CHARGER LED CHARGE-STATE INDICATOR
The battery charger is equipped with an LED charge-state indicator that alerts you to
the state of charging, as well as conditions that may delay or prevent charging.
• NO LED: normal condition for the charger without a battery pack.
If a battery pack is on the charger, ensure that it is fully seated.
• STEADY GREEN LED: battery pack is READY FOR USE.
• BLINKING GREEN LED: battery pack is charging.
• STEADY RED LED: the battery pack temperature is beyond the acceptable
range (32°F/0°C to 104°F/40°C). Allow the battery pack to reach the acceptable
temperature range before charging. The pack may be left on the charger as the
temperature adjusts. Charging will begin when the proper temperature is reached.
• BLINKING RED LED: a fault condition exists. There are several
potential causes. Follow these troubleshooting steps:
1) Check to ensure that the plugs into the
charger and the outlet are fully inserted.
2) Make sure the charger is
receiving the correct voltage.
3) If available, try charging a
different battery pack (only packs
specified for this charger).
If this does not correct the problem,
contact Oregon® Cordless Tool
System customer service.

CHARGING
1. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
2. Never charge a frozen battery.
3. In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapors can be emitted. Ventilate
the area and seek medical help in case of exposure to battery liquids or vapors.
4. Never smoke or allow an open spark or flame in the vicinity of the battery.
5. Do not operate charger in a closed-in area or restrict ventilation in any way.
6. This charger is intended for dry location use only. Never use the
charger in the rain or in extremely wet conditions.
7. Make sure all plugs are correctly mated with their receptacles.
8. To prevent overheating and resulting risk of fire, make sure the air vents
remain unobstructed. Do not place the battery charger on or use in close
proximity to flammable surfaces such as paper, textiles, etc.

5. There are no user serviceable parts inside the charger, do not disassemble.

The charger should be clean, dry, and free of punctures or other damage.
The battery tray and contact terminals should be free of debris.
If the charger terminals are dirty, unplug the charger and clean the terminals
with a soft, dry cloth prior to use. Dirt or oil on the contacts can cause a
poor connection, resulting in loss of power or inability to function.

and two (2) years if used for commercial purposes. This limited warranty applies to
Oregon® Cordless Tool System brand manufactured products. During the warranty
period, Blount will replace or, at its option, repair for the original purchaser only, free of
charge, any product or part which is found upon examination by Blount to be defective in
material and/or workmanship. The purchaser shall be responsible for all transportation
charges and any cost of removing any part submitted for replacement under this warranty.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 6. Power cord provided is per local region. For other regions, use certified North American Type SPT-2 18/2 AWG cord with NEMA 1-15P 120V plug or European Type H03H2-F 2 x 0.75 mm2 with “Europlug” (Type C) 240V plug. Suitable cords are available at your Oregon Cordless Dealer. CHARGING 6. This charger is intended for dry location use only. Never use the charger in the rain or in extremely wet conditions. 7. Make sure all plugs are correctly mated with their receptacles. 8. To prevent overheating and resulting risk of fire, make sure the air vents remain unobstructed. Do not place the battery charger on or use in close proximity to flammable surfaces such as paper, textiles, etc. MAINTENANCE 1. Keep charger clean - never immerse in water. 2. Do not operate the charger with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply plug is damaged, it must be replaced. 3. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging from the charger. 4. Do not use this battery charger for any other use than intended. 5. Remove the battery pack from the charger before storing or transporting. CHARGER LED CHARGE-STATE INDICATOR The battery charger is equipped with an LED charge-state indicator that alerts you to the state of charging, as well as conditions that may delay or prevent charging. • NO LED: normal condition for the charger without a battery pack. If a battery pack is on the charger, ensure that it is fully seated. • STEADY GREEN LED: battery pack is READY FOR USE. • BLINKING GREEN LED: battery pack is charging. • STEADY RED LED: the battery pack temperature is beyond the acceptable range (32°F/0°C to 104°F/40°C). Allow the battery pack to reach the acceptable temperature range before charging. The pack may be left on the charger as the temperature adjusts. Charging will begin when the proper temperature is reached. • BLINKING RED LED: a fault condition exists. There are several potential causes.
