OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS

Standard dryers are designed to operate at
220V~.
SUPER STYLING GUIDE
Your best looks begin with a good haircut
that’s well maintained. Always treat hair well
with superior quality shampoos, conditioners,
and finishing products.
DRYING BASICS
1. Shampoo and condition hair with products
of your choice. Rinse thoroughly. Towel-blot
hair to remove excess moisture. Section
hair. Using the dryer along with your styling
brush, direct hot air through one section of
hair at a time. Move dryer steadily across
each section so that the hot air passes
through hair. Direct airflow at hair, not scalp.
2. Keep dryer’s air intake vents unobstructed
and free from hair while drying.
3. To avoid overdrying and possible damage to
hair or skin, do not concentrate heat on one
section for any length of time. Keep dryer
moving as you style.
4. For quick touch-ups between shampoos,
dampen hair with a mist of water before
styling with the dryer.
5. When using your dryer to create curls and
waves, dry hair almost completely on a
warmer temperature setting, then finish
styling with cooler air.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance free. No
lubrication is needed. The dryer must be kept
clean for proper operating performance. When
cleaning is needed, unplug the cord, allow to
cool, and clean dust and lint from air intake
openings with a small brush or the brush
attachment of a vacuum cleaner. The outer
surface of the dryer should be wiped clean
with a damp cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will
cause the dryer to overheat. If overheating
occurs, an automatic safety device will shut
the dryer or the heat off to prevent damage or
personal injury. If the unit or the heat cycles
off, turn the dryer off, unplug the cord, and
allow the dryer to cool for 10 to 15 minutes
before restarting. Make sure the air vents are
clean.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap
the cord tightly around the dryer. Damage will
occur at the high flex point of entry into the
dryer, causing it to rupture and short circuit.
Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop
use immediately if damage is visible or unit
stops or operates intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not
operate properly, return it for repair to place
of purchase or an authorized BaBylissPRO
service representative only. No repairs should
be attempted by the consumer.
STORAGE – IMPORTANT
When not in use, your dryer should be
disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a
safe, dry location, out of reach of children. Do
not wrap line cord around dryer. Allow the cord
to hang or lie loose and straight at the point of
entry into the dryer.

be very hot during use. Allow them to
cool before handling.
12. Do not place appliance on any surface
while operating.
13. While using the appliance, keep your hair
out of it. Keep your hair away from the
air inlets.
14. To prolong the life of the dryer, keep filters
clean of hair and dust.
15. Do not use with voltage converter.
16. If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.

NOTE: Clean the rear filter and inlet mesh
weekly with the dryer unplugged. Lint and
debris buildup can lead to a slowdown in
the dryer’s performance and can cause
the dryer to stop operating over time. If
the dryer stops operating, unplug the dryer
from the outlet. Remove the rear filter and
gently clean it and the outside of the inlet
mesh with your fingers or the included
brush.
WARNING: Do not attempt to remove the
inlet mesh. It is permanently attached.
If your dryer still does not operate after
gently cleaning the rear filter and inlet
mesh, do not attempt to use.

1. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced

GUÍA PARA UN SÚPER PEINADO
La mejor apariencia empieza por un corte de
cabello bien mantenido. Siempre cuide su
cabello con champúes, acondicionadores y
productos de peinado de calidad superior.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL SECADO
1. Lave y acondicione el cabello con los
productos deseados. Enjuague bien. Séquelo
con una toalla para eliminar el exceso
de agua. Divida el cabello en secciones.
Seque el cabello usando simultáneamente
la secadora y un cepillo. Coloque el cepillo
debajo de cada sección de cabello y dirija el
flujo de aire caliente hacia la parte superior
del cabello. Mueva el cepillo y la secadora
lenta y simultáneamente hasta las puntas.
Dirija el flujo de aire hacia el cabello, no
hacia el cuero cabelludo.
2. Mantenga las entradas de aire del aparato
sin obstrucciones y libres de cabello.
3. Para no dañar el cabello o la piel, no
concentre el flujo de aire en una
sección solamente; mueva la secadora
constantemente.
4. Para realizar retoques rápidos entre
lavados, rocíe un poco de agua sobre el

5. Cuando usa la secadora para crear rizos y
ondas, seque el cabello casi por completo,

INSTRUCCIONES DE
MANTENIMIENTO
Su secadora requiere poco mantenimiento.
No necesita lubricación. Para que funcione
correctamente, debe mantenerlo limpio.
Cuando sea necesario limpiarlo, desconéctelo,
permita que se enfríe y quite el polvo y las
pelusas de las aberturas de aire con un
cepillo pequeño o el cepillo accesorio de
una aspiradora. La superficie exterior de la
secadora solo se debe limpiar con un paño
limpio.
La secadora se sobrecalentará si las
aberturas de aire están bloqueadas u
obstruidas. En caso de que esto suceda, un
sistema de seguridad apagará el secador o
cortará la temperatura automáticamente para
evitar daños al aparato o lesiones personales.
En caso de que esto suceda, desenchufe
el aparato y permita que se enfríe por 10 a
15 minutos antes de encenderlo de nuevo.
Asegúrese de que las ventilaciones de aire
están limpias.
PRECAUCIÓN
NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable.
Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor del

NOTA: Limpie el filtro trasero y su malla
cada semana, cerciorándose de que
el aparato está desenchufado. Si se
acumulan pelusas y residuos en el filtro, el
rendimiento del secador puede disminuir
y, con el tiempo, el aparato puede dejar
de funcionar. Si el secador se apaga de
repente, desenchúfelo. A continuación,
retire el filtro trasero y limpie suavemente
este y su malla con los dedos o el cepillo de
limpieza provisto.
ADVERTENCIA: No intente quitar la malla
del filtro; está permanentemente fijada
al mismo. Si el aparato aún no funciona
después de limpiar suavemente el filtro y
su malla, no intente usarlo.

1. Los niños o las personas que carezcan
de la experiencia o de los conocimientos
necesarios para manipular el aparato,
