OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This styling brush is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This
unit is designed to be operated at
120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.
GETTING STARTED
The brush’s 5 ultra-high heat temperature settings
and Instant Heat technology provide unique styling
versatility for all hair types. If you have fine hair,
a low temperature will provide the best results. If
you have thick, wavy or hard-to-curl hair, keep
the heat setting on high. You can vary the brush’s
temperature according to your particular need!
When iron is turned on, it will be at 285°F, the
lowest setting, which is labeled on the LED
display as POWER. If you wish to use the iron at
that setting, there is no need to adjust any
further. Keep it on the POWER
(285°F) setting.
STYLING WITH THE CERAMIC
EASY-GLIDE BARREL
The barrel of your new styling brush has a ce-
ramic easy-glide surface. The ceramic surface
helps smooth down flyaways and frizzies. It even-
ly distributes heat so that the style you create has
a salon-perfect, silky smooth, shiny finish.
The unique combination of heated ceramic and
silicone bristles provides better contact and supe-
rior styling for beautifully defined, lasting curls.
The metal bristles retain heat while styling, and
the silicone bristles stay cool for great curl results.
The ceramic technology is a pleasure to work with
and makes styling your hair easier and the results
more professional.
This means it’s not only simpler to clean off styling
product residue, etc., after each use, but you’ll
find that hair glides easily over the surface of the
barrel as you’re styling.
Never leave your curling brush on and unattended.
However, should you fail to turn it off, it will
shut itself off automatically within 60 minutes.
TO AVOID TANGLING, NEVER ROLL THE HAIR
AROUND THE HOT BRUSH MORE THAN TWO
TIMES. USE A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR AT
A TIME.

heat recovery system that maintains the hot brush

DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo solamente
con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este aparato ha sido
diseñado para funcionar con corriente de 120V AC.
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una clavija
polarizada (una pata es más ancha que la otra).
Como medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de
una sola manera en la toma de corriente polarizada.
Si no entrara en la toma de corriente, inviértala. Si
aún no entrara completamente, comuníquese con
un electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta función
de seguridad.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Este aparato con calentamiento instantáneo cuenta
con 5 opciones de temperatura ultra-alta, para
proporcionar mayor versatilidad durante el peinado,
para todo tipo de cabello. Si su cabello es fino, le
recomendamos que utilice un nivel de temperatura
bajo. Si su cabello es espeso, grueso, ondulado o
resistente, le recomendamos que utilice el nivel
de temperatura alto. ¡Personalice la temperatura,
según su tipo de cabello!
Al encender el aparato, “POWER” aparecerá en
la pantalla; esto corresponde al ajuste de
temperatura más bajo: 285 °F (140 °C). Si
desea usar esta temperatura, no es necesario
hacer ningún ajuste. Mantenga el aparato sobre
“POWER/285°F”.

Notará que el cabello se desliza fácilmente sobre
el revestimiento y que es muy fácil limpiar el aparato
después de cada uso.
Nunca descuide ni abandone el aparato después
de encenderlo. Para su seguridad, el aparato
se apagará automáticamente después de 60
minutos.

MAINTENANCE
Your hot brush is virtually maintenance free. No
lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and openings
clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning becomes neces-
sary, disconnect the hot brush from the power
source, let it cool, and wipe exterior with a cloth.
If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the hot
brush, allow it to cool, and return it for repair
to an authorized service center only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to
be pulled or twisted. Never wrap the cord around
the hot brush. Damage will occur at the high
flex point of entry into the hot brush, causing
it to rupture and short circuit. Inspect the cord
frequently for damage. Stop use immediately
if damage is visible or if unit stops or operates
intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance should be dis-
connected, allowed to cool, and stored in a safe,
dry location, out of reach of children. Do not jerk
or strain cord at plug connections. Do not wrap
the line cord around the appliance. Allow the
cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the point
of entry into the appliance.
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER
Everyone knows that electricity and water
are a dangerous combination. But did
you know that an electric appliance is still
electrically live even if the switch is off?
If the plug is in, the power is on. So when you are
not using your appliances, keep them unplugged.

Su aparato requiere poco mantenimiento.
