The instructions for use are a part of the product. They contain import-
ant information about the safety, use and disposal of the product. Be-
fore using the product, please learn about all the safety information
and usage instructions. Only use the product as described and for the

This product is intended for the wireless transmission of the doorbell

Safety warnings for
batteries
When used correctly, cells and batteries provide a safe and dep
end-
able source of portable power. However, if they are misused or
abused, this may result in leakage, burns, fire, or explosion.
Store batteries in a dry place at room temperature. Batteries are
sensitive to high and low temperatures. Such thermal exposure
may lead to leakage, fire, or explosion.
Keep cells and batteries out of reach of children, especially small
batteries. Ingestion may lead to choking or acute and serious per-
sonal injury.
Keep cells or batteries clean and dry both during use and storage.
Wipe metal terminals with a soft, dry cloth if they become dirty.
Immediately seek medical attention if a cell or battery has been
swallowed. Also, contact your local poison control center.
In the event that the electrolyte comes into contact with the skin or
eyes, immediately flush with fresh water for at least 15 minutes
and seek medical attention.
Store unused batteries in their original packaging or in safe place
and away from metal objects that may short-circuit them.

Exercise care in handling batteries in order to prevent shorting with
conducting materials, such as rings, coins, bracelets, and keys. The
battery or the conductor can overheat and cause burns, leakage,
fire, or explosion.
Clean the battery contacts and also those of the product prior to
battery installation. Keep the contacts clean.
Remove batteries from the product that will not be used for an
extended period of time (months or longer).
Remove discharged batteries from product promptly to avoid
possible damage from leakage.
Choose the proper battery for the intended application.
Always take care to correctly insert batteries observing (+) and (-)
polarity marks on the battery and the product for which it is int
ended.
Proper polarity must be observed to avoid damage to either product
or batteries.
Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care
not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types, capacities
,
or manufacturers.
Never heat batteries in order to revive them.
Never charge a battery unless the battery label specifically states
the battery is rechargeable. Charging a non-rechargeable battery,
may result in leakage, fire, or explosion.
Do not open or mutilate a battery or cell. Electrolyte from the cell
is corrosive and can cause damage to the eyes or skin. The cell
contents can also be hazardous if ingested.
Do not drop or subject the cell or battery to strong mechanical
shock.

Batteries should not be disassembled, crushed, punctured, or
otherwise mutilated. Such abuses may result in leakage, fire, or
explosion.
Do not dispose of the battery in a fire. Failure to observe this
precaution may result in an explosion.
Dispose of batteries properly and in accordance with government
regulations.

Keep batteries away from children.
This product contains lithium button / coin cell batteries.
If a new or used lithium button / coin cell battery is swallowed
or enters the body, it can cause severe internal burns and can
lead to death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely secure
the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not
close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries,
and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might
have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body,
seek immediate medical attention.
Dispose of button / coin cell batteries properly. Keep them
away from children. Even used cells may cause injury.

Assembly
Note: You will need a screwdriver and a drill to assemble the product.
Note: Only use the screws and dowels supplied for the assembly of
the product.
Mount the receiver (see Fig. D).
Mount the transmitter (see Fig. E).
Preparing for use
For first time use, please remove the protective film from the name
plate of the transmitter and insert your name plate into the recess
on the transmitter.
Replace the protective film on the transmitter.
Inserting / replacing the batteries
Insert the batteries to provide power to the product before preparing
it for use.
Use the indicated battery types only. Failure to observe this advice
may result in product damage.
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN
INCORRECT TYPE.

Receiver (see Fig. B):
Remove the battery compartment cover 6 from the back of the
receiver.
Remove the used battery, if present.
Insert 3 batteries (1.5 V (direct current), type AA).
Note: Ensure correct polarity. This is indicated in the battery
compartment 8.
Close the battery compartment cover 6.
Transmitter:
Remove the name plate from the holder 12 by pressing the lock
11 and remove the rubber cover 16 (see fig. C1).
Remove the used batteries, if present (see fig. C2).
Insert a battery (3 V (direct current), type CR 2032). The side
marked “+” must face up.
Re-install the rubber cover 16 , close the holder 12 of the transmitter
on to the back of the product.
Fasten the holder, and place screw 15 of the transmitter back on
to the back of the product & name plate.
The transmitter battery compartment with the holder must be in-
stalled using the screw 15 while in use. If the holder is damaged,
stop using the product.
Synchronizing transmitter / receiver
The product works on 434 MHz which is a quite common frequency.
To ensure that the function is not influenced by doorbells in the

neighborhood, the transmitter and the receiver have to be synchronized
via encryption. Every transmitter functions with a different signal en-
cryption.
Synchronize the transmitter and receiver as follows:
As soon as the batteries are installed, the receiver enters synchro-
nizing mode for 1 minute. During synchronizing mode, the signal
indicator 1 steadily lights up blue.
You can also manually enter synchronizing mode by holding the
synchronizing button 5 for 3 seconds.
The signal indicator 1 on the receiver will steadily light up for
1 minute, to indicate that the receiver is in synchronizing mode.
Press the chime button 9 of the transmitter, while the receiver is
in synchronize mode. If the receiver receives the signal, the steady
blue light of the signal indicator 1 flickers 6 times to indicate
that the synchronization is successful.
Setting the signal type
The receiver can indicate the reception of a door signal either both
optically and acoustically, or only acoustically, or only optically.
Using the signal type selector button 3, select whether the signal
is to be indicated both optically and acoustically or acoustically
or optically.
Press the signal type selector button 3 once. An acoustic signal
will sound and afterward the signal indicator 1 will flash. The re-
ceiver will now indicate the door signal acoustically and optically.

Press the signal type selector button 3 again. An acoustic signal
will sound. The receiver will now indicate the door signal acousti-
cally. Press the signal type selector button 3 again. The receiver
will now indicate the door signal optically.
When the receiver battery is drained, the signal indicator will flash.
You can replace the used battery with a new one of the same type.
Setting the volume
Press the volume button 5 until the desired volume is reached.
There are a total of 4 possible volume settings: very loud, loud,
medium, soft.
Selecting the chime
Note: The product has 16 different chimes.
Press the melody selection button 4. The first audible signal
sounds.
Press the melody selection button 4 again to move on to the
next audible signal.
Repeat this process until you have selected your desired audible
signal. The last-selected audible signal is automatically stored.

Connecting the transmitter to existing bell
systems or an existing doorbell button
Remove the holder 12 by pressing the lock 11 from the back of
the transmitter and remove the rubber cover 16 (see fig. C1).
Open the inner cover 14 using a Phillips screwdriver (see fig. F).
Remove the plastic clip of cable exit hole 19 with a flat head
screw driver (see fig. G).
Insert the cable through cable holder 20 and cable exit hole 19
(see fig. H).
Connect cable to terminals A and C (for connecting to existing
doorbell) or terminals B and C (for connecting to existing doorbell
button) using screw driver (see fig. H).
Connecting the transmitter to an existing
bell system (see Fig. I)
Extension of an existing doorbell system:
An already existing doorbell system can be extended with this product.
The operating voltage of the doorbell system must be between 4–12 V.
It makes no difference whether this comes from direct current or 50 -
60 Hz alternating current. In the event that you are dealing with an
existing doorbell system using direct current, you must connect the
positive terminal of the doorbell to contact C of the transmitter and
the negative terminal to contact A of the transmitter.

IMPORTANT! Never reverse polarity. Doing so may damage the
product.
The connection terminals A and C, found on the circuit board of the
transmitter as shown in fig. I must be connected directly to the electrical
connection terminals of the signal generators (e.g. bell). The button of
the transmitter may also be used for this type of operation.
Note: Contact a qualified electrician in case of problems during
installation.
Connecting an existing
doorbell button (see Fig. J)
The separate bell button must not be connected to the existing doorbell
system. The battery must remain in the transmitter. For this purpose,
terminals B and C are connected to the bell button with a two-core
cable. The bell push may only be connected to the transmitter.
Troubleshooting
In case of extraordinary environmental influences (e.g. a strong elec-
tromagnetic field) the function of the product may be affected. In this
case, please remove the batteries from the transmitter and the receiver
for approximately 2 minutes. Then proceed again as described in the
section “Synchronizing the transmitter / receiver”.

Electrostatic discharges may lead to malfunctions. If such malfunctions
do occur, remove the batteries for a short time and then replace them
again. Then proceed again as described in the section “Synchronizing
the transmitter / receiver”.
Cleaning and maintenance
Never use liquids or detergents to prevent product
damage.
Only clean the outside of the product using a soft, dry cloth.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging through your local recycling facilities and in
compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

Please note the package markings regarding waste sepa-
ration, indicated by abbreviations (a) and numbers (b),
meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and cardboard /
80–98: composite materials.
Contact your local waste management authority for addi-
tional information on how to dispose of the used product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly
when it has reached the end of its useful life, do not throw in the

garbage. Information on collection sites and their opening hours is
available from your local authority.
Improper disposal of batteries can damage the
environment!
Never throw batteries in the garbage. They may contain toxic heavy
metals and must be handled as special waste. The chemical symbols
of heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Used
batteries should therefore be disposed of through a local collection
point.
Three year limited warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
· Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
· Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow
the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
· Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such
as switches, glass, etc.);
· Improper use or transport;
· Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
· Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);

· Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing
screws etc.).
Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under
this warranty. However, some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you.
What is the period of coverage and warranty resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase. At our discretion,
product will either be refunded or replaced.
What will we not do?
We will not:
· Start a new warranty period upon product exchange;
· Repair product.

trapo suave y seco si se ensucian.
Busque ayuda médica inmediata si se ha tragado una celda o
batería. De igual forma, póngase en contacto con el centro local
para el control de intoxicaciones.
En caso de que el electrolito entre en contacto con la piel o los
ojos, enjuague inmediatamente con agua fresca durante al menos
15 minutos y solicite atención médica.
Almacene las baterías no usadas en su empaque original o en
un lugar seguro y alejadas de objetos metálicos que puedan pro-
vocarles cortocircuito.
Tenga cuidado al manipular la baterías para evitar que haya
cortocircuito con materiales conductores, como anillos, moneras,
pulseras y llaves. La batería o el conductor se pueden sobrecalen-
tar y provocar quemaduras, chorreaduras, incendio o explosión.
Limpie los contactos de la batería, tanto en la batería como en el
producto antes de instalar la batería. Mantenga los contactos
limpios.
Retire la baterías del producto si no se va a usar por un periodo
prolongado de tiempo (meses o más).
Retire la baterías agotadas del producto tan pronto como sea
posible para evitar posibles daños por fugas.
Elija la batería adecuada para la aplicación prevista.

Siempre tenga cuidad de insertar la baterías correctamente, fiján-
dose en las marcas de polaridad (+) y (-) en la batería y en el

indique específicamente que se trata de una batería recargable.
Cargar una batería no recargable puede hacer que las se chorreen,
se incendien o exploten.
No abra o mutile una batería o celda. El electrolito de la celda
es corrosivo y puede provocar lesiones en los ojos o la piel. El
contenido de la celda puede ser peligroso si se ingiere.
No deje caer ni someta la celda o la batería integrada a tensión
mecánica intensa.
No se deben desmontar, aplastar, perforar o mutilar la baterías.
Este tipo de acciones pueden hacer que la baterías se chorreen,
se incendien o exploten.
No elimine la batería en el fuego. De lo contrario, se puede pro-
vocar una explosión.
Elimine los productos con batería o celda integrada de forma
adecuada y de acuerdo a las disposiciones gubernamentales.

Este producto contiene una batería de botón / moneda con
litio. En caso de que una batería de botón / moneda nueva o
usada con litio sea tragada o entre al cuerpo, puede causar

menos de 2 horas. Siempre cierre de forma segura el com-
partimiento de las baterías. Si el compartimento para baterías
no cierra de forma segura, deje de utilizar el producto, remueva

Ensamblado
Nota: necesitará un atornillador adicional para ensamblar el producto.
Nota: use solo los tornillos y taquetes proporcionados para la insta-
lación del producto.
Instale el receptor (vea la fig. D).
Instale el transmisor (ver la fig. E).
Preparación para el uso
Antes de usarse por primera vez, retire el plástico protector de la
placa de nombre del transmisor e inserte su placa de nombre en
la muesca en el transmisor.
Vuelva a colocar el plástico protector en el transmisor.
Insertar / reemplazar las baterías
Inserte las baterías para alimentar el producto antes de prepararlo
para su uso.
Use los tipos indicados de batería únicamente. Si no sigue estas
indicaciones, se pueden provocar daños al producto.
RIESGO DE EXPLOSIÓN SI SE USA UN TIPO INCORRECTO
DE BATERÍA.

Receptor (ver la fig. B):
Retire la cubierta del compartimiento de las baterías 6 de la
parte trasera del receptor.
Retire la batería usada si hay una.
Inserte 3 baterías (1.5 V (corriente directa), tipo AA).
Nota: asegúrese que sea correcta la polaridad. Esta se indica
en el compartimiento de las baterías 8.
Cierre la cubierta del compartimento para baterías 6.
Transmisor:
Retire la placa de nombre del soporte 12 presionando el seguro
11 y retire la cubierta de goma 16 (ver la fig. C1).
Retire las baterías usadas, si las hay (ver la fig. C2).
Inserte una batería (3 V (corriente directa), tipo CR 2032). El
lado marcado con “+” debe quedar para arriba.
Instale la cubierta de goma 16 , cierre el soporte 12 del transmisor
nuevamente en la parte trasera del producto.
Fije el soporte, atornille 15 nuevamente el transmisor en la parte
trasera del producto y la placa de nombre.
El compartimiento de la baterías del transmisor con el soporte se
debe instalar con el tornillo 15 mientras se usa. Si el soporte está
dañado, deje de usar el producto.
Sincronizar el transmisor / receptor
El producto funciona en la frecuencia de 434 MHz que es muy común.
Para garantizar que la función no se vea afectada por timbres cercanos,

el transmisor y el receptor se deben sincronizar mediante encriptación.
Cada transmisor funciona con una encriptación diferente de la señal.
Sincronice el transmisor y el receptor como sigue:
Tan pronto como se instalen las baterías, el receptor entra en
modo de sincronización durante 1 minuto. Durante el modo de
sincronización, el indicador de señal 1 se enciende continuamente
en color azul.
También puede ingresar manualmente en modo de sincronización
manteniendo presionado el botón de sincronización 5 durante
3 segundos.
El indicador de señal 1 en el receptor se encenderá continua-
mente durante 1 minuto, indicando que el receptor está en modo
de sincronización.
Presione el botón de timbre 9 del transmisor, mientras el receptor
está en modo de sincronización. Si el receptor recibe la señal, la
luz continua azul del indicador de señal 1 parpadea 6 veces
para indicar que tuvo éxito la sincronización.
Ajustar el tipo de señal
El receptor puede indicar la recepción de una señal en la puerta ya
sea de forma óptica y acústica, acústica u óptica.
Usando el botón selector de tipo de señal 3, seleccione si se
debe indicar la señal de forma óptica y acústica, o solo acústica
y óptica.

Presione el botón selector de tipo de señal 3 una vez. Sonará
una señal acústica y luego parpadeará el indicador de señal 1.
El receptor ahora indicará la señal de la puerta de forma acústica
y óptica. Presione nuevamente el botón selector de tipo de señal
3. Sonará una señal acústica. El receptor indicará de forma
acústica la señal de la puerta. Presione nuevamente el botón se-
lector de tipo de señal 3. El receptor indicará de forma óptica
la señal de la puerta.
Cuando se agote la batería del receptor, parpadeará el indicador
de señal. Puede reemplazar la batería agotada con una nueva
del mismo tipo.
Ajustar el volumen
Presione el botón de volumen 5 hasta que se alcance el volumen
deseado. Hay un total de cuatro ajustes posibles de 4 volumen:
muy fuerte, fuerte, medio y suave.
Seleccionar el timbre
Nota: el producto tiene 16 timbres distintos.
Presione el botón de selección de melodía 4. Sonará la primera
señal audible.
Presione nuevamente el botón de selección de melodía 4 para
pasar a la siguiente señal audible.

Repita este proceso hasta que seleccione la señal audible que
desee. Se almacenará automáticamente la última señal audible
seleccionada.
Proceso para conectar el transmisor a un
sistema de timbre ya existente o un botón
de timbre ya existente
Retire el soporte 12 presionando el seguro 11 en la parte tra-
sera del transmisor y retire la cubierta de goma 16 (ver la fig. C1).
Abra la cubierta interna 14 con un atornillador de cruz (ver la
fig. F).
Retire el clip de plástico del orificio de salida del cable 19 con
un atornillador plano (ver la fig. G).
Inserte el cable a través del soporte del cable 20 y el orificio de
salida del cable 19 (ver la fig. H).
Conecte el cable a las terminales A y C (para conectar el timbre
existente) o a las terminales B y C (para conectar un botón exis-
tente de timbre) usando el atornillador (ver la fig. H).
Conectar el transmisor a un sistema
existente de timbre (ver la fig. I)
Extensión de un sistema existente de timbre:
Se puede extender un sistema ya existente de timbre con este producto.

El voltaje de operación del sistema de timbre existente debe estar entre
4–12 V. No importa si es de corriente directa o de corriente alterna
de 50 - 60 Hz. En caso de que tenga un sistema de timbre existente
con corriente directa, debe conectar la terminal positiva del timbre al
contacto C del transmisor y la terminal negativa al contacto A del
transmisor.
¡IMPORTANTE! Nunca invierta la polaridad. Esto puede dañar el
producto.
Las terminales de conexión A y C, que se encuentran en la tarjeta de
circuitos del transmisor que se muestra en la fig. I se debe conectar
directamente a las terminales de conexión eléctrica de los generadores
de señal (p. ej. timbre). El botón del transmisor también se puede usar
para este tipo de operación.
Nota: acuda a un electricista calificado en caso de que tenga pro-
blemas con la instalación.
Conectar a un botón existente
de timbre (ver la fig. J)
El botón de timbre por separado no se debe conectar al sistema exis-
tente de timbre. La batería debe permanecer en el transmisor. Con esta
finalidad, las terminales B y C cuentan con un cable de dos hilos co-
nectado al botón del timbre. El botón del timbre solo se puede conec-
tar al transmisor.

Resolución de problemas
Después de la influencia de condiciones ambientales extremas (p. ej.
un campo electromagnético intenso) se puede ver afectado el funcio-
namiento del producto. En este caso, retire las baterías del transmisor
y el receptor durante aproximadamente 2 minutos. Luego proceda como
se describe en la sección “Sincronizar el transmisor / receptor”.
Las descargas electrostáticas pueden provocar mal funcionamiento.
Si se presenta este mal funcionamiento, retire las baterías durante un
breve momento y vuelva a colocarlas. Luego proceda como se describe
en la sección “Sincronizar el transmisor/receptor”.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
Por ningún motivo utilice líquidos o detergentes,
pues éstos pueden dañar el producto.
El producto sólo debe ser limpiado por fuera con un paño suave
y seco.
Eliminación
Deshágase del empaque mediante sus instalaciones de reciclaje locales
y de acuerdo con las regulaciones federales, estatales y locales.

separación de residuos, los cuales están señalados con
abreviaturas (a) y números (b) que significan lo siguiente:
1–7: plásticos / 20–22: papel y tablero de fibra / 80–98:
materiales mixtos.

cómo desechar su producto desgastado.
Para ayudar a proteger el medio ambiente, elimine el producto ade-

Las baterías no deben ser eliminadas con los desechos del hogar.
Éstas pueden contener metales pesados tóxicos y requieren ser tratadas
como desechos especiales. Los símbolos químicos de los metales pe-
sados son: Cd = Cadmio, Hg = Mercurio, Pb = Plomo. Por esta razón
es importante eliminar las baterías usadas en un punto de recolección
local.

Garantía limitada de 3 años
Lo que cubre la presente garantía
La garantía incluye:
· Daños, quebraduras o incapacidad para funcionar debido a defectos.
· Daños que no hayan sido causados por el desgaste propio del uso
o por no seguir las instrucciones de seguridad y mantención incluidas
en el manual para el usuario.
Lo que no cubre esta garantía
La garantía no cubre daños causados por:
· El desgaste propio del uso del producto, incluidas las partes frágiles
(como interruptores, piezas de vidrio, etc.).
· Uso o transporte no indicado del producto.
· Desatención a las instrucciones de seguridad y mantención.
· Accidentes o causas de fuerza mayor (e.g. relámpagos, incendio,
inundación, etc.).
· Manipulación mal intencionada del producto (retirar la cubierta,
tornillos, etc.).
La presente garantía tampoco cubre daños indirectos o emergentes.
Sin embargo algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o limitación de
daños indirectos o emergentes, por lo que dicha exclusión o limitación
pudiera no aplicarse en su caso.

Período de cobertura y resolución de la garantía
La garantía es válida por 3 años a partir de la fecha de compra. La
empresa, según lo estime conveniente, devolverá el dinero o repondrá

· Reparará el producto.
