Keep all information and instructions in a safe place. 3. Follow the instructions. 4. Observe all safety warnings. Never remove safety warnings or other information from the equipment. 5. Use the equipment only in the intended manner and for the intended purpose. 6. Use only sufficiently stable and compatible stands and/or mounts (for fixed installations). Make certain that wall mounts are properly installed and secured. Make certain that the equipment is installed securely and cannot fall down. 7. During installation, observ e the applicable safety regulations for your country. 8. Never install and operate the equipment near radiators, heat registers, ovens or other sources of heat. Make certain that the equipment is always installed so that is cooled sufficiently and cannot overheat. 9. Never place sources of ignition, e.g., burning candles, on the equipment. 10. Ventilation slits must not be blocked. 11. Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm around and above the device. 12. Do not use this equipment in the immediate vicinity of water (does not apply to special outdoor equipment - in this case, observe the special instructions noted below. Do not expose this equipment to flammable materials, fluids or gases. Avoid direct sunlight! 13. Make certain that dripping or splashed water cannot enter the equipment. Do not place containers filled with liquids, such as vases or drinking vessels, on the equipment. 14. Make certain that objects cannot fall into the device. 15. Use this equipment only with the accessories recommended and intended by the manufacturer. 16. Do not open or modify this equipment. 17. After connecting the equipment, check all cables in order to prevent damage or accidents, e.g., due to tripping hazards. 18. During transport, make certain that the equipment cannot fall down and possibly cause property damage and personal injuries. 19. If your equipment is no longer functioning properly, if fluids or objects have gotten inside the equipment or if it has been damaged in anot her way, switch it off immediately and unplug it from the mains outlet (if it is a powered device). This equipment may only be repaired by authorized, qualified personnel. 20. Clean the equipment using a dry cloth. 21. Comply with all applicable disposal laws in your country. During disposal of packaging, please separate plastic and paper/cardboard. 22. Plastic bags must be kept out of reach of children. 23. Please note that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user´s authority to operate the equipment. CAUTION: If the power cord of the device is equipped with an earthing contact, then it must be connected to an outlet with a protective ground. Never deactivate the protective ground of a power cord. 25. If the equipment has been exposed to strong fluctuations in temperature (for example, after transport), do not switch it on immediately. Moisture and condensation could damage the equipment. Do not switch on the equipment until it has reached room temperature. 26. Before connecting the equipment to the power outlet, first verify that the mains voltage and frequency match the values specified on the equipment. If the equipment has a voltage selection switch, connect the equipment to the power outlet only if the equipment values and the mains power values match. If the included power cord or power adapter does not fit in your wall outlet, contact your electrician. 27. Do not step on the power cord. Make certain that the power cable does not become kinked, especially at the mains outlet and/or power adapter and the equipment connector. 28. When connecting the equipment, make certain that the power cord or power adapter is always freely accessible. Always disconnect the equipment from the power supply if the equipment is not in use or if you want to clean the equipment. Always unplug the power cord and power adapter from the power outlet at the plug or adapter and not by pulling on the cord. Never touch the power cord and power adapter with wet hands. 29. Whenever possible, avoid switching the equipment on and off in quick succession because otherwise this can shorten the useful life of the equipment. 30. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Replace fuses only with fuses of the same type and rating. If a fuse blows repeatedly, please contact an authorised service centre. 31. To disconnect the equipment from the power mains completely, unplug the power cord or power adapter from the power outlet. 32. If your device is equipped with a Volex power connector, the mating Volex equipment connector must be unlocked before it can be removed. However, this also means that the equipment can slide and fall down if the power cable is pulled, which can lead to personal injuries and/or other damage. For this reason, always be careful when laying cables. 33. Unplug the power cord and power adapter from the power outlet if there is a risk of a lightning strike or before extended periods of disuse. ITALIANO DMX 3 ENGLISH CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). There are no user serviceable parts inside. Maintenance and repairs should be exclusively carried out by qualified service personnel. The warning triangle with lightning symbol indicates dangerous uninsulated voltage inside the unit, which may cause an electrical shock. DEUTSCH The warning triangle with exclamation mark indicates important operating and maintenance instructions. Warning! This symbol indicates a hot surface. Certain parts of the housing can become hot during operation. After use, wait for a cool-down period of at least 10 minutes before handling or transporting the device. HIGH VOLUMES IN AUDIO PRODUCTS! This device is meant for professional use. Therefore, commercial use of this equipment is subject to the respectively applicable national accident prevention rules and regulations. As a manufacturer, Adam Hall is obligated to notify you formally about the existence of potential health risks. Hearing damage due to high volume and prolonged exposure: When in use, this product is capable of producing high sound-pressure levels (SPL) that can lead to irreversible hearing damage in performers, employees, and audience members. For this reason, avoid prolonged exposure to volumes in excess of 90 dB. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. - Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. - Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. - Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. INTRODUCTION ITALIANO The LD DS21 is an all-purpose 2.1 24-bit speaker processor with outstanding sound quality, which can be easily configured via the practical front operating panel, and conveniently edited via PC software. The rackable device is suitable both for live use and fixed installation, and offers adjustable EQ, crossover, delay and limiter functions. The parametric 3-band EQ of the LD DS21 offers a variable bandwidth as well as high and low frequencies. Crossover filters available for selection include Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz-Riley – with slope values between 6 dB and 24 dB. The delay time for the three outputs can be individually adjusted to values up to 12.5 ms, the limiter value for the threshold and hold time can be separately configured for the L/R and subwoofer channels. DMX The operating element, which consists of an illuminated 2-row LC display and a rotary encoder, makes it possible to quickly retrieve up to 6 presets, and also offers real-time level display. The back of the device has two XLR sockets for inputs, three more XLR sockets for the stereo L/R or subwoofer output, as well as a USB connection. Also included in delivery is a CD with editing software, a power cable and a USB cable. 4 CONNECTIONS, OPERATING AND DISPLAY ELEMENTS 2 ENGLISH 3 6 1 5 4 6 1 POWER On / off switch for device’s power supply. A suitable power cable is included. IMPORTANT: Replace the fuse with only a fuse of the same type and of the same value (T1AL/250V)! In the event of repeated fuse failure, please contact an authorised service centre. 8 USB ITALIANO USB interface to edit and manage all parameters and presets of the LD DS21 speaker processor via a Windows PC. Software and driver for the Windows operating system are supplied with the device and are also available to download from the product page WWW.LD-SYSTEMS.COM. 9 INPUT LEFT / RIGHT Left and right line inputs with female 3-pin XLR sockets. 10 OUTPUT LEFT / RIGHT Left and right line outputs with male 3-pin XLR sockets. DMX 11 OUTPUT SUB Subwoofer line output with male 3-pin XLR sockets. 5 ENGLISH EDITING VIA THE OPERATING PANEL The individual menu items and the main display with signal level display for the outputs left, right and subwoofer can be reached by repeatedly pressing the PARAMETER button. The display automatically switches to the main display after approximately 15 seconds of no input. Settings adjusted via the operating panel are stored, even if the device is restarted. However, we recommend saving individual settings as a preset via the editing software (see “MANAGEMENT OF PRESETS”). L: Sub: R: SUB VOLUME Menu item for setting signal amplification for the subwoofer channel SUB. Set the amplification (GAIN) as required to between -60 dB and 6 dB with the EDIT rotary encoder. SUB VOLUME GAIN = 0.0 dB FRANCAIS DEUTSCH MAIN DISPLAY ESPAÑOL SUB MUTE Menu item for muting the subwoofer channel SUB. Select the desired setting with the EDIT rotary encoder (De-Mute = deactivate mute, Mute = activate mute). SUB MUTE [De-mute] SUB PHASE [0] SUB DELAY Menu item for setting the signal delay of the subwoofer channel SUB. Use the EDIT rotary encoder to select the desired value between 0 ms and 12.5 ms (in steps of 0.1 milliseconds). SUB DELAY Time = 0.0 ms DMX ITALIANO POLSKI SUB PHASE Menu item for setting the polarity of the subwoofer channel SUB. Select the desired setting with the EDIT rotary encoder (0 = normal polarity, 180 = inverted polarity). 6 ENGLISH SUB Limit Threshold Menu item to activate the limiter and set the threshold value for the subwoofer channel SUB. Activate the limiter and select the desired threshold value with the EDIT rotary encoder (Off = limiter deactivated, threshold value -40 dBu to 10 dBu). SUB Limit Threshold = Off DEUTSCH SUB Limit Hold Menu item for setting the limiter hold time for subwoofer channel SUB. Use the EDIT rotary encoder to select the desired hold time between 10 ms and 1000 ms. SUB Limit Hold = 100 FRANCAIS L&R VOLUME Menu item for setting the signal amplification for the channels left and right (L&R). Use the EDIT rotary encoder to set the amplification (GAIN) to between -60 dB and 6 dB. L&R VOLUME GAIN = 0.0 dB ESPAÑOL L&R PHASE Menu item for setting the polarity of the channels left and right (L&R). Select the desired settings with the EDIT rotary encoder (0 = normal polarity, 180 = inverted polarity). L&R PHASE [0] POLSKI L&R XOVER Menu item for activating and deactivating the crossover of the channels left and right (L&R). Select the desired setting with the EDIT rotary encoder (OFF = crossover deactivated, ON = crossover activated). ITALIANO L&R XOVER XOVER = OFF L&R DELAY Menu item for setting the signal delay of the channels left and right (L&R). Use the EDIT rotary encoder to select the desired value between 0 ms and 12.5 ms (in steps of 0.1 milliseconds). DMX L&R DELAY Time = 0.0 ms 7 ENGLISH DEUTSCH FRANCAIS L&R Limit Threshold Menu item for activating the limiter and setting the threshold value for the channels left and right (L&R). Activate the limiter and select the desired threshold value with the EDIT rotary encoder (Off = limiter deactivated, threshold value -40 dBu to 10 dBu). L&R Limit Threshold= OFF L&R Limit Hold Menu item for setting the limiter hold time for the channels left and right (L&R). Use the EDIT rotary encoder to select the desired hold time between 10 ms and 1000 ms. L&R Limit Hold = 100 PRESETS To load a preset, press RECALL, select the desired preset (P1 to P6) with the rotary encoder and confirm the selection by pressing RECALL. After a short loading time, the main display will reappear. The creation and naming of presets is possible with the PC software only. EDIT VIA PC SOFTWARE Install the device driver and the editing software on a Windows computer with a USB 2.0 (or higher) port. Connect the device to the computer with a suitable USB cable and switch it on. Start the computer Device Manager and check the COM port number of the “Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port” under “Ports (COM & LPT)”. The COM port number must be a number between 1 and 10 (in the example, COM6) in order to be able to create a connection between the computer and the device. DMX ITALIANO POLSKI ESPAÑOL RECALL PROGRAM P1: PRESET 1 Start the editing software, set the COM Port number used by the device under “Config” and “RS232” (in the example COM6) and then click OK. Tick the “Toolbar” box under “View” to display this, and then click on the red button to establish a connection (Connect). The “Disconnect” button will turn blue to confirm that a connection has been successfully established (“Connect” button is greyed out). The device’s display will now show “ONLINE PC CONTROL” and control via the operating panel is locked. To disconnect the device, click the “Disconnect” button. 8 ENGLISH ONLINE PC CONTROL DEUTSCH The overview window shows the editing options available for the channels left and right (LEFT, RIGHT), as well as for the subwoofer channel (SUB). Settings adjusted via the editing software are stored even if the device is restarted. However, we recommend saving individual settings as a preset (see “MANAGEMENT OF PRESETS”). FRANCAIS ESPAÑOL POLSKI Now click the “Gain”, “PEQ”, “Xover”, “Phase”, “Delay” or “Limit” button to open the editing window. Because editing occurs in real time, value adjustments, such as for the equalizer, can be heard immediately without any delay. Close the window by clicking on EXIT. Click ON to activate the High Pass and Low Pass filter (ticked box = activated, function not available for subwoofer channel (Sub Chan). 10 ENGLISH Filter characteristics Cut-off frequency DEUTSCH High Pass Low Pass FRANCAIS 4 3-BAND EQUALIZER 3-band fully parametric equalizer with bypass function for each band. Click the frequency, amplification or bandwidth button to open the edit window and make the required settings. Click FLAT to bypass the corresponding equalizer band (ticked box = bypass activated). Switching to the filter characteristics Low Shelf, High Shelf and Peak Filter requires amplification to be set to 0 dB (Set 0 dB button). 5 Level setting for the channels left and right / subwoofer channel ESPAÑOL Use the virtual fader to set the desired level, or enter the value directly in the input field via the keyboard (double click on the input field, enter value, press Enter). 6 MUTE Mute the channels left and right or the subwoofer channel. Click on MUTE to mute the corresponding channel (ticked box = mute activated) 7 180 POLSKI Set the polarity of the channels left and right, or the subwoofer channel. Click on 180 to invert the polarity of the corresponding channel (ticked box = inverted polarity). 8 Limit ITALIANO Activate the limiter and set the threshold value and hold time of the channels left and right, or the subwoofer channel. Activate the limiter and select the desired threshold value (Threshold) with the virtual arrow button, or enter the desired value directly in the input field via the keyboard (double click on input field, enter value, press Enter, off = limiter deactivated, threshold value -40 dBu to 10 dBu). Use the same procedure to set the limiter’s Hold Time (10–1000 ms). 9 Delay Set the signal delay for the channels left and right or the subwoofer channel. Select the signal delay with the virtual arrow button or enter the desired value directly in the input field (ms) via the keyboard (double click on the input field, enter value 0–12.5 ms in steps of 0.1 ms, press Enter). Input can also be entered into the input fields for distance in meters (m) or feet (ft). DMX 11 MANAGING PRESETS (Memory) Manage the presets by clicking on “Config” and “Memory” or the memory symbol “M” in the toolbar. Settings made in the editing window can now be named as a preset in one of the 6 memory slots on the device for future use. A maximum of 6 presets saved in this way can be saved together as a file on the computer. ESPAÑOL FRANCAIS DEUTSCH ENGLISH 10 OK Close the window by clicking OK. Make the desired settings as usual in the editing window. Once the process is completed, open the Memory preset window, use your computer mouse to select a free preset, click Store, name the preset as desired in the input field of the window that now opens and click on OK. Confirm the query “Do you want to overwrite?” by clicking on Yes. The settings and preset name are now stored on the device in the selected memory slot. The presets saved in this way can be selected and loaded directly from the device via the operating panel, without the need to connect it to a computer. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich stabile und passende Stative bzw. Befestigungen (bei Festinstallationen). Stellen Sie sicher, dass Wandhalterungen ordnungsgemäß installiert und gesichert sind. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät sicher installiert ist und nicht herunterfallen kann. 7. Beachten Sie bei der Installation die für Ihr Land geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften. 8. Installieren und betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Heizkörpern, Wärmespeichern, Öfen oder sonstigen Wärmequellen. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Gerät immer so installiert ist, dass es ausreichend gekühlt wird und nicht überhitzen kann. 9. Platzieren Sie keine Zündquellen wie z.B. brennende Kerzen auf dem Gerät. 10. Lüftungsschlitze dürfen nicht blockiert werden. 11. Halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 20 cm seitlich und oberhalb des Geräts ein. 12. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Wasser. Bringen Sie das Gerät nicht mit brennbaren Materialien, Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen in Berührung. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung vermeiden! 13. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass kein Tropf- oder Spritzwasser in das Gerät eindringen kann. Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Behältnisse wie Vasen oder Trinkgefäße auf das Gerät. 14. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass keine Gegenstände in das Gerät fallen können. 15. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit dem vom Hersteller empfohlenen und vorgesehenen Zubehör. 16. Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht und verändern Sie es nicht. 17. Überprüfen Sie nach dem Anschluss des Geräts alle Kabelwege, um Schäden oder Unfälle, z. B. durch Stolperfallen zu vermeiden. 18. Achten Sie beim Transport darauf, dass das Gerät nicht herunterfallen und dabei möglicherweise Sach- und Personenschäden verursachen kann. 19. BEI GERÄTEN MIT NETZANSCHLUSS 24. ACHTUNG: Wenn das Netzkabel des Geräts mit einem Schutzkontakt ausgestattet ist, muss es an einer Steckdose mit Schutzleiter angeschlossen werden. Deaktivieren Sie niemals den Schutzleiter eines Netzkabels. 25. Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht sofort ein, wenn es starken Temperaturschwankungen ausgesetzt war (beispielsweise nach dem Transport). Bevor Sie das Gerät an die Steckdose anschließen, prüfen Sie zuerst, ob die Spannung und die Frequenz des Stromnetzes mit den auf dem Gerät angegebenen Werten übereinstimmen. Verfügt das Gerät über einen Spannungswahlschalter, schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die Steckdose an, wenn die Gerätewerte mit den Werten des Stromnetzes übereinstimmen. Wenn das mitgelieferte Netzkabel bzw. der mitgelieferte Netzadapter nicht in Ihre Netzsteckdose passt, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Elektriker. 27. Treten Sie nicht auf das Netzkabel. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass spannungsführende Kabel speziell an der Netzbuchse bzw. am Netzadapter und der Gerätebuchse nicht geknickt werden. 28. Achten Sie bei der Verkabelung des Geräts immer darauf, dass das Netzkabel bzw. der Netzadapter stets frei zugänglich ist. Trennen Sie das Gerät stets von der Stromzuführung, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, oder Sie das Gerät reinigen möchten. Ziehen Sie Netzkabel und Netzadapter immer am Stecker bzw. am Adapter und nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose. Berühren Sie Netzkabel und Netzadapter niemals mit nassen Händen. 29. Schalten Sie das Gerät möglichst nicht schnell hintereinander ein und aus, da sonst die Lebensdauer des Geräts beeinträchtigt werden könnte. 30. Nach kurzer Ladezeit erscheint wieder die Hauptanzeige. Das Erstellen und Benennen eines Presets erfolgt ausschließlich per PC-Software. RECALL PROGRAM P1: PRESET 1 DEUTSCH EDITIEREN PER PC-SOFTWARE Installieren Sie Geräte-Treiber und Editier-Software auf einem Windows-Rechner mit USB 2.0 (oder höher) Schnittstelle. Schließen Sie nun das Gerät mit Hilfe eines geeigneten USB-Kabels am Rechner an und schalten es ein. Starten Sie den Geräte-Manager des Rechners und kontrollieren die COM-Port Nummer des "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port" unter "Anschlüsse (COM & LPT)". Die COM-Port Nummer muss eine Zahl von 1 bis 10 sein (im Beispiel COM6), um eine Verbindung zwischen Rechner und Gerät herstellen zu können. FRANCAIS ESPAÑOL POLSKI Starten Sie die Editier-Software und stellen unter "Config" und "RS232" die vom Gerät belegte COM-Port Nummer ein und klicken auf OK (im Beispiel COM6). Setzen Sie unter "View" einen Haken bei "Toolbar" um diese anzeigen zu lassen und klicken nun auf die rote Schaltfläche zum Verbindung Herstellen (Connect). Die Schaltfläche "Disconnect" (Verbindung trennen) wechselt ihre Farbe auf Blau, als Bestätigung für die erfolgreich hergestellte Verbindung (Schaltfläche "Connect" ausgegraut). Im Display des Geräts wird nun "ONLINE PC CONTROL" angezeigt und die Bedienung per Bedienpanel ist gesperrt. Zum Trennen der Verbindung klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche "Disconnect". ONLINE PC CONTROL ITALIANO DMX 19 ENGLISH ESPAÑOL FRANCAIS DEUTSCH Das Übersichtsfenster zeigt die Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten, die für die Kanäle links und rechts (LEFT, RIGHT), sowie für den Subwoofer-Kanal (SUB) zur Verfügung stehen. Einstellungen, die per Editier-Software getätigt wurden, bleiben auch nach einem Neustart des Geräts erhalten, es empfiehlt sich dennoch, individuelle Einstellungen als Preset zu sichern (siehe "VERWALTEN DER PRESETS"). Klicken Sie auf eine der Schaltflächen "Gain", "PEQ", "Xover", "Phase", "Delay" oder "Limit", um das Editier-Fenster zu öffnen. Die Eingabe kann ebenso in den Eingabefeldern für Distanz in Metern (M) oder in Fuß (Ft) erfolgen. 10 OK Um das Fenster zu schließen, klicken Sie auf OK. DEUTSCH VERWALTEN DER PRESETS (Memory) Zum Verwalten der Presets klicken Sie auf "Config" und "Memory" bzw. auf das Memory-Symbol M in der Toolbar. Einstellungen, die aktuell in den Editier-Fenstern vorgenommen wurden, können nun als Preset im Gerät auf einem der 6 Speicherplätze benannt und gesichert und später wieder aufgerufen werden. Diese maximal 6 so gesicherten Presets können als Ganzes in einer Computer-Datei auf dem Rechner gespeichert werden. FRANCAIS ESPAÑOL POLSKI Nehmen Sie Einstellungen wie gewohnt in den Editier-Fenstern wunschgemäß vor. Ist der Vorgang abgeschlossen, öffnen Sie das Preset-Fenster Memory, markieren mit Hilfe der Computermaus ein freies Preset, klicken auf Store, benennen das Preset nach Wunsch im Eingabefeld des nun geöffneten Fensters und klicken auf OK. ÉDITER PAR LOGICIEL PC Installez le pilote de l’appareil et le logiciel d’édition sur un ordinateur Windows avec port USB 2.0 (ou plus). Raccordez maintenant l’appareil à l’ordinateur au moyen d’un câble USB adapté et allumez-le. Démarrez le gestionnaire de périphériques de l’ordinateur et vérifiez le numéro de port COM du « Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port » sous « Ports (COM & LPT) ». Le numéro de port Com doit être un nombre entre 1 et 10 (par exemple COM6) pour pouvoir établir une liaison entre l’ordinateur et l’appareil. L’entrée peut être faite comme dans les champs de saisie pour la distance en mètres (m) ou en pieds (ft). 10 OK Pour fermer la fenêtre, cliquez sur OK. GESTION DES PRÉRÉGLAGES (Mémoire) DMX ITALIANO POLSKI Pour gérer les préréglages, cliquez sur « Config » et « Memory » ou sur le symbole de la mémoire M dans la barre d’outils. Les réglages qui ont été effectués actuellement dans les fenêtres d’édition peuvent maintenant être nommés en tant que préréglage dans l’appareil sur l’un des six emplacements de mémoire et sauvegardés et être appelés plus tard. POLSKI L'apparecchio compatibile con rack è perfetto per l'utilizzo durante esibizioni live come anche per installazioni fisse e offre funzioni equalizzatore, crossover, delay e limitatore regolabili individualmente. L'equalizzatore parametrico a 3 bande di LD DS21 offre una larghezza di banda variabile e un filtro passa alto e passa basso. Sono disponibili diversi filtri crossover tra cui Butterworth, Bessel e Linkwitz-Riley con valori di slope tra 6 dB e 24 dB. Il tempo di ritardo delle tre uscite può essere regolato individualmente su valori fino a 12,5 ms, mentre i valori del limitatore per Threshold e Hold Time possono essere configurati separatamente per i canali L/R e subwoofer. Trascorso un breve tempo di caricamento riappare la schermata principale. La creazione e denominazione di un preset sono possibili 64 esclusivamente tramite il software per PC. ENGLISH RECALL PROGRAM P1: PRESET 1 MODIFICA TRAMITE SOFTWARE PER PC DEUTSCH Installare i driver di periferica e il software di editing su un computer Windows con un’interfaccia USB 2.0 (o superiore). Collegare quindi il dispositivo al computer con un cavo USB adeguato e accenderlo. Avviare la Gestione dispositivi del computer e controllare il numero di porta COM di “Prolific USB-to-Serial Port Comm” alla voce “Porte (COM e LPT)”. Il numero di porta COM deve essere compreso tra 1 e 10 (nell’esempio COM6), per poter stabilire un collegamento tra computer e dispositivo. FRANCAIS ESPAÑOL POLSKI Avviare il software di editing e impostare il numero di porta COM occupato dal dispositivo alla voce “Config” e “RS232”, quindi cliccare su OK (nell’esempio COM6). Alla voce “View” (Visualizza) inserire un segno di spunta in corrispondenza di “Toolbar” (Barra degli strumenti) per poter visualizzare la barra degli strumenti e cliccare sul pulsante rosso per attivare il collegamento (Connect). Il pulsante “Disconnect” (Disconnetti) cambia colore diventando blu, a conferma del fatto che il collegamento è avvenuto correttamente (pulsante “Connect” grigio). Nel display del dispositivo viene ora visualizzato “ONLINE PC CONTROL” e l’utilizzo tramite il pannello di comando è bloccato. Per disconnettere il collegamento, cliccare sul pulsante “Disconnect”. ONLINE PC CONTROL ITALIANO La finestra panoramica mostra le opzioni di modifica disponibili per i canali sinistro e destro (LEFT, RIGHT) così come per il canale subwoofer (SUB). Le impostazioni effettuate tramite il software di editing rimangono invariate anche dopo il riavvio del dispositivo; si consiglia tuttavia di salvare le singole impostazioni sotto forma di preset (vedi “GESTIONE DEI PRESET”). Selezionare il ritardo del segnale mediante i tasti freccia virtuali oppure inserire il valore desiderato direttamente nell’apposito campo (mS) tramite tastiera (fare doppio clic sul campo, inserire il valore, da 0 ms a 12,5 ms in incrementi di 0,1 millisecondi, e premere Enter). L’immissione può essere effettuata anche nei campi relativi alla distanza in metri (M) o piedi (ft). 10 OK Per chiudere la finestra, cliccare su OK. 68 GESTIONE DEI PRESET (Memory) ENGLISH Per gestire i preset, cliccare su “Config” e “Memory” o sul simbolo Memory M nella Toolbar. Le impostazioni effettuate nelle finestre di editing possono ora essere salvate nel dispositivo come preset con un nome personalizzato su uno dei 6 spazi di memoria, per poter essere richiamate in seguito. I 6 preset così salvati possono essere memorizzati sul computer come un unico insieme all’interno di un file. DEUTSCH FRANCAIS ESPAÑOL Eseguire le impostazioni desiderate come di consueto nelle finestre di editing. Una volta terminata la procedura, aprire la finestra dei preset Memory, selezionare con il mouse un preset libero, cliccare su Store, denominare il preset come desiderato nel campo della finestra ora aperta, quindi cliccare su OK. Confermare ora la seguente domanda “Do you want to overwrite?” (Sovrascrivere il preset?) cliccando su Sì.
