The cable is the disconnecting device.

Install this unit so that the cable can be

unplugged from the USB terminal of PC

immediately.

use. If such interference occurs, please

• Do not press the top panel of this unit

• Do not use this unit while holding it

directly against your ear or body.

• Powerful magnets are installed inside this

unit. Keep this unit and other magnetized

Placement

• Place this unit on an even surface.

• Use on a level surface. This unit may fall

off if placed on an inclined or vertical

• Wireless transmission and/or usage with

settings of a device, it can fail to connect

• This system supports Bluetooth

security features. But depending on the

operating environment and/or settings,

Range of use

Use this device at a maximum range of

10 m.

The range can decrease depending on

the environment, obstacles or

interference.

Interference from other devices

• This unit may not function properly and

troubles such as noise and sound jumps

may arise due to radio wave interference

if this unit is located too close to other

Bluetooth

devices or the devices that

use the 2.4 GHz band.

• This unit may not function properly if

radio waves from a nearby broadcasting

station, etc. is too strong.

Intended usage

• This unit is for normal, general use only.

• Do not use this system near an

equipment or in an environment that is

sensitive to radio frequency interference

(example: airports, hospitals,

laboratories, etc).

Turn off the power of this unit and wipe with

dry soft cloth. Disconnect the USB cable

when the USB cable is used.

• When it get very dirty, wipe off dirt with a

cloth immersed in water and wrung

strongly, and then wipe with dry soft

cloth.

• Solvents such as benzine, thinner,

alcohol, oil, detergents, etc., may cause

the external case to be altered or the

coating may come off, so do not use

them.

• Before using chemically treated cloth,

read the instructions that came with the

cloth carefully.

Check the supplied accessories before using

this unit.

unit, so do not use with other

devices. Also, do not use the USB

cable for other devices with this

unit.

• Depending on the material, surface

finish, and shape of the object (desk,

etc.) on which this unit is placed, not

much sound may be produced. Choose

an object that produces sound well.

∫ Placement

Place this unit in a location as flat and stable

as possible.

• Before use, remove dust and other

particles on the rubber pad of the stand.

• Vibrations are transmitted to all objects

on the surface where this unit is placed.

Avoid placing unnecessary items on the

surface and take care to prevent this unit

and other items from falling.

Depending on the material of the contact

surface, this unit may stick too firmly to the

surface, making its removal difficult.

If it is difficult to remove this unit, rotate it in the

direction of the arrow (A) to lift it.

Do not rotate this unit in the opposite direction.

This may cause the stand of this unit to come

off.

∫ Cautions for using around water

For the splashproof performance, read

the information on IPX4 (above) and

observe the following points. Improper

use may result in a malfunction:

• Securely close the terminal cover.

• Do not open or close the terminal cover

with wet hands or when water droplets

are on this unit. Doing so may cause

malfunction such as terminal rusting with

the water droplets.

• Do not connect and use a USB cable or

an audio cable (not supplied).

• Do not pour soap water or detergent, or

immerse in water.

• Remove any hair, lint, sand, dust, etc.,

that may be attached to the rubber seal

on the terminal cover before closing.

• Leaving the device with water droplets in

a cold region may result to malfunction

such as the covers stuck closed.

• When water enters inside this unit, stop

using this unit, and contact the nearest

Dealer or Service Center. Malfunction

due to exposure to water by improper

handling by the customer will not be

covered by the warranty. Supplied

accessories are not splashproof.

About the IPX4 (liquid ingress

This unit retains its functionality after

being sprayed with water, provided that

the following conditions are met:

• Room temperature tap water is

sprayed.

• Water is sprayed from a distance of

approx. 20 cm away from this unit.

• Water is sprayed at all angles with

multiple nozzles at a rate of 1.8 litres

per minute for 10 minutes.

• Supplied USB cable is not

splashproof.

correctly, like when you cannot turn

off/on the power.

This unit has a built-in battery. Please charge the battery before using this unit for the first time.

• If the battery level is low when this unit is turned on, the Battery indicator (red) (> 6) blinks

slowly.

∫ Charging the battery

Connect this unit with the power

turned off and the PC with the

power turned on using the USB

cable (supplied).

• If charging is necessary, the

Battery indicator (red) lights. When

charging is complete, the Battery

indicator goes off.

Battery life in use/Battery charge time/Rechargeable times

Measured by the test method established by the company [while connecting with Bluetooth

turning off Boost Mode (> 9), using at the surrounding temperature of 25 oC]

When charging at the surrounding temperature of 25 oC after the battery is depleted.

∫ Using and charging with connecting to a PC turned on

Press [Í/I] for turning on this unit. The Bluetooth

indicator (blue) blinks or lights, and it is

possible to operate this unit with the supplied power from a PC.

• It takes longer to charge while this unit is turned on.

• The maximum level of the volume during connecting to a PC is set below the normal

maximum level.

Note

• You may need to charge the battery before using this unit.

• Do not use any other USB cables except the supplied one. (Operation is not guaranteed.)

• When the battery indicator stays lit for a long time, there may be an error. Disconnect the USB

cable first, and then charge this unit again. If the battery indicator still does not go off, a

malfunction may have occurred. In this case, send this unit in for repair.

• When this unit is not used over a long period of time, charge the built-in battery at least once

every six months to prevent it from deteriorating.

• Communication is not possible when this unit is connected to a PC with the USB cable.

• Charging may not start if the battery level is sufficiently high even if it is not full.

• It is recommended to charge the battery in the temperature of between 10 oC and 35 oC. The

Battery indicator (red) may flash and charging may not be possible when it is out of

recommended temperature range.

• The battery may not charge when the temperature surrounding the battery is high during the

operation or right after the operation even when it is within the recommended temperature

range. In such case, stop the usage and let it cool down.

• To ensure safety, in the case of an excessive input signal, the system may be automatically

interrupted and power is turned off.

By using the Bluetooth

connection, you can listen to the sound of the Bluetooth

audio device wirelessly.

• Refer to the operating instructions of the Bluetooth

device for further instruction

on how to connect a Bluetooth

device.

While charging this unit or after charging this unit, turn on the Bluetooth

feature of the device

and place the device near this unit.

1 Press [Í/I] to turn this unit on.

• The Bluetooth

indicator (blue) blinks slowly.

• If this unit is being used for the first time (factory preset state):

The Bluetooth

indicator (blue) blinks fast.  The unit will enter pairing standby.

 Skip to step 3.

2 To enter pairing mode, touch and hold [ ] for at least 2 seconds.

• [ ] will blink fast.

3 Select “SC-RB5” from the Bluetooth

device’s menu.

• The MAC address “” (“” stands for a character that is unique to each set.)

may be displayed before “SC-RB5” is displayed.

• [ ] lights up and the device is connected to this unit.

4 Start playback on the Bluetooth

device.

∫ Connecting a paired Bluetooth

device

1 Press [Í/I] to turn this unit on.

• The Bluetooth

indicator (blue) blinks slowly.

• This unit may be connected to the last-used Bluetooth

device. At this point, please

perform Step 3.

• If [ ] lights, a different Bluetooth

device is already connected with this unit.

Disconnect it.

2 Select “SC-RB5” from the Bluetooth

device’s menu.

3 Start playback on the Bluetooth

device.

∫ Disconnecting a Bluetooth

device

• Turn off this unit or the device.

• Stop / disable the Bluetooth

transmission of the device.

Note

• If prompted for the passkey, input “0000”.

• You can register up to 8 devices with this unit. If a 9th device is paired, the device that has not

been used for the longest time will be replaced.

• This unit can only be connected to one device at a time.

• When enjoying video contents with this function, the video and audio output may not be

synchronised.

frequency band.

• The default setting is on.

• When the Boost Mode is on, the indicator (blue) lights up.

Note

• If sound is distorted during playback, switch off the “Boost Mode”.

• When saving the power consumption, set “Boost Mode” to “off”.

• Location of this unit may move due to vibration.

The sound illumination bars light in a way synchronized with the loudness of your audio content.

• The sound illumination bars do not produce much light at low volume levels.

• The default setting is on.

You can listen to audio via the AUX IN terminal (> 6) when this unit is connected to a device with

an audio cable (not supplied).

Note

• Depending on the track or the volume, the flashing pattern of the illumination bars differs.

• When using the AUX input, AUX input has priority than the Bluetooth

features.

• The setting of the Bluetooth

is not changed even if the audio cable (not supplied) is inserted

into AUX IN terminal.

• When using the AUX input, the volume may seem low depending on the connected device. In

that case, check if the volume limit can be changed on the device. For details, refer to the

manual of the device.

• If an audio cable is inserted during audio playback with a Bluetooth

connection, noise may

occur. In this case, stop the playback on the device connected via Bluetooth

You can simultaneously output sound from multiple SC-RB5 units connected with audio cables

(not supplied). Connect the first SC-RB5 unit (AUDIO OUT terminal) to the second unit (AUX IN

terminal), and then connect the second unit (AUDIO OUT terminal) to the third unit (AUX IN

terminal).

• The sound effect will be controlled separately by each unit. Make the same sound settings on

the additional unit if necessary.

• Up to 3 units can be connected. Operation cannot be guaranteed if 4 or more units are

connected.

This unit automatically turns off if there is no audio input and no operation is performed for

approximately 10 minutes.

Note

• This function will not operate when the AUX input is used while connected with the USB cable.

• This function may operate even when the music is being played back if the volume of the

connected device is low.

• This function may not operate depending on the connected device.

Perform the following when you want to delete pairing device information, etc.

1 Press [Í/I] to turn this unit on.

2 Touch and hold [ ] and [VOL +] until [VOL –] indicator turns off.

The pairing device information will be deleted by the reset, so it will be necessary to perform

pairing again. Delete the pairing information for this unit from the Bluetooth

device, then perform

the pairing operation again. (See “Bluetooth

pairing” > 8)

Before requesting service, make the following

checks. If you are in doubt about some of the

check points, or if the solutions indicated in the

following guide do not solve the problem,

consult your dealer for instructions.

Sound from the device is cut off.

• This unit is a vibration speaker.

Depending on the object that is in

contact with this unit, the sound

quality and volume vary. If sound is

not output as desired, change the

object on which this unit is placed.

• The device is out of the 10 m

communication range. Move the

device nearer to this unit. (See “About

Bluetooth

” > 4)

• Remove any obstacle between this

unit and the device.

• Switch off any wireless LAN device.

• Check the volume and settings of the

connected device.

• Depending on the connected device,

the sound may break up or noise may

be generated. In such cases, lower

the volume on the connected device.

• If the sound skips or is not output

correctly in other ways, perform “To

return to the factory preset state”

(> 10), and perform “Bluetooth

pairing” (> 8) again.

The device cannot be connected.

• Refer to the operating instructions of

the device, and perform the pairing

operation again. (See “Bluetooth

operations”

> 8)

• Make sure that this unit is not

connected to a different device.

The device is connected but audio

cannot be heard from this unit.

• For some built-in Bluetooth

devices,

you have to set the audio output to

“SC-RB5” manually. Read the

operating instructions of the device

for details.

This unit is not operating correctly.

For example, this unit turns off all of

a sudden or all indicator blink.

• A problem has occurred. Turn off this

unit, disconnect USB cable and press

[RESET] (> 6).

Volume is low when this unit is

connected to a TV via Bluetooth

• Adjust the volume on the TV. The

volume of headphone output may be

coupled with the volume of the

Bluetooth

output depending on the

TV. In such case, adjust the volume

of the headphone output on the TV.

Volume is low.

• The maximum level of the volume

during connecting to a PC is set

below the normal maximum level.

• The maximum level of the volume is

set below the normal maximum level,

when the battery level is low.

• The volume may be lowered

automatically when the temperature

of this unit rises above a certain level.

1 Remove all screws (4) in the

image below.

• Use a cross-slot screwdriver.

(commercially available).

2 Remove the cover A.

• A double-sided adhesive strip is

attached to the cover A. Inserting a

flat-head screwdriver or similar in

the groove and prising the cover

loose will allow easier removal.

3 Turn over this unit and remove

the cover B, then grab the cable

C and pull it out.

4 Grab the cable D and pull it out.

5 Take out the battery.

• A double-sided adhesive strip is

attached to the battery.

To remove the battery when disposing of this unit

The following instructions are not

intended for repairing purposes

but for the disposal of this unit.

This unit is not restorable once

disassembled.

When disposing of this unit, take

out the battery installed in this unit

and recycle it.

• Use up the battery before disassembling.

Verwendungszweck

• Je nach Material, Oberfläche und Form

des Objekts (z. B. Tisch), auf dem dieses

Gerät platziert wird, wird möglicherweise

zu wenig Klang ausgegeben. Wählen Sie

ein geeigneteres Objekt aus.

∫ Platzierung

Platzieren Sie dieses Gerät auf einer

möglichst flachen und stabilen Oberfläche.

• Entfernen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme Staub und andere

Partikel von der Gummimatte des Standfußes.

• Die Vibrationen werden an alle Objekte übertragen,

die sich auf der gleichen Oberfläche wie dieses

Gerät befinden. Platzieren Sie keine Gegenstände

auf der Oberfläche, die nicht benötigt werden, und

passen Sie auf, dass weder dieses Gerät noch

andere Gegenstände herunterfallen.

Je nach Material der Kontaktoberfläche haftet

dieses Gerät möglicherweise zu fest an der

Unterlage, und das Entfernen ist schwierig.

Wenn das Entfernen dieses Geräts Schwierigkeiten bereitet,

drehen Sie es in Pfeilrichtung (

), um es anzuheben.

Drehen Sie das Gerät nicht in die Gegenrichtung.

Ansonsten kann sich der Standfuß des Geräts lösen.

Vorsichtsmassnahmen bei

Verwendung in der Nähe von Wasser

Lesen Sie für den Spritzwasserschutz die

Informationen zu IPX4 (oben) durch und

beachten Sie folgende Punkte. Unsachgemäße

Verwendung kann zu einer Fehlfunktion führen.

• Schließen Sie den Anschlussdeckel sicher.

• Öffnen bzw. schließen Sie den Anschlussdeckel

nicht mit nassen Händen oder wenn sich

Wassertropfen am Gerät befinden. Es könnte

sonst zu Fehlfunktionen wie Verrosten des

Anschlusses mit Wassertropfen kommen.

• Schließen Sie kein USB-Kabel oder

Audiokabel (nicht mitgeliefert) an.

• Gießen sie kein Seifenwasser oder

Reinigungsmittel auf das Gerät und

tauchen sie es nicht in Wasser ein.

• Entfernen Sie Haare, Fusseln, Sand, Staub usw.,

die an der Gummidichtung auf dem

Anschlussdeckel haften, bevor Sie ihn schließen.

• Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit mit Wassertropfen in

einem kalten Bereich gelagert wird, können

Fehlfunktionen, wie Verklemmen der Deckel, auftreten.

∫ Betrieb und Aufladen bei Anschluss an eingeschalteten PC

Zum Einschalten des Geräts drücken Sie [Í/I]. Die Bluetooth

-Anzeige (blau) blinkt oder

leuchtet, und das Gerät kann mit dem vom PC zugeführten Strom betrieben werden.

• Die Aufladung dauert länger, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

• Der maximale Lautstärkepegel bei Anschluss an einen PC liegt unter dem normalen

maximalen Lautstärkepegel.

Hinweis

• Es könnte sein, dass Sie die Batterie vor dem Gebrauch des Geräts aufladen müssen.

• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel. (Betrieb nicht garantiert.)

• Wenn die Akkuanzeige lange leuchtet, liegt möglicherweise ein Fehler vor. Entfernen Sie zunächst das

USB-Kabel und laden Sie dieses Gerät dann erneut auf. Leuchtet die Akkuanzeige weiterhin, ist

möglicherweise eine Fehlfunktion aufgetreten. Senden Sie das Gerät in diesem Fall zur Reparatur ein.

•

Wenn dieses Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht verwendet wird, laden Sie den eingebauten Akku

mindestens einmal alle sechs Monate auf, um eine Verschlechterung zu verhindern.

•

Es ist keine Kommunikation möglich, wenn das Gerät mit dem USB-Kabel an einen PC angeschlossen ist.

• Der Ladevorgang kann nicht beginnen, wenn der Akkustand ausreichend hoch ist, auch wenn

der Akku nicht vollständig geladen ist.

• Es wird empfohlen die Batterie bei einer Temperatur zwischen 10 oC und 35 oC aufzuladen.

Die Batterieanzeige (rot) kann blinken und die Aufladung kann nicht möglich sein, wenn man

sich außerhalb des empfohlenen Temperaturbereiches befindet.

• Die Batterie könnte sich nicht aufladen, wenn die Umgebungstemperatur während oder sofort

nach dem Vorgang hoch ist, obwohl sie sich im empfohlenen Temperaturbereich befindet. In

diesem Fall nicht weiter verwenden sondern abkühlen lassen.

• Um Sicherheit zu gewährleisten kann das Gerät bei einem übermäßigen Eingangssignal

automatisch unterbrochen und ausgeschaltet werden.

Während der Aufladung des Geräts, schalten Sie die Bluetooth

-Funktion des Geräts ein und

stellen Sie das System in der Nähe dieses Geräts auf.

1 Drücken Sie [Í/I], um dieses Gerät einzuschalten.

• Die Bluetooth

Anzeige (blau) blinkt langsam.

• Bei erstmaliger Verwendung des Geräts (werkseitige Einstellung):

Sie können Audio von mehreren SC-RB5-Geräten zugleich ausgeben, die über Audiokabel

(nicht mitgeliefert) angeschlossen sind. Schließen Sie das erste SC-RB5-Gerät (AUDIO

OUT-Klemme) an das zweite Gerät (AUX IN-Klemme) und dann das zweite Gerät (AUDIO

OUT-Klemme) an das dritte Gerät an (AUX IN-Klemme).

• Der Soundeffekt wird von jedem Gerät separat gesteuert. Nehmen Sie ggf. die gleichen

Sound-Einstellungen am zusätzlichen Gerät vor.

• Es können bis zu 3 Geräte angeschlossen werden. Der Betrieb kann nicht gewährleistet

werden, wenn mehr als 4 Geräte angeschlossen werden.

Dieses Gerät schaltet sich automatisch aus, wenn kein Audioeingang vorhanden ist und es etwa

10 Minuten lang nicht betrieben wird.

• Diese Funktion funktioniert nicht, wenn der AUX-Eingang verwendet wird, während das

USB-Kabel angeschlossen ist.

• En fonction du matériau, de la surface de

finition, et de la forme de l’objet (bureau,

etc.) sur lequel cet appareil est posé, le son

produit pourrait être affaibli. Choisissez un

objet qui produit un son optimal.

∫ Emplacement

Placez cet appareil dans un endroit aussi plat

et stable que possible.

• Avant de l’utiliser, retirez la poussière et

les autres particules présentes sur le

coussinet en caoutchouc du support.

• Les vibrations sont transmises à tous les

objets présents sur la surface sur laquelle

cet appareil est placé. Évitez de placer des

objets inutiles sur la surface et évitez que cet

appareil et les autres objets puissent tomber.

En fonction du matériau constituant la surface

de contact, cet appareil peut y adhérer trop

fortement et rendre son retrait difficile.

S'il est difficile de retirer cet appareil, faites-le tourner

dans le sens de la flèche (

) pour le soulever.

Ne tournez pas cet appareil dans le sens inverse.

Cela pourrait détacher le pied de cet appareil.

∫ Précautions à prendre lors d'une

utilisation près d'un point d'eau

Concernant les performances de résistance aux

éclaboussures, lisez les informations sur la note IPX4

(ci-dessus) et suivez les points suivants. Une utilisation

incorrecte peut causer un dysfonctionnement.

• Fermez soigneusement le cache prise.

• N'ouvrez pas et ne fermez pas le cache prise avec

les mains mouillées ou lorsque des gouttes d’eau

tombent sur cet appareil. Cela pourrait causer un

dysfonctionnement comme la formation de rouille

∫ Utilisation et chargement en étant raccordé à un ordinateur en marche

Appuyez sur [Í/I] pour mettre en marche cet appareil. L’indicateur Bluetooth

reste fixe et il est possible d’utiliser cet appareil alors qu'il est alimenté par un ordinateur.

• Le chargement peut être plus long si cet appareil est allumé.

• Le niveau maximum du volume durant la connexion à un ordinateur est réglé en dessous du niveau maximum normal.

• Vous pourriez avoir besoin de charger la batterie avant d’utiliser cet appareil.

• N'utilisez aucun autre câble USB à l'exception de celui fourni. (Le fonctionnement n'est pas garanti.)

• Si l'indicateur de la batterie reste allumé pendant un long moment, il peut y avoir une erreur. Débranchez

d'abord le câble USB, puis chargez de nouveau cet appareil. Si l'indicateur de la batterie ne s'efface toujours

pas, il s'agit peut-être d'un mauvais fonctionnement. Dans ce cas, envoyez cet appareil en réparation.

• Quand cet appareil n'est pas utilisé pendant une longue période de temps, rechargez la

batterie incorporée au moins une fois tous les six mois pour éviter qu'elle ne se détériore.

• La communication est impossible si cet appareil est raccordé à un ordinateur à l'aide du câble USB.

• Le chargement pourrait ne pas démarrer si le niveau de la batterie est encore suffisamment

élevé même si la batterie n'est pas totalement pleine.

• Il est recommandé de charger la batterie à une température qui se situe entre 10 oC et 35 oC.

L’indicateur Batterie (rouge) peut clignoter et le chargement peut être impossible si elle est en

dehors de la plage de température recommandée.

• La batterie peut ne pas se charger si la température qui entoure la batterie est élevée durant

l’opération ou juste après l’opération même si elle se situe dans la plage de température

recommandée. Dans ce cas, cessez toute utilisation et laissez-la refroidir.

• Pour des raisons de sécurité, dans le cas d'un signal d'entrée trop fort, le système peut se

couper automatiquement ainsi que l'alimentation.

1 Appuyez sur [Í/I] pour allumer cet appareil.

• Si pendant la lecture le son est déformé, désactivez le “Mode Boost”.

• En vue d'économiser la consommation d'énergie, mettez le “Mode Boost” sur “arrêt”.

• L’endroit où est placé cet appareil peut bouger à cause des vibrations.

La barre d'illumination sonore s'éclaire en se synchronisant avec la sonie de votre contenu audio.

• La barre d'illumination sonore ne produit pas beaucoup de lumière lorsque les niveaux de

volume sont bas.

Appuyez sur [BOOST] pendant au moins 2 secondes pour activer/désactiver l’effet.

• Le réglage par défaut est actif.

Vous pouvez écouter le son via la prise AUX IN (> 6) si cet appareil est raccordé à un dispositif

à l’aide d’un câble audio (non fourni).

Vous pouvez reproduire simultanément le son de plusieurs appareils SC-RB5 raccordés par des

câbles audio (non fournis). Raccordez le premier appareil SC-RB5 (prise AUDIO OUT) au

deuxième appareil (prise AUX IN), puis raccordez le deuxième appareil (prise AUDIO OUT) au

troisième appareil (prise AUX IN).

• L'effet sonore sera contrôlé séparément par chaque appareil. Effectuer le même réglage du

son sur l'appareil supplémentaire si nécessaire.

• Il est possible de raccorder jusqu’à 3 appareils. Le fonctionnement n’est pas garanti si

4 appareils ou plus sont raccordés.

Cet appareil s'éteint automatiquement s'il n'y a aucune entrée sonore ou si vous ne l'utilisez pas

pendant environ 10 minutes.

Note

• Cette fonction ne s'activera pas si l'entrée AUX est utilisée tandis que l'appareil est raccordé à

l'aide du câble USB.

• Cette fonction peut s’activer même lorsque la musique est en cours de lecture si le volume du

dispositif connecté est faible.

Effectuez ce qui suit si vous désirez supprimer l'information d’un dispositif appairé, etc.

1 Appuyez sur [Í/I] pour mettre l’appareil sous tension.

2 Touchez [ ] et [VOL +] jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur [VOL –] s'éteigne.

Les informations de pairage du dispositif seront supprimées par la réinitialisation, il sera donc

Le son provenant du dispositif est coupé.

• Cet appareil est une enceinte à

vibration. En fonction de l’objet avec

lequel il est en contact, la qualité et le

volume du son change. Si le son n’est

pas reproduit comme désiré, changez

l’objet sur lequel l’appareil est posé.

• Le dispositif se trouve au-delà des

10 m. de portée de communication.

Rapprochez le dispositif de cet

appareil. (Reportez-vous à la section

“À propos des Bluetooth

” > 4)

• Retirez tous les obstacles se trouvant

entre cet appareil et le dispositif.

• Désactivez tous les dispositifs du

réseau local (LAN) sans fil.

• Vérifiez le volume et les paramètres

du dispositif raccordé.

• En fonction du dispositif raccordé, le son

peut être entrecoupé ou des parasites

peuvent être générés. Si cela arrive,

baissez le volume du dispositif raccordé.

• Si le son est entrecoupé ou s'il n'est

pas reproduit correctement par

2 Retirez le cache A.

• Une bande adhésive double-face

est fixée au cache A. Insérer un

tournevis à tête plate ou similaire

dans la rainure pour faire levier

3 Retournez cet appareil et retirez

câbles C et détachez-les.

• A seconda del materiale, della finitura

superficiale, e della forma dell’oggetto

(scrivania, ecc.) sul quale è posizionata

l’unità, potrebbe essere prodotto un

volume sonoro limitato. Scegliere un

oggetto che produca bene il suono.

∫ Collocazione

Posizionare questa unità in un punto quanto

più liscio e stabile possibile.

• Prima dell’uso, rimuovere polvere ed altre

particelle sull’imbottitura in gomma del supporto.

• Le vibrazioni vengono trasmesse a tutti

gli oggetti sulla superficie dove è

posizionata l’unità. Evitare di posizionare

oggetti non necessari sulla superficie ed

evitare che l’unità ed altri oggetti cadano.

A seconda del materiale della superficie di

contatto, l’unità potrebbe aderire alla superficie in

modo eccessivo, rendendone difficile la rimozione.

Se risulta difficile rimuovere l’unità, ruotarla in

direzione della freccia (A) per sollevarla.

Non ruotare l’unità in direzione opposta. Questo

può provocare il distacco del supporto dell’unità.

Precauzioni per un utilizzo vicino all’acqua

Riguardo all’impermeabilità, leggere le

informazioni su IPX4 (sopra) e osservare i

seguenti punti. Un utilizzo improprio può

causare malfunzionamenti.

• Chiudere saldamente il coperchio del terminale.

• Non aprire o chiudere il coperchio del

terminale con le mani bagnate o quando ci

sono delle gocce d'acqua sull’unità. Così

facendo si possono causare

malfunzionamenti come l’arrugginimento del

terminale a causa delle gocce d’acqua.

• Non collegare e non utilizzare un cavo

USB o un cavo audio (non in dotazione).

• Non versare acqua insaponata o

detergenti, né immergere in acqua.

• Rimuovere qualsiasi capello, pelo, granello di

sabbia o polvere, ecc. che si può attaccare

alla guarnizione di gomma sul coperchio del

terminale prima di chiuderlo.

• Se si lascia il dispositivo in un posto freddo con

delle gocce d’acqua si possono provocare dei

malfunzionamenti, ad esempio la copertura può

restare incastrata.

• Quando dell’acqua entra dentro questa unità,

interromperne l’utilizzo e contattare il

rivenditore o il centro assistenza più vicino.

Un malfunzionamento dovuto all’esposizione

all’acqua per una scorretta gestione da parte

del cliente non sarà coperto da garanzia. Gli

accessori in dotazione non sono resistenti

all’acqua.

È possibile emettere l’audio contemporaneamente da più unità SC-RB5 collegate con cavi audio

(non in dotazione). Collegare la prima unità SC-RB5 (terminale AUDIO OUT) alla seconda unità

(terminale AUX IN), e quindi collegare la seconda unità (terminale AUDIO OUT) alla terza unità

(terminale AUX IN).

• Gli effetti sonori verranno controllati separatamente da ciascuna unità. Se necessario

effettuare le stesse impostazioni sull’unità aggiuntiva.

• È possibile collegare sino a 3 unità. Il funzionamento non può essere garantito se sono collegate 4 o più unità.

Questa unità si spegne automaticamente in mancanza di input audio e se l’unità non risulta

utilizzata per circa 10 minuti.

Nota

• Questa funzione non sarà attiva quando si utilizza l’input AUX mentre si è connessi con un cavo USB.

• Questa funzione potrebbe attivarsi anche mentre si riproduce della musica se il volume del

• Questa unità è un diffusore a vibrazioni. A

seconda dell'oggetto a contatto con

questa unità, la qualità audio ed il volume

può variare. Se l'audio non viene emesso

come desiderato, posizionare l'unità su

un altro oggetto.

• Il dispositivo è fuori dalla portata di

comunicazione di 10 m. Portare il

dispositivo più vicino all’unità.

• Rimuovere eventuali ostacoli tra

l'unità e il dispositivo.

• Spegnere qualsiasi dispositivo

Toestel

Om het risico op brand, elektrische

schokken of productschade te verkleinen

• Laat geen water of andere vloeistoffen in

het toestel druppelen of spetteren.

• Stel het accessoire niet bloot aan regen,

vocht, druppels of spetters.

• Plaats geen met vloeistof gevulde

objecten, zoals vazen, op het

accessoire.

• Gebruik alleen het aanbevolen

accessoire.

• Verwijder het deksel niet, tenzij dit voor

het afdanken gedemonteerd moet

worden.

• Repareer dit toestel niet zelf. Laat

onderhoud over aan gekwalificeerd

USB-kabel

De kabel vormt het mechanisme om het toestel

af te sluiten. Installeer dit toestel zo dat de

kabel onmiddellijk uit de USB-aansluiting van

de PC getrokken kan worden.

Toestel

• De markering van de productidentificatie

bevindt zich op de onderkant van het toestel.

• Niet mee gooien.

• Stoot nergens met dit toestel tegenaan.

Oefen geen sterke druk op dit toestel uit.

waardoor schade of een slechte werking

interferentie van radio’s ontvangen die

Dit toestel maakt gebruik van de 2,4 GHz

frequentieband.

Certificatie van dit apparaat

• Dit toestel is in overeenstemming met de

frequentiebeperkingen en heeft een certificaat

gebaseerd is, toestemming voor een draadloze

werking is dus niet noodzakelijk.

• De volgende handelingen zijn in

sommige landen wettelijk strafbaar:

– Demonteren of wijzigen van het toestel.

Gebruiksbeperkingen

• De draadloze uitzending en/of het gebruik

met alle toestellen die met Bluetooth

Gebruiksbereik

Gebruik dit toestel op een

maximumbereik van 10 m.

Het bereik kan afnemen, afhankelijk van

de omgeving, obstakels of interferentie.

Interferentie afkomstig van andere

apparatuur

• Het kan zijn dat dit toestel niet naar behoren werkt

en dat problemen ontstaan, zoals ruis en

verspringen van het geluid, wegens interferentie

van de radiogolven, als dit toestel te dicht bij andere

Bluetooth

-apparaten staat of bij apparaten die ook

gebruik maken van de 2,4 GHz-band.

• Het kan zijn dat dit toestel niet naar behoren

werkt als er te sterke radiogolven van een

zendstation, enz., in de nabijheid zijn.

Bedoeld gebruik

• Dit toestel is alleen bedoeld voor

normaal, algemeen gebruik.

• Gebruik dit systeem niet in de nabijheid van

apparatuur of in een omgeving die gevoelig is voor

de interferentie van radiofrequentie (bijvoorbeeld

op vliegvelden, in ziekenhuizen, laboratoria, enz.).

Schakel de stroom van dit toestel uit en veeg

het af met een droge, zachte doek. Sluit de

USB-kabel af als een USB-kabel gebruikt wordt.

• Als het toestel erg vuil is, veeg het vuil er dan af met

een in water gedompeld en goed uitgewrongen doekje

en veeg het daarna af met een droog, zacht doekje.

• Oplosmiddelen, zoals benzine, verdunner,

alcohol, olie, reinigingsmiddelen, enz. kunnen tot

gevolg hebben dat de ombouw verslechtert of de

deklaag losraakt, gebruik deze middelen dus niet.

• Voordat u chemisch behandelde doekjes gebruikt, dient

u de instructies die daarbij horen zorgvuldig te lezen.

Controleer de bijgeleverde accessoires

voordat u dit apparaat in gebruik neemt.

1 USB-kabel (RWK201)

• De USB-kabel is speciaal voor dit toestel

bestemd, gebruik deze kabel dus niet voor

andere apparatuur. Gebruik bovendien

geen USB-kabels voor dit toestel die voor

andere apparaten bestemd zijn.

• Afhankelijk van het materiaal, de

oppervlakte-afwerking en de vorm van het

object (bureaublad, enz.), waarop dit

toestel geplaatst wordt, kan mogelijk niet

veel geluid geproduceerd worden. Kies

een object dat het geluid goed produceert.

∫ Opstelling

Plaats dit toestel op een zo plat en stabiel

mogelijke plek.

• Verwijder vóór het gebruik stof en andere

vuildeeltjes van de rubber laag van de standaard.

• Er worden trillingen overgebracht naar alle

voorwerpen die op het oppervlak staan

waarop dit toestel geplaatst wordt. Vermijd

het om onnodige voorwerpen op het

oppervlak te plaatsen en voorkom dat het

toestel en andere voorwerpen kunnen vallen.

Afhankelijk van het materiaal van het contactoppervlak.

kan dit toestel stevig aan het oppervlak blijven hechten

en kan verwijderen moeilijk zijn.

Als het moeilijk is dit toestel te verwijderen, draai het

dan in de richting van de pijl (

) om het op te tillen.

Draai dit toestel niet in tegengestelde richting. Dit kan tot

gevolg hebben dat de voetplaat van dit toestel los komt.

∫ Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij het

gebruik rondom het water

Lees voor de spetterbestendige werking de

informatie over IPX4 (boven) en neem de

volgende punten in acht. Een oneigenlijk gebruik

kan een slechte werking tot gevolg hebben.

• Sluit zorgvuldig de afdekking van de aansluiting.

• Open of sluit de afdekking van de aansluiting

niet met natte handen of als waterdruppels

op het toestel zitten. Hierdoor kan een

slechte werking ontstaan, zoals het roesten

van de aansluiting, als gevolg van de

aanwezigheid van de druppels.

• Sluit geen USB-kabel of audiokabel (niet

bijgeleverd) aan en gebruik deze kabels niet.

•

Giet geen zeepsop of reinigingsmiddel op

het toestel en dompel het niet in water.

• Verwijder haren, pluisjes, zand, stof, enz., dat op

de rubber pakking op de afdekking van de

aansluiting kan zitten, voordat u de afdekking sluit.

• Wanneer u het apparaat met waterdruppels

erop in de kou laat, kan dit een slechte

werking tot gevolg hebben omdat de

afdekkingen dicht kunnen blijven zitten.

• Als water in dit toestel terecht komt, onderbreek dan

het gebruik van dit toestel en neem contact op met

de dichtstbijzijnde verkoper of service-centrum. Een

slechte werking door blootstelling aan water als

gevolg van verkeerd gebruik door de klant zal niet

door de garantie worden gedekt. De bijgeleverde

accessoires zijn niet spetterbestendig.

Dit toestel heeft een interne batterij. Laad de batterij op voordat dit toestel voor het eerst gebruikt wordt.

• Als het batterijniveau laag is wanneer dit toestel ingeschakeld is, zal het (rode) controlelampje

van de batterij (> 6) langzaam knipperen.

∫ Opladen van de batterij

Sluit dit toestel aan terwijl de

stroom uitgeschakeld is en sluit

de PC aan terwijl de stroom

• Als opladen nodig is, brandt het (rode)

Druk op [Í/I] om dit toestel in te schakelen. Het Bluetooth

-controlelampje (blauw) knippert of

brandt en het is mogelijk dit toestel te bedienen met de door een PC geleverde stroom.

• Het opladen duurt langer als dit toestel ingeschakeld is.

• Het maximum niveau van het volume tijdens het verbinden met een PC is onder het normale

maximum niveau ingesteld.

N.B.

• Het kan zijn dat u de batterij moet opladen alvorens dit toestel te gebruiken.

• Gebruik geen andere dan de bijgeleverde USB-kabel (de werking wordt anders niet gegarandeerd).

• Als het controlelampje van de batterij lange tijd brandt kan er een fout zijn. Sluit eerst de

USB-kabel af en laadt dit toestel vervolgens opnieuw. Als het controlelampje van de batterij

niet uitgaat, kan er mogelijk sprake zijn van een slechte werking. Stuur dit toestel in dat geval

op voor reparatie.

• Wanneer dit toestel lange tijd niet gebruikt wordt, laad de interne batterij dan minstens één

keer in de zes maanden op om te voorkomen dat deze verslechtert.

• Er is geen communicatie mogelijk als dit toestel met een USB-kabel op een PC aangesloten is.

• Het opladen zal misschien niet van start gaan als het batterijniveau voldoende hoog is, ook al

is de batterij niet geheel opgeladen.

• Er wordt aanbevolen de batterij op te laden bij een temperatuur tussen 10 oC en 35 oC. Het

controlelampje van de batterij (rood) kan knipperen en het kan zijn dat het opladen niet

mogelijk is als de temperatuur niet binnen dit aanbevolen bereikt ligt.

• Het kan zijn dat de batterij niet opgeladen wordt als de temperatuur rondom de batterij hoog is

tijdens de werking, of onmiddellijk na de werking, zelfs als deze binnen het aanbevolen bereik

ligt. Onderbreek in dat geval het gebruik van het toestel en laat het afkoelen.

• Ter verzekering van de veiligheid kan het systeem in geval van een te groot ingangssignaal

automatisch onderbroken worden, met uitschakeling van de stroom.

De verlichtingsbalk van het geluid brandt synchroon aan het volume van de audio-inhoud.

• De verlichtingsbalk van het geluid produceert bij lage volumeniveaus niet veel licht.

• De fabrieksinstelling is aan.

U kunt naar de audio luisteren via de AUX IN-aansluiting (> 6) als dit toestel met een ander

apparaat verbonden is via een audiokabel (niet bijgeleverd).

N.B.

• Afhankelijk van het nummer of het volume varieert het knipperpatroon van de verlichtingsbalk.

• Als de AUX-ingang gebruikt wordt, heeft deze de prioriteit ten opzichte van de

Bluetooth

-kenmerken.

• De instelling van Bluetooth

wordt zelfs niet veranderd als de (niet bijgeleverde) audiokabel in

de AUX IN-aansluiting gestoken wordt.

• Als de AUX-ingang gebruikt wordt kan het volume lager blijken te zijn, afhankelijk van de

apparatuur die aangesloten is. Controleer in dat geval of de volume-limiet op de apparatuur

veranderd kan worden. Raadpleeg voor details de gebruiksaanwijzing van de apparatuur.

• Als een audiokabel tijdens het afspelen van audio met een Bluetooth

-verbinding naar binnen

gestoken wordt, kan ruis ontstaan. Stop in dit geval het afspelen op het apparaat dat via

Bluetooth

aangesloten is.

U kunt gelijktijdig geluid uit meerdere SC-RB5-eenheden laten klinken die met (niet bijgeleverde)

audiokabels verbonden zijn. Verbind de eerste SC-RB5-eenheid (AUDIO OUT-aansluiting) met

de tweede eenheid (AUX IN-aansluiting) en verbind vervolgens de tweede eenheid (AUDIO

OUT-aansluiting) met de derde eenheid (AUX IN-aansluiting).

• Het geluidseffect zal door ieder toestel apart geregeld worden. Maak dezelfde

geluidsinstellingen op het bijkomende toestel, indien noodzakelijk.

• Er kunnen tot 3 eenheden verbonden worden. De werking kan niet gegarandeerd worden als

4 of meer eenheden verbonden zijn.

Dit toestel wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld als er geen audio binnenkomt en gedurende

ongeveer 10 minuten geen handelingen verricht worden.

N.B.

• Deze functie zal niet werkzaam zijn als de AUX-ingang gebruikt wordt terwijl er een

aansluiting met een USB-kabel is.

• Deze functie kan zelfs werkzaam zijn als muziek afgespeeld wordt en het volume van het

aangesloten apparaat laag is.

• Het kan zijn dat deze functie niet werkt, afhankelijk van het aangesloten apparaat.

Handel als volgt als u informatie over het pairen van een apparaat, enz.,wilt wissen.

1Druk op [Í/I] om de stroom in te schakelen.

2 Houd [ ] en [VOL +] aangeraakt tot het [VOL –]-controlelampje uitgaat.

De informatie over het pairing-apparaat zal door het resetten gewist zijn. Het is dus nodig om het

pairen opnieuw uit te voeren. Wis de informatie over het pairen van dit toestel uit het

Bluetooth

-apparaat en voer het pairen opnieuw uit (zie “Bluetooth

pairen”

8).

Voordat u assistentie aanvraagt, voert u de

volgende controles uit. Als u over bepaalde

controles twijfels heeft, of als de hierna aangeduide

oplossingen het probleem niet verhelpen, raadpleeg

dan uw verkoper voor instructies.

Het geluid afkomstig van het

apparaat wordt onderbroken.

• Dit toestel is een vibratieluidspreker.

Afhankelijk van het object dat in

aanraking met dit toestel staat,

variëren de geluidskwaliteit en het

volume. Als het geluid niet naar wens

uitgezonden wordt, verander dan het

object waarop dit toestel geplaatst is.

• Het apparaat bevindt zich buiten het

communicatiebereik van 10 m. Plaats

het apparaat dichterbij dit toestel. (Zie

“Over Bluetooth

” > 4)

• Verwijder alle obstakels tussen dit

toestel en het apparaat.

• Schakel ieder draadloos LAN-apparaat uit.

• Controleer het volume en de instellingen

van het verbonden apparaat.

• Afhankelijk van het verbonden

apparaat kan het geluid mogelijk

afgesneden worden of ruis

geproduceerd worden. Als dit

gebeurt, zet het volume van het

verbonden apparaat dan lager.

• Als het geluid verspringt of niet op

andere manieren correct uitgevoerd

wordt, voer dan “Terugkeren naar de

status van de fabrieksinstelling”

(> 10) uit en voer opnieuw

“Bluetooth

pairen” (> 8) uit.

Het apparaat kan niet aangesloten

worden.

• Raadpleeg de handleiding van het

apparaat en voer het pairen opnieuw uit.

”

• Controleer of dit toestel niet op een

ander apparaat aangesloten is.

Het apparaat is aangesloten maar er

komt geen audio uit dit toestel.

• Voor sommige ingebouwde

Bluetooth

-apparaten dient u de

audio-uitgang met de hand op

“SC-RB5” te zetten. Lees voor details

de handleiding van het apparaat.

Dit toestel werkt niet correct. Dit

toestel wordt bijvoorbeeld plotseling

uitgeschakeld of alle

controlelampjes knipperen.

• Er heeft zich een probleem

voorgedaan. Schakel dit toestel uit,

sluit de USB-kabel af en druk op

[RESET] (> 6).

Het volume is laag als dit toestel via

Bluetooth

op een TV aangesloten

is.

• Regel het volume op de TV. Het

volume dat uit de koptelefoon komt

kan gekoppeld zijn aan het volume

van de Bluetooth

-uitgave,

afhankelijk van de TV. Regel in dat

geval op de TV het volume dat uit de

koptelefoon komt.

Het volume is laag.

• Het maximum niveau van het volume

tijdens het verbinden met een PC is

onder het normale maximum niveau

ingesteld.

• Het maximum niveau van het volume

wordt onder het gewone maximum

niveau gezet als het batterijniveau

laag is.

• Het volume kan automatisch lager

worden wanneer de temperatuur van

dit toestel boven een bepaald niveau

stijgt.

2 Verwijder afdekking A.

• Er is een tweezijdige kleefstrip op deksel

aangebracht. Steek een schroevendraaier met

platte kop of iets dergelijks in de groef en licht het

deksel op om deze gemakkelijker te verwijderen.

3 Draai dit toestel om en verwijder

deksel

, neem vervolgens kabel

vast en trek deze naar buiten.

4 Neem kabel D vast en trek deze

naar buiten.

5 Neem de batterij uit.

• Er is een dubbelzijdige kleefstrip op de

batterij aangebracht.

Verwijderen van de batterij om dit toestel af te danken

De volgende instructies zijn niet bedoeld voor

reparatiedoeleinden maar voor het afdanken van

dit toestel. Dit toestel kan niet opnieuw in elkaar

gezet worden als het eenmaal gedemonteerd is.

Wanneer u dit toestel afdankt, verwijder dan de

batterij die in dit toestel geïnstalleerd is en

recycle deze.

• En función del material, el acabado superficial y

la forma del objeto (mesa, etc.) sobre el que

coloque la unidad, puede que no transmita una

gran cantidad de sonido. Elija un objeto que

transmita bien el sonido.

∫ Ubicación

Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie lo más

plana y estable posible.

• Antes de usarlo, elimine el polvo y otras

partículas de la almohadilla de goma del soporte.

• Las vibraciones se transmitirán a todos los

objetos situados sobre la superficie en la que se

coloque el aparato. Evite dejar objetos

innecesarios sobre la superficie y tenga cuidado

para evitar que el aparato y otros objetos se

caigan.

En función del material de la superficie de

contacto, puede que el aparato se adhiera a

ella con demasiada firmeza, dificultando su

retirada.

Si le resulta difícil retirar el aparato, gírelo en

el sentido de la flecha (A) para levantarlo.

No gire el aparato en el sentido contrario. Esto

podría hacer que su soporte se soltase.

Precauciones para el uso cerca del agua

Para conocer el rendimiento a prueba de

chorros de agua, lea la información en IPX4

(arriba) y tenga en cuenta los siguientes

puntos. El uso incorrecto puede ocasionar un

funcionamiento defectuoso.

• Cierre bien la cubierta del terminal.

• No cierre ni abra la cubierta del terminal

con las manos mojadas ni cuando este

aparato tiene gotas de agua. El hacerlo

podría ocasionar un funcionamiento

defectuoso; por ejemplo, el terminal

podría oxidarse por las gotas de agua.

• No conecte ni use un cable USB ni un

cable de audio (no suministrado).

• No vierta agua ni detergente, ni lo

sumerja en agua.

• Quite el pelo, la pelusa, la arena, el polvo, etc.,

que pueda haberse pegado al cierre de goma

de la cubierta del terminal antes de cerrarlo.

• Si deja el terminal con gotas de agua en un

lugar frío puede causar el funcionamiento

defectuoso; por ejemplo, las cubiertas

podrían pegarse una con otra.

• Cuando ingresa agua en este aparato, deje de

usarlo y Póngase en contacto con el vendedor

o centro de servicio más cercanos. El

funcionamiento defectuoso a causa de un

manejo incorrecto por parte del cliente no

estará cubierto por la garantía. Los accesorios

provistos no son a prueba de salpicaduras.

Nota

• No use ningún cable USB que no sea el suministrado. (No se garantiza el funcionamiento).

Puede emitir sonido desde varias unidades SC-RB5 conectadas mediante cables de audio (no

suministrados) de forma simultánea. Conecte la primera unidad SC-RB5 (terminal AUDIO OUT)

a la segunda unidad (terminal AUX IN) y después conecte la segunda unidad (terminal AUDIO

OUT) a la tercera unidad (terminal AUX IN).

• El efecto de sonido se puede controlar por separado a través de cada unidad. Realice los

mismos ajustes de sonido en la unidad adicional si es necesario.

• Se pueden conectar hasta 3 unidades. El funcionamiento del sistema no se puede garantizar

con 4 o más unidades conectadas.

Este aparato se apaga automáticamente si no hay entrada de audio y no la usa durante

aproximadamente 10 minutos.

Nota

• Esta función no estará disponible cuando se utilice la entrada AUX mientras esté conectado

calidad y el volumen del sonido pueden

variar. Si la emisión del sonido no es la

deseada, cambie el objeto sobre el que

esté colocado el aparato.

• El dispositivo está fuera del rango de

comunicación de 10 m. Mueva el

dispositivo más cerca de la unidad.
