumeurpendant3à4secondestoutenmaintenantle

bouton de commande du brûleur de tournebroche enfoncé en position élevée. Une fois le brûleur

detournebrocheallumé,maintenezleboutondecommandeenfoncépendant30secondes.Le

brûleur de tournebroche devrait ensuite demeurer allumé.

Siunbrûleurnes’allumepasdansundélaide5secondes,tournezimmédiatementleboutonde

commande en position O«OFF»(arrêt).Attendez5minutes,puisrépétezl’étape4ci-dessusou

consultezlesinstructionsdumanuelpourl’allumageavecuneallumette.

5.Répétezl’étape4ci-dessuspourallumertouslesautresbrûleurs.

Ne vous penchez pas au-dessus du barbecue lorsque vous l’allumez. Lisez les directives avant

d’allumer le brûleur.

AVERTISSEMENT

Silaammes’éteintaccidentellementpendantl’allumageoul’utilisationdubarbecue,FERMEZ

immédiatement le robinet de la bouteille de propane, puis FERMEZ les boutons de commande du brûleur.

4.Insérezsanstarderl’allumetteenamméedansletrou

de 19,05 mm (0,75 po) situé sur le côté du corps du

barbecueleplusprèsdubrûleurgauche.Assurez-vous

quel’allumetteenamméeestprèsdesoricesdu

brûleur.

5.Appuyezsurleboutondecommandeliéaubrûleuret

tournez-ledanslesenscontrairedesaiguillesd’une

montreàlaposition«High»(maximale);lebrûleur

devrait s’allumer immédiatement.

6.Vouspouvezensuitetournerl’autreboutonde

commandeprincipalàlaposition«High»(maximale)

etl’allumages’effectueragrâceauportcroisé.

7.Réglezlesbrûleursàl’intensitédecuissondésirée.

REMARQUE:Lorsquevousallumezlebrûleur

detournebroche,vousdeveztournerleboutonde

commande en position élevée tout en maintenant le

bouton de commande du brûleur de tournebroche enfoncé

en position élevée. Une fois le brûleur de tournebroche

allumé,maintenezleboutondecommandeenfoncé

pendant 30 secondes. Le brûleur de tournebroche devrait

ensuite demeurer allumé.

Instructions pour l’arrêt

Assurez-vous que tous les boutons de commande des

brûleurs sont en position d’arrêt, sauf le brûleur en

Grilles de cuisson

Ilestrecommandédebrûlerlesrésidussurlagrilledecuissonenvironquinzeminutesaprès

chaqueutilisation.Lebarbecueestencorechaudetnécessitedoncmoinsdegazpouratteindrela

chaleur nécessaire pour brûler les résidus. Pour brûler les résidus ou nettoyer votre barbecue par la

chaleur,allumezlesbrûleursàlapositionmaximaleetlaissez-lesfonctionnerpendant15minutes,

lecouvercledubarbecuefermé.Ensuite,éteignezlesbrûleursetutilisezunebrossemétalliquean

Éteignez,débranchezetretirezletournebrochelorsqu’iln’estpasutilisé.Nettoyeztouteslespièces

métalliquesàl’aided’unlingehumideaprèsleurutilisation.N’immergezaucunepiècedansl’eau.

Essuyezcomplètementl’appareilavantdeleranger.Rangez-ledansunendroitsec.

Produits de nettoyage recommandés

Savonàvaisselleliquidedoux,eautiède,tamponàrécurerennylonetbrossemétallique.N’utilisez

PAS de produits nettoyants contenant de l’acide, de l’essence minérale ou toute substance abrasive.

vouspourriezendommagerl’électrodeoulel.

6.Soulevezlentementlebrûleur.

7.Assurez-vousqu’aucundesoricesdubrûleurn’estbouché.Pourcefaire,utilisezuneépingleou

un trombone.

8.Assurez-vousquelebrûleurn’estpasendommagé.Lecaséchéant,remplacez-leparunnouveau

brûleur.

9.Assurez-vousquel’extrémitédubrûleuretleltreàairprincipalsontexemptsdenidsd’insectes,

de poussière ou de débris.

L’allumage électronique nécessite une pile alcaline AA incluse.

28. Retire la tapa del encendedor girándola en

dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj.

Inserte la batería AA (L) en el cuerpo del

encendedorconelextremopositivo(+)hacia

afuera. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del encendedor.

29. Abra las puertas del carrito y deslice la repisa

del tanque (Z) hacia fuera e inserte el cilindro de

gasPL(sevendeporseparado)eneloriciode

alojamiento ubicado en la repisa del tanque (Z).

Apriete el tornillo de retención del tanque hasta

queelcilindroestésegurodentrodeloriciode

30. Presione la repisa del tanque (Z) de vuelta en

elcarritoyfíjelagirandolalengüetadejación.

Apriete a mano el acoplador de la manguera/

regulador a la válvula roscada del cilindro de

gas PL.

Revisión de fugas

Despuésdehacertodaslasconexiones,veriquequeningunadelasconexionesylosconectores

de la válvula del tanque de gas PL, la manguera de gas ni el regulador tenga fugas con una solución

de agua y jabón.

Paraevitarincendiosoexplosionesmientrasrealizalapruebadefugas:

• Siempre realice la prueba de fugas antes de encender la parrilla.

•Nofumemientrasrealizalapruebadefugas.

•Siemprerealicelaspruebasdefugasenexteriores,enunáreabienventilada.

•Nouseningunafuentedefuegomientrasrealizalapruebadefugas.

• No use la parrilla hasta que corrija todas las fugas.

• Si no puede corregir una fuga, desconecte el suministro de propano y llame a un proveedor de

servicios de electrodomésticos a gas.

Realice una prueba de fugas

•Prepareunasolucióndepruebadefugasmezclando1partededetergentelíquidoparaplatosy3

partesdeagua.Lasolucióntotalqueserequiereesaproximadamente59,15a88,72ml(2a3oz).

Coloquelasoluciónparapruebasdefugasenunatomizador.

• Asegúrese de que todas las perillas de control estén en la posición O "OFF" (APAGADO).

• Abra la válvula del tanque de gas PL.

Conexión del cilindro de gas

Elcilindrodesuministrodegaspropanoqueseutilizarádebeestarfabricadoymarcadosegúnlas

especicacionesparacilindrosdegasPLdelDepartamentodeTransportedeEE.UU.(D.O.T.,por

sus siglas en inglés) o la Ley nacional de Canadá, CAN/CSA-B339, cilindros, esferas y tubos para el

transporte de mercancías peligrosas; y la Comisión, según corresponda; y debe incluir un dispositivo

de prevención de sobrellenado homologado.

Use solo cilindros de 9,07 kg (20 lb) (altura: 46 cm (18,11 pulg), diámetro del tanque: 24,99 cm

(9,84pulg),diámetrodelabase:20,40cm(8,03pulg),equipadoconundispositivodeconexiónpara

elcilindrocompatibleconlaconexiónparaelectrodomésticosparacocinarenexteriores.

El cilindro debe incluir un anillo para proteger su válvula. No debe dejar caer el cilindro de gas ni

manipularlo bruscamente.

Sinoutilizaelelectrodoméstico,debedesconectarelcilindrodegas.Puedealmacenarlaunidad

en el interior SOLO si desconecta y retira el cilindro del electrodoméstico. Los cilindros se deben

almacenarenelexterior,fueradelalcancedelosniños,ynodebenalmacenarseenunedicio,

garaje o cualquier otra área cerrada. El cilindro nunca se debe almacenar en lugares en que las

temperaturas puedan superar los 51,7 ºC (125 °F).

Coloque la tapa para polvo en la salida de la válvula del cilindro cuando no esté en uso. Solo instale

el tipo de tapa para polvo que se proporciona con la válvula del cilindro en la salida de la válvula del

cilindro. Otros tipos de tapas o tapones pueden causar una fuga de propano.

Antesdelaconexión,asegúresedequenohayasuciedadenlasalidadelcilindrodegas,lasalida

delaválvuladelreguladoroenlasalidaylosoriciosdelosquemadores.Conectelaválvuladel

reguladoryapriételarmementeconlamano.Mantengalaválvuladelcilindrodepropanocerraday

Conexión del tanque de PL

1. La perilla del tanque de gas propano debe estar cerrada. Asegúrese

de girar la perilla en dirección de las manecillas del reloj hasta que se

detenga por completo. Se debe adaptar el sistema de suministro del

cilindroparalaextraccióndevapores.

2.Veriquequelaperilladecontrolenlaunidaddecontrolestéapagada.

3. Retire la tapa protectora de la válvula del tanque de gas propano y la

tuerca del conector.

4. Sostenga el regulador con una mano e inserte la boquilla en la salida

de la válvula. Asegúrese de que la boquilla esté centrada en la salida

delaválvula.Latuercadelconectorseconectaalasroscasexternas

grandes en la salida de la válvula. Tenga cuidado, no dañe las roscas

delaconexión.

5. Apriete a mano la tuerca del conector en dirección de las manecillas del reloj hasta que se detenga

por completo. Apriete bien, a mano solamente. No use herramientas.

Para desconectar: Cierre completamente la válvula del tanque girándola en dirección de las

manecillas del reloj. Gire la tuerca de acoplamiento en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj

hasta que el ensamble del regulador se desprenda.

Instrucciones de encendido (para todos los quemadores incluidos el quemador lateral y el

Antes del primer uso:

Retire todo elemento colgante o correas de plástico, si las hay. Antes de cocinar en la nueva parrilla

a gas, es importante limpiar la parrilla con calor. Para hacerlo, haga funcionar la parrilla durante

aproximadamente15minutosconlatapacerradaylaperilladecontrolenlaposiciónmásalta.Esto

Lea las instrucciones antes de encender la parrilla.

1.VeriquequelasperillasdecontrolesténenlaposicióndeapagadoO.

2. Abra la tapa durante el encendido.

3. Abra completamente la válvula del tanque girándola en dirección contraria a las manecillas del

reloj .

4. Presione el encendedor 3 a 4 segundos mientras gira la perilla de control deseada a la posición

alta . El quemador debe encenderse.

NOTA:Cuandoenciendaelquemadorrostizador,laperilladecontroldebepresionarseygirarseala

posición alta (llama). Presione el encendedor 3 a 4 segundos mientras sigue presionando la perilla

decontroldelquemadorrostizadorenlaposiciónalta (llama).Unavezqueelrostizadorse

encienda,mantengapresionadalaperilladecontroldurante30segundosmás.Elrostizadordebe

permanecer encendido.

Si alguno de los quemadores no enciende en 5 segundos, gire de inmediato la perilla de control

a la posición de apagado O. Espere 5 minutos y repita el paso 4 o consulte las instrucciones de

encendido en el manual.

5. Repita el paso 4 que aparece anteriormente para encender los otros quemadores.

No se incline sobre la parrilla al encenderla. Lea las instrucciones antes de encender la parrilla.

ADVERTENCIA

Si la llama se apaga de manera accidental durante el encendido o el funcionamiento, CIERRE

inmediatamente la válvula del cilindro y las perillas de control.

Encendido de la parrilla con un fósforo

1. Abra la tapa.

2.Coloqueunfósforoenelextremodelportafósforos

4.Inmediatamenteintroduzcaelfósforoencendidoen

eloriciode1,91cm(0,75pulg)enelcostadodel

cuerpo de la parrilla que está más cerca del quemador

izquierdo.Asegúresedequeelfósforoencendidoesté

cercadelosoriciosdelquemador.

5. Presione la perilla de control que opera el quemador y

gírela en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj

hasta la posición High (alta) y el quemador debería

encenderse de inmediato.

6. Las otras perillas de control principales se pueden

girar ahora a la posición High en secuencia y estas se

encenderánatravésdelpuertocruzado.

7. Regule los quemadores según el nivel de cocción

deseado.

NOTA:Cuandoenciendaelquemadorderostizado,la

perilla de control debe presionarse y girarse a la posición

alta (llama). Mantenga presionada la perilla de control del

quemadorderostizadoenlaposiciónalta.Unavezque

elrostizadorseencienda,mantengapresionadalaperilla

decontroldurante30segundosmás.Elrostizadordebe

permanecer encendido.

Instrucciones de apagado

1. Gire las perillas de control en dirección de las

manecillas del reloj hacia la posición O de apagado.

2. Cierre la válvula del tanque completamente girándola

en la dirección de las manecillas del reloj.

3. Cierre la tapa.

Corte el suministro de gas PL en el cilindro cuando no

utilice el electrodoméstico.

Artículos de limpieza recomendados

alambre. NO use limpiadores que contengan ácido, aguarrás ni ninguna sustancia abrasiva.

Superciesexteriores

Se recomienda usar solo detergente para platos suave y agua caliente para limpiar la parrilla y sus

Bandejainferiorinteriordelcuerpodelaparrilla

Para evitar llamaradas, la bandeja inferior de la cámara de cocción se debe mantener limpia de

formaregular.Retirelosresiduosconuncepillo,raspadory/oalmohadilladelimpieza.Lavecon

detergente para platos suave y agua tibia. Enjuague con agua tibia. Evite salpicar agua en los tubos

Extracción del ensamble del quemador

1. Asegúrese de que la parrilla esté fría. Corte el gas en las perillas de control y en el tanque de

propano.

2. Desconecte el cilindro de gas PL de la manguera y el regulador.

3. Retire la rejilla para calentar, las rejillas de cocción y las cámaras de calor.

4. Retire el quemador sacando los pasadores de chaveta de la parte posterior de los quemadores

paraextraerlosdelaabrazadera.

5. Retire el cable de encendido del electrodo a mano solamente. NOusepinzasniningunaotra

herramienta ya que podría dañar el electrodo o el cable.

6. Levante el quemador lentamente.

7.Asegúresedequetodoslosoriciosdelquemadoresténlibresdeobstrucciones.Utilizarun

pasador o sujetapapeles funciona bien.

8. Asegúrese de que el quemador no tenga ningún daño. Si el quemador está dañado, reemplácelo

por uno nuevo.

9.Asegúresedequeelextremodelquemadorylapantallaparaaireprimariaesténlibresdenidos

de insectos, polvo o desechos.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

Reinstalación del ensamble del quemador

1.Asegúresedequelosoriciosesténenlaposición

correcta dentro de la entrada (venturi) del quemador.

2. Podría ser necesario el uso de una linterna para

asegurar que quede en la posición correcta.

3. Se recomienda ver la posición correcta a través de los

oriciosdeventilacióndelacámaradecombustión.

Otro tipo de cuidado y mantenimiento

•Serecomiendaqueuntécnicocalicadorealiceunainspecciónymantenimientoanualeneste

electrodoméstico.

•Serecomiendaqueveriqueregularmentequenohayamaterialescombustibles,gasolinaniotros

vaporesolíquidosinamablescercadelazonadondeestáelelectrodomésticoparacocciónagas

paraexteriores.

•Serecomiendaqueveriqueregularmentequeelujodeairedecombustiónyventilaciónnoesté

obstruido.

•Serecomiendaqueveriqueregularmentequenohayadesechosenlasaberturasdeventilación

del compartimiento del cilindro (gabinete).

•Serecomiendaqueveriqueylimpieregularmenteelquemadorylostubosventuriparavericar

que no haya insectos o nidos de insectos. Un tubo obstruido puede ocasionar un incendio debajo

de la parrilla.

El encendido electrónico requiere una batería alcalina “AA”, que viene incluida.

Si no siguen las instrucciones que aparecen anteriormente, podría producirse un incendio o una

explosión y causar lesiones graves o la muerte.
