Operation
This oven is designed for cooking
foodstuffs; never use it for other
purposes.
When opening the oven door during
or at the end of cooking be careful
of the stream of hot air, which
comes out of the oven.
Be very careful when using the
cooker. The extreme heat of the
heating elements makes the
shelves and other parts very hot.
If you should for whatever reason use
aluminium foil to cook food in the
oven, never allow it to come into
direct contact with the floor of the
oven.
When cleaning the oven, proceed
with care: never spray anything onto
the grease filter (if fitted), the heating
elements and the thermostat sensor.
If is dangerous to make
modifications of any kind to this
appliance or to its specifications.
During the baking, roasting and
grilling process, the oven window
and the other parts of the appliance
get hot, so children should be kept
away from the appliance. Take care,
if connecting electrical appliances
to sockets near the oven, that
cables do not come into contact with
hot rings or get caught in the oven
door.

electrolux 19
Safety Thermostat
To prevent dangerous overheating
(through incorrect use of the appliance
or defective components), the oven is
fitted with a safety thermostat, which
interrupts the power supply. The oven
switches back on again automatically,
when the temperature drops.
Should the safety thermostat trigger due
to incorrect use of the appliance, it is
enough to remedy the error after the oven
has cooled down; if on the other hand,
the thermostat triggers because of a
defective component, please contact
Customer Service.
Cooling fan
The cooling fan is designed to cool
the the oven and the control panel. The
fan switches on automatically after a
few minutes of cooking. Warm air is
blown out through the aperture near the
oven door handle. When the oven is
switched off, the fan may run on after the
oven is switched off to keep the controls
cool. This is quite normal.
The action of the cooling fan will
depend on how long the oven has
been used and at what tempera-
ture. It may not switch in at all at
lower temperature settings nor run
on where the oven has only been
used for a short time.
Shelf supports
The oven has four shelf levels.
The shelf positions are counted
from the bottom of the oven as
shown in the diagram.
It is important that these shelves
are correctly positioned as shown
in the diagram.

It is possible to buy telescopic runners
separately.
Each level can be fitted with
telescopic runners to allow for an easier
operation when inserting or removing the
shelves.
- Pull the right and left hand telescopic
shelf supports completely out, as
shown in the picture 19.
- Place the shelf or the grill pan on the
telescopic shelf supports, then gently
push them all inside the oven (see the
picture 19).
Do not attempt to close the
oven door if the telescopic
shelf supports are not
completely inside the oven.
This could damage the door
enamel and glass.
Telescopic shelf supports and
other accessories get very hot;
use oven gloves or similar.
Make sure that both the
telescopic runners are placed
on parallel levels.

Practical Tips
Fan Cooking
Here heat transfer is effected by hot air,
which is set in motion by the fan wheel
in the back wall of the oven (forced
convection).
This distributes the heat quickly and
evenly through the oven. As a result
several dishes can be cooked at the same
time on different levels (Fig. 20). The
constant air movement means no smell
or taste is transferred between the
different dishes.
With fan cooking up to 2 trays of biscuits
can be inserted at the same time. When
baking or roasting on only one level it is
recommended that you use the lower
levels, so that you can see better. Fan
cooking is particularly suitable for
sterilising and drying mushrooms or fruit.
Always keep the oven door
closed while cooking.
This oven is equipped with an exclusive
cooking system that creates a natural air
stream and keeps the cooking vapours
circulating.
Food is therefore cooked in a constantly
moist atmosphere, which cooks the food
so that it is tender inside and crispy
outside. The cooking times and the
energy consumption are reduced to a
minimum. Steam is created during
cooking, which can escape when the
door is opened.
This is normal.
When opening the oven door during
or at the end of cooking, be careful
of the stream of hot air, which comes
out of the oven.
When food is heated, steam is
created, like in a kettle. When the
steam comes into contact with the
glass in the oven door, it
condenses and creates water
droplets.
To reduce condensation, always
preheat the empty oven for 10
minutes.
We recommend you wipe the water
droplets away after every cooking
process.
Conventional Cooking
Heat from above and below. Using the
middle shelf levels is recommended.
Should the dish require more heat from
above or from below, then use the upper
or the lower shelf levels.
Fig. 20
Fan Cooking
Top Heating element only
This function is suitable for finishing
cooked dishes, e.g. lasagne, shepherds
pie, cauliflower cheese etc.
Bottom Heating element only
This function is particularly useful when
blind-baking pastry. It may also be used
to finish off quiches or flans to ensure the
base pastry is cooked through.
22 electrolux
Thermal Grilling
When using the thermal grill, set a
maximum temperature of 200 °C.
As a result, grill and fan start to work in
alternation (convection mode). This mode
of operation means that the heat can
penetrate the food evenly, without
exposing the surface to the direct
radiation of the grill for too long a time.
This function is particularly suitable
for:
preparing large pieces of meat, poultry
and whole fish such as trout, mackerel
or grey mullet.
Pizza Function
The bottom element provides direct heat
to the base of pizzas, quiches or pies,
while the fan ensures air is circulated to
cook the pizza toppings or pie fillings.
To obtain the best results use the lower
shelf levels.
Grilling
All types of meat are suitable for grilling,
the only exceptions being game and
mince. Meat and fish are brushed with
oil before being grilled.
The flatter the meat, the nearer the grill
element it should be grilled and vice
versa.
The grill can be inserted with the curve
positioned upwards or downwards. To
achieve good browning, insert the grill
shelf into the 4th side rails, i.e. close up
under the grill element.
A little water in the roasting tray makes
cleaning easier. Insert the roasting tray
into the first side rails from the bottom.
The oven door must remain closed during
every baking, roasting or grilling process.
While the oven is operating, the oven
light remains switched on.
electrolux 23
meat is cooked: if it cannot be depressed,
it is cooked through. Roast beef and
fillet, which is to remain pink inside, must
be roasted at a higher temperature in a
shorter time.
If cooking meat directly on the oven shelf,
insert the roasting pan in the shelf level
below to catch the juices.
Leave the joint to stand for at least 15
minutes, so that the meat juices do not
run out.
To reduce the build up of smoke in the
oven, it is recommended to pour a little
water in the roasting pan. To prevent
condensation forming, add water several
times. The plates can be kept warm in
the oven at minimum temperature until
serving.
Caution!
Do not line the oven with alu-
minium foil and do not place a
roasting pan or baking tray on
the floor, as otherwise the oven
enamel will be damaged by the
heat build-up.
Cooking times
Cooking times can vary according to the
different composition, ingredients and
amounts of liquid in the individual dishes.
Note the settings of your first cooking or
roasting experiments to gain experience
for later preparation of the same dishes.
Based upon your own experiences you
will be able to alter the values given in
the tables.
Hints and Tips
On baking:
Cakes and pastries usually require a
medium temperature (150°C-200°C) and
therefore it is necessary to preheat the
oven for about 10 minutes.
Do not open the oven door before 3/4 of
the baking time has elapsed.
Shortcrust pastry is baked in a springform
tin or on a tray for up to 2/3 of the baking
time and then garnished before being fully
baked. This further baking time depends
on the type and amount of topping or
filling. Sponge mixtures must separate
with difficulty from the spoon. The baking
time would be unnecessarily extended
by too much liquid.
If two baking trays with pastries or
biscuits are inserted into the oven at the
same time, a shelf level must be left free
between the trays.
If two baking trays with pastries or
biscuits are inserted into the oven at the
same time, the trays must be swapped
and turned around after about 2/3 of the
baking time.
On Roasting:
Do not roast joints smaller than 1 kg.
Smaller pieces could dry out when
roasting. Dark meat, which is to be well
done on the outside but remain medium
or rare inside, must be roasted at a higher
temperature (200°C-250°C).
White meat, poultry and fish, on the other
hand, require a lower temperature
(150°C-175°C). The ingredients for a
sauce or gravy should only be added to
the roasting pan right at the beginning if
the cooking time is short. Otherwise add
them in the last half hour.
You can use a spoon to test whether the

NOTES
26 electrolux
Before cleaning switch the
oven off and let it cool down.
The appliance must not be
cleaned with a superheated
steam cleaner or a steam jet
cleaner.
Important:
Before carrying out any
cleaning operation, the appliance must
be disconnected from the power supply.
To ensure a long life for your appliance,
it is necessary to perform the following
cleaning operations regularly:
- Only perform when the oven has
cooled down.
- Clean the enamelled parts with
soapy water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Dry the stainless steel parts and glass
with a soft cloth.
- If there are stubborn stains, use
commercially available for stainless
steel or warm vinegar.
The oven’s enamel is extremely durable
and highly impermeable. The action of
hot fruit acids (from lemons, plums or
similar) can however leave permanent,
dull, rough marks on the surface of the
enamel. However such marks in the
brightly polished surface of the enamel
does not affect the operation of the oven.
Clean the oven thoroughly after every
use. This is the easiest way to clean dirt
off. It prevents dirt being burnt on.

Cleaning the oven door
The following instructions explain how to
disassemble the oven door as it is supplied
by the Manufacturer.
If your oven door has been
reversed, please note that the
references to the right or left side
have to be switched.

After removing the inner glasses, clean the
oven door and the glasses.
We recommend to clean the oven door
using only a wet sponge and dry it after
cleaning with a soft cloth. Never use steel
wool, acids or abrasive products as they
can damage the surface.
After cleaning, place two inner glasses
back in their original positions by inserting
them in the rubber distance holders D.
Figure 24. To correctly mount the
inner glass C (without stripes along
the sides) the dot visible in the glass
should appear in the top left angle
of the glass itself.
Figure 24. The inner pane B (with
side decors) must be arranged
with the decorated surface to the
inner side of the door. The slight
roughness of the printing must not
be discernible when you stroke
your fingers over the visible
surface.
After placing the inner glasses back:
Figure 25. insert the perforated plate A
back in its original position and check
that everything is securely fastened and
firm.
DO NOT clean the oven door

Telescopic pull-out rails
The shelf support rails on the left and
right hand sides of the oven can be re-
moved for cleaning the side walls.
Removing the shelf support rails
First pull the front of the rail away from
the oven wall and then unhitch at the
back (26, 27).
Fitting the shelf support rails
To install, first reattach the rails at the
back, then put them into position at the
front and press them into place (28).To
clean the shelf support rails, soak in
warm soapy water and remove stubborn
marks with a well wetted soap impreg-
nated pad. Rinse well and dry with a soft
cloth.
It is possible to remove the
telescopic runners only, unlocking
the elements as shown on page
20.
The telescopic runners must not
be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Do not attempt to remove the
telescopic runners until the oven
has cooled down.
Appliances in stainless steel or alu-
minium
We recommend you only clean the oven
door with a wet sponge and then dry it
afterwards with a soft cloth. Never use
scourers, acids or harsh abrasives, as
these can damage the surface. Clean the
panel with the same care.
If necessary, the door hinges
can be reversed. This
procedure must only be
performed by the Technical
Service Department.
Do not pull out the telescopic
runners to remove them from the
side rails. Sharp edges could
cause injuries.

Termostato de seguridad
Para evitar un sobrecalentamiento
peligroso (debido a un uso indebido del
aparato o a componentes defectuosos),

diferentes alimentos.
En el funcionamiento con aire caliente se
pueden introducir hasta 2 bandejas de
bollería al mismo tiempo. Cuando se
cuece en un solo nivel, se recomienda
utilizar las guías inferiores para obtener
una mejor visión. El funcionamiento con
aire caliente también resulta ideal para
esterilizar y secar setas o fruta.
Asar
Fig. 20
electrolux 59
curvatura hacia arriba o hacia abajo.
recipiente, bandeja
recogedora de grasa o bandeja
lisa en la base, ya que, de lo
contrario, el esmalte del horno
resultará dañado debido a la
acumulación de calor
resultante.

termostato.
No use jamás productos
abrasivos, lana de acero o
limpiadores con blanqueadores
que podrían dañar el esmalte y el
cristal de la puerta del horno.
La cavidad del horno
La cavidad esmaltada del horno se limpia
mejor mientras esté todavía un poco
caliente. Es aconsejable pasar un paño
suave mojado en agua con jabón
templada después de cada uso.
Sin embargo, de cuando en cuando, una
limpieza a fondo será necesaria con un
adecuado limpiador de hornos.
En caso de manchas especialmente
resistentes puede usar productos aptos
para acero inoxidable o un poco de
vinagre templado.
Al cocinar frutas algunas gotas
de ácidos calentados en exceso
pueden salpicar al esmalte y
producir manchas difíciles de
quitar. Esto puede afectar el bril-
lo del esmalte, pero no tendrá
ninguna consecuencia sobre el
funcionamiento del horno. Para
evitar que tales manchas se
incrusten debido a la cocción
siguiente, limpie cuidadosamente
la cavidad del horno siempre que
cueza fruta.

características);
legales vigentes;
se puede acceder fácilmente a la
toma o al disyuntor omnipolar utilizados
para la conexión después de instalar el
aparato.
H07 RN-F; H05 RN-F; H05 RR-F;
H05 VV-F; H05 V2V2-F; H05 BB-F.

Encastrado
Es importante que las dimensiones y
materiales de los muebles próximos al
horno sean los adecuados y resistan
temperaturas elevadas.
necesario.
74 electrolux
Fijacion en el mueble
- Abra la puerta del horno;
- Fije el horno al mueble mediante los
cuatro separadores suministrados con
el aparato (A), que encajan
exactamente en los orificios del marco
y, a continuación, coloque cuatro
tornillos para madera (B).
Cuando se instale una encimera
sobre el horno, las conexiones eléctricas
de ambos tendrán que realizarse por
separado por motivos de seguridad. Esto
también permitirá separar el horno del
mueble con facilidad cuando sea
necesario. Utilice cables prolongadores
de potencia adecuada.
electrolux 75
