IMPORTANT: Read entire owner's manual before you

attempt to assemble or operate your new pressure washer.

REMOVE PRESSURE

- Remove the parts bag packed with pressure washer.

- Slice two corners at the end of carton from top to

bottom so the panel can be folded down flat, then

remove all packing material

PREPARING PRESSURE

WASHER FOR USE

If you have any problems with the assembly of your

pressure washer or if parts are missing or damaged, cal! the

pressure washer helpline at !-888-611-6708.

To prepare your pressure washer for operation, you

will need to perform these tasks:

I, Fill out and send in registration card,

2, Attach accessory tray to handle, then attach handle to

main unic

3. Add oil to engine crankcase

4 Add fuel to fuel tank.,

5 Connect high pressure hose to spray gun and pump,

6. Connect water supply to pump,

7 Attach nozzle extension to spraygun,

8, Selecdattach quick connect spray tip to nozzle

extension.

Attach Handle and Accessory Tray

NOTE: All assembly operations given in this section will be

described from the perspective of assembling the pressure

washer from the rear,

I, Slide the plastic accessory tray onto the handle and

align the holes in the accessory tray with the holes on

the handle (Figure 1).

Section 3: Assembly

2 Secure tray to handle with self tapping screws using a

#2 phillips screwdriver. Ensure screws are tight but not

crushing the plastic accessory tray°

3 Place the handle assembly onto the handle supports

connected to the main unit_ Make sure the holes in the

handle align with the holes on the handle supports

(Figure 2)

NOTE: It may be necessary to move the handle supports

from side to side in order to align the h_ndle so it will slide

over the handle supports.

4. Insert the"L" bait through the hole on the left side of

the handle (viewing from handle side of unit) and attach

the plastic knobTighten the knob by hand (Figure 3),

5. insert the carriage bolt through the right side hole

from the outside of the unit and attach a plastic knob

from the inside of the unit (viewing unit from the

handle side) Tighten by hand (Figure 3),

6.. Insert the "J" hook into the second from the left slot in

the accessory tray (Figure 4),

7. Pinch the chemical hose and slide it into the metal clip

as shown in Figure 5_

8. Tilt the unit up by the handle and attach the metal clip

to the rib on the center underside of the accessory

tray (Figure 6).Slide the chemical hose through the

metal clip so that it is tight but not kinked,

Add Engine Oil

IMPORTANT: Any attempt to crank or start the engine

before it hasbeen properly serviced with the

recommended oil may result in an engine failure,

• Place pressure washer on a level surface

- Refer to the engine owners manual to add recommended

oil to engine,.

NOTE= Check oil often during engine break-in,. Refer to

engine owner's manual for recommendations..

Add Fuel

WARNING! NEVER fill fuel tank indoors, NEVER

fill fuel tank when engine is running or hot,Allow

unit to cool for two minutes before refueling, DO

NOT Iight a cigarette or smoke when filling the fuel

tank,

Section 3: Assembly

,_ WARNING! NEVER fill fuel tank completely full.

Provide space for fuel expansion Wipe away any fuel

spillage from engine and equipment before starting°

. Place pressure washer on a level surface,

. Refer to the engine owners manual to add recommended

fuel to engine,

Connect Hose and Water Supply to

Pump

IMPORTANT: To avoid pump damage, you must assemble

the nozzle extension to the spray gun and attach all hoses

before you start the engine,

NOTE'-Your pressure washer comes with a quick connect

that you can use to attach the high pressure hose to either

the spray gun or pump,

I., Uncoil the high pressure hose and attach the female

quick connect to one end of the hose,Attach the male

quick connect to the gun (Figure 7)

2, Attach the end of the hose to the base of the spray

gun (Figure 7)._Pull down on the collar of the quick

connect, slide fitting into the pump and let go of collar.

Pull on hose to be sure of a tight connection.

NOTE: The quick connect isshown connecting the high

pressure hose to the spray gun If you choose to use the

quick connect for the hose to pump connection, follow the

same directions to attach quick connect from hose to pump.

3_ Attach the other end of the high pressurehose to the high

pressure outlet on the pump (Figure8).Tighten byhand,

Before you connect your garden hoseto the water inlet,

inspect the inlet screen (Figure9), Clean the screen if it

contains debris, replace it if it is damaged DO NOT RUN

THE PRESSUREWASHERIFTHE SCREEN ISDAMAGED.,

5. Run water through the garden hose for 30 seconds to

clean out any debris Turn off water,,

IMPORTANT: DO NOT siphon standing water for the

water supply, Use ONLY cold water (less than i00°F),_

6. Connect the garden hose (not to exceed 50 feet in

length) to the water inlet,Tighten by hand (Figure 9)

CAUTION! There MUST be at least ten feet of

unrestricted garden hose between the pressure washer

inlet and any flow shut off device, such as a 'Y' shut-off

connector or other convenience-type water shut-off valve,

Damage to pressure washer resulting from disregarding this

caution will not be covered by the warran_

7, Turn ON the water and squeeze the trigger on the spray

gun to purge the pump system of air and impurities.

._ CAUTION! Before starting the pressure washer,

be sure you are wearing adequate eye protection

Checklist Before Starting Engine

Review the unit's assembly to confirm you have performed

all of the following:

I, Make sure the handle is in place and secure,,

2_ Check that oil hasbeen added to the proper level in

the engine crankcase,

3_ Add the proper fuel to fuel tank.,

4,. Check for properly attached hose connections,

5,, Check to make sure that there are no kinks, cuts, or

damage to the high pressure hose.

6, Provide a proper water supply at an adequate flow

7,, Be sure to read"Safety Rules" and "HowTo UseYour

PressureVVasher" before using the pressure washer.

Operation

HOW TO USE YOUR

PRESSURE WASHER

Ifyou have any problems operating your pressure washer,

please call the pressure washer heipline at !-888-611-6708,

To Start Your Pressure Washer

To star_ your pressure washer for the first time, follow

these instructions step-by-step.This starting information

also applies if you have let the pressure washer sit idle for

at least a day_

I_ Place the pressure washer near an outside water

source capable of supplying water at a flow rate

greater than 3°6gallons per minute and no less than

20 PSIat the pressure washer end of the garden hose,

2,_ Check that the high pressure hose isconnected to the

spray gun and to the pump See "Preparing Pressure

Washer" for Use" for illustrations

3,_ Make sure unit is in a level position

4_ Connect the garden hose to the water inlet on the

pressure washer pump, Turn ON the water.

CAUTION! DO NOT run the pump without the water

supply connected and turned on/You must follow this

caution or the pump will be damaged,

5, Squeeze the trigger on the gun until you have a steady

stream of water, This purges the pump of air and

impurities.,

6, Attach the nozzle extension to the spray gun

(Figure 10).Tighten by hand,

7,, Choose the spray tip you want to use and insert it into

the nozzle extension. See "How to Use the SprayTips"

on page I 0r

8,, Engagethe safety latch to the spraygun trigger (Figure I I),

9, Move the variable pressure control lever to "High"

position, shown on engine as a rabbit (Figure 12)_

Section 4: Opera ion

I0r Start the engine according to instructions given in the

engine owner's manual.

NOTE: If the recoil starter is hard to pull, it may be

necessary to squeeze the gun trigger to relieve internal

pump pressure

How to StopYour Pressure Washer

• Move variable pressure control lever to "Stop" position

o Turn engine off according to instructions given in the

engine owner's manual

, Squeeze trigger on the spray gun to relieve

pressure in the hose_

NOTE: A small amount of water wild squirt out when you

release the pressure_

How to Use Accessory Tray

The unit is equipped with an accessory tray with places to

store your nozzle extension and quick connect spray tips,

and slots to hold the cleaning solution bottle and the

detergent siphoning filter.There are also two hooks at the

ends of the handle to hold your spray gun and high

pressure hose.

NOTE:The extra holes in the tray are for storing abrush

and a turbo wand The brush and turbo wand are NOT

included with your pressure washer.You can buy these

items as optional accessories.

t. Place the nozzle extension through the hole on the

accessory tray, as shown in Figure 13.

2r Hang your chemical solution bottle on the"J" hook

and place the detergent siphoning filter in the last slot

on the left (Figure 13)_

3.. Place the spray gun on the hook attached to the

accessory tray on the right side of the unit (Figure 13).

4, Hang the high pressure hose on the hook attached to

the accessory tray on the left side of the unit as shown

on page 4..

Section 4: Operation

How to Use the SprayTips

,_ CAUTION! NEVER exchange spray tips without

locking the safety latch on the trigger.

The quick-connect on the nozzle extension allows you to

switch between five different spray tips The spray tips vary

the spray pattern as shown below (Figure t4)

Follow these instructions to change spray tips:

I._ Engagethe safety latch on the spray gun

2.. Pull back the collar on the quick-connect and pull the

current spray tip off. Store the spray tips in the space

provided on the handles storage panel,

NOTE: For a more gentle rinse, select the white 40° or

green 25° spray tipTo scour the surface, select the yellow

15° or red 0 ° spray tipTo apply chemical, select the black

spray tip..

3, Pull back on the collar, insert the new spray tip and

release the collar_Tug on the spray tip to make sure it

is securely in place.

4_ For most effective cleaning, keep the spray tip from 8

to 24 inchesaway from the cleaning surface. If you get

the spray tip too close, you may damage the cleaning

surface.

5.. DO NOT get closer than 6 inches when cleaning tires_

Cleaning and Applying Chemical

CAUTION! You must attach all hoses before you

start the engine. Starting the engine without all the hoses

connected and without the water turned ON will damage

the pump

IMPORTANT: Use soaps designed specifically for

pressure washers. Household detergents could damage

the pump

To apply detergent follow these steps:

I.. Review the use of the spray tips.,

2_ Prepare the detergent solution as required by the

manufacturer.

Hang the detergent solution on the "j" hook attached

to the accessory tray, as shown in Figure IS

Section4: Operation

4, Place the small filter end of the detergent siphoning

tube into the detergent container.

CAUTION! Keep the chemical injection tube from

coming in contact with the hot muffler,

5. Make sure the black spray tip is installed..

NOTE: Detergent cannot be applied with the high

pressure spray tips (White, Green,Yellow, or Red),

6o Hake sure the garden hose is connected to the water

inlet. Check that the high pressure hose is connected

to the spray gun and the pump and start the engine,

7,, Apply the detergent to a dry surface, starting at lower

portion of area to be washed and work upward, using

long, even,overlapping strol<es..

8. Allow the detergent to soak in between 3-5 minutes

before washing and rinsing_Reapply as needed to

prevent surface from drying. DO NOT allow the

detergent to dry on (prevents streaking)..

IMPORTANT:You must flush the chemical injection

system after each use by placing the filter into a bucket of

clean water, then run the pressure washer in tow pressure

for I-2 minutes.

Pressure Vv'asher Rinsing

_ ARNING! Be extremely careful if you must use

the pressure washer from a ladder, scaffolding or any

other relatively unstable location, When you press

the trigger, the recoil from the initial spray can be

very strong,The high pressure spray could cause you

to fall if you are too close to the cleaning surface,,

Wash and Rinse Surface

This pressure washer permits regulation of output water

pressure by varying the engine speedThe variable pressure

control lever found on the front of the engine may be set,

as shown in Figure 16:

After you have applied detergent, scour the surface

and rinse it clean as follows:

1, Apply safety latch to spray gun,,

Remove the black chemical nozzle from the nozzle

extension,

Select and install the desired high pressure nozzle

following the instructions "How to Use the SprayTips"

on page l0

Keep the spray gun a safe distance from the area you

plan to spray,

Adjust the spray pressure by sliding the variable

pressure contol lever left or right, as shown in Figure 12

on page 8.

_ AUTION! Firmly grasp spray gun with both

hands when using high pressure spray to avoid

injury if gun kicks back..

6_ Apply a high pressure spray to a small area and then

check the surface for damage, if no damage is found,

you can assume it is okay to continue rinsing_

7,. Start at the top of the area to be rinsed, working

down with same overlapping strokes asyou used for

cleaning.,

Automatic Cool Down System

(Thermal Relief)

If you run the engine on your pressure washer for

3-5 minutes without pressing the trigger on the spray gun,

circulating water in the pump can reach a temperature

between t25 °-155°EAt this temperature, the system

engages and cools the pump by discharging the warm

water onto the ground. This system prevents internal

damage to the pump_

Maintenance

GENERAL HAINTENANCE

RECOHHENDATIONS

The pressure washer warranty does not cover items that have

been subjected to operator abuse or negligence.To receive full

value from the warranty,, the operator must maintain the

pressure washeras instructed in this manual.

• Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to

properly maintain your pressure washer.Check the spray

gun andadjustable nozzle extension assemblyfor wear.

• All maintenance in this manual and the engine owner's

manual should be made at least once each season.

• Once a year you should clean or replace the spark plug,

clean or replace the air fllcer.A new spark plug and clean

air filter assure proper fuel-air mixture and help your

engine run better and last longer. Pleaserefer to your

engine owner's manual for more detaiIs,,

• if equipped with inflatable tires, keep the air pressure at

the value marked on the tire or within 15 and 40 psi,

Before Each Use

I_ Check engineoil level

2. Check water inlet screen for damage,

3, Check in-line filter for damage,

4. Check high pressure hose for leaks

5. Check detergent siphoning tube and filter for damage.

6_ Check spray gun and nozzle extension assembly for leaks.

7. Rinse out garden hose to flush out debris before

connecting to pressure washer.

PRESSURE VVASHER

MAINTENANCE

_ AUTION! Water spraying from a leak iscapable

of injecting material into skin_Inspect hose each

time before using it NEVER repair a high pressure

hose Replace it with another hose that exceeds the

maximum pressure rating of your pressure washer.

Check Detergent Siphoning Tube

Examine the filter on the detergent tube and clean if

clogged,The tube should fit tightly on the barbed fitting,

Examine the tube for leaks or tears, Replace the filter or

tube if either is damaged,

Cleaning Detergen t Siphoning Tube

if you used the detergent siphoning tube, you must flush it

with clean water before stopping the engine,.

I, Place the chemical iniection siphon/filter in a bucket full

of clean water.

2. Attach the black low pressure spray tip.

3. Flush for I-2 minutes,

4. Shut off the engine_

IMPORTANT: Simply shutting OFF engine will not

release pressure in the system, When the engine has

shut down, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to

relieve the pressure in the hose°

Check Gun and Nozzle Extension

Examine the hose connection to the spray gun and make

sure it is secure Test the trigger by pressing it and making

sure it "springs back" into place when you release it. Put

the safety latch in the ON position and test the trigger, You

should not be able to press the trigger.

Check In-Line Filter

Refer to Figure 17 and service the in-line filter if it

becomes clogged, as follows:

Check and Clean Inlet Screen

Examine the screen on the water inlet Clean it if the

screen is dogged or replace it if screen is damaged,

Check High Pressure Hose

The highpressure hose can develop leaks from wear,

kinking, or abuse,.Inspect the hose each time before using

iL Check for cuts, leaks,abrasions or bulging of cover,

damage or movement of couplings,, If any of these

conditions exist, replace the hose immediately.

Nozzle Extension

Detach spray gun and nozzle extension from high

pressure hose Detach nozzle extension from spray gun

and remove o-ring and screen from nozzle extension,

Flush the screen, spray gun, and adjustable nozzle

extension with clean water to dear debris

Section 5: Maintenance

If the screen is damaged,the o-ring kit contains a

replacement in-line filter screen and an o-ring. If

undamaged, reuse screen_

Place the in-fine filter screen into the threaded end of

the nozzle extension_ Direction does not matter. Push

the screen in with the eraser end of a pencil until it

rests fiat at the bottom of the opening .Take care to

not bend the screen..

4.. Place the o_ring into the recess. Push the o-ring snugly

against the in-line filter screen..

5o Assemble the nozzle extension to the spray gun, as

described earlier in this manual

Purge Pump of Air and

Contaminants

To remove air from the pump, follow these steps:

1. Set up the pressure washer as described in"Preparing

Pressure Washer For Use". Connect the water supply

and turn water on,

2. Pull the trigger on the spray gun and hold..

3._ When the water supply is steady and constant, engage

the safety latch

To remove contaminants from the pump, follow

these steps:

I, Set up the pressure washer as described in"Preparing

PressureVCasher For Use", Connect the water supply

Start the engine according to instructions in "To Start

Your Pressure Washer"..

3. Remove nozzle extension from spray gun.

4. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun and hold.

5_. When the water supply issteady and constant, engage

the safety latch and reattach the nozzle extension.

Nozzle Maintenance

A pulsing sensation felt while squeezing the spray gun

trigger may be caused by excessive pump pressure.The

principal cause of excessive pump pressure isa spray tip

cloggedor restricted with foreign materials, such asdirt,

etc.To correct the problem, immediately clean the spray tip

using the tools included with your pressure washer and

folfow these instructions:

1.. Shut off the engine and turn off the water supply

2.. Remove the spray tip from the end of the nozzle

extension (Figure 18),

Remove the in-line filter from the other end of the

nozzle extension,

Use the wire included in the Idt (or a small paper clip)

to free any foreign material clogging or restricting the

spray tip (Figure 18).

Using a garden hose, remove additional debris by back

flushing water through the nozzle extension

Back flush between 30 to 60 seconds,

Reinstall the spray tip and in-line filter into the nozzle

extension

7. Reconnect the nozzle extension to the spray gun..

8. Reconnect the water supply, turn on the water, and

start the engine.

9_ Test the pressure washer by operating with each of the

Quick Connect spray tips

O-Ring Maintenance

Through the normal operation of your pressure washer,

o-rings, which keep the connections of the hoses and spray

gun tight and leak-free, may become worn or damaged°

An O-Ring Maintenance Kit is provided with your pressure

washer which includesreplacement o-rings, rubber washer

and water inlet filter..Refer to the instruction sheet provided

in the kit to service your unit's o-rings Note that not alt of

the parts in the kit wilt be used on your unit

To remove a worn or damaged o-ring:

- Use a small flathead screwdriver to get underneath the

o-ring and pry it off,

PREPARING THE UNiT

FOR STORAGE

Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of

time. Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and

"freeze" pump acrJon,If you do not plan to use the pressure

washer for more than 30 days,follow this procedure:

I, Flush detergent siphoning tube by placing the filter into

a pail of clean water while running pressure washer in

low pressure mode Flush for one to two minutes

Z Shut off the engine and let it cool, then remove high

pressure and garden hoses. Disconnect spark pEugwire

from spark plug

Empty the pump of liquids by pulling the engine recoil

handle about 6 times,This should remove most of the

liquid in the pump,

Use pump saver to prevent corrosion build up and

freezing of pump,,

Store unit in a clean, dry area.

Protecting the Pump

To protect the pump from damage caused by mineral

deposits or freezing, use PumpSaver to treat pump, This

prevents freeze damage and lubricates pistons and seals,

NOTE: PumpSaver,model number 01559, is available as an

optional accessory_It is not included with the pressure

washer,,Contact the nearest authorized service center to

purchase PumpSaver.

CAUTION! You must protect your unit from freezing

temperatures. Failure to do so will permanently damage

your pump and render your unit inoperable. Freeze damage

is not covered under warranty,

_ CAUTION! Read and follow all cautions and

warnings on the PumpSaver can label Always wear

eye protection when using PumpSaven

To use PumpSaver,make sure the pressure washer is

turned off and disconnected from supply water, Read and

follow all instructions and warnings given on the PumpSaver

container,

NOTE: PumpSaver will drip from pump after treatment

and will stain wood and concrete,

NOTE: If PumpSaver is not available, draw RV antifreeze

(non-alcohol) into the pump by pouring the solution into a

3-foot section of garden hose connected to inlet adapter

and pulling recoil handle twice

PREPARANDO EL LAVADOR A

ALTA PRES_6N PARA SU USO

Si usted tiene un problema al ensamblar la unidad o si hacen faka

algunas piezas o se encuentran dafiadas, llame a ia linea direcm del

A prepara su arandela de la presi6n para la operaci6n,

usted necesitar_ a realiza estas tareas:

! Uene y mande en tarjeta de matricula

2 Conecte manubrio y bandeja accesoria a unidad principal

3. Afiada aceite ai motor.

4. Afiada gasolina at tanque de combustible

5. Conecte manguera a alta presi6n a pistola rociadora y a

bomba.

7.. Conecte boquilla la extensi6n al pistola rociadora.

8.. Selecto/conecta r_pido conecta boquilla a la extensi6n de la

boquitla.

Conecte el Manubrio y Bandeja Accesoria

NOTA:Todas las operaciones de ensamble proporcionadas en

1. Des{ice la bandeia accesoria pI_stica en el asidero y alinee los

hoyos en ]a bandeja accesoria con los hoyos en el asidero

(Figura 21).

2. La bande|a segura al asidero con tornillos auto utiliza usando

un #2 destorniltador de phillips,Asegure seres de tornillos

apretados pero no aplasmr la bandeja accesoria pl_.stica,

5. Inserte el perno "L" a travfis del orificio al lado derecho del

manubrio (visto desde la parte posterior de la unidad) y flje la

perilla de pl_srJco Apriete ta perilta manualmente (Figura 23)._

6. Inserte el gancho "J" en la segunda ranura a la izquierda en el

charola de accesorios (Figura 24).

7. Petlizque la manga quimica y Io desliza en el clip de metal

como roosts-ado en Figura 25..

Incline la unidad arriba por el asidero y conecte el clip de

me_al a ta costilla en la cara inferior cenu'al de la bandeja

accesoria (Figura 26). Deslice la manga quimica pot et clip de

metal para que no sea apretado pero kinked

Agregar Aceite al Motor

IMPORTANTE: Cualquier intento par'a arancar el motor antes

de haberle proporcionado el man_enimiento apropiado con el

aceite recomendado, podria ocasionar ia falla del motor_

Secd6n 3: Montaje

_ ADVERTENCIA! NUNCA llene por completo eltanque de combustible,,Deje espacio para la expansi6n del

combustible,,Limpie cualquier derrame de combustible del

motor y del equipo antes de darle arranque a la unidad,

Coloque la lavadora a presi6n sobre una superficie nivelada.

motor el combustible recomendado,,

Conecte la Manguera y el Suministro de

Agua a la Bomba

IMPORTANTE: Usted debe_ armar la extensi6n para boquillas

7' conecor todas las mangueras antes de darle arranque a[ motor,

La bomba resulmr_ dafiada si arranca el motor sin tenet todas las

mangueras conectadas y el suminfstro agua abierto.

NOTA: Su arandeta de fa presi6n viene con un r'kpido conecca

I Uncoil la manga aim de la presi6n y conecta el r_pido

conecta a un fin de la manga. Conecte el masculino r_pido

conecta al pistola de rociado (Figura 27),

2. Conecte la manguera a labase de la pistola de rociado

(Figura 27). Hale el collar de la conexi6n r_pida, desllce!o

apropiado en la bomba y suelte el collar,.Hale la manguera para

I.. Coloque la extensi6n de la boquilla a tray,s del orificio en el

charol_ de accesorios, tal y como se muestra en la Figura 33.

2. Sostenga la botella de su soluci6n limpiadora en el gancho en

forma de "J" y coloque el filtro del detergente en la _Itima

r_nura a la izquierda (Figura 33)..

3. Sostenga la pistola aspersora sobre el gancho adherido al

1. Enganche el cerrojo de seguridad de la pistola de rociado

Limpieza y Aplicaci6n del Quimico

6. Aseg0rese que la manguera de jardin est_ coneccada a la

enrs-adadel agua Revise que la manguera de alta presi6n est_

conecrada a la pistofa de rociado y a la bomba Dele arranque

7. Aplique el decergente sobre la superficie seca, comenzando en

ta parte inferior del _rea y dirigi_ndose hacia arriba, utitizando

movimientos largos, parejos y superpuestos_

8, Permita que el detergente penetre de 3 a 5 minucos antes de

enjuagar. Vuelva a apficar cuando sea necesario para evicar que

la superficie se seque, NO permita que el detergence se

seque,.Si permite que el detergence se seque, la superficie

podria quedar con manchas,

IMPORTANTE: Usted deber_ lavar el sistema de inyecci6n de

quimicos despu_s de cada uso colocando el filtro en un balde de

agua limpia y haciendo funcionar la m_quina lavadora a presi6n de

1 a 2 minutos en el modo de baja presi6n,.

Sistema de Enfriamiento Autom_tico

(Alivio T_rmico)

El agua que circula dentro de fa bomba puede alcanzar

temperaturas entre los 12S-_-155-"Fsi hate funcionar et motor de

su m_quina lavadora a presi6n de 3 a 5 minutos sin oprimir el

gatilto de la pistola de rociado, Cuando el agua alcanza dicha

temperatura, el sistema de enfriamiento autom_tico se activa y

enfria la bomba descargando agua caliente en el piso Este

sistema eviI_ el dafio interno de ta bomba., La descarga terminar_

una vez la bomba se haya enfriado..

Mantenimiento

RECOMENDACIONES GENERALES

La garanria de [a mz_quina lavadora a presi6n no cubre los

elementos que han sido sujetos a abuso o negligencia por parte

de! operador. Para hacer v_lida Eacobertura total de Eagaranda, eI

operador deber_ mantener la lavadora de presi6n _al y como se

indica en el manual

• Algunos ajustes tendr_n que hacerse peribdicamente para

mantener adecuadamente su mAquina tavadora a presi6n

- Todos los servicios y ajustes debergn hacerse pot Io menos

una vez en cada est_ci6n.

• Una vez al a_o, usted deber_ limpiar o remplazar la buj[a y el

filtro de aire. Una bulia nueva y un filtro de aire llmplo

garantizan una mezcla de combustible-aire adecuada y te ayuda

a su motor a funcionar me]or y a tener una vida 0dl m_s

prolongada.. Por favor_para mayores de_alles,consulte el

manual del propietario del motor_

• Si equip6 con Ilantas que se pode hinchar; mantenga la presi6n

a_rea en el valor marcado en ta Ilanta o dentro de 15 y 40 psi.,

desgaste, dobleces o abuso. Revise la manguera antes de cada uso_

cubierta, da_o o movimiento de los acoplamientos Si existe

cualquiera de escas condtciones, remptace la manguer-a

inmediatamente.

roto Reemplace el filtro o el tubo si alguno de ellos se encuentr-a

Limpiando el Tubo

Siusted us6 e] tubo, usted debe lavario con agua limpia antes de

parar et motor:

1_ Coloque el flit_to y ta inyecci6n quimica en un balde Ileno de

agua limpia,

2.. Conecte tapuncas de roc[o negra de baja presi6n..

3. Lave de I a 2 minutos

4.. Apague el motor.

IHPORTANTE: Apagando el motor, simptemente no soltar_ [a

presi6n en el sistema.. Cuando et motor se ha apagado,

apriete el gatiilo en la pistola rociadora para deshacerse

de la presi6n en |a rnanguera.

Revise la Pistola y la Extensi6n para

Boquillas

Examine I_conexi6n de la manguera a la pistola y cerciorese de

que est6 en buen escado. Pruebe el garJllo oprimi6ndolo y

asegur_ndose de que se cfevuefve a su sitio cuando Io suelte

Coloque el cerrojo de seguridad y pruebe e! gadllo.. Usted no

debe ser capaz de oprimir el gadllo Remplace la pistota

inmediammente si f'alla cualquiera de estas pruebas..

Revise el Filtro en Linea

Consulte la Figura 37 y suministre servicio al filtro en l_neasi se

tapa slguiendo estos pasos:

Retire la pistola y la extensi6n para boquillas de la manguera

de aim presi6n., Retire la extensi6n para boquiltas de la

pistola y retire el anillo 'o' y el cotador de la extensi6n para

boquillas Lave el colador, pistola y ex_ensi6n para boquiltas

con agua timpia para eliminar toda clase de residuos.

Secd6n 5: Manten[miento

Z Si el colador est_ da_ado, enconcrar_ un colador para el fittro

en linea y un anitlo 'o' de repuesto en et juego de aniIIos 'oL

Si no est_ da_ado, vuelva a usarlo..

3, Coloque el colador det filtro en tlnea en el extremo con

rosca de la extensi6n para boquillas.. Su direcci6n no imporca.,

Coloque el colador ejerciendo presi6n con el borrador de

un l_piz basra que se asiente pot completo en el fondo de ta

abertura.Tenga cuidado de no dobiar el colador

4.. Coloque el anitlo 'o' en la ranura respectiva Empuie el anillo 'o'

hasta que quede ajust_do contra el colador det filtro en linea..

S. Conecte ia extensi6n para boquillas a la pistola de roctado de

la manera descrita anteriormente en este manual.

Elimine el Aire y los Contaminantes de la

Bomba

Para retirar el aire de Ia bomba, siga los siguientes pasos:

I. Ins_te la m_quina Iavadora a presibn como es_ descrito en

"Preparando el lavador a al_a presi6n para su uso'. Conecte

el abastecimiento de agua y prenda agua..

2. Estire el disparador en el fusl{ de! roclo y el asidero.

3. Cu_ndo el agua es conscante y constante, compromete e{

picaporte de la seguridad..

Para retirar los contaminantes de la bomba, siga los

siguientes pasos:

I.. Instale ta m_,quina ]avadora a presi6n como est_ descrito en

"Preparando el lavador a alta presi6n para su uso" Conecte

el abastecimiento de agua y prenda agua..

2_ Ponga en marcha el motor de acuerdo a las instrucdones de

"C6mo Darle Arranque a su M_quina Lav_dora a Presi6n'L

3. Quite boquilfa la extensi6n de{ fusi{ de! roc{o

4. Hale el gatillo de la pistola y mant&ngalo apretado.

5 Cuando el suminiscro de agua sea uniforme y constante,

enganche el cerrojo de seguridad y vuelva a aiustar la

e×tensi6n para boquitlas.

Mantenimiento de la Boquilla

Si siente una sensacl6n pulsante al momento de apretar e{ gatitto

de la pistola rociadora, puede que sea causada pot fa presi6n

excesiva en la bomba La causa principal de la presi6n excesiva en

la bomba es cuando la punms de rodo se encuentra at2scada o

tapada con materiales extrafios, t_ies como derra, etc., Para

corregir el problema. Iimpte lnmediatamente la puntas de rocio

usando las herramiencas incluidas con su lavador a presi6n y siga

las instrucdones siguientes:

I. Apague el motor y apague el suministro de agua.

2 Remueva la puncasde rocio del extremo de la extensi6n de

ta boquilla (Figura 38),

3. Qui_e el en ef fiftro de la linea de] o_o fin de la extensibn de

boquifIa,

4 Use el alambre incluido en el juego (o un peque_o suieta

papeles) para liberar cualquier material extra_o que est_

tapando la puncas de roc{o (Figura 38),

5. Usando una manguera de jardin, remueva cualquier desecho

adicional, poniendo agua en la extensi6n de la boquilra

(Figura 39)Haga _sto de 30 a 60 segundos,

6.. Instaie de nuevo fa puntas de roc{o y en el fiitro en-I{nea en la

e_ensi6n

7 Conecte de nuevo la extensi6n de la boquiRa a la pis_ola

rociadora..

8 Conecte de nuevo el suminis_ro de agua, prenda el agua, y

encienda el motor

9. Pruebe el lavador a presi6n al hater funcionar con cada una

de fas punras de rocio de Conexiones _pidas que viene con

el lavador a presi6n.

Mantenimiento de los Anillos 'O'

Durance la operaci6n normal de su m_quina lavadora a presi6n

los ani!tos 'o' mantienen apremdas y libres de fugas las conexiones

de las mangueras y la pistola, ellos pueden desgastarse o da_arse

con e_ u5o_

Su m_quina tavadora a presi6n viene con un Juego de Mantenimiento
