the warranty.
This warranty is not applicable in the following cases:

ESTABLECIMIENTO DEL TORQUE
¿Como utilizar su Nuevo Torquímetro Surtek?
• Tome el torquímetro con la mano izquierda de
forma que las graduaciones sean visibles. Libere el
mecanismo de torque girando la perilla de
seguridad en dirección contraria a las manecillas
del reloj, ver figura 1.
• Establezca el nivel del torque requerido girando
el mango graduado hasta encontrar el nivel exacto
en la escala de graduación.
1. Gire el mango graduado hasta que la escala en 0
se acerque a la graduación indicada más cercana
al nivel que quiere establecer.
2. Queda una diferencia por cubrir para llegar a su
nivel y ésta la obtendrá girando el mango
graduado hasta que el número sume el nivel que
usted desea ver, figura 2.
3. Asegure el mecanismo de torque girando la
perilla de seguridad de la base en dirección de las
manecillas del reloj.
• Los anteriores pasos aplican tanto para
graduaciones in-lb, como para kg-m.
• Instale el dado apropiado o accesorio en el
mando aplique a la tuerca o tornillo que requiere
de torque y jale el mango hasta sentir y/o escuchar
el click del torquímetro. No continue jalando luego
de que el mecanismo de torque se libera. Ponga
especial atención al establecer niveles bajo de
torque.
PRECAUCIONES
1. Si el torquímetro no ha sido utilizado o ha
estado almacenado por algún tiempo, opere varias
veces en un nivel bajo de torque para permitir que
el lubricante recubra el mecanismo de torque.
2. Cuando el torquímetro no esté en uso, manten-
ga el ajuste en el nivel de torque más bajo.

ADJUSTMENT OF TORQUE SETTING
How to use your new torque SURTEK.
• Balancing wrench in left with graduations visible
unlock knurled handle by turning lock nut counter-
clockwise see fig.1.
• Set amount of torque required by turning
knurled handle to read exact amount on case
graduations. Example: 504 in-lb.
3. No gire el mango debajo del menor nivel de
torque, en caso contrario, se desensemblará. Si esto
ocurre, empuje el mango suavemente hacia las
graduaciones. Al mismo tiempo, girelo hasta que
ensamble con la rosca interna. Cuando la rosca
interna es reensamblada, jale ligeramente hacia
atrás el mango y continue girando hasta la
graduación más baja. El torquímetro está ahora
listo para usarse y esto no afecta la calibración del
torquímetro.
4. No continúe jalando el torquímetro luego de
que el nivel de torque preseleccionado ha sido
alcanzado y el torquímetro ha sido liberado. Debe
eliminar cualquier presión en el mango y permitir
que el torquímetro automáticamente regrese a su
nivel normal de operación. El continuar aplicando
presión puede ocasionar daños en la parte a la que
se aplica el torque al exceder el nivel requerido.
5. Este torquímetro es de construcción fuerte y
diseñado para uso en taller, aunque también es un
instrumento de medición y precision, y debe ser
tratado como tal.
6. Limpie el torquímetro como una superficie seca.
No sumerja en ninguna clase de limpiador que
pueda afectar la presión del lubricante especial
interno con el que es empacado de origen.
7. Éste torquímetro ha sido calibrado y probado
antes de salir de la fábrica con una margen de
+-4%.

RECOMENDACIONES DE CALIBRACIÓN
• Uso menor a 3 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez al año.
• Uso de 3 a 5 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez cada 6 meses.
• Uso de 5 a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada 3 meses.
• Uso mayor a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada mes.
• El torquímetro deberá calibrarse cada vez que se
abuse de su uso o sea golpeado.
• La calibración debe realizarse en un lugar
autorizado y por personal calificado.
USO DE EXTENSIONES Y ADAPTADORES
Cuando se usa una extensión o adaptador
(incrementando la longitud efectiva del torquímetro)
cambiará el valor de torque. Para calcular el nuevo
valor, utilice la fórmula a la vuelta.
• Un número de variables, incluida la longitud del
adaptador o extensión, la longitud del torquímetro y
la variación de la posición de la mano en el mango
afectan la precisión del cálculo.
·TA = Torque aplicado en el extremo del adaptador.
· L = Distancia entre el cuarto y la posición de la
mano.
· TW = Lectura de la escala del torquímetro.
· A = Longitud del adaptador o extensión.
1. Turn knurled handle until the zero graduation
on the belivel edge of the knurled handle is lined
up with the vertical mark on the case, and is even
with the 480 in-lb graduation.
2. Turn knurled handle until 1 graduation on the
beveled edge of the handle is in line with the
vertical line on the case.
3. Lock handle securely by tuning lock nut
clock-wise. Wrench is now set al 504 in-lb. Torque
and is ready to use see fig.2.
• When setting for metric (kg-m), use name
procedures as setting for in-lb.
• Install the proper socket or attachment to the
square drive and apply to nut or boit and pull
handle until you feel and/or hear wrench click.
Release pull and wrench automatically reset for
next operation. Do not continue to pull after
wrench releases. Use special care at low torque
setting that pull stops when wrench clicks.
CAUTION
1. If wrench has not been or has been in stored for
some time, operate it several times at a low torque
setting which allow special internal lubricant to
recoat internal working parts.
2. When wrench is not in use, keep adjustment at
lowest torque setting.
3. Do not turn handle below lowest torque setting.
4. So not continue pulling on the wrench after
pre-set torque has been reached and the wrench
released. Pressure must be taken off the handle
and the wrench allowed to automatically reset it
self, continuing to apply pressure after the wrench
has released, will result in damage to the part
being toque by applying more than the specified
amount of torque.
5. Tool is rugged and designed for shop use, but, is
also a precision measuring instrument and should
be treated as such.
6. Clean wrench by wiping do not submerge in any
type of cleaner which may affect special high
pressure lube with which the wrench is packed at
the factory.
7. This torque wrench was calibrated and tested
before leaving the factory and is accurate to +-4%.
8. THIS A PRESICION MEASURING INSTRUMENTS.
CALIBRATION AND SERVICING MUST BE DONE
REGULARY AND IS THE OWNERS RESPONSABILITY.
9. Do not apply this wrench as a striking tool or a
conventional wrench.
CALIBRATION RECOMMENDATIONS.
• Less than three hour per week once a year.
• Between three and five hours per week once
each six months.
• Between five and twenty-five hours per week
once each three months.
• More than twenty-five hours per week once each
months.
• It will have to calibrate whenever one abuses its
struck use that is.
• Calibration must be done by quality personnel.
USE OF EXTENSIONS AND ADAPTERS
When using an extension or adapter (increasing the
effective length of the torque wrench) the output
torque value will change. To calculate the new
torque output of the wrench use the formula bellow.
• A number of variables including the length of the
adapter or extension, length of the wrench in
variations in hand position on the wrench wheel
affect the accuracy of the above calculation.
·TA = Torque exerted at the end of adapter.
· L = Distance between square drive hand position.
· TW = Wrench scale reading.
· A = Length of adapter or extension.

ESTABLECIMIENTO DEL TORQUE
¿Como utilizar su Nuevo Torquímetro Surtek?
• Tome el torquímetro con la mano izquierda de
forma que las graduaciones sean visibles. Libere el
mecanismo de torque girando la perilla de
seguridad en dirección contraria a las manecillas
del reloj, ver figura 1.
• Establezca el nivel del torque requerido girando
el mango graduado hasta encontrar el nivel exacto
en la escala de graduación.
1. Gire el mango graduado hasta que la escala en 0
se acerque a la graduación indicada más cercana
al nivel que quiere establecer.
2. Queda una diferencia por cubrir para llegar a su
nivel y ésta la obtendrá girando el mango
graduado hasta que el número sume el nivel que
usted desea ver, figura 2.
3. Asegure el mecanismo de torque girando la
perilla de seguridad de la base en dirección de las
manecillas del reloj.
• Los anteriores pasos aplican tanto para
graduaciones in-lb, como para kg-m.
• Instale el dado apropiado o accesorio en el
mando aplique a la tuerca o tornillo que requiere
de torque y jale el mango hasta sentir y/o escuchar
el click del torquímetro. No continue jalando luego
de que el mecanismo de torque se libera. Ponga
especial atención al establecer niveles bajo de
torque.
PRECAUCIONES
1. Si el torquímetro no ha sido utilizado o ha
estado almacenado por algún tiempo, opere varias
veces en un nivel bajo de torque para permitir que
el lubricante recubra el mecanismo de torque.
2. Cuando el torquímetro no esté en uso, manten-
ga el ajuste en el nivel de torque más bajo.

How to use your new torque SURTEK.
• Balancing wrench in left with graduations visible
unlock knurled handle by turning lock nut counter-
clockwise see fig.1.
• Set amount of torque required by turning
knurled handle to read exact amount on case
graduations. Example: 504 in-lb.
3. No gire el mango debajo del menor nivel de
torque, en caso contrario, se desensemblará. Si esto
ocurre, empuje el mango suavemente hacia las
graduaciones. Al mismo tiempo, girelo hasta que
ensamble con la rosca interna. Cuando la rosca
interna es reensamblada, jale ligeramente hacia
atrás el mango y continue girando hasta la
graduación más baja. El torquímetro está ahora
listo para usarse y esto no afecta la calibración del
torquímetro.
4. No continúe jalando el torquímetro luego de
que el nivel de torque preseleccionado ha sido
alcanzado y el torquímetro ha sido liberado. Debe
eliminar cualquier presión en el mango y permitir

RECOMENDACIONES DE CALIBRACIÓN
• Uso menor a 3 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez al año.
• Uso de 3 a 5 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez cada 6 meses.
• Uso de 5 a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada 3 meses.
• Uso mayor a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada mes.
• El torquímetro deberá calibrarse cada vez que se
abuse de su uso o sea golpeado.
• La calibración debe realizarse en un lugar
autorizado y por personal calificado.
USO DE EXTENSIONES Y ADAPTADORES
Cuando se usa una extensión o adaptador
(incrementando la longitud efectiva del torquímetro)
cambiará el valor de torque. Para calcular el nuevo
valor, utilice la fórmula a la vuelta.
• Un número de variables, incluida la longitud del
adaptador o extensión, la longitud del torquímetro y
la variación de la posición de la mano en el mango
afectan la precisión del cálculo.
·TA = Torque aplicado en el extremo del adaptador.
· L = Distancia entre el cuarto y la posición de la
mano.
· TW = Lectura de la escala del torquímetro.
· A = Longitud del adaptador o extensión.
1. Turn knurled handle until the zero graduation
on the belivel edge of the knurled handle is lined
up with the vertical mark on the case, and is even
with the 480 in-lb graduation.
2. Turn knurled handle until 1 graduation on the
beveled edge of the handle is in line with the
vertical line on the case.
3. Lock handle securely by tuning lock nut
clock-wise. Wrench is now set al 504 in-lb. Torque
and is ready to use see fig.2.
• When setting for metric (kg-m), use name
procedures as setting for in-lb.
• Install the proper socket or attachment to the
square drive and apply to nut or boit and pull
handle until you feel and/or hear wrench click.
Release pull and wrench automatically reset for
next operation. Do not continue to pull after
wrench releases. Use special care at low torque
setting that pull stops when wrench clicks.
CAUTION
1. If wrench has not been or has been in stored for
some time, operate it several times at a low torque
setting which allow special internal lubricant to
recoat internal working parts.
2. When wrench is not in use, keep adjustment at
lowest torque setting.
3. Do not turn handle below lowest torque setting.
4. So not continue pulling on the wrench after
pre-set torque has been reached and the wrench
released. Pressure must be taken off the handle
and the wrench allowed to automatically reset it
self, continuing to apply pressure after the wrench
has released, will result in damage to the part
being toque by applying more than the specified
amount of torque.
5. Tool is rugged and designed for shop use, but, is
also a precision measuring instrument and should
be treated as such.
6. Clean wrench by wiping do not submerge in any
type of cleaner which may affect special high
pressure lube with which the wrench is packed at
the factory.
7. This torque wrench was calibrated and tested
before leaving the factory and is accurate to +-4%.
8. THIS A PRESICION MEASURING INSTRUMENTS.
CALIBRATION AND SERVICING MUST BE DONE
REGULARY AND IS THE OWNERS RESPONSABILITY.
9. Do not apply this wrench as a striking tool or a
conventional wrench.
CALIBRATION RECOMMENDATIONS.
• Less than three hour per week once a year.
• Between three and five hours per week once
each six months.
• Between five and twenty-five hours per week
once each three months.
• More than twenty-five hours per week once each
months.
• It will have to calibrate whenever one abuses its
struck use that is.
• Calibration must be done by quality personnel.
USE OF EXTENSIONS AND ADAPTERS
When using an extension or adapter (increasing the
effective length of the torque wrench) the output
torque value will change. To calculate the new
torque output of the wrench use the formula bellow.
• A number of variables including the length of the
adapter or extension, length of the wrench in
variations in hand position on the wrench wheel
affect the accuracy of the above calculation.
·TA = Torque exerted at the end of adapter.
· L = Distance between square drive hand position.
· TW = Wrench scale reading.
· A = Length of adapter or extension.

ESTABLECIMIENTO DEL TORQUE
¿Como utilizar su Nuevo Torquímetro Surtek?
• Tome el torquímetro con la mano izquierda de
forma que las graduaciones sean visibles. Libere el
mecanismo de torque girando la perilla de
seguridad en dirección contraria a las manecillas
del reloj, ver figura 1.
• Establezca el nivel del torque requerido girando
el mango graduado hasta encontrar el nivel exacto
en la escala de graduación.
1. Gire el mango graduado hasta que la escala en 0
se acerque a la graduación indicada más cercana
al nivel que quiere establecer.
2. Queda una diferencia por cubrir para llegar a su
nivel y ésta la obtendrá girando el mango
graduado hasta que el número sume el nivel que
usted desea ver, figura 2.
3. Asegure el mecanismo de torque girando la
perilla de seguridad de la base en dirección de las
manecillas del reloj.
• Los anteriores pasos aplican tanto para
graduaciones in-lb, como para kg-m.
• Instale el dado apropiado o accesorio en el
mando aplique a la tuerca o tornillo que requiere
de torque y jale el mango hasta sentir y/o escuchar
el click del torquímetro. No continue jalando luego
de que el mecanismo de torque se libera. Ponga
especial atención al establecer niveles bajo de
torque.
PRECAUCIONES
1. Si el torquímetro no ha sido utilizado o ha
estado almacenado por algún tiempo, opere varias
veces en un nivel bajo de torque para permitir que
el lubricante recubra el mecanismo de torque.
2. Cuando el torquímetro no esté en uso, manten-
ga el ajuste en el nivel de torque más bajo.

How to use your new torque SURTEK.
• Balancing wrench in left with graduations visible
unlock knurled handle by turning lock nut counter-
clockwise see fig.1.
• Set amount of torque required by turning
knurled handle to read exact amount on case
graduations. Example: 504 in-lb.
3. No gire el mango debajo del menor nivel de
torque, en caso contrario, se desensemblará. Si esto
ocurre, empuje el mango suavemente hacia las
graduaciones. Al mismo tiempo, girelo hasta que
ensamble con la rosca interna. Cuando la rosca
interna es reensamblada, jale ligeramente hacia
atrás el mango y continue girando hasta la
graduación más baja. El torquímetro está ahora
listo para usarse y esto no afecta la calibración del
torquímetro.
4. No continúe jalando el torquímetro luego de
que el nivel de torque preseleccionado ha sido
alcanzado y el torquímetro ha sido liberado. Debe
eliminar cualquier presión en el mango y permitir
que el torquímetro automáticamente regrese a su
nivel normal de operación. El continuar aplicando
presión puede ocasionar daños en la parte a la que
se aplica el torque al exceder el nivel requerido.
5. Este torquímetro es de construcción fuerte y
diseñado para uso en taller, aunque también es un
instrumento de medición y precision, y debe ser
tratado como tal.
6. Limpie el torquímetro como una superficie seca.
No sumerja en ninguna clase de limpiador que
pueda afectar la presión del lubricante especial
interno con el que es empacado de origen.
7. Éste torquímetro ha sido calibrado y probado
antes de salir de la fábrica con una margen de
+-4%.

RECOMENDACIONES DE CALIBRACIÓN
• Uso menor a 3 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez al año.
• Uso de 3 a 5 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez cada 6 meses.
• Uso de 5 a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada 3 meses.
• Uso mayor a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada mes.
• El torquímetro deberá calibrarse cada vez que se
abuse de su uso o sea golpeado.
• La calibración debe realizarse en un lugar
autorizado y por personal calificado.
USO DE EXTENSIONES Y ADAPTADORES
Cuando se usa una extensión o adaptador
(incrementando la longitud efectiva del torquímetro)
cambiará el valor de torque. Para calcular el nuevo
valor, utilice la fórmula a la vuelta.
• Un número de variables, incluida la longitud del
adaptador o extensión, la longitud del torquímetro y
la variación de la posición de la mano en el mango
afectan la precisión del cálculo.
·TA = Torque aplicado en el extremo del adaptador.
· L = Distancia entre el cuarto y la posición de la
mano.
· TW = Lectura de la escala del torquímetro.
· A = Longitud del adaptador o extensión.
1. Turn knurled handle until the zero graduation
on the belivel edge of the knurled handle is lined
up with the vertical mark on the case, and is even
with the 480 in-lb graduation.
2. Turn knurled handle until 1 graduation on the
beveled edge of the handle is in line with the
vertical line on the case.
3. Lock handle securely by tuning lock nut
clock-wise. Wrench is now set al 504 in-lb. Torque
and is ready to use see fig.2.
• When setting for metric (kg-m), use name
procedures as setting for in-lb.
• Install the proper socket or attachment to the
square drive and apply to nut or boit and pull
handle until you feel and/or hear wrench click.
Release pull and wrench automatically reset for
next operation. Do not continue to pull after
wrench releases. Use special care at low torque
setting that pull stops when wrench clicks.
CAUTION
1. If wrench has not been or has been in stored for
some time, operate it several times at a low torque
setting which allow special internal lubricant to
recoat internal working parts.
2. When wrench is not in use, keep adjustment at
lowest torque setting.
3. Do not turn handle below lowest torque setting.
4. So not continue pulling on the wrench after
pre-set torque has been reached and the wrench
released. Pressure must be taken off the handle
and the wrench allowed to automatically reset it
self, continuing to apply pressure after the wrench
has released, will result in damage to the part
being toque by applying more than the specified
amount of torque.
5. Tool is rugged and designed for shop use, but, is
also a precision measuring instrument and should
be treated as such.
6. Clean wrench by wiping do not submerge in any
type of cleaner which may affect special high
pressure lube with which the wrench is packed at
the factory.
7. This torque wrench was calibrated and tested
before leaving the factory and is accurate to +-4%.
8. THIS A PRESICION MEASURING INSTRUMENTS.
CALIBRATION AND SERVICING MUST BE DONE
REGULARY AND IS THE OWNERS RESPONSABILITY.
9. Do not apply this wrench as a striking tool or a
conventional wrench.
CALIBRATION RECOMMENDATIONS.
• Less than three hour per week once a year.
• Between three and five hours per week once
each six months.
• Between five and twenty-five hours per week
once each three months.
• More than twenty-five hours per week once each
months.
• It will have to calibrate whenever one abuses its
struck use that is.
• Calibration must be done by quality personnel.
USE OF EXTENSIONS AND ADAPTERS
When using an extension or adapter (increasing the
effective length of the torque wrench) the output
torque value will change. To calculate the new
torque output of the wrench use the formula bellow.
• A number of variables including the length of the
adapter or extension, length of the wrench in
variations in hand position on the wrench wheel
affect the accuracy of the above calculation.
·TA = Torque exerted at the end of adapter.
· L = Distance between square drive hand position.
· TW = Wrench scale reading.
· A = Length of adapter or extension.

¿Como utilizar su Nuevo Torquímetro Surtek?
• Tome el torquímetro con la mano izquierda de
forma que las graduaciones sean visibles. Libere el
mecanismo de torque girando la perilla de
seguridad en dirección contraria a las manecillas
del reloj, ver figura 1.
• Establezca el nivel del torque requerido girando
el mango graduado hasta encontrar el nivel exacto
en la escala de graduación.
1. Gire el mango graduado hasta que la escala en 0
se acerque a la graduación indicada más cercana
al nivel que quiere establecer.
2. Queda una diferencia por cubrir para llegar a su
nivel y ésta la obtendrá girando el mango
graduado hasta que el número sume el nivel que
usted desea ver, figura 2.
3. Asegure el mecanismo de torque girando la
perilla de seguridad de la base en dirección de las
manecillas del reloj.
• Los anteriores pasos aplican tanto para
graduaciones in-lb, como para kg-m.
• Instale el dado apropiado o accesorio en el
mando aplique a la tuerca o tornillo que requiere
de torque y jale el mango hasta sentir y/o escuchar
el click del torquímetro. No continue jalando luego
de que el mecanismo de torque se libera. Ponga
especial atención al establecer niveles bajo de
torque.
PRECAUCIONES
1. Si el torquímetro no ha sido utilizado o ha
estado almacenado por algún tiempo, opere varias
veces en un nivel bajo de torque para permitir que
el lubricante recubra el mecanismo de torque.
2. Cuando el torquímetro no esté en uso, manten-
ga el ajuste en el nivel de torque más bajo.

How to use your new torque SURTEK.
• Balancing wrench in left with graduations visible

• Set amount of torque required by turning
knurled handle to read exact amount on case
graduations. Example: 504 in-lb.
3. No gire el mango debajo del menor nivel de
torque, en caso contrario, se desensemblará. Si esto
ocurre, empuje el mango suavemente hacia las
graduaciones. Al mismo tiempo, girelo hasta que
ensamble con la rosca interna. Cuando la rosca

RECOMENDACIONES DE CALIBRACIÓN
• Uso menor a 3 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez al año.
• Uso de 3 a 5 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos 1 vez cada 6 meses.
• Uso de 5 a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada 3 meses.
• Uso mayor a 25 horas por semana, cálibre por lo
menos cada mes.
• El torquímetro deberá calibrarse cada vez que se
abuse de su uso o sea golpeado.
• La calibración debe realizarse en un lugar
autorizado y por personal calificado.
USO DE EXTENSIONES Y ADAPTADORES
Cuando se usa una extensión o adaptador
(incrementando la longitud efectiva del torquímetro)
cambiará el valor de torque. Para calcular el nuevo
valor, utilice la fórmula a la vuelta.
• Un número de variables, incluida la longitud del
adaptador o extensión, la longitud del torquímetro y
la variación de la posición de la mano en el mango
afectan la precisión del cálculo.
·TA = Torque aplicado en el extremo del adaptador.
· L = Distancia entre el cuarto y la posición de la
mano.

1. Turn knurled handle until the zero graduation
on the belivel edge of the knurled handle is lined
up with the vertical mark on the case, and is even
with the 480 in-lb graduation.
2. Turn knurled handle until 1 graduation on the
beveled edge of the handle is in line with the
vertical line on the case.
3. Lock handle securely by tuning lock nut
clock-wise. Wrench is now set al 504 in-lb. Torque
and is ready to use see fig.2.
• When setting for metric (kg-m), use name
procedures as setting for in-lb.
• Install the proper socket or attachment to the
square drive and apply to nut or boit and pull
handle until you feel and/or hear wrench click.
Release pull and wrench automatically reset for
next operation. Do not continue to pull after
wrench releases. Use special care at low torque
setting that pull stops when wrench clicks.
CAUTION
1. If wrench has not been or has been in stored for
some time, operate it several times at a low torque
setting which allow special internal lubricant to
recoat internal working parts.
2. When wrench is not in use, keep adjustment at
lowest torque setting.
3. Do not turn handle below lowest torque setting.
4. So not continue pulling on the wrench after
pre-set torque has been reached and the wrench
released. Pressure must be taken off the handle
and the wrench allowed to automatically reset it
self, continuing to apply pressure after the wrench
has released, will result in damage to the part
being toque by applying more than the specified
amount of torque.
5. Tool is rugged and designed for shop use, but, is
also a precision measuring instrument and should
be treated as such.
6. Clean wrench by wiping do not submerge in any
type of cleaner which may affect special high
pressure lube with which the wrench is packed at
the factory.
7. This torque wrench was calibrated and tested
before leaving the factory and is accurate to +-4%.
8. THIS A PRESICION MEASURING INSTRUMENTS.
CALIBRATION AND SERVICING MUST BE DONE
REGULARY AND IS THE OWNERS RESPONSABILITY.
9. Do not apply this wrench as a striking tool or a
conventional wrench.
CALIBRATION RECOMMENDATIONS.
• Less than three hour per week once a year.
• Between three and five hours per week once
each six months.
• Between five and twenty-five hours per week
once each three months.
• More than twenty-five hours per week once each
months.
• It will have to calibrate whenever one abuses its
struck use that is.
• Calibration must be done by quality personnel.
USE OF EXTENSIONS AND ADAPTERS
When using an extension or adapter (increasing the
effective length of the torque wrench) the output
torque value will change. To calculate the new
torque output of the wrench use the formula bellow.
• A number of variables including the length of the
adapter or extension, length of the wrench in
variations in hand position on the wrench wheel
affect the accuracy of the above calculation.
·TA = Torque exerted at the end of adapter.
· L = Distance between square drive hand position.
· TW = Wrench scale reading.
