not lit, then push the "Memory Stick
Duo' in once.

• Do not open the battery cover or turn
off the camera while the access lamp is
lit, otherwise the data may be
destroyed.

• Unless you set tile clock, the Clock Set screen appears each time the camera is turned on.
• If the camera is running on battery power and you do not operate the camera for about three
minutes, the camera turns off"automatically to prevent wearing down the battery/Auto

checked when you send your camera to be repaired.
The battery remaining indicator is incorrect, or sufficient battery remaining
indicator is displayed but the power runs out too quickly.
• This phenomenon occurs when you use the camera ill an extremely hot or cold location.
• When using alkaline batteries/Oxy Nickel Primary Battery (not supplied), the displayed time
remaining may not be com:ctly indicated.
• The batteries ar_: discharged. Install ne_ batteries or charged Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries
(not supplied) (page 9).
• When using the Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, the poles of batteries or the terminals of the
battery cover are dirty so the batteries are not charged sufficiently. Clean Ihen/with a cotton
swab, etc.
• When using the Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, the displayed time remaining differs from the
cum:nt one due to the memory effvcL etc. Fully discharge and then charge the batteries to
correct the display.
• The batteries are dead. Replace Ihem with new ones.
The batteries run down too quickly.
• You ue using the camera ill an extremely cold location.
• The batteries are dead. Replace Ihem with ne_s ones.
• When using the Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, charge them sufficientl).
Camera power is turned off automatically when you open the battery/"Memory
Stick Duo" cover.
• This is not a mallhnction. Turn off the camera before you open the battery/'Memory Stick

Cannot insert dates on images.

• Press [_ (Playback) button (page 15).
• The lkdder/flle name has been changed on your computer.
• When an image file has been processed by a computer or when the image file was recorded
using a model other than that of your camera, playb ick on your camera is not guaranteed.
• The camera is in USB mode. Delete the USB connection.

• Siutiliza baterfas de hidmro de nfquel-n/etal, el tiempo restante visualizado var/a rcspecto del
actual debido al efccto de memoria, clc. Descargue las baterfas totahnente y vuelva a cargarlas

• Las baterfas ya no sirven. Reemphlcelas pot otras nuevas.
Las batefias se agotan muy rapidamente.

No es posible encender la cbmara.
• lnstale las baterfas corrcctamente (p_igina6).
• Conecte el adaptador de ca/no suministrado) correctamente.

• Las baterfas ya no sin'en. Reemphicelas por otras nuevas.
La alimentaci6n se desconecta de repente.
• Si no utiliza la cfimara durante unos tres minutos mientras est_iconectada la alimentaci6n, la
c_imara se apaga automfiticamente para cvitar que hasbater*as se descarguen. Encienda la
c_imara de nueno (p:igina 8).
• Las baterias est_indescargadas, lnstale nuevas baterias o baterias de hidrun) de nkluel-metal
cargadas (p_igina6).
La camara no puede grabar imbgenes.
• ('ompruebe la capacidad libre de la memoria interna o el 'Memory Stick Duo" (pfiginas 22 .v

No es posible insertar la fecha en las im&genes.
• Esta c_imarano dispone de l_lnci6n para superponer la h.'cha en las imfigenes. Para imprimir o
guardar las imfigenes con la fccha insertada, utilice "Picture Motion Bro_ set'.
La c&mara no puede reproducir im&genes.
• Pulse el bot6n [_ (Reproducir) (p;igina 12).
• El hombre de carpeta/archivo se ha cambiado ell el ordenador.
• Si se ha procesado un archivo de im igen con un ordenador o si se ha grabado el archivo de
imagen con un modelo distinto al de la cfimara, la reproducci6n ell esta c_imarano est_i
garantizada.
• La cfimara est_iell el modo USB. Elimine la conexi6n USB.
