Introducción
Familiarícese con el funcionamiento del
dispositivo antes de ponerlo en marcha
e infórmese sobre cómo trabajar adecua
damente con herramientas eléctricas. Para ello, lea
las siguientes instrucciones. Guarde estas instruccio-
nes en un lugar seguro. En caso de transferir el apa-
rato a terceros entrégueles toda la documentación.

Uso según las normas
El aparato con tope fijo está destinado a serrar,
cortar a medida y adaptar madera, plástico y ma-
teriales de construcción. La sierra de calar es ade-
cuada para trabajos gruesos de serrado, cortes
rectos y curvos y separa superficies a ras. Tenga en
cuenta la información respecto de hojas de sierra e
indicaciones de trabajo para el serrado. El aparato
no ha sido diseñado para uso industrial. Cualquier
otro uso o modificación de la máquina se considera
como no adecuado y conlleva considerables peli-
gros de accidente. El fabricante no asume ningún
tipo de responsabilidad por los daños ocasionados
derivados de un uso distinto al indicado.

El nivel de vibraciones variará dependiendo del uso
de la herramienta eléctrica y puede en muchos casos
superar el valor indicado en estas instrucciones. Podría
subestimarse la carga de vibraciones si se usa con
regularidad la herramienta eléctrica de este modo.
Advertencia: Para un cálculo exacto de la carga de
oscilación durante un determinado intervalo de trabajo
se deben tener en cuenta los tiempos en los que la má-

1. Lugar de trabajo
a) Mantenga el lugar de trabajo limpio y
ordenado. El desorden y los lugares de traba-
jo mal iluminados pueden provocar accidentes.
b)
No utilice el aparato en áreas
potencialmente explosivas en
las que haya líquidos, gases
o polvos inflamables. Las herramientas
eléctricas producen chispas que podrían en-
cender el polvo o los vapores.

Mantenga a los niños y a

2. Seguridad eléctrica
a) El enchufe debe ser el adecuado
para la toma de corriente. No se
debe modificar de ningún modo el
enchufe del aparato. No utilice nun-

ca adaptadores con los aparatos que
están provistos de derivación a tierra.
Los conectores sin modificar y las tomas ade-
cuadas reducen el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
b) Evite el contacto físico con superficies
conectadas a tierra, como tubos me-
tálicos, radiadores, cocinas o frigorí-
ficos. Existe un riesgo muy elevado de des-
carga eléctrica si su cuerpo deriva a tierra.
c)
Mantenga el aparato protegido
de la lluvia y la humedad. Si
penetra agua en un aparato eléctrico
aumenta el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
d)
No utilice el cable para otros
fines, como para transpor-
tar o colgar el aparato o
para tirar de la clavija de red al des-
enchufarlo. Mantenga el cable al res-
guardo del calor, del aceite, de los
bordes afilados o de las piezas móvi-
les del aparato. Los cables dañados o retor-
cidos aumentan el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
e) Al trabajar con herramientas eléctricas
al aire libre, utilice sólo cables de ex-
tensión que también estén autorizados
para su uso en exteriores. El uso de una
extensión adecuada para su empleo en exterio-
res disminuye el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
3. Seguridad de las personas
a) Sea cuidadoso en todo momento, pres-
te atención a lo que hace y proceda con
prudencia al trabajar con una herra-
mienta eléctrica. No utilice el aparato si
está cansado o si se encuentra bajo el
efecto de drogas, alcohol o medicamen-
tos. Un simple momento de descuido durante el
uso del aparato podría causar lesiones graves.
b)
Lleve equipo de protección
individual y siempre unas
gafas de protección. Si lleva
equipo de protección personal, como mascari-
lla antipolvo, zapatos de seguridad antidesli-
zantes, casco de seguridad o protección auditiva,
en función del tipo y la utilización de la herramien-
ta eléctrica, reducirá el riesgo de daños.
c) Evite que el aparato se ponga en
marcha accidentalmente. Asegúrese
de que el interruptor está en la posi-
ción «DESCONECTADO» antes de in-
troducir el enchufe en la toma de co-
rriente. Si al mover el aparato ha puesto el
dedo sobre el interruptor o si conecta el apa-
rato al suministro eléctrico ya encendido, po-
drían producirse accidentes.
d) Extraiga las herramientas de ajuste
o llaves antes de encender el apara-
to. Cualquier herramienta o llave que se en-
cuentre en una pieza giratoria del aparato
puede provocar lesiones.
e) No confíe excesivamente en sus capaci-
dades. Procure estar en una posición se-
gura y mantenga en todo momento el
equilibrio. De este modo podrá controlar mejor
el aparato en situaciones inesperadas.
f) Utilice ropa adecuada. No use joyas
ni ropas flojas. Mantenga su cabello,
ropa y guantes alejados de las partes
móviles. La ropa floja, las joyas o el pelo lar-
go pueden engancharse en las piezas móviles.
g)
Si los dispositivos de aspiración y recolec-
ción de polvo están montados, asegúrese
de que estén conectados y sean correcta-
mente utilizados. El uso de estos dispositivos
disminuye los peligros causados por el polvo.
4. Manejo y uso cuidadoso de las
herramientas eléctricas
a) No sobrecargue el aparato. Emplee
en su trabajo la herramienta eléctri-
ca adecuada para el mismo. Si usa la
herramienta adecuada dentro de la potencia in-
dicada trabajará mejor y de forma más segura.
b) No utilice una herramienta eléctrica
cuyo interruptor tenga algún defecto.
Una herramienta eléctrica que no se puede en-
cender o apagar es un peligro y debe repararse.
c) Retire la clavija del enchufe antes de
realizar ajustes en el aparato, cambiar
accesorios o depositar el aparato sobre

una superficie. Esta medida de precaución evita
que se ponga en marcha el aparato por accidente.
d) Conserve las herramientas eléctricas
que no use fuera del alcance de los
niños. No permita utilizar el aparato
a personas que no estén familiariza-
das con él o que no hayan leído estas
indicaciones. Las herramientas eléctricas son
peligrosas si las usan personas sin experiencia.
e) Cuide el aparato. Compruebe que las
piezas móviles funcionen correctamente
y no se atasquen, y que no haya piezas
rotas o tan dañadas que perjudiquen al
funcionamiento del aparato. Haga re-
parar las piezas dañadas antes de usar
el equipo. La causa de muchos accidentes es el
uso de herramientas eléctricas que no han recibi-
do el mantenimiento adecuado.
f) Mantenga las herramientas de corte afi-
ladas y limpias. Las herramientas de corte con
filos cortantes conservadas cuidadosamente se
enganchan menos y son más fáciles de manejar.
g) Utilice la herramienta eléctrica, los acce-
sorios, las herramientas adicionales,
etc. de acuerdo con estas indicaciones y
del modo que se describe para este tipo
de aparato en concreto. Tenga en cuen-
ta las condiciones de trabajo y la activi-
dad que se va a realizar. El uso de herra-
mientas eléctricas para fines diferentes de los
previstos puede provocar situaciones peligrosas.
Indicaciones de seguridad
específicas para el aparato
Para evitar peligros de lesiones e incendios
y riesgos para la salud:
J En caso de utilizar el aparato en el exterior, co-
néctelo a un interruptor de corriente de fuga con
una corriente de desconexión máxima de 30 mA.
J Sujete la pieza de trabajo. Utilice dispositivos
de sujeción / tornillo de banco para sujetar la
pieza de trabajo. Así se mantiene más seguro
que con las manos.
J Proteja siempre sus manos del área lateral y fron-
tal del dispositivo y de las superficies que se van a
trabajar, ya que si resbala podría sufrir lesiones.
J En caso de peligro, extraiga inmediatamente
el enchufe de la toma de corriente.
J Mantenga apartado el cable de red siempre
por detrás del aparato.
J ¡PELIGRO DE INCENDIO POR CHISPAS!
Al serrar metales se producen chispas.
J Por lo tanto, es imprescindible que procure no
poner a nadie en peligro y que no haya mate-
riales inflamables en las proximidades del área
de trabajo.
¡ADVERTENCIA!
¡VAPORES TÓXICOS!
Trabajar con polvo nocivo / tóxico supone un
riesgo para la salud de quien maneja el apara-
to o de las personas que estén cerca.
¡Lleve gafas de protección y máscara
antipolvo!
J No trabaje con material que contenga amianto.
El amianto puede provocar cáncer.
J Al serrar materiales de construcción tenga en
cuenta las disposiciones legales y las recomen-
daciones del fabricante.
J No trabaje materiales humedecidos ni superficies
húmedas.
J Acerque el aparato al material a trabajar sólo
si está conectado.
m ¡ATENCIÓN! Evite el contacto con objetos du-
ros cuando el aparato está en funcionamiento:
¡peligro de rebote!
J Cuando el aparato está en funcionamiento la
base

siempre debe quedar contra la pieza.
J Siempre desconectar y dejar que el aparato se
detenga antes de depositarlo en cualquier sitio.
J Utilice sólo hojas de sierra filosas y en perfecto
estado. Cambie inmediatamente las hojas de
sierra agrietadas, deformadas o desafiladas.
J El aparato debe mantenerse siempre limpio,
seco y libre de aceite o grasas lubricantes.

Accesorios originales
J Emplee únicamente accesorios que se indiquen
en las instrucciones de uso. El uso de herramientas
adicionales o accesorios diferentes a aquellos
recomendados en el manual de instrucciones
puede suponer un riesgo de lesiones para usted.

hojas de la sierra
Puede utilizar cualquier hoja de sierra, siempre que
esté equipada con el alojamiento ½” vástago uni-
versal adecuado. Hay disponibles en el comercio
distintos largos de hojas de sierra optimizadas para
cada uso de la sierra de calar.
Nota: TPI = teeth per inch = cantidad de dientes
cada 2,54cm

Medidas: 150 x 1,25 mm, 6 TPI
Mejor adecuación: para serrar madera de cons-
trucción, madera de viruta, madera de placas y
madera contrachapeada, también para cortes de
inmersión.

j Durante el montaje y la comproba-
ción final de la hoja de sierra lleve
guantes de protección.
j Antes de cambiar la hoja de sierra asegúrese de
que el alojamiento de la hoja de sierra no tenga
restos de material (por ej. virutas de madera).
j
Eventualmente, limpie el aloja-
miento de la hoja de sierra
con un pincel o soplándolo con aire comprimido.

pueden obtener bordes de corte limpios.
Nivel I:
Adecuado para materiales con una dureza media,
por ej. madera dura, plástico.
Nivel II:
Utilice este nivel si trabaja materiales blandos, como
por ej. materiales ligeros para la construcción o
material aislante.
Nivel III:
Coloque el conmutador giratorio en esta posición
si trabaja madera blanda / árboles formados o
materiales blandos.

funcionamiento momentáneo o continuo.

Para la adecuación a la pieza y para un apoyo se-
guro la base

Indicaciones de trabajo
para el serrado
J Compruebe si el material a trabajar tiene ele-
mentos extraños como clavos, tornillos, etc. y
retírelos.
J Asegúrese de no tapar las ranuras de ventilación.
J Conecte el aparato y recién después acérquelo
al material a trabajar.
J Desconecte el aparato inmediatamente si la
hoja de sierra se atasca.
Expanda la ranura ya serrada con una herra-
mienta adecuada y extraiga la hoja de sierra.
j Adecue la hoja de sierra, el número de carreras
y el penduleo al material a trabajar.
j Hay disponibles en el comercio distintos largos
de hojas de sierra optimizadas para cada uso
de la sierra de calar.
j Aserre el material con un avance uniforme.
Serrar al ras:
Con hojas de sierra flexibles, siempre que el largo
sea el correspondiente, puede cortar piezas salien-
tes, como por ej. tubos, directamente en la pared
(ver también fig. D).
Proceda de la siguiente forma:
1. Apoye la hoja de sierra directamente sobre la
pared.
2. Dóblela, haciendo presión lateral sobre la sie-
rra de calar, de manera que la base

apoye en la pared.
3. Conecte el aparato de la manera antes expli-
cada y corte la pieza con una presión constante.
Cortar por inmersión:
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡PELIGRO DE REBOTE!
Los cortes de inmersión sólo se pueden realizar en
materiales blandos (madera o similar).
Proceda de la siguiente forma:
1. Coloque la sierra de calar con el borde infe-
rior de la base

sobre la pieza.
Conecte el aparato.
2. Incline la sierra de calar hacia adelante e
introduzca la hoja de sierra en la pieza.
3. Ponga la sierra de calar en posición vertical y
serre a lo largo de la línea de corte.
Nota: ¡La hoja de sierra a utilizar no debería so-
brepasar un largo máx. de 150 mm!

Mantenimiento y limpieza
Antes de proceder a la limpieza del aparato extraiga
siempre el enchufe.

Cambie la hoja de sierra cuando los dientes
dejen de estar afilados y ya no sea posible
realizar trabajos de serrado correctamente.

Mantenga siempre limpio el aparato y las ra-
nuras de ventilación.
J
Limpie el aparato después de finalizar el trabajo.
j
No deben entrar líquidos al interior del dispo-
sitivo. Utilice un paño para limpiar la carcasa
del aparato. Nunca utilice gasolina, productos
de limpieza o detergentes que agresivos para
el plástico.
j
Eventualmente, limpie el aloja-
miento de la hoja de sierra
con un pincel o soplándolo con aire comprimido.

Eliminación
El embalaje se compone de materiales
reciclables que puede desechar en los
puntos locales de recogida selectiva.
¡No tire los aparatos eléctricos
en la basura doméstica!
Según la Directiva europea 2002 / 96 / CE sobre
residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos y en
cumplimiento con el derecho nacional, las herra-
mientas eléctricas usadas se tienen que separar
y reciclar sin dañar el medioambiente. Para ello
devuelva el aparato en los puntos de recogida
indicados.
Para deshacerse de un aparato una vez que ya no
sirva pregunte a las autoridades locales o municipales.

Introduzione
Prima della prima messa in funzione do-
vete studiare bene le funzioni dell’apparec-
chio e vi dovete informare sull‘uso corretto
delle attrezzature elettriche. Leggete bene il seguente
manuale d’uso. Conservare queste istruzioni d’uso. In
caso di trasferimento dell’apparecchio a terzi, conse-
gnare anche tutta la documentazione ad esso relativa.

Utilizzo secondo la
destinazione d‘uso
L’apparecchio è fornito di testa fissa ed è destinato alla
taglio alla sega, al taglio a misura e all’adeguamento
di legno, plastica e materiali da costruzione. La sega
frontale è adatta a lavori grezzi di taglio alla sega,tagli
diritti e curvi e può dividere superfici a raso. Osservare
le informazioni relative a lame e quelle al taglio alla
sega. L’apparecchio non è previsto per un utilizzo in
ambito commerciale. Ogni altro uso, oppure la modifi-
ca dell’apparecchio, si considerano come non confor
mi alla destinazione d’uso e possono causare seri peri-
coli d’incidenti. Il produttore non risponde per eventuali
danni causati dall‘uso improprio dell’apparecchio.

stato misurato in conformità alla procedura di misu-
razione esplicata nella norma EN 60745 e può
essere utilizzato per il confronto tra apparecchi.
Il livello di vibrazioni si modifica a seconda del tipo
di utilizzo dell’apparecchio elettrico, ed in alcuni
casi può essere superiore al valore indicato nelle
presenti istruzioni d’uso. Il carico di vibrazione
potrebbe essere sottostimato qualora l’apparecchio
elettrico fosse regolarmente utilizzato in tale modo.
Nota: per una corretta valutazione dell’affaticamento

Eventuali errori nell’osservanza delle istruzioni

CONSERVARE BENE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI.
1. Area di lavoro
a) Mantenere l’area di lavoro pulita ed
ordinata. Il disordine ed aree di lavoro
poco illuminate possono determinare incidenti.
b)
Non lavorare con l’apparecchio
in un’atmosfera dove si trovino
liquidi infiammabili, esplosiva,
gas e polveri. Gli utensili elettrici generano scin-
tille che possono infiammare la polvere o i gas.
c)
Durante l’utilizzo del dispositivo
elettrico tenere lontani bambini
e persone estranee. In caso di
distrazione potreste perdere il controllo dell’ap-
parecchio.
2. Sicurezza elettrica
a)
La spina di connessione dell’apparecchio
deve essere adatta alla presa elettrica
nella quale essa viene inserita. In nessun
caso l’adattatore deve essere modifica-

to. Non utilizzare spine con apparecchi
messi a terra. Spine non modificate e prese
adatte riducono il rischio di una scossa elettrica.
b)
Evitare il contatto del corpo con superfici
messe a terra, quali ad esempio quelle
di tubi, caloriferi, cucine economiche e
frigoriferi. Sussiste un elevato rischio di scossa
elettrica, qualora il Vostro corpo fosse messo a terra.
c) Mantenere l’apparecchio
lontano da pioggia o umidità.
La penetrazione di acqua in un
apparecchio elettrico accresce il rischio di
scossa elettrica.
d)
Non utilizzare il cavo in modo
non conforme, cioè per tirare
l’apparecchio, per appenderlo
o per estrarre la spina dalla presa elet-
trica. Tenere il cavo lontano da calore,
olio, spigoli acuti o di parti in movimen-
to dell’apparecchio. Cavi danneggiati o at-
torcigliati accrescono il rischio di scossa elettrica.
e) In caso di lavori all’aperto utilizzare so-
lamente prolunghe ammesse anche per
un loro utilizzo all‘aperto. L’utilizzo di una
tale prolunga riduce il rischio di scossa elettrica.
3. Sicurezza delle persone
a)
Fare sempre estrema attenzione a ciò che
si fa e accostarsi al lavoro con il dispositi-
vo elettrico sempre in modo cosciente.
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio quando si è
stanchi o sotto l’influsso di droghe, alcol o
medicinali. Un solo attimo di disattenzione nell’uti-
lizzo dell’apparecchio può provocare serie lesioni.
b) Indossare sempre l’equipag-
giamento di protezione per-
sonale e gli occhiali protettivi.
Indossando l’equipaggiamento di protezione
personale, quale una maschera antipolvere,
scarpe di sicurezza antisdrucciolevoli, un casco
di protezione o una protezione auricolare, a
seconda del tipo e dell’utilizzo dell’apparec-
chiatura elettrica, riduce il rischio di lesioni.
c)
Fare in modo che non vi sia un avvio invo-
lontario dell‘apparecchio. Assicurarsi che
l’interruttore si trovi in posizione “OFF”
prima di inserire la spina nella presa elet-
trica. L’avere in mano l’apparecchio con il dito po-
sto sull’interruttore ON / OFF o l’avere l’apparecchio
è già inserito quando si infila la spina nella presa di
alimentazione elettrica può provocare incidenti.
d) Prima di avviare l’apparecchio, ri-
muovere il dispositivo di regolazione
o la chiave per dadi. Un utensile o una
chiave che si trovi in una parte di apparecchio
in rotazione può provocare lesioni.
e) Non sopravvalutarsi mai. Assicurarsi
di essere in una posizione eretta sicu-
ra e mantenere in ogni istante l’equi-
librio. In questo modo è possibile controllare
l’apparecchio in eventuali situazioni improvvise.
f)
Indossare un abbigliamento appropriato.
Non indossare un abbigliamento largo o
gioielli. Mantenere capelli, abbigliamento
e guanti lontano da parti in movimento.
Abbigliamento sciolto, gioielli o capelli lunghi posso-
no essere trascinati da parti in movimento.
g)
Quando vengono montati dispositivi di
aspirazione e di cattura della polvere, as-
sicurarsi che questi siano stati montati ed
utilizzati correttamente. L’utilizzo di questi di-
spositivi riduce i pericoli provocati dalla polvere.
4. Utilizzo attento di dispositivi
elettrici
a) Non sovraccaricare l’apparecchio.
Per un determinato lavoro utilizzare
sempre il dispositivo elettrico a ciò
appropriato. Con il dispositivo elettrico
appropriato si lavora meglio e con maggiore
sicurezza nello specifico ambito di utilizzo.
b) Non utilizzare dispositivi elettrici il cui
interruttore sia difettoso. Un dispositivo
elettrico che non si può più accendere e spegnere
rappresenta un pericolo, e deve essere riparato.
c)
Estrarre la spina dalla presa elettrica pri-
ma di eseguire regolazioni all‘apparec-
chio, di sostituire di accessori o di riporre
l’apparecchio. Queste misure di prudenza im-
pediscono l’avvio involontario dell’apparecchio.

d) Mantenere il dispositivo elettrico
non utilizzato fuori dalla portata di
bambini. Non fare utilizzare l’appa-
recchio da persone che non lo cono-
scano o del quale non abbiano letto
le istruzioni d’uso. I dispositivi elettrici
sono pericolosi se utilizzati da persone inesperte.
e)
Avere cura dell’apparecchio. Controllare
se parti mobili dell’apparecchio funzio-
nano perfettamente e non si bloccano,
se parti di esso sono rotte o danneggia-
te, che la funzionalità dell’apparecchio
non sia messa a rischio. Fare riparare le
parti danneggiate prima di utilizzare di
nuovo l’apparecchio. Molti incidenti sono pro-
vocati dal fatto che i dispositivi elettrici non vengo-
no sottoposti ad una corretta manutenzione.
f) Mantenere gli utensili di taglio affilati
e puliti. Utensili di taglio curati con attenzione
e forniti di bordi taglienti si incastrano meno
frequentemente e sono semplici da guidare
durante il lavoro.
g) Utilizzare dispositivi elettrici, accessori,
i dispositivi da inserire ecc, in confor-
mità alle presenti istruzioni e nel
modo descritto per questo particolare
tipologia di apparecchio. In questo
senso, tenere presente le condizioni
di lavoro e l’attività da eseguire.
L’utilizzo di dispositivi elettrici per scopi diversi
da quelli previsti può provocare situazioni di
pericolo.
Indicazioni di sicurezza
specifiche per questo
apparecchio
Per evitare rischi di lesione e di incendio
nonché situazioni pericolose per la salute,
osservare quanto segue:
J Se si lavora all’aperto, collegare l’apparecchio
attraverso un interruttore di protezione FI con cor-
rente d’innesto di max. 30 mA.
J Bloccare il pezzo da lavorare. A questo scopo
utilizzare dispositivi di bloccaggio / una morsa
a vite attorno al pezzo. Esso viene in questo
modo trattenuto in modo più sicuro che non
con la mano.
J In nessun caso appoggiarsi con la mani nei
pressi dell’apparecchio, oppure davanti ad
esso e alla superficie di lavorazione, dal mo-
mento che in caso di scivolamento sussiste il
pericolo di lesione.
J In caso di pericolo estrarre subito il cavo di ali-
mentazione dalla presa di rete.
J Portare il cavo sempre verso la parte posteriore
dell’apparecchio.
J PERICOLO DI INCENDIO A CAUSA DEL-
LE SCINTILLE GENERATE NEL CORSO
DELLA LAVORAZIONE! In caso di taglio
alla sega di metalli, vengono generate scintille.
Fare assolutamente attenzione a che nessuna
persona sia in pericolo e che non si trovino
materiali infiammabili nelle vicinanze dell’area
di lavoro.
ATTENZIONE!
GAS NOCIVI! La lavorazione
di polveri dannose o velenose rappresenta un pe-
ricolo per la salute degli operatori o delle persone
che si trovano nei pressi dell’area di lavoro.
Indossare occhiali di protezione e
mascherina antipolvere!
J E‘ vietato lavorare materiale contenente asbesto.
Si ritiene che l’asbesto sia una sostanza cance-
rogena.
J Segando materiali edilizi si osservino le dispo-
sizioni di legge e i suggerimenti del produttore.
J Non lavorare materiali inumiditi o superfici umide.
J Condurre l’apparecchio verso il materiale da
lavorare solo se esso è in funzione.
m ATTENZIONE! Evitare il contatto con oggetti
resistenti, se l’apparecchio è in funzione – vi è
pericolo di contraccolpi!
J La piastra di appoggio

deve essere sempre
fissata nell’apparecchio quando esso è in fun-
zione.
J Sempre spegnere e far terminare la corsa
dell’apparecchio prima di riporlo.
J Usare solamente lame perfette e non danneg-
giate. Lame piegate oppure non affilate possono
rompersi oppure causare contraccolpi.
J L’apparecchio deve essere sempre pulito,
asciutto e privo di tracce di olio o di grasso.

Adatto per materiali di media solidità, ad es. legno
duro e materie plastiche.
Livello II:
Scegliere questo livello qualora si dovessero tagliare
materiali quali materiali edili leggeri o materiale
isolante.

ed un supporto sicuro. Essa deve essere sempre
appoggiata al pezzo quando l’apparecchio è in
funzione.

Indicazioni di esecuzione del
taglio alla sega
J Verificare il materiale da lavorare per appurare
l’eventuale presenza di corpi estranei quali
chiodi, viti, ecc., ed allontanare tali corpi estranei.
J Fare attenzione a che le fessure di aerazione
non vengano coperte.
J Avviare l’apparecchio, e solo successivamente
avvicinarlo al materiale da lavorare.
J Spegnere immediatamente l’apparecchio
quando la lama si inceppa.
Allargare la fenditura già segata con un utensile
adatto ed estrarre la sega frontale.
j Adattare lama, numero di corse ed oscillazione
al tipo di materiale da lavorare.
j Per ogni ambito di utilizzo specifico della sega
frontale sono disponibili in commercio lame
ottimizzate in diverse lunghezze.
j Segare il materiale con spinta uniforme.
Segare a raso:
Con lame flessibili, aventi una lunghezza corrispon-
dente, è possibile segare pezzi sporgenti, quali ad
esempio tubi, direttamente alla parete (vedere a
questo proposito anche la fig. D).
Procedere nel modo seguente:
1. Porre la lama direttamente sulla parete.
2. Piegare la lama con pressione laterale sulla
sega frontale in modo tale che la piastra di
base

giaccia sulla parete.
3. Inserire l’apparecchio come precedentemente
descritto e segare il pezzo con pressione costante.
Taglio alla sega ad immersione:
ATTENZIONE!
PERICOLO DI CONTRACCOLPI!
I tagli ad immersione possono essere eseguito sola-
mente su materiali soffici (legno o di altra natura).
Procedere nel modo seguente:
1. Porre la sega frontale con lo spigolo inferiore
della piastra di base

sul pezzo.
Avviare l‘apparecchio.

2. Ribaltare la sega frontale in avanti ed immer-
gerla con la lama nel pezzo.
3. Porre la sega frontale in posizione verticale e
continuare a segare lungo la linea di taglio.
Nota: La lama da utilizzare non deve superare
una lunghezza massima di 150 mm!
Q
Manutenzione e pulizia
Prima di eseguire tutti i lavori di pulizia, estrarre la
spina dalla presa elettrica.
J Sostituire la lama non appena le sue dentature
non sono più affilate, ragione per la quale un
lavoro pulito non è più possibile.
J Mantenere l’apparecchio e le fessure di aera-
zione sempre puliti.
J Al termine del lavoro è necessario eseguire la
pulizia dell’apparecchio.
j Nessun liquido deve penetrare all’interno
dell’apparecchio. Per la pulizia dell’alloggia-
mento utilizzare un panno. Non utilizzare mai
benzina, diluenti o detergenti aggressivi nei
confronti della plastica.
j
Pulire il codolo della lama, se
necessario, con un pennello
oppure soffiando aria compressa.

Smaltimento
L’imballaggio è composto da materiali
ecologici, che possono essere smaltiti
presso i siti di riciclaggio locali.
Non gettate apparecchi elettrici
nella spazzatura della casa!
In base ala Direttiva Europea 2002 / 96 / EG rela-
tiva agli apparecchi elettrici ed elettronici usati e le
norme di armonizzazione di tale direttiva nel diritto
di ciascun Paese, i dispositivi elettrici usati debbono
essere smaltiti separatamente ed essere condotti
ad un loro riutilizzo non dannoso per l’ambiente.

usurato potete reperire presso il vostro comune.

correctly. Further details can be found in the operating
instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If
you pass the device on to anyone else, please ensure

Proper use
The device is intended for sawing, cutting to length or
trimming of securely supported objects made of wood,
plastic and building materials. The sabre saw is suita-
ble for rough sawing work, straight and curved cuts
and sawing flush. Please heed the information on saw
blades and the advice on working with your saw. The
device is not intended for commercial use. Any other
use or modification to the device shall be considered
as improper use and could give rise to considerable
dangers. The manufacturer will not accept liability for
loss or damage arising from improper use.

1. Your working area
a) Keep your working area clean and
clutter-free. Untidy or poorly lit working
areas can lead to accidents.
b)
Do not work with the device
in potentially explosive en-
vironments in which there
are inflammable liquids, gases or
dusts. Electrical power tools create sparks,
which can ignite dusts or fumes.
c)
Keep children and other people
away while you are operating
the electrical tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control of the device.
2. Electrical safety
a)
The mains plug on the device must match
the mains socket. The plug must not be
modified in any way. Do not use an
adapter plug with devices fitted with a
protective earth.
Unmodified plugs and
matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.

b)
Avoid touching earthed surfaces such as
pipes, radiators, ovens and refrigerators
with any part of your body. There is an in-
creased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed.
c) Keep the device away from
rain or moisture. Water entering
an electrical device increases the risk
of electric shock.
d)
Do not use the mains lead for
any purpose for which it was
not intended, e.g. to carry the
device, to hang up the device or to pull
the mains plug out of the mains socket.
Keep the mains lead away from heat,
oil, sharp edges or moving parts of the
device. Damaged or tangled mains leads in-
crease the risk of electric shock.
e) When working outdoors with an electri-
cal power tool always use extension ca-
bles that are also approved for use out-
doors. The use of an extension cable suitable for
outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
3. Personal safety
a)
Remain alert at all times, watch what you
are doing and always proceed with cau-
tion. Do not use the device if you are tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
One moment of carelessness
when using the device can lead to serious injury.
b)
Wear personal protective
equipment and always
wear safety glasses. The
wearing of personal protective equipment such
as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, safety
helmets or ear protectors, appropriate to the
type of electrical power tool used and work
undertaken, reduces the risk of injury.
c)
Avoid unintentional operation of the de-
vice. Make sure that the switch is in the
“OFF” position before you insert the
mains plug into the mains socket. Acci-
dents can happen if you carry the device with your
finger on the switch or you have already switched
the device on before you connect it to the mains.
d) Remove any setting tools or spanners
before you switch the device on. A
tool or spanner left attached to a rotating part
of a device can lead to injury.
e) Do not overestimate your own abili-
ties. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times. By doing this you will be in a
better position to control the device, especially
in unforeseen circumstances.
f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your
hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov-
ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long
hair can become trapped in moving parts.
g) If vacuum dust extraction and collec-
tion devices are fitted do not forget to
check that they are properly connect-
ed and correctly used. The use of these
devices reduces the hazard presented by dust.
4. Careful handling and use of
electrical power tools
a) Do not overload the device. Always use
an electrical power tool that is intended
for the task you are undertaking. By us-
ing the right electrical power tool for the job you
will work more safely and achieve a better result.
b) Do not use an electrical power tool if
its switch is defective. An electrical pow-
er tool that can no longer be switched on and
off is dangerous and must be repaired.
c)
Pull the mains plug from the socket be-
fore you make any adjustments to the de-
vice, change accessories or when the de-
vice is put away. This precaution is intended to
prevent you from unintentionally starting the device.
d) When not in use always ensure that
electrical power tools are kept out of
reach of children. Do not let anyone use
the device if he or she is not familiar
with it or has not read the instructions
and advice. Electrical power tools are danger-
ous when they are used by inexperienced people.
e)
Look after the device carefully. Check that
moving parts are working properly and

move freely. Check for any parts that are
broken or damaged enough to detrimen-
tally affect the functioning of the device.
Have damaged parts repaired before
you use the device. Many accidents have their
origins in poorly maintained electrical power tools.
f)
Keep cutting tools clean and sharp. Care-
fully maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edg-
es are less likely to jam and are easier to control.
g) Use the electrical power tool, accesso-
ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance
with these instructions and advice, and
the stipulations drawn up for this
particular type of device. In doing this,
take into account the working condi-
tions and the task in hand. The use of
electrical power tools for purposes other than
those intended can lead to dangerous situations.
Safety advice relating
specifically to this device
To avoid the danger of injury, fire and
damage to your health:
J If you use the device outdoors, always connect
it through a residual current device (RCD) with
a maximum trip current of 30 mA.
J Securely support the workpiece. Use clamps or
a vice to grip the workpiece firmly. This is much
safer than holding it in your hand.
J Never support yourself by placing your hands
near or in front of the device or the workpiece
surface. A slip can result in injury.
J If a dangerous situation arises, pull the mains
plug immediately out of the mains socket.
J Always work with the mains lead leading away
from the rear of the device.

Sawing metal creates flying sparks.
For this reason, always make sure that nobody
is placed in any danger and that there are no
inflammable materials near the working area.

NOXIOUS FUMES! Working
with harmful / noxious dusts represents a risk to
the health of the person operating the device
and to anyone near the work area.
Wear protective glasses and a dust
mask!
J Do not saw materials containing asbestos. As-
bestos is a known carcinogen.
J When sawing building materials, observe the
statutory requirements and the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
J Do not work on moist materials or damp surfaces.
J Switch the device on before you bring it into
contact with the workpiece.
m CAUTION! Do not allow the blade to come
into contact with a solid object or the floor
when the device is operating – danger of kick-
back!
J The shoe

J Do not put the device down before it has been
switched off and has reached a standstill.
J Use only sharp, defect-free blades. Replace
cracked, bent or blunt saw blades immediately.
J Always keep the device clean, dry and free of

You can use any saw blade as long as it has the

The desired blade oscillation speed can be prese-
lected by using the setting wheel

are using the device.

Pendulum-action settings
You can set the pendulum action using the pendulum-
action rotary switch

to adjust the effectiveness
of the sawing action of the blade to suit the material
to be cut.
Setting 0 (pendulum action is switched off):
This setting is suitable for sawing thin or hard mate-
rials. This setting can also be used to produce
clean-cut edges.
Setting I:
Suitable for materials of medium strength, e.g.
hardwood, plastic.
Setting II:
Use this setting when you are sawing soft materials
such as lightweight building or insulation materials.
Setting III:
Set the rotary switch in this position if you are cutting
softwood / pruning trees or soft materials.

The shoe

pivots to adjust to the workpiece and
provides safe support to the device. It must always
lie against the workpiece when the device is in use.

Advice about ways of
working when sawing
J Before sawing, check the workpiece for foreign
bodies such as nails, screws etc. and remove
them.
J Do not allow the ventilation slots to become
covered.
J Switch the device on first and only then bring it
into contact with the workpiece.
J If the saw blade jams, switch off the device im-
mediately.
Open the sawn gap in the workpiece slightly
using a suitable tool and extract the saw blade.
j Always make sure the saw blade type, blade
oscillation speed and pendulum-action settings
are suitable for the workpiece.
j There are different saw blades available in var-
ious lengths designed to ensure optimum perform-
ance of every sawing task with your sabre saw.
j Saw the material using a steady forward rate
of progress.
Flush sawing:
Using flexible saw blades of adequate length you
can trim off projecting workpieces, such as pipes,
directly at the face of a wall (see Fig. D).
Follow these steps:
1. Place the saw blade directly on the wall surface.
2. Bend the blade by applying sideways pressure
so that the shoe

comes up against the wall.
3. Switch on the device as described above and
trim the workpiece using constant pressure.
Plunge sawing:
CAUTION! DANGER OF KICKBACK!
Plunge sawing can be used only in soft materials
(such as wood etc.).
Follow these steps:
1. Place the sabre saw with the underside of the
shoe

against the workpiece.
Switch on the device.
2. Tilt the sabre saw forward and plunge the saw
blade into the workpiece.
3. Bring the sabre saw vertical and continue saw-
ing along the cutting line.
Note: The saw blade used for this should not be
longer than 150 mm!

Maintenance and cleaning
Pull the mains lead out of the mains socket before
you clean the device.
J Replace the saw blade as soon as its teeth be-
come blunt and it starts to produce defective
saw cuts.
J Always keep the device and the ventilation
slots clean.
J Clean the device after you have finished using it.
j Do not allow any liquids to enter the device.
Use a cloth to clean the housing. Never use
petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that might
attack plastic.
j
If necessary, clean out the
saw blade mounting recess
with a thin paintbrush or compressed air.

Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Das Gerät ist mit festem Anschlag zum Sägen,
Ablängen und Anpassen von Holz, Kunststoff und
Baustoffen bestimmt. Die Säbelsäge eignet sich für
grobe Sägearbeiten, gerade und kurvige Schnitte
und trennt Flächen bündig ab. Beachten Sie die In-
formationen zu Sägeblättern und Arbeitshinweise zum
Sägen. Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen
Einsatz bestimmt. Jede andere Verwendung oder
Veränderung der Maschine gilt als nicht bestim-
mungsgemäß und birgt erhebliche Unfallgefahren.

1. Arbeitsplatz
a) Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber
und aufgeräumt. Unordnung und unbeleuch-

d)
Zweckentfremden Sie das Kabel
nicht um das Gerät zu tragen,
aufzuhängen oder um den
Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.
Halten Sie das Kabel fern von Hitze, Öl,
scharfen Kanten oder sich bewegenden
Geräteteilen. Beschädigte oder verwickelte Ka-
bel erhöhen das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.
e)
Wenn Sie mit einem Elektrowerkzeug im
Freien arbeiten, verwenden Sie nur Ver-
längerungskabel, die auch für den Außen-
bereich zugelassen sind. Die Anwendung eines
für den Außenbereich geeigneten Verlängerungska-
bels verringert das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.
3. Sicherheit von Personen
a) Seien Sie stets aufmerksam, achten Sie
darauf, was Sie tun und gehen Sie mit
Vernunft an die Arbeit mit einem Elek-
trowerkzeug. Benutzen Sie das Gerät
nicht, wenn Sie müde sind oder unter
dem Einfluss von Drogen, Alkohol oder
Medikamenten stehen. Ein Moment der Un-
achtsamkeit beim Gebrauch des Gerätes kann zu
ernsthaften Verletzungen führen.
b)
Tragen Sie persönliche Schutz-
ausrüstung und immer eine
Schutzbrille. Das Tragen persönlicher
Schutzausrüstung wie Staubmaske, rutschfeste
Sicherheitsschuhe, Schutzhelm oder Gehör-
schutz, je nach Art und Einsatz des Elektrowerk-
zeuges, verringert das Risiko von Verletzungen.
c) Vermeiden Sie eine unbeabsichtigte
Inbetriebnahme. Vergewissern Sie sich,
dass der Schalter in der „AUS“-Position
ist, bevor Sie den Stecker in die Steckdo-
se stecken. Wenn Sie beim Tragen des Gerätes
den Finger am Schalter haben oder das Gerät
bereits eingeschaltet an die Stromversorgung
anschließen, kann dies zu Unfällen führen.
d) Entfernen Sie Einstellwerkzeuge oder
Schraubenschlüssel, bevor Sie das Ge-
rät einschalten. Ein Werkzeug oder Schlüs-
sel, der sich in einem drehenden Geräteteil
befindet, kann zu Verletzungen führen.
e) Überschätzen Sie sich nicht. Sorgen Sie
für einen sicheren Stand und halten Sie
jederzeit das Gleichgewicht. Dadurch kön-
nen Sie das Gerät in unerwarteten Situationen
besser kontrollieren.
f) Tragen Sie geeignete Kleidung. Tragen
Sie keine weite Kleidung oder Schmuck.
Halten Sie Haare, Kleidung und Hand-
schuhe fern von sich bewegenden Teilen.
Lockere Kleidung, Schmuck oder lange Haare kön-
nen von sich bewegenden Teilen erfasst werden.
4. Verwendung und Behandlung
des Elektrowerkzeugs
a) Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht. Ver-
wenden Sie für Ihre Arbeit das dafür
bestimmte Elektrowerkzeug. Mit dem
passenden Elektrowerkzeug arbeiten Sie besser
und sicherer im angegebenen Leistungsbereich.
b) Benutzen Sie kein Elektrowerkzeug,
dessen Schalter defekt ist. Ein Elektro-werk-
zeug, das sich nicht mehr ein- oder ausschalten
lässt, ist gefährlich und muss repariert werden.
c)
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdo-
se, bevor Sie Geräteeinstellungen vor-
nehmen, Zubehörteile wechseln oder das
Gerät weglegen. Diese Vorsichts-maßnahme
verhindert den unbeabsichtigten Start des Gerätes.
d)
Bewahren Sie unbenutzte Elektrowerk-
zeuge außerhalb der Reichweite von Kin-
dern auf. Lassen Sie Personen das Gerät
nicht benutzen, die mit diesem nicht ver-
traut sind oder diese Anweisungen nicht
gelesen haben. Elektrowerkzeuge sind gefährlich,

wenn sie von unerfahrenen Personen benutzt werden.
e)
Pflegen Sie das Gerät mit Sorgfalt. Kon-
trollieren Sie, ob bewegliche Geräteteile
einwandfrei funktionieren und nicht
klemmen, ob Teile gebrochen oder so
beschädigt sind, dass die Funktion des
Gerätes beeinträchtigt ist. Lassen Sie be-
schädigte Teile vor dem Einsatz des Ge-
rätes reparieren. Viele Unfälle haben ihre Ur-
sache in schlecht gewarteten Elektrowerkzeugen.
f) Halten Sie Schneidwerkzeuge scharf
und sauber. Sorgfältig gepflegte Schneid-
werkzeuge mit scharfen Schneidkanten ver-
klemmen sich weniger und sind leichter zu führen.
g)
Verwenden Sie Elektrowerkzeug, Zube-
hör, Einsatzwerkzeuge usw. entsprechend
diesen Anweisungen und so, wie es für
diesen speziellen Gerätetyp vorgeschrie-
ben ist. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die Ar-
beitsbedingungen und die auszuführende
Tätigkeit.
Der Gebrauch von Elektrowerkzeugen
für andere als die vorgesehenen Anwendungen
kann zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.
Gerätespezifische
Sicherheitshinweise
Um Verletzungs- und Brandgefahr sowie
Gesundheitsgefährdungen zu vermeiden:
J Schließen Sie, wenn Sie im Freien arbeiten,
das Gerät über einen Fehlerstrom (FI)-Schutz-
schalter mit maximal 30 mA Auslösestrom an.
JSichern Sie das Werkstück. Benutzen Sie
Spannvorrichtungen / Schraubstock um das
Werkstück festzuhalten. Es ist damit sicherer
gehalten, als mit Ihrer Hand.
JStützen Sie auf keinen Fall die Hände neben
oder vor dem Gerät und der zu bearbeitenden
Fläche ab, da bei einem Abrutschen Verlet-
zungsgefahr besteht.
JZiehen Sie bei Gefahr sofort den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose.
J Führen Sie das Netzkabel immer nach hinten
vom Gerät weg.
JBRANDGEFAHR DURCH FUNKENFLUG!
Wenn Sie Metalle sägen, entsteht Funkenflug.
Achten Sie deshalb unbedingt darauf, dass keine
Personen gefährdet werden und sich keine brenn-
baren Materialien in der Nähe des Arbeitsbe-
reiches befinden.

von schädlichen / giftigen Stäuben stellt
eine Gesundheitsgefährdung für die Bedienper-
son oder in der Nähe befindliche Personen dar.
Tragen Sie Schutzbrille und Staub-
schutzmaske!
J Asbesthaltiges Material darf nicht bearbeitet
werden. Asbest gilt als krebserregend.
JBeachten Sie beim Sägen von Baustoffen die
gesetzlichen Bestimmungen und Empfehlungen
der Hersteller.
JBearbeiten Sie keine angefeuchteten Materialien
oder feuchte Flächen.
JFühren Sie das Gerät nur eingeschaltet gegen
das zu bearbeitende Material.
m VORSICHT! Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit
festen Gegenständen, wenn das Gerät in Be-
trieb ist – Rückschlaggefahr!

Pendelung einstellen
Durch die Einstellung der Pendelung mit dem Dreh-
schalter Pendelung

können Sie den Eingriff des
Sägeblattes dem zu bearbeitenden Material
anpassen.
Stufe 0 (die Pendelung ist ausgeschaltet):
Diese Einstellung eignet sich zur Bearbeitung dün-
ner und harter Werkstoffe. In dieser Stufe können
auch saubere Schnittkanten erzielt werden.
Stufe I:
Geeignet für Werkstoffe mit mittlerer Festigkeit,
z.B. Hartholz, Kunststoff.
Stufe II:
Verwenden Sie diese Stufe, wenn Sie weiche Werk-
stoffe wie z.B. Leichtbaustoffe oder Isoliermaterial
bearbeiten.
Stufe III:
Stellen Sie den Drehschalter in diese Position, wenn
Sie Weichholz / Baumholz bzw. weiche Werkstoffe
bearbeiten.

Angaben auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes über-

Arbeitshinweise zum Sägen
J Prüfen Sie das zu bearbeitende Material auf
Fremdkörper wie Nägel, Schrauben etc. und
entfernen Sie diese.
J Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsschlitze
nicht verdeckt werden.
J Gerät einschalten und erst dann an das zu
bearbeitende Material heranführen.
J Schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus, wenn das
Sägeblatt verklemmt.
Spreizen Sie den bereits gesägten Spalt mit
einem geeigneten Werkzeug und ziehen Sie
die Säbelsäge heraus.
j Passen Sie Sägeblatt, Hubzahl und
Pendelung dem zu bearbeitenden Material an.
j Es sind für jeden Einsatzzweck Ihrer Säbelsäge
optimierte Sägeblätter in verschiedenen Längen
im Handel erhältlich.
j Sägen Sie das Material mit gleichmäßigem
Vorschub.
Bündig sägen:
Mit flexiblen Sägeblättern, entsprechende Länge vo-
rausgesetzt, können Sie hervorstehende Werkstücke
wie z.B. Rohre unmittelbar an der Wand absägen
(siehe auch Abb. D).
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Legen Sie das Sägeblatt direkt an der Wand
an.
2. Biegen Sie es durch seitlichen Druck auf die
Säbelsäge so, dass die Fußplatte

an der
Wand anliegt.
3. Schalten Sie das Gerät wie beschrieben ein
und sägen Sie das Werkstück mit konstantem
Druck ab.
Tauchsägen:
VORSICHT! RÜCKSCHLAGGEFAHR!
Tauchschnitte dürfen nur in weichen Werkstoffen
(Holz o.ä.) durchgeführt werden.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Setzen Sie die Säbelsäge mit der Unterkante
der Fußplatte

auf das Werkstück auf.
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
2. Kippen Sie die Säbelsäge nach vorn und tau-
chen mit dem Sägeblatt in das Werkstück ein.
3. Stellen Sie die Säbelsäge senkrecht und sägen
Sie weiter entlang der Schnittlinie.
Hinweis: Das zu verwendende Sägeblatt sollte
eine max. Länge von 150 mm nicht überschreiten!

Wartung und Reinigung
J Ziehen Sie vor allen Reinigungsarbeiten den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
J Wechseln Sie das Sägeblatt
aus, sobald dessen
Zahnung stumpf ist und damit keine einwandfreie
Sägearbeit mehr durchführbar ist.
J Halten Sie das Gerät und die Lüftungsschlitze
stets sauber. Bei verstopften Lüftungsschlitzen
droht eine Überhitzung und / oder eine Be-
schädigung des Gerätes.

j Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach Abschluss der Ar-
beit.
j Es dürfen keine Flüssigkeiten in das Innere des
Gerätes gelangen. Verwenden Sie zum Reini-
gen des Gehäuses ein Tuch. Verwenden Sie
niemals Benzin, Lösungsmittel oder Reiniger,
die Kunststoff angreifen.
j
Reinigen Sie die Sägeblattauf-
nahme ggf. mit einem Pinsel
oder durch Ausblasen mit Druckluft.
