IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electric massager, especially when children are present, basic
precautions should always be taken, including the following:

THIS MASSAGER.
WARNING
– To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons:
1) Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
2) Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
3) This massager is not intended for use by, on, or near children or people with
certain disabilities.
4) Use this massager only for its intended use as described in this manual.
5) Keep the massager away from heated surfaces.
6) Never drop or insert any object into the massager.
7) To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove batteries
from massager.
8) Do not use in bed.
9) Never use while sleeping.
10) Never operate this massager if it is damaged, if it is not working properly,
or if it has been dropped into water. Return the massager to an
authorized service center for examination and repair.
11) Do not use near any sharp objects to prevent massager from being punctured.
12) CAUTION: CHOKING HAZARD. This is not a toy. Not to be used as a baby or
infant pillow. Do not open this massager for any reason. If this massager is
damaged or opened, discard immediately, out of reach of children.
13) This massager contains a lumbar belt which has sharp plastic nodes on one
side. Keep away from children and pets. Adults, use caution while handling.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
About this massager
Your Lumbar Belt Massager helps the body to stimulate energy. It can be used to
help ease tension and create deep relaxation. You may use the belt with or with-
out the vibration feature.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Insert Batteries
Before using your massager you must insert 2 AA batteries (not included). Unzip cover
to access the battery compartment. Insert batteries. Align positive (+) and negative
(-) as indicated inside the battery compartment. Close zipper.
Place the massager on affected area to be treated. You can sit against the massager
on a chair or sofa, but never sit directly on top of massager, as that could cause it
to malfunction.
To activate the vibration massage, simply press the ON/OFF button on the back
of the belt. (While the button is in the OFF position, you may use it without
vibration.) You may use it on your lumbar back for up to 20 minutes. As a new
user, you may want to use the lumbar belt over clothing. Once your body gets
used to the nodes, you may use it on bare skin. Place the belt on your body
with the nodes facing in, toward the body.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING BATTERIES
• Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the
intended use.
• Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or
rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
• Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period
of time.
• Remove used batteries promptly.
• If you will not be using the massage feature for more than a few days, please
remove batteries.
DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES
When replacing the batteries, make sure you dispose of the old batteries in accordance
with applicable regulations. They should be disposed of in a location specifically des-
ignated for that purpose so they can be recycled safely and without posing any risk for
the environment. Do not burn or bury them.
CAUTIONS
• This massager should not be used in the following cases: Tuberculosis, benign
and malignant tumors, hemorrhages, inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and
thrombosis, open and fresh wounds, bruises, broken skin or varicose veins,
undetermined calf pain or joint pain, or by persons with impaired sensitivity to
heat.
• Consult your physician should you have any questions regarding
therapeutic use of this massager. Use of this product is solely at the user’s
risk and Conair Corporation assumes no liability for any loss or injury.
• If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain or swollen muscles, or following a serious
muscular injury, before consulting your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of massager if pain increases or swelling occurs after application.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1) Store massager in a secure place away from excessive heat or sharp objects.
If you will not be using the vibration feature for more than a few days, please
remove batteries.
2) To clean the unit, remove the batteries and then wipe with a cloth. Do not use
any strong chemical cleaners such as benzine.
RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES
Generally, massage should not last more than 10 – 20 minutes on any one particular
part of the body. Treatment may be applied once or twice daily as desired.
As individuals’ metabolisms vary, so do their responses to massage. You will soon
adjust the time to suit your particular needs and personal comfort. If you have any
doubts regarding treatment, we recommend you consult your physician.

13) Este cinturón de masaje lumbar tiene nódulos plásticos puntiagudos en un lado.
Manténgalo fuera del alcance de los niños y de las mascotas. Adultos, tengan
cuidado al manipularlo.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
Instalación de las pilas
Su masajeador requiere dos pilas AA (no incluidas). Para instalar las pilas: abra el forro de
tela para acceder al compartimiento de las pilas. Instale las pilas en el compartimiento,
respetando los signos de polaridad +/- indicados en el mismo. Cierre el forro de tela.
Coloque el masajeador en la zona que desea masajear. Puede sentarse contra el
masajeador en una silla o sofá, pero nunca directamente encima del masajeador, ya que
esto podría causar un mal funcionamiento.
Para activar las vibraciones: oprima el botón ON/OFF situado en la parte trasera del
cinturón. (Nota: también puede usar el masajeador sin vibración, dejando el botón en
la posición de apagado.) Puede utilizar el cinturón en la zona lumbar hasta 20 minutos.
Si nunca ha usado este tipo de masajeador, es aconsejable utilizarlo por encima de la
ropa al principio. Una vez que su cuerpo se acostumbra a los nódulos, usted puede
usarlo directamente en la piel. Coloque el cinturón alrededor de la cintura con los
nódulos apuntando hacia el cuerpo.
INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIALES ACERCA DEL USO DE
LAS PILAS
• No utilice pilas que no sean del tamaño ni de la potencia indicados para uso
con este aparato.Cambie todas las pilas al mismo tiempo. No junte pilas
nuevas con pilas usadas. NO junte pilas alcalinas con pilas regulares
(carbono-zinc) o pilas/baterías recargables (níquel cadmio).
• Limpie los contactos del aparato y los de la(s) pila(s) antes de instalar esta(s).
• Siempre respete los signos de polaridad (+/-) al instalar la(s) pila(s).
• Saque la(s) pila(s) si no va a usar el aparato por un largo período de tiempo.
• Saque las pilas usadas sin demora.
• Retire pilas si no va a usar la función de masaje por varios días.
RECICLAJE DE LAS PILAS
Deseche las pilas usadas/gastadas de manera debida, conforme a las leyes vigentes.
Las pilas se deben tirar en un lugar específicamente designado para tal efecto, para
que sean recicladas de manera segura y respetando al medio ambiente. No las queme
ni las entierre.
PRECAUCIONES
• No utilice este producto si usted padece de cualquiera de los problemas siguientes:
tuberculosis, tumor benigno o maligno, hemorragia, inflamación de la piel, flebitis

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 12 months from the
date of purchase if the massager is defective in workmanship or materials. To obtain service
under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center listed below, together
with your purchase receipt and $7.50 for postage and handling. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH
DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY,
