NOTE: This xture was designed to use up to a 150 watt bulb. For improved energy efciency,
use lower wattage PAR ood bulbs.
WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
• IMPORTANT: READ ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
• For outdoor use only.
• cULus LISTED for wet location use.
• Connect xture to a 120 volt, 60 Hz power source. Any other connection voids the warranty.
• Use with only three-wire extension cords that have three-prong grounding plugs and that
are suitable for outdoor use, such as cords marked SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A,
STOW, STOW-A, SJW, SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A, SJTW, SJTW-A, SJTOW, SJTOW-A and
grounding receptacles that accept a three-prong plug. When the xture is used in wet
locations, provide Ground Fault Circuit Interruption (GFCI) protection on the circuit(s) or
outlet(s) to be used.
• Risk of re/electric shock. Do not use with extension cord near water or where water may
accumulate. Keep lamp at least 16 feet from pools and spas. Keep plugs and receptacles
dry. For use only on GFCI protected circuits.
• Bulb gets HOT quickly!
• The bulb and xture get extremely hot during use. Disconnect power and allow xture to
cool before changing bulb, repositioning xture or handling xture.
• Always replace bulb with the same wattage or lower wattage than marked. Installing a bulb
of a higher wattage could create a re hazard. Use of a higher wattage bulb will void the
warranty. Only use a 120 volt bulb.
• Keep lamp away from materials that burn. Do not position xture within
two inches of any combustible materials.
• Do not use this apparatus near water.
• Clean only with a dry cloth.
• Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions.
• Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
• Disassembling your xture will void the warranty.
• Your xture is pre-wired and pre-assembled for easy installation.
• To avoid a hazard to children, account for all parts and destroy all packing materials.
• Note: Deviation from the assembly instructions may result in a risk of re or electric shock.

INSTALLING YOUR FIXTURE
NOTE: Be sure to aim the light in the desired directions left or right) before inserting the
spike (B) into the ground.

1. To position xture in the ground, hold the xture by the cone-shaped section of housing
located between the spike (B) and the xture head and push spike (B) straight down
into the ground.
2. Insert threaded end of bulb through gasket (C).
3. Screw PAR 38 ood bulb (sold separately) into xture.
NOTE: Bulb cannot exceed 150 watt maximum wattage. This xture was designed to use up
to 150 watt bulbs. For improved energy efciency, lower wattage PAR ood bulbs can be used.
4. Plug power cord into grounded three-prong receptacle or into three-prong grounded
extension cord (see the “Warnings and Cautions” section for approved types of
extension cords).
AIMING THE LIGHT
1. Loosen the knob on the side of the light housing. Tilt xture head up or down to desired
position; retighten knob.
NOTE: Do not aim the lamp head vertically.
2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Cooper Lighting, LLC (“Cooper Lighting”) warrants to customers that, for a period of two years
from the date of purchase, Cooper Lighting’s products will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship. The obligation of Cooper Lighting under this warranty is expressly limited
to the provision of replacement products. This warranty is extended only to the original
purchaser of the product. A purchaser’s receipt or other proof of date of original purchase
acceptable to Cooper Lighting. This is required before warranty performance shall
be rendered.
This warranty does not apply to Cooper Lighting products that have been altered or repaired or
that have been subjected to neglect, abuse, misuse or accident (including shipping damages).
This warranty does not apply to products not manufactured by Cooper Lighting which have
been supplied, installed, and/or used in conjunction with Cooper Lighting products. Damage to
the product caused by replacement bulbs or corrosion or discoloration of brass components
are not covered by this warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
IN NO EVENT SHALL COOPER LIGHTING BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL,
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN
CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR IN TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), NOR FOR LOST PROFITS;
NOR SHALL THE LIABILITY OF COOPER LIGHTING FOR ANY CLAIMS OR DAMAGE ARISING
OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THESE TERMS OR THE MANUFACTURE, SALE, DELIVERY, USE,
MAINTENANCE, REPAIR OR MODIFICATION OF COOPER LIGHTING PRODUCTS, OR SUPPLY OF
ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS THEREFORE, EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF COOPER LIGHTING
PRODUCTS GIVING RISE TO A CLAIM. NO LABOR CHARGES WILL BE ACCEPTED TO REMOVE
OR INSTALL FIXTURES.

All returned products must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization Number issued
by the Company and must be returned freight prepaid. Any product received without a Return
Goods Authorization Number from the Company will be refused.
Cooper Lighting, LLC is not responsible for merchandise damaged in transit. Repaired or
replaced products shall be subject to the terms of this warranty and are inspected when
packed. Evident or concealed damage that is made in transit should be reported at once to
the carrier making the delivery and a claim led with them.

ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES

• Se debe utilizar en exteriores solamente.
• Catalogado por cULus para uso en ubicaciones húmedas.
• El portalámparas debe estar conectado a una fuente de energía de 120 Voltios, 60 Hz.
Cualquier otro tipo de conexión anula la garantía.
• Utilícelo solamente con una extensión eléctrica de tres líneas que tenga clavijas de tres
puntas con conexión a tierra, y que sea apta para usarse en el exterior tal como las
extensiones etiquetadas SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A, STOW, STOW-A, SJW,
SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A, SJTW, SJTW-A, SJTOW, SJTOW-A y con contactos de tres entradas
conectados a tierra. Cuando el accesorio se utiliza en lugares húmedos, asegúrese que los

• Reemplace siempre la bombilla con una del mismo vatiaje o más bajo que el marcado. Si
instala lámparas de mayor potencia, puede crear riesgo de incendio. Si usa lámparas de
mayor potencia, se anula la garantía. Use solamente una bombilla de 120 voltios.
• Mantenga la lámpara alejada de materiales inamables. No coloque
el artefacto en posición dentro de dos pulgada (5 cm) de cualquier
material combustible.
• No use este aparato cerca de agua.
• Limpie únicamente con un trapo seco.
• No obstruya las aberturas de ventilación. Instale de conformidad con las instrucciones
del fabricante.
• Use únicamente acoplamientos/accesorios especicados por el fabricante.
• Si desarma el accesorio, se anulará la garantía.
• La lámpara es percableada y preensamblado para facilitar la instalación.

INSTALACIÓN DEL ACCESORIO
NOTA: Asegúrese de apuntar la luz en la dirección deseada (izquierda o derecha) antes de
insertar el pico (B) en el suelo.
1. Para colocar el dispositivo en la tierra, sosténgalo por la sección en forma de cono del
bastidor entre el pico (B) y la cabeza del dispositivo y empuje el pico (B) en línea recta
en la tierra.
2. Inserte en extremo roscado de la bombilla a través de la junta (C).
3. Atornille la bombilla del reector tipo PAR 38 (se compra por separado) en el accesorio.
NOTA: La bombilla no debe exceder el vataje máximo de 150 vatios. Este accesorio fue
diseñado para usar bombillas de 150 vatios máximo. Se pueden usar bombillas de menor
vataje PAR para mayor eciencia energética.
4. Conecte el cable eléctrico al tomacorriente con conexión a tierra y de tres espigas o a
la extensión eléctrica con conexión a tierra de tres espigas (vea los tipos aprobados de
extensiones eléctricas en la sección “Advertencias y Precauciones”).
ORIENTACIÓN DE LA LÁMPARA
1. Aoje la perilla en el lado del alojamiento de la lámpara. Incline la cabeza del aparato
hacia arriba o hacia abajo en la posición deseada, y luego apriete otra vez la perilla.
NOTA: No oriente la cabeza de la lámpara en dirección vertical.

Cooper Lighting, LLC (“Cooper Lighting”) garantiza a sus clientes que los productos de Cooper
Lighting no presentarán defectos en los materiales y en la fabricación durante un período de
dos años desde la fecha de compra. La obligación de Cooper Lighting según esta garantía se
limita expresamente al suministro de los productos de reemplazo. Esta garantía se extiende

RESPONSABLE DES O DAÑOS QUE SURJAN O ESTÉN CONECTADOS CON ESTOS TÉRMINOS
O CON LA FABRICACIÓN, VENTA , ENTREGA , USO, MANTENIMIENTOM, REPARACIÓN O
MODIFICACIÓN DE LOS PRODUCTOS DE COOPER LIGHTING O DEL SUMINISTRO DE
CUALQUIER PIEZA DE REPUESTO QUE EXCEDA EL PRECIO DE COMPRA DE LOS PRODUCTOS
DE COOPER LIGHTING ORIGINANDO UN RECLAMO. NO SE ACEPTARÁN CARGOS POR MANO
DE OBRA PARA QUITAR O INSTALAR LOS ACCESORIOS.
