Safety warnings
for batteries
When used correctly, cells and bat-
teries provide a safe and dependable
source of portable power. However,
if they are misused or abused, this

may result in leakage, burns, fire, or
explosion.
Store batteries in a dry place at room
temperature. Batteries are sensitive
to high and low temperatures. Such
thermal exposure may lead to leak-
age, fire, or explosion.
Keep cells and batteries out of reach
of children, especially small batteries.
Ingestion may lead to choking or
acute and serious personal injury.
Keep cells or batteries clean and
dry both during use and storage.
Wipe metal terminals with a soft,
dry cloth if they become dirty.
Immediately seek medical attention
if a cell or battery has been swal-
lowed. Also, contact your local
poison control center.
In the event that the electrolyte comes
into contact with the skin or eyes, im-
mediately flush with fresh water for
at least 15 minutes and seek medical
attention.

Store unused batteries in their origi-
nal packaging or in safe place and
away from metal objects that may
short-circuit them.
Exercise care in handling batteries
in order to prevent shorting with
conducting materials, such as rings,
coins, bracelets, and keys. The bat-
tery or the conductor can overheat
and cause burns, leakage, fire, or
explosion.
Clean the battery contacts and also
those of the product prior to battery
installation. Keep the contacts clean.
Remove batteries from the product
that will not be used for an extended
period of time (months or longer).
Remove discharged batteries from
product promptly to avoid possible
damage from leakage.
Choose the proper battery for the
intended application.
Always take care to correctly insert
batteries observing (+) and (-) polarity

marks on the battery and the product
for which it is intended. Proper polar-
ity must be observed to avoid dam-
age to either product or batteries.
Always replace the whole set of bat-
teries at one time, taking care not to
mix old and new ones, or batteries
of different types, capacities, or
manufacturers.
Never heat batteries in order to
revive them.
Never charge a battery unless the
battery label specifically states the
battery is rechargeable. Charging a
non-rechargeable battery, may result
in leakage, fire, or explosion.
Do not open or mutilate a battery or
cell. Electrolyte from the cell is corro-
sive and can cause damage to the
eyes or skin. The cell contents can
also be hazardous if ingested.
Do not drop or subject the cell or
battery to strong mechanical shock.

crushed, punctured, or otherwise
mutilated. Such abuses may result
in leakage, fire, or explosion.
Do not dispose of the battery in a fire.

This product contains lithium but-
ton / coin cell batteries. If a new
or used lithium button / coin cell
battery is swallowed or enters the
body, it can cause severe internal
burns and can lead to death in as
little as 2 hours. Always completely
secure the battery compartment. If
the battery compartment does not
close securely, stop using the prod-
uct, remove the batteries, and keep
it away from children. If you think
batteries might have been swal-
lowed or placed inside any part
of the body, seek immediate
medical attention.

Preparing for use
Inserting / replacing
the batteries
Insert the batteries to provide power
to the product before preparing it
for use.
Use the indicated battery types only.
Failure to observe this advice may
result in product damage.

Receiver:
Remove the battery compartment
cover 7 from the back of the
product.
Remove the used batteries, if present.
Insert 2 batteries (1.5 V (direct
current), type AA).

Note: Please note the polarity. This
is indicated in the battery compart-
ment 8.
Close the battery compartment 8.
Transmitter:
Remove the holder 13 from the back
of the transmitter.
Open the battery compartment 12
by turning the battery compartment
cover counter-clockwise.
Insert a battery (3 V (direct
current), type CR 2032). The side
marked “+” must face upward.
Place the battery compartment cover
on the battery compartment 12 and
tighten it by turning it clockwise.
Fasten the holder 13 of the transmitter
back on to the back of the transmitter.

Use
Synchronizing
transmitter / receiver
The product works on 434 MHz, which
is a quite common frequency.
To ensure that the function is not impacted
by doorbells in the neighborhood, the
transmitter and the receiver hence have
to be synchronized with respect to en-
cryption. Every transmitter functions with
a different signal encryption.
Synchronize the transmitter and
receiver as follows:
As soon as the batteries are installed,
the receiver enters synchronizing
mode for 2 minutes. During synchro-
nizing mode, the signal indicator 1
steadily lights up blue.
You can also manually enter synchro-
nizing mode by holding the synchro-
nizing button 3 for 3 seconds.

The signal indicator 1 on the receiver
will steadily light up for 1 minute, to
indicate that the receiver is in syn-
chronizing mode.
Press the chime button 11 of the
transmitter, while the receiver is in
synchronize mode. If the receiver
receives the signal, the steady blue
light of the signal indicator 1 flick-
ers 6 times to indicate that the syn-
chronization is successful.
Setting the signal type
The receiver can indicate the reception
of a door signal either both optically
and acoustically, acoustically or
optically.
Using the signal type selector button
4, select whether the signal is to be
indicated both optically and acousti-
cally, or acoustically or optically.
Press the signal type selector button
4 once. An acoustic signal will
sound and afterwards the signal

indicator 1 will flash up. The receiver
will now indicate the door signal
acoustically and optically. Press the
signal type selector button 4 again.

When the battery of receiver is
drained, the signal indicator will
flash. You can replace the used
battery with a new one of the same
type.
Setting the volume
Press the volume button 3 until the
desired volume is reached. There
are a total of 4 possible volume set-
tings: very loud, loud, medium, soft.

Selecting the chime
Note: The product has 17 different
chimes.
Press the melody selection button
2. The first audible signal sounds.
Press the melody selection button
2 again to move on to the next
audible signal.
Repeat this process until you have
selected your desired audible signal.
The last-selected audible signal is
automatically stored.
Troubleshooting
In case of extraordinary environmental
influences (e.g. a strong electromagnetic
field) the function of the product may be
affected. In this case, please remove the
batteries from the transmitter and the re-
ceiver for 2 minutes. Then proceed again
as described in the section “Synchronizing
the transmitter / receiver”.

Electrostatic discharges may lead to mal-
functions. If such malfunctions do occur,
remove the batteries for a short time and
then replace them again. Then proceed
again as described in the section “Syn-
chronizing the transmitter / receiver”.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Never use liquids or
detergents to prevent product damage.
Only clean the outside of the product
using a soft, dry cloth.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging through your
local recycling facilities and in compliance
with all federal, state and local regulations.

Three year limited
warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
· Damage, breakage or inoperability
due to defect.
· Damage not caused by normal wear
and tear or failure to follow the safety
and maintenance instructions provided
in the user manual.
What is not covered by the
warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage
caused by:

· Normal wear and tear of the product,
including fragile parts (such as switches,
glass, etc.);
· Improper use or transport;
· Disregarding safety and maintenance
instructions;
· Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. light-
ning, fire, water, etc.);
· Tampering with the product (such as re-
moving cover, unscrewing screws etc.).
Consequential and incidental damages
are also not covered under this warranty.
However, some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you.
What is the period of coverage
and warranty resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date
of purchase. At our discretion, product
will either be refunded or replaced.

En caso de que el electrolito entre
en contacto con la piel o los ojos,
enjuague inmediatamente con agua
fresca durante al menos 15 minutos
y solicite atención médica.
Almacene las baterías no usadas en
su empaque original o en un lugar
seguro y alejadas de objetos metáli-
cos que puedan provocarles corto-
circuito.
Tenga cuidado al manipular la bate-
rías para evitar que haya cortocircuito
con materiales conductores, como
anillos, moneras, pulseras y llaves. La
batería o el conductor se pueden so-
brecalentar y provocar quemaduras,
chorreaduras, incendio o explosión.
Limpie los contactos de la batería,
tanto en la batería como en el pro-
ducto antes de instalar la batería.
Mantenga los contactos limpios.
Retire la baterías del producto si no
se va a usar por un periodo prolon-
gado de tiempo (meses o más).

Retire la baterías agotadas del pro-
ducto tan pronto como sea posible
para evitar posibles daños por fugas.
Elija la batería adecuada para la

baterías correctamente, fijándose en
las marcas de polaridad (+) y (-) en
la batería y en el producto para el

No abra o mutile una batería o celda.
El electrolito de la celda es corrosivo y

ser peligroso si se ingiere.
No deje caer ni someta la celda o
la batería integrada a tensión mecá-
nica intensa.
No se deben desmontar, aplastar,
perforar o mutilar la baterías. Este

o exploten.
No elimine la batería en el fuego.
De lo contrario, se puede provocar
una explosión.

celda integrada de forma adecuada

Receptor:
Retire la cubierta del compartimiento
de las baterías 7 de la parte tra-
sera del producto.
Retire las baterías usadas, si las hay.
Inserte 2 baterías (1.5 V (corriente
directa), tipo AA).

Cierre el compartimiento de las
baterías 8.
Transmisor:
Retire el soporte 13 de la parte
trasera del transmisor.
Abra el compartimiento de la batería
12 girando la cubierta del compar-
timiento en sentido antihorario.
Inserte una batería (3 V (corriente
directa), tipo CR 2032). El lado
marcado con “+” debe quedar
para arriba.
Coloque la cubierta del comparti-
miento en el compartimiento de la
batería 12 y ajústela girándola en
sentido horario.
Fije el soporte 13 de la parte trasera
del transmisor en la parte trasera
del transmisor.

Operación
Sincronizar
transmisor/ receptor
El producto funciona en la frecuencia de
434 MHz que es muy común.
Para garantizar que la función no se vea
afectada por timbres cercanos, el trans-
misor y el receptor se deben sincronizar
mediante encriptación. Cada transmisor
funciona con una encriptación diferente
de la señal.
Sincronice el transmisor y el
receptor como se indica:
Tan pronto estén instaladas las baterías
,
el receptor entra en modo de sincro-
nización por 2 minutos. Durante el
modo de sincronización, el indicador
de señal 1 se enciende continua-
mente en color azul.
También puede iniciar el modo de
sincronización manualmente

apretando el botón de sincroniza-
ción 3 por 3 segundos.
El indicador de señal 1 en el re-
ceptor se iluminará continuamente
durante 1 minuto para indicar que
el receptor está en modo de sincro-
nización.
Presione el botón del timbre 11 del
transmisor, mientras el receptor está
en modo de sincronización. Si el re-
ceptor recibe la señal, la luz conti-
nua azul del indicador de señal 1
parpadeará 6 veces indicando que
la sincronización se efectuó con
éxito.
Ajustar el tipo de señal
El receptor puede indicar la recepción
de una señal en la puerta ya sea de
forma óptica y acústica, acústica u
óptica.
Usando el botón selector de tipo de
señal 4, seleccione si se debe

indicar la señal de forma óptica y
acústica, o solo acústica y óptica.
Presione el botón selector de tipo de
señal 4 una vez. Sonará una señal
acústica y luego parpadeará el indi-
cador de señal 1. El receptor ahora
indicará la señal de la puerta de
forma acústica y óptica. Presione
nuevamente el botón selector de
tipo de señal 4.
Sonará una señal acústica. El recep-
tor indicará de forma acústica la
señal de la puerta. Presione nueva-
mente el botón selector de tipo de
señal 4. El receptor indicará de
forma óptica la señal de la puerta.
Cuando se agote la batería del re-
ceptor, parpadeará el indicador de
señal. Puede reemplazar la batería
agotada con una nueva del mismo
tipo.

Ajustar el volumen
Presione el botón de volumen 3
hasta que se alcance el volumen
deseado. Hay un total de cuatro
ajustes posibles de 4 volumen: muy
fuerte, fuerte, medio y suave.
Seleccionar el timbre
Nota: El producto tiene 17 timbres
distintos.
Presione el botón de selección de
melodía 2. Sonará la primera
señal audible.
Presione nuevamente el botón de se-
lección de melodía 2 para pasar
a la siguiente señal audible.
Repita este proceso hasta que selec-
cione la señal audible que desee.
Se almacenará automáticamente la
última señal audible seleccionada.

Resolución de problemas
Después de la influencia de condiciones
ambientales extremas (p. ej. un campo
electromagnético intenso) se puede ver
afectado el funcionamiento del producto.
En este caso, retire las baterías del trans-
misor y el receptor durante aproximada-
mente 2 minutos. Luego proceda como
se describe en la sección “Sincronizar el
transmisor / receptor”.
Las descargas electrostáticas pueden
provocar mal funcionamiento. Si se pre-
senta este mal funcionamiento, retire las
baterías durante un breve momento y
vuelva a colocarlas. Luego proceda como
se describe en la sección “Sincronizar el
transmisor/receptor”.

mantenimiento
Por ningún motivo uti-
lice líquidos o detergentes, pues éstos
pueden dañar el producto.
El producto sólo debe ser limpiado
por fuera con un paño suave y seco.
Eliminación
Deshágase del empaque mediante sus
instalaciones de reciclaje locales y de
acuerdo con las regulaciones federales,
estatales y locales.

Garantía limitada
de 3 años
Lo que cubre la presente garantía
La garantía incluye:
· Daños, quebraduras o incapacidad para
funcionar debido a defectos.
· Daños que no hayan sido causados
por el desgaste propio del uso o por
no seguir las instrucciones de seguridad
y mantención incluidas en el manual
para el usuario.
Lo que no cubre esta garantía
La garantía no cubre daños causados por:

rruptores, piezas de vidrio, etc.).
· Uso o transporte no indicado del pro-
ducto.

(e.g. relámpagos, incendio, inundación,

· Manipulación mal intencionada del

La presente garantía tampoco cubre

La garantía es válida por 3 años a partir
