Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (I) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (C). Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (I) and lay it over your unit. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: When nailing along the BRACES (F), support the BRACES to keep them even with the BACK and solid. 1N NAIL (45 used for the BACK) This perforated hole needs to be at the top of the unit. These holes must line up over the UPRIGHT (C). You may need to gently tap them in with a hammer. å NOTE: The DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS are marked "RH" and "LH" for easy identification. å Fasten the DRAWER FRONT (G) to the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (9G). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). 3 Maximum 210 degrees Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER FRONT groove. å Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (D703) into the grooves in the DRAWER SIDES (D257 and D262) and DRAWER FRONT (G). 4 Arrow Start each screw a few turns before completely tightening any of them. 30S Minimum 190 degrees BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREW (30 used in this step) M64 Hidden part using recycled material. Use five BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (30S). Repeat Step 12 for the remaining drawers. The SMALL drawers will use parts 8G, H, D166, D245, D271, D703, and M64. www.sauder.com/service Step 13 VIEW THE DRAWER GLIDE VIDEO å Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (35AC) to the RIGHT DRAWER SIDE (D262) and a DRAWER LEFT (35AD) to the LEFT DRAWER SIDE (D257). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #2. å å NOTE: The glides are not intended to rotate. Repeat this step for the remaining drawers. We recommend using the SAFETY STRAP for added stability. å å Carefully cut out the perforated hole in the BACK (I). Insert the other end of the SAFETY STRAP through this hole. å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Insert the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR through the WASHER and one end of the SAFETY STRAP. 2. Using a Phillips screwdriver or a hand drill, press the screw slightly onto the drywall. 3. Apply pressure; turn the screw until a pilot hole is made and the nylon sheath slips through. 4. Turn the screw until it is flush against the wall and you feel a firm resistance. 5. Continue to turn until the screw starts spinning freely. å NOTE: Before moving your unit to a different location, unscrew the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR from your wall. The nylon sheath will remain behind your wall. Open the FURNITURE TIPPING RESTRAINT KIT (97) and fasten the SAFETY STRAP to the TOP (D). Use the provided BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW. NOTE: Do not turn the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR into a wall stud. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. å å å NOTE: Be sure the label on the LEFT DRAWER SIDE is in one of the UPPER drawers. Fixer le MONTANT (C) sur le DESSUS (D). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol. Attention: Risque des dégâts ou blessures. Les Excentriques Escamotables doivent être serrés à bloc. Les Excentriques Escamotables que ne sont pas serrées à bloc peuvent desserrer et les pièces peuvent séparer. Pour serrer à bloc, faire tourner l'excentrique escamotable de 210 degrés. Enfoncer vingt EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B), le MONTANT (C), les ENTRETOISES (F) et les ENTRETOISES DE TIROIR (M64). Ensuite, insérer l'extrémité en métal de la CHEVILLE D'EXCENTRIQUE (2F) dans chaque EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE. ÉTAPE 6 Fixer les ENTRETOISES (F) au MONTANT (C). Serrer quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. ÉTAPE 2 Fixer six GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT UNIVERSELLES* (35AA) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B). Utiliser douze VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3. REMARQUE : S’assurer de positionner les ENTRETOISES avec EN MÉTAL exactement comme l’indique le schéma. *système de coulisse en instance de brevet ÉTAPE 7 ÉTAPE 3 Fixer les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) au DESSUS (D) et aux ENTRETOISES (F). Serrer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Fixer six GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT UNIVERSELLES* (35AA) au MONTANT (C). Utiliser douze VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3. ÉTAPE 8 Fixer la BASE (E) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B), au MONTANT (C) et aux ENTRETOISES (F). Utiliser sept VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S) à travers les CONSOLES EN MÉTAL et dans le SOCLE. *système de coulisse en instance de brevet ÉTAPE 4 Fixer sept CONSOLES EN MÉTAL (4G) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B), au MONTANT (C) et aux deux ENTRETOISES (F). Utiliser sept VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). REMARQUE : S'assurer que les chants des CONSOLES EN MÉTAL sont à fleur des chants des EXTRÉMITÉS, du MONTANT et des ENTRETOISES. Page 22 420449 www.sauder.com/service ÉTAPE 9 ÉTAPE 12 Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSUS (J) au DESSUS (D). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 25 mm MARRON (12S). 1 Séparer les CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE TIROIR (9G) et les enfiler dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D257 et D262). Il est peutêtre nécessaire de les enfoncer délicatement à l'aide d'un marteau. ÉTAPE 10 REMARQUE : Les CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE TIROIR ont l'inscription "RH" (Droite) et l'inscription "LH" (Gauche) pour faciliter leur identification. À l'aide d'un marteau, enfoncer légèrement six PATINS (13E) dans les chants des EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B), du MONTANT (C) et de la BASE (E). Fixer le DEVANT DE TIROIR (G) aux CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE TIROIR (9G). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). ÉTAPE 11 2 Enfiler le FOND DE TIROIR (D703) dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D257 et D262) et du DEVANT DE TIROIR (G). Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'effondrer. 3 Fixer l'ENTRETOISE DE TIROIR (M64) au DEVANT DE TIROIR (G). Serrer un EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE. REMARQUE : Lorsque l’on retourne l’unité, ne pas soulever sur les ENTRETOISES (F). 4 Fixer l'ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR (D167) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D257 et D262) et à l’ENTRETOISE DE TIROIR (M64). Utiliser cinq VIS TÊTE PLATE 40 mm NOIRES (30S). Répéter l'étape 12 pour les autres tiroirs. Les PETITS tiroirs utiliseront les pièces 8G, H, D166, D245, D271, D703 et M64. Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Déplier l'ARRIÈRE (I) et le placer sur l'élément. Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants de l'ARRIÈRE (I). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 2. REMARQUE : Les coulisses ne sont pas sensées tourner. Répéter cette étape pour les autres tiroirs. ÉTAPE 14 Fixer une POIGNÉE (2K) sur le DEVANT DE TIROIR (G). Utiliser deux VIS À MÉTAUX 16 mm ARGENTÉES (15S). Pour réduire le risque de renversement de meubles : Ouvrir le KIT DE RETENUE ANTI-BASCULEMENT POUR MOBILIER (97) et fixer la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ au DESSUS (D). Utiliser la VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm fourni. • TOUJOURS installer le dispositif anti-basculement fourni. Avec précaution, découper le trou pré-percé dans l’ARRIÈRE (I). Insérer l’autre extrémité de la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ à travers ce trou. REMARQUE : Ne pas tourner le DISPOSITIF DE SÉCURITÉ POUR PLACOPLÂTRE dans un montant mural. Si on préfère fixer la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ à un montant mural, obtenir la visserie appropriée auprès d’une quincaillerie locale. INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION : 1. Insérer le DISPOSITIF DE SÉCURITÉ POUR PLACOPLÂTRE à travers la RONDELLE et une extrémité de la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ. 2.
