Intended use
The car phone holder is a communications device,
and is used to hold and charge cell phones (and other
5V devices with a USB port) in a car. The car/USB
adapter is only suitable for vehicles with a cigarette
lighter whose negative pole is connected to a ground.
The Smart Fast Charge technology
reduces charging time significantly for
compatible devices. It automatically
sends a signal to compatible connected devices that
they are using the maximum available charging current.

■ Ensure that no moisture or liquids penetrate the
device.
■ Never subject the device to extreme heat or high
humidities, especially when storing it in a vehicle.
The vehicle standing for longer periods of time or
warm, sunny weather can result in high tempera-
tures in the interior and glove department. Remove
electrical and electronic devices from the vehicle.
■ When mounting the holder, make sure it will not
interfere with steering, braking or using any other
vehicle systems (e.g. airbags), or block your view
while driving.
■ Do not place the car holder in the airbag deploy-
ment area or near it, as it could be flung through
the vehicle interior if the airbag is triggered and
cause serious injuries.
■ Make sure the holder is not mounted at a location
that could come into direct contact with you during
an accident or collision.
■ Also follow the operating instructions that came
with your cell phone/end device.
■ If you notice an odor or smoke coming from the
device, disconnect it from the cigarette lighter
immediately.

■ Do not breathe in the smoke, as it is hazardous to
your health.
■ Regularly check whether the suction cup is correctly
attached to the windshield at the bottom edge of
the holder. This is especially important in areas
where outside temperatures often fluctuate signifi-
cantly.
■ Follow all local laws. Whenever driving, your
hands must be free to operate the vehicle.
Road safety must always take priority while driving.
Only use this holder if it does not present a risk in
any driving situation.

Check package contents
Before first use, check whether the package contents
are complete and look for any visible damage (see
fig. A and B). If the delivery is incomplete or damage
has occurred as a result of defective packaging or
during transport, contact the customer service hotline
(see 3 year limited warranty section). Remove all
parts from the packaging and remove all packaging
material from the device.

Handling and operation
Fitting the car cradle
♦ Unscrew the screw ring 4 counterclockwise from
the car holder.
♦ Place the screw ring 4 over the ball joint 3 and
press the ball joint 3 into the ball joint socket 5
(see fig. C).
♦ Screw the screw ring 4 clockwise onto the ball
joint socket 5 until tight.

Mounting the suction cup
Make sure that the surface you want to attach the
suction cup to is clean, dry and free of grease. Make
sure that the suction cup locking arm 2 is released.
♦ Push the suction cup 1 against the windshield
and press the suction cup locking arm 2 upward.
This generates a vacuum, and the suction cup 1 is
attached to the windshield.
♦ You can adjust the horizontal and vertical direction
to your needs using the 360° ball joint 3.
♦ To remove the suction cup 1 from your windshield,
move the suction cup locking arm 2 downward
and pull on the tab on the edge of the suction cup.
Insert cell phone into car holder
♦ Back Press the PRESS button 7 and the side
brackets 6 on the car holder automati-
cally move outward.
♦ Place the cell phone on the car holder bottom
bracket 8.
♦ Push the car holder side brackets 6 inward until
your cell phone is secured.
♦ Press the PRESS button 7 to remove the cell
phone from the car holder.

Charging the cell phone
♦ Connect the car/USB adapter 9 to your vehicle’s
on-board power supply (cigarette lighter). The
operating LED w lights up white to indicate that
the car USB adapter 9 is ready for use. Depend-
ing on the vehicle type, the ignition may have to be
turned on first.
♦ Connect the charging cable r to the USB port
type A e on the car/USB adapter 9 and the
cell phone. To use the USB Type-C connector z,
plug it into the micro-USB connector t. Charging
begins immediately and will be indicated on the
cell phone display.
To use the USB port type C q you will need an
appropriate cable, which is not supplied. Contact
your local electronics dealer.
♦ Once charging is complete, remove the car/USB
adapter 9 from the cigarette lighter by pulling on
the ring tab 0.

► For vehicles in which the cigarette lighter works
when the ignition is off, the device must be discon-
nected from the cigarette lighter after use.
Otherwise, the vehicle battery will run down over a
longer period of time, as the device also consumes
power in its non-operating state.
Troubleshooting
A connected device won’t charge
(The white operating LED w does not light up)
♦ No connection to cigarette lighter. Check the
connection.
♦ Depending on the vehicle type, the ignition may
have to be turned on first.
The white operating LED w turns off after a
device is connected
♦ The car/USB adapter 9 is overloaded and no
longer charges the connected devices. The internal
fuse tripped. Disconnect all connected devices
from the car/USB adapter 9. The white operating
LED w will light up right away and the car/USB
adapter 9 is operational again.

If you cannot solve the problem using the steps
above, please contact the customer service hotline
(see 3 year limited warranty section).
Cleaning and maintenance
► Disconnect the device from the cigarette lighter
before cleaning it and when it is out of use.
■ If necessary, clean the device with a damp cloth.
Regularly check the condition of the device.
Do not use the device if you notice any damage.
Store when not in use
► The temperatures inside the car can reach extreme
values in summer and winter. To prevent damage,
do not store the device in the vehicle.
■ Store the device in a dry, dust-free place, away
from direct sunlight.

Disposal
Disposal of the device
Electrical devices may not be thrown away as part of
normal household trash. If you can no longer use your
electrical device, dispose of it in accordance with
the legal provisions applicable in your state. This will
ensure that old electrical devices are re cycled and
environmental pollution is kept to a minimum.

Disposal of packaging
The packaging materials have been selected
for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal and are therefore recyclable.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

materials and separate them as needed. The packag-

3 year limited warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
▯ Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
▯ Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or
failure to follow the safety and maintenance instruc-
tions provided in the user manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
▯ Normal wear and tear of the product, including
fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);
▯ Improper use or transport;
▯ Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
▯ Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire,
water, etc.);
▯ Tampering with the product (such as removing cover,
unscrewing screws etc.)
Consequential and incidental damages are also not
covered under this warranty. However, some states do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you.

Revisión del contenido del paquete
Antes del primer uso, revise que el contenido del
paquete esté completo y busque si existen daños
visibles (consulte la fig. A y B). Si la entrega está
incompleta o si ha ocurrido daño debido al empaque
defectuoso o durante el transporte, póngase en
contacto con la línea directa de servicio (vea la
sección Garantía limitada de 3 años). Retire todas
las partes del paquete y saque todos los materiales
de empaque del dispositivo.

Manejo y operación
Montaje del soporte para coche
♦ Desatornille el anillo roscado 4 en sentido antiho-
rario del soporte para automóvil.
♦ Coloque el anillo roscado 4 sobre la articulación
de rótula 3 y presione la articulación de rótula 3
contra el alojamiento para la articulación de
rótula 5 de forma que quede introducida en él
(consulte la fig. C).

♦ Enrosque el anillo roscado 4 en sentido horario
en el alojamiento para la articulación de rótula 5
de forma que quede bien fijo.
Instalación de la ventosa
Asegúrese de que la superficie donde desea adherir
la ventosa esté limpia, sin grasa y seca. Asegúrese de
que el brazo de fijación de la ventosa 2 esté suelto.
♦ Empuje la ventosa 1 contra el parabrisas y pre-
sione el brazo de fijación de la ventosa 2 hacia
arriba. Esto genera un vacío, y la ventosa 1 se fija
al parabrisas.
♦ Puede ajustar la dirección horizontal y vertical
según sus necesidades con la articulación de
bola 3 de 360°.
♦ Para desprender la ventosa 1 del parabrisas,
mueva el brazo de fijación de la ventosa 2 hacia
abajo y jale la pestaña que está en el borde de la
ventosa.
Inserción del teléfono celular en el soporte
para automóvil
♦ Back Presione el botón PRESS 7 y las
abrazaderas laterales 6 del soporte
para automóvil se mueven automática-
mente hacia afuera.

♦ Coloque el teléfono celular en la abrazadera
inferior 8 del soporte para automóvil.
♦ Empuje las abrazaderas laterales 6 del soporte
para automóvil hacia adentro hasta que el teléfono
celular quede asegurado.
♦ Presione el botón PRESS 7 para retirar el teléfono
del soporte.
Carga del teléfono celular
♦ Conecte el adaptador para automóvil/USB 9
en la alimentación de energía de su vehículo
(encendedor de cigarrillos). Tras esto, el led de
funcionamientow se ilumina en blanco, lo que
señaliza que el adapta dor para automóvil/USB 9
está listo para el funcionamiento. Según el tipo
de vehículo, es probable que el encendido deba
activarse primero.
♦ Conecte el cable de carga r al puerto USB tipo
A e del adaptador para automóvil/USB 9 y del
teléfono celular. Para usar el conector USB tipo C z,
conéctelo en el conector micro-USB t. La carga
comienza inmediatamente y se indicará en la
pantalla del teléfono celular.

Para usar el puerto USB tipo C q, se requiere el cable
correspondiente que no se incluye en el volumen de
suministro. Acuda a un establecimiento especializado.
♦ Una vez que se complete la carga, quite el adap-
tador para automóvil/USB 9 del encendedor de
cigarrillos jalando la pestaña de anillo 0.
► En los vehículos en los que el encendedor de ciga-
rrillos trabaja cuando el interruptor del automóvil
está apagado, el dispositivo debe desconectarse
del encendedor después de usarlo. De lo contrario,
la batería del vehículo se descargará si el dispositi-
vo se deja conectado por un periodo prolongado,
ya que el dispositivo también consume energía en
estado no operativo.

Solución de problemas
El dispositivo conectado no carga (El led blanco
de funcionamiento w no se ilumina)
♦ No hay conexión con el encendedor de cigarrillos.
Revise la conexión.
♦ Según el tipo de vehículo, es probable que el
encendido deba activarse primero.
El led blanco de funcionamiento w se apaga
una vez que se conecta el dispositivo
♦ El adaptador para automóvil/USB 9 está sobre-
cargado y ya no carga los dispositivos conectados.
El fusible interno se desconectó. Desconecte todos
los dispositivos del adaptador para auto móvil/
USB 9. El led blanco de funcionamiento w
se iluminará inmediatamente y el adaptador
auto móvil/USB 9 volverá a estar listo para el
funcionamiento.
Si no puede resolver el problema con los pasos
anteriores, llame al teléfono de servicio al cliente
(vea la sección Garantía limitada de 3 años).

Limpieza y mantenimiento
► Desconecte el dispositivo del encendedor de ciga-
rrillos antes de limpiarlo y cuando no lo
esté usando.
■ Si es necesario, limpie el dispositivo con una tela
húmeda. Revise regularmente la condición del dispo-
sitivo. No use el dispositivo si observa algún daño.
Guarde el dispositivo cuando no
lo use
► Las temperaturas dentro del vehículo pueden
alcanzar niveles extremos en verano y en invierno.
Para prevenir daño, no guarde el dispositivo en el
vehículo.
■ Guarde el dispositivo en un lugar seco, libre de
polvo y lejos de la luz solar directa.
