The battery type used in the unit is one Lithium polymer

battery. The battery is incorporated and is not readily

accessible.

Earphones: Insert standard 3.5 mm earphones into the earphone jack.

EARPHONE VOLUME WARNING

Connect earphones with volume

set low and increase it if required.

Prolonged listening through some

earphones at high volume settings

can result in hearing damage.

Earphones or headphones must

comply with EN50332-1 /

EN50332-2 to ensure continued

protection from excessive sound

pressure.

At full power, prolonged listening to the player can damage

the ear of the user

To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high

volume levels for long periods.

WARNING: To protect your hearing, it is important that any

headphones or earphones used in conjunction with this

product are compliant with French Decree of 8 November

2005 implementing Article L.5232-1. This ensures that the

sound level does not exceed 100 dB SPL. The prolonged

listening at high volume for more than five hours a week

can damage your hearing.

A warning will be shown when you increase the

volume setting. You can cancel the warning by

pressing M to continue.

NOTE: A beep will be heard when you play a

movie and increase the volume setting. You can

press M and then increase the volume setting as

desired.

GETTING STARTED

Turning the player on and off

To turn on

Slide the ON/OFF switch to “ON”.

To turn off

Slide the ON/OFF switch to “OFF”.

Charging the battery

It is recommended to turn the player off before charging the battery.

When “Low power!” is shown on the screen, it indicates a low battery

power and you need to charge the battery.

Connect the player with a computer with the supplied USB cable.

Transferring files to the player

You can connect the player to a computer with a USB port to transfer

files to your player.

1. Connect the player to a computer (e.g. in Windows XP operating

system).

2. Double-click the “My Computer” icon on your desktop and then

double-click the player icon (Removable Disk).

3. Drag and drop files to the player.

• Supported formats:

Audio: MP3 Photo: JPG/BMP Video: AMV

To disconnect from a computer,

1. Double-click the green arrow in the taskbar

located on the lower-right side of the

computer screen.

2. Safely Remove Hardware: Select “USB Mass Storage Device” from

the list that appears and then click on “Stop”.

3. Stop a Hardware Device: Select “USB Mass Storage Device” from

the list that appears and then click on “OK”.

4. When the “Safely Remove Hardware” window appears, click the

Close button and disconnect the USB cable from the player and

your computer.

Using the home menu

The home menu will appear when you press and hold for

approximately 4 seconds.

From the home menu, you can select the desired item on the screen

by using / .

1. From the home screen, select the voice mode by

3. Use / to select the desired recording file and

• Delete: Delete the currently playing station.

• Delete all: Delete all saved stations.

DELETING FILES IN ALL MODES

Deleting a file

1. In pause state, press M to enter the mode menu.

2. Use / to select [Delete file] and press .

3. Select a file you intend to delete and press .

4. Select [Yes] and press to delete the file.

Deleting all files

1. In pause state, press M to enter the mode menu.

2. Use / to select [Delete all] press .

3. Use / to select [Yes] and press to delete all files.

1. From the home screen, select the setup mode by

When there is no operation for a while, the player will turn off the

screen. You can set the waiting time for turning off the screen.

1. Select the desired waiting time by using / .

• Not to turn off the screen: select 0 second

• Waiting time: select from 5 to 50 seconds by 5 second

increments

2. Press to confirm.

Language

You can select the display language by using / . Press to

confirm.

Power off

You can set the time to turn off the player.

1. Select the desired time to by using / .

• Not to turn off the player: select 0 minute

• Time to turn off the player: select from 10 to 120 minutes by

10 minute increments.

2. Press to confirm.

Memory info

The option displays the available free space size / total capacity of the

player.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have a problem with this player, please read the troubleshooting

guide below.

The player does not turn on.

 Ensure that the ON/OFF switch is in the “ON” position.

 Ensure that the battery retains sufficient power.

There is no sound during playback.

 Check the volume level.

 Ensure that the earphones are connected securely to the player.

 Ensure that the file is in a compatible format.

Files cannot be transferred to the player.

 Ensure that the supplied USB cable is securely connected to the

player and the computer.

 Ensure that the memory capacity of the player is not full.

Écouteurs : Branchez des écouteurs munis d'une fiche standard de

3,5 mm dans la prise écouteurs.

MISE EN GARDE CONCERNANT LE VOLUME DES ÉCOUTEURS

Réglez le volume au minimum

avant de brancher des écouteurs,

puis augmentez-le si nécessaire.

L’écoute prolongée avec des

écouteurs à un volume élevé peut

provoquer une perte d’acuité

auditive.

Les écouteurs/casques utilisés

doivent être conformes aux

normes EN50332-1/EN50332-2

afin d’assurer une protection

continue contre une pression

sonore excessive.

A pleine puissance, l’écoute prolongée du baladeur peut

endommager l’oreille de l’utilisateur.

Afin de réduire les risques de lésions auditives, n'écoutez pas de

la musique à un volume élevé pendant longtemps.

MISE EN GARDE : Pour protéger vos capacités auditives, il est

primordial que le casque ou les écouteurs utilisés avec ce produit

soient conformes à l’Arrêté du 8 novembre 2005 de la République

Française portant application de l'article L. 5232-1. Cela garantit que

l'intensité acoustique n'excède pas 100 dB SPL. L’écoute prolongée à

un volume élevé pendant plus de cinq heures par semaine peut léser

vos capacités auditives.

Une alerte s’affiche quand vous montez le

volume. Vous pouvez annuler cette alerte en

appuyant sur M pour continuer.

REMARQUE : Un bip retentit quand vous montez

le volume pendant la lecture d’un film. Appuyez

sur M, puis montez le volume au niveau désiré.

MISE EN SERVICE

Allumer et Éteindre le lecteur

Recharger la batterie

Il est recommandé d’éteindre le lecteur avant de recharger sa batterie.

Quand l’indication « Batterie faible ! » s’affiche à l’écran, cela indique

que la charge de la batterie est faible et que vous devez la recharger.

Connectez l'appareil à un ordinateur avec le câble USB fourni.

Transférer des fichiers dans le lecteur

Pour transférer des fichiers dans votre lecteur, branchez-le à un

ordinateur pourvu d’un port USB.

1. Branchez le lecteur à un ordinateur (fonctionnant par exemple avec

Windows XP).

2. Double-cliquez sur l’icône « Ordinateur » de votre bureau, puis

double-cliquez sur l’icône du lecteur (Disque amovible).

3. Glissez–déposez des fichiers dans le lecteur.

Déconnexion d’un ordinateur :

1. Double-cliquez sur la flèche verte de la zone

de notification de la barre des tâches dans

le coin inférieur droit de l’écran de

l’ordinateur.

2. Retirer le périphérique en toute sécurité : Sélectionnez

« Périphérique de stockage de masse USB » dans la liste qui

s'affiche, puis cliquez sur « Arrêter ».

3. Supprimer le périphérique en toute sécurité : Sélectionnez

« Périphérique de stockage de masse USB » dans la liste qui

s'affiche, puis cliquez sur « OK ».

4. Quand la fenêtre « Arrêt d’un périphérique matériel » s’affiche,

cliquez sur le bouton Fermer, puis débranchez le câble USB.

DÉPANNAGE

Si vous rencontrez un problème avec ce lecteur, lisez le guide de

dépannage ci-dessous.

Le lecteur ne s’allume pas.

 Vérifiez que le bouton marche/arrêt est sur la position « ON » (sous

tension).

 Vérifiez que la charge de la batterie est suffisante.

Il n'y a pas de son pendant la lecture.

 Vérifiez le réglage du volume.

 Vérifiez que les écouteurs sont entièrement branchés dans le

WAARSCHUWING OVER VOLUME VAN OORTELEFOON

Sluit de koptelefoon op een laag

ingesteld volume aan en verhoog

gebruik van een oortelefoon op

een hoog volume kan

gehoorschade veroorzaken.

De oor- of koptelefoon moet

conform EN50332-1 / EN50332-2

zijn om een continue bescherming

tegen een overdreven geluidsdruk

te waarborgen.

Langdurig naar de speler op maximaal volume luisteren kan

het gehoor van de gebruiker beschadigen.

Om gehoorbeschadiging te vermijden, luister niet gedurende

een lange periode aan een hoog volumeniveau.

WAARSCHUWING: Om uw gehoor te beschermen is het belangrijk om

samen met dit product een kop- of oortelefoon te

gebruiken die conform het Frans decreet van 8 November

2005, toegepast op Artikel L.5232-1, is. Dit waarborgt dat

het geluidsniveau van 100 dB SPL niet wordt overschreden.

Een langdurig luisteren aan een hoog volume gedurende

meer dan vijf uur per week kan uw gehoor beschadigen.

Er wordt een waarschuwing weergegeven

wanneer u het volume verhoogt. U kunt de

waarschuwing annuleren door op M te drukken.

OPMERKING: U hoort een beep wanneer u een

film afspeelt en het volume verhoogt. Druk op M

en stel het volume vervolgens op het gewenste

niveau in.

AAN DE SLAG

Het apparaat in-/uitschakelen

Inschakelen

Schuif de AAN/UIT-schakelaar naar ON (AAN).

Uitschakelen

Schuif de AAN/UIT-schakelaar naar OFF (UIT).

De batterij opladen

Het is aanbevolen om het apparaat uit te schakelen alvorens de

batterij op te laden.

Wanneer “Low power!” (Laag vermogen) op het scherm wordt

weergegeven, is het nodig om de batterij op te laden.

Sluit de speler op een computer aan met gebruik van de meegeleverde

USB-kabel.

Bestanden naar de speler overdragen

U kunt de speler op een computer met een USB-poort aansluiten om

bestanden naar uw speler over te dragen.

1. Sluit de speler op een computer aan (bijv. met het Windows XP

besturingssysteem).

2. Dubbelklik op het pictogram “Mijn computer” op uw bureaublad en

dubbelklik vervolgens op het pictogram van de speler

(Verwisselbare schijf).

3. Sleep de bestanden vervolgens naar de speler.

Het scherm van de speler wordt na een bepaalde periode van

inactiviteit automatisch uitgeschakeld. U kunt de wachttijd voor het

uitschakelen van het scherm instellen.

1. Selecteer de gewenste wachttijd met behulp van / .

• Om het scherm niet uit te schakelen: selecteer 0 seconden

• Wachttijd: selecteer tussen 5 en 50 seconden in stappen van 5

seconden

2. Druk op om te bevestigen.

Taal (Language)

U kunt de weergavetaal selecteren met behulp van / . Druk op

om te bevestigen.

Power off (Uitschakelen)

U kunt de tijd voor het uitschakelen van de speler instellen.

• Om de speler niet uit te schakelen: selecteer 0 minuten

• Om de speler uit te schakelen: selecteer tussen 10 en 120

Deze optie geeft de beschikbare geheugenruimte / totale

geheugenruimte van de speler weer.

PROBLEEMOPLOSSING

Lees onderstaande probleemoplossingsgids als u een probleem met dit

product ervaart.

De speler kan niet worden ingeschakeld.

 Zorg dat de “AAN/UIT" schakelaar op de “ON” (AAN) positie is ingesteld.

 Zorg dat de batterij nog voldoende vermogen heeft.

Er is geen geluid tijdens het afspelen.

 Controleer het volumeniveau.

 Zorg dat de oortelefoon juist op de speler is aangesloten.

 Zorg dat het bestand een compatibel formaat heeft.

Bestanden kunnen niet naar de speler worden overgedragen.

 Zorg dat de meegeleverde USB-kabel juist op de speler en de computer is

aangesloten.

 Zorg dat de geheugenruimte van de speler niet vol is.

Cuffie: collegare una cuffia da 3,5 mm standard nella presa apposita.

AVVERTENZA SUL VOLUME DEGLI AURICOLARI

Abbassare il volume prima di collegare gli auricolari e aumentarlo

successivamente in modo graduale. L'ascolto prolungato con gli

auricolari ad alto volume può causare danni all'udito.

Gli auricolari e le cuffie devono essere conformi alle norme EN50332-1

/ EN50332-2 per garantire la protezione continua dall'eccessiva

pressione sonora.

L'ascolto prolungato con il volume a piena potenza può

causare danni all'udito.

Per prevenire possibili danni all'udito, non ascoltare ad alto

volume per periodi prolungati.

AVVERTENZA: Per proteggere l'udito, le cuffie o gli auricolari utilizzati

con questo apparecchio devono essere conformi alla legge

francese dell'8 novembre 2005, articolo L.5232-1, che

stabilisce che il livello sonoro non superi mai 100 dB SPL.

L'ascolto ad alto volume per più di cinque ore a settimana

può causare danni all'udito.

Quando si aumenta il volume, viene visualizzato

un avviso. Per annullare l'avviso e continuare,

premere M.

NOTA: quando si riproduce un filmato e si

aumenta il volume, viene emesso un segnale

acustico. Per impostare il volume sul livello

desiderato, premere M.

Accensione e spegnimento del lettore

Per accendere

Spostare l'interruttore acceso/spento su ON.

Ricarica della batteria

Si consiglia di spegnere il lettore prima di ricaricare la batteria.

Quando sul display appare il messaggio "Low power!" (Batteria

scarica), significa che la batteria è quasi scarica e deve essere

ricaricata.

Collegare il lettore a un computer con il cavo USB fornito.

Trasferimento di file sul lettore

Per trasferire i file sul lettore, collegarlo a un computer (ad esempio

con sistema operativo Windows XP)

1. dotato di porta USB.

2. Fare doppio clic sull'icona "Risorse del computer".

3. Selezionare e trascinare i file sul lettore.

Per scollegare l'unità dal computer

archiviazione di massa USB" nell'elenco che appare, quindi fare clic

su "Arresta".

3. Arresto di un dispositivo hardware: selezionare "Dispositivo di

archiviazione di massa USB" nell'elenco che appare, quindi fare clic

su "OK".

4. Quando appare la finestra "Rimozione sicura dell'hardware", fare

clic sul pulsante Chiudi e scollegare il cavo USB dal lettore e dal

computer.

RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI

 Assicurarsi che l'interruttore acceso/spento sia in posizione "ON"

(acceso).

 Assicurarsi che la batteria sia carica.

Non c'è suono.

 Controllare il livello del volume.

 Assicurarsi che gli auricolari siano collegati correttamente al lettore.

 Assicurarsi che il file sia in un formato compatibile.

Impossibile trasferire file sul lettore.

 Assicurarsi che il cavo USB fornito sia collegato correttamente al

Auriculares: conecte unos auriculares estándar, con una clavija de 3,5

mm, a la toma de auriculares de la unidad.

ADVERTENCIA ACERCA DEL VOLUMEN DE LOS AURICULARES

Asegúrese de que el volumen esté ajustado al mínimo cuando conecte

los auriculares y auméntelo gradualmente según se requiera. La

escucha prolongada a volúmenes excesivos a través de los auriculares

podría dar lugar a una pérdida de capacidad auditiva.

Los auriculares o audífonos utilizados deberán cumplir los requisitos

estipulados en las normas EN50332-1/EN50332-2 para garantizar así

una protección constante contra una presión acústica excesiva.

La escucha del reproductor a plena potencia durante periodos

de tiempo prolongados podría dañar la capacidad auditiva del usuario.

Para prevenir posibles lesiones auditivas, no escuche a niveles

de volumen altos por periodos prolongados.

ADVERTENCIA: Para proteger sus oídos, es fundamental que cualquier

auricular o audífono utilizado con este producto cumpla

con el decreto francés del 8 de noviembre 2005, donde se

implementa el artículo L.5232-1. De este modo se garantiza

que el nivel de presión acústica (SPL) no exceda 100 dB. La

escucha prolongada a volúmenes altos más de cinco horas

a la semana puede ocasionarle daños auditivos.

En la pantalla se mostrará un mensaje de

advertencia cuando aumente el volumen. El

mensaje de advertencia podría ser cancelado

pulsando M para continuar.

NOTA: Cuando se está reproduciendo una

película y se aumenta el volumen, escuchará un

sonido de bip. Puede presionar M y a

continuación, aumentar el volumen al nivel

deseado.

Encendido y apagado del reproductor

Para encenderlo

Deslice el botón ON/OFF a la posición “ON”.

Para apagarlo

Deslice el botón ON/OFF a la posición “OFF”.

Carga de la batería

Se recomienda apagar el reproductor antes de cargar la batería.

Cuando aparezca en la pantalla el mensaje “¡Batería baja!” significará

que la batería está baja de energía y necesita ser recargada.

Conecte el reproductor al ordenador mediante el cable USB

suministrado.

Transferencia de los archivos al reproductor

Conecte el reproductor al ordenador a través del puerto USB para

transferir los archivos al reproductor.

1. Conecte el reproductor al ordenador (p.ej. en el sistema operativo

Windows XP).

2. Haga doble clic en el icono "Mi PC" de su escritorio y, a

continuación, haga doble clic en el icono del reproductor (disco

extraíble).

3. Arrastre y suelte los archivos al reproductor.

Para desconectar del ordenador:

1. Haga doble clic en la flecha verde de la barra de tareas situada en el

lado inferior derecho de la pantalla del ordenador.

2. Quitar el dispositivo con seguridad: Seleccione "Dispositivo de

almacenamiento de masivo USB" de entre la lista y haga clic en

"Detener".

4. Cuando aparezca la ventana "Quitar dispositivo con seguridad",

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

En caso de tener algún problema con el reproductor, léase la guía de

VAROVÁNÍ: Pro ochranu vašeho sluchu je důležité, aby sluchátka

používaná s tímto výrobkem splňovala ustanovení

francouzského nařízení ze dne 8. listopadu 2005, které

Nabíjení baterie

Doporučujeme vypnout přehrávač před nabíjením baterie.

Když se na displeji zobrazí „Low power!“ (Nízké napětí), znamená to, že

Připojte přehrávač k počítači pomocí dodaného USB kabelu.

Přenos souborů do přehrávače

Přehrávač můžete připojit k počítači přes port USB pro přenos souborů

do přehrávače.

1. Připojte přehrávač k počítači (např. v operačním systému Windows

XP).

2. Dvakrát klikněte na ikonu „My Computer“ (Tento počítač) na ploše a

poté poklepejte na ikonu přehrávače (vyměnitelný disk).

Chcete-li se odpojit od počítače,

1. Dvakrát klikněte na zelenou šipku na panelu

umístěném v pravé dolní části obrazovky

počítače.

2. Safely Remove Hardware (Bezpečně odebrat hardware): Vyberte

„USB Mass Storage Device“ (Velkokapacitní paměťové zařízení USB)

ze seznamu, který se zobrazí, a poté klikněte na „Stop“ (Ukončit).

3. Stop a Hardware Device (Ukončit činnost hardwarového zařízení):

Vyberte „USB Mass Storage Device“ (Velkokapacitní paměťové

zařízení USB) ze seznamu, který se zobrazí, a poté klikněte na „OK“.

4. Když se zobrazí okno „Safely Remove Hardware“ (Bezpečně odebrat

hardware), klepněte na tlačítko Close (Zavřít) a odpojte kabel USB

od přehrávače a počítače.

ŘEŠENÍ PROBLÉMŮ

Pokud máte problém s tímto přehrávačem, přečtěte si příručku pro

Přehrávač se nezapne.

 Ujistěte se, že vypínač ON/OFF je v poloze „ON“.

 Ujistěte se, že baterie je dostatečně nabitá.

Není slyšet žádný zvuk během přehrávání.

Dlhodobé počúvanie prístroja pri maximálnej hlasitosti môže

spôsobiť poškodenie sluchu používateľa.

Ak chcete zabrániť možnému poškodeniu sluchu, nepočúvajte

pri vysokej hlasitosti po dlhšiu dobu.

VAROVANIE: Pre ochranu vášho sluchu je dôležité, aby slúchadlá

používané s týmto výrobkom spĺňali ustanovenia

francúzskeho nariadenia zo dňa 8. novembra 2005, ktorým

sa vykonáva článok L.5232-1. Tak zaistíte, že hladina zvuku

nepresiahne 100 dB. Dlhodobé počúvanie pri vysokej

hlasitosti, presahujúce päť hodín týždenne, môže poškodiť

váš sluch.

Keď zvýšite hlasitosť, zobrazí sa varovanie.

Varovanie môžete zrušiť stlačením tlačidla M pre

pokračovanie.

POZNÁMKA: Ak pri prehrávaní filmu zvýšite

hlasitosť, začujete pípnutie. Môžete stlačiť

tlačidlo M a potom zvýšiť hlasitosť podľa potreby.

Posuňte vypínač ON/OFF do polohy „ON“ (ZAP).

Nabíjanie batérie

Pred nabíjaním batérie odporúčame vypnúť prehrávač.

Ak sa na obrazovke ukáže „Low power!“ (Nízke napätie!), znamená to,

že batéria je vybitá a je potrebné ju nabiť.

Pripojte prehrávač na počítač pomocou dodaného USB kábla.

Prenos súborov do prehrávača

Na prenos súborov do prehrávača môžete prehrávač pripojiť na počítač

cez USB port.

1. Pripojte prehrávač na počítač (napr. v operačnom systéme Windows

XP).

2. Dvakrát kliknite na ikonu „My Computer“ (Tento počítač) na ploche

a potom dvakrát kliknite na ikonu prehrávača (vymeniteľný disk).

3. Pretiahnite súbory do prehrávača.
