2.1 Intended use
This egg cooker is only intended for cooking
and heating hens’ eggs. The egg cooker is not
intended for business or commercial use. Use
the egg cooker solely for private purposes; any
other use is deemed improper. In addition, the
egg cooker must not be used outside of closed
rooms or in regions with a tropical climate.
Please observe the national regulations and/or
laws in the respective country of use.

control system. Do not leave the egg cooker

Power cord
Always take hold of the power cord by the
plug and do not pull on the cord itself.
Ensure that the power cord does not come into
contact with any of the hot surfaces of the egg
cooker.
Do not use an adapter plug or extension
cable that does not meet the relevant safety
standards and do not perform any procedures
on the power cord yourself! If the power cord
is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, their service department or by a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid
hazards.
Extreme caution must be used when moving
an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
Power cord
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). To reduce the

risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit
into a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.

the risk resulting from becoming entangled in
or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be

Do not place the egg cooker, any items of
furniture or other heavy objects on the power
cord. Make sure that the cord is not bent.
Never make a knot in the power cord and do
not bundle it with other cords. The power
cable should be laid in such a way that no
one steps on it or is obstructed by it.
If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or
smells, switch off the egg cooker immediately
and remove the plug from the socket. If this
happens, you must stop using the egg cooker
until it has been checked by a specialist. In the
unlikely event of fire inside the appliance,
avoid inhaling any of the smoke produced by
this. Seek out medical assistance if you have
inhaled any such smoke. Inhaling smoke can
be harmful to your health.
The egg cooker must not be covered when in
use. There is a risk of fire!
Always place the egg cooker on an even,
heat-resistant surface and not in the vicinity of

heat sources and flammable materials, liquids
or gases. Leave at least a 6 in (15 cm) gap to
walls, otherwise there is a risk of fire!
In order to avoid hazards, the egg cooker
must not become damaged.
Make sure there are no naked flames (for
example, burning candles) placed on or near
the egg cooker. There is a risk of fire!
Do not leave the egg cooker unattended while
it is in use. Always switch the egg cooker off
when it is not in use and disconnect the plug
from the socket. Only put the egg cooker
away once it has cooled down completely.
There is a risk of fire!
Danger: Fire hazard! Never place the egg
cooker in the vicinity of or beneath flammable
materials such as curtains. Keep the device at
least 20 in (50 cm) away from flammable and
combustible materials.
Risk of injury! Use the egg cooker as intended.
Misuse of the device may result in injury.
Risk of burns! The temperature of the
contactable surfaces can get very hot during

operation. Furthermore, hot steam escapes
from the lid (1) during operation. Hot steam
can also escape when you remove the lid (1).
Use oven gloves or a cloth when lifting the lid
(1), egg holder (2) and lift them only by the
handles. Don´t reach over the top of the egg
cooker, steam will escape from the vents, the
lid (1), and the base unit. Keep hands, arms,
face, etc. clear of the escaping steam when
lifting the lid (1), egg holder (2).
Risk of burns! The temperature of the
contactable surfaces and heating tray can be
very hot after use. Let the egg cooker cool
down fully before you touch it.
Extreme caution must be used when moving
an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
Risk of injury! Take care when using the
measuring cup (6). There is an egg piercer (7)
on the bottom of the measuring cup (6).

The egg cooker must not be exposed to direct
sources of heat (for example, heaters), direct
sunlight or strong artificial light. Also avoid
contact with splashing and dripping water as
well as aggressive liquids. Do not operate the
egg cooker in the vicinity of water. In
particular, the egg cooker must never be
immersed (do not place any objects filled with
liquids, for example vases or drinks, on the
egg cooker). Also make sure that the egg
cooker is not exposed to excessive shocks and
vibrations. Furthermore, no foreign bodies
should penetrate into the device. This could
damage the egg cooker.
Fill the reservoir up to, but not over, the max
mark of the measuring cup (6). If you overfill,
boiling water may be ejected, and you may
damage the egg cooker.
Don´t use the egg cooker near or below
curtains, shelves, or cupboards as the
escaping steam may damage them.

6. Before initial use
Remove the egg cooker and all the accessories from the packaging.
Remove all packaging materials and check all parts for completeness and
for signs of damage. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact
the manufacturer.
Before using for the first time, clean the egg cooker and accessories as
described in the ‘Cleaning’ section.
7. Initial use
Place the egg cooker on a level, heat-resistant
surface. If the surface is sensitive to heat, put a
heat-resistant plate underneath the egg
cooker.
Risk of burns! The temperature of the
contactable surfaces can get very hot during
operation.
• Unwind the power cable from the cable rewind (5) on the underside
of the egg cooker. Then guide the power cord through the recess on
the back.
• Connect the plug to a power socket that is always easily accessible.
7.1 Cooking eggs
• Fill the measuring cup (6) with the required amount of water. The
amount of water depends on how hard you want the eggs to be and
on how many eggs you are cooking. Observe the scale and symbols
on the measuring cup (6) when doing this.

• Now pour the water from the measuring cup (6) into the heating tray
(3).
• Place the egg holder (2) onto the heating tray (3).
• Using the egg piercer (7), insert a hole in the large end of the eggs to
prevent them from bursting.
• Place the eggs into the egg tray with the pointed ends of the eggs
facing downwards (2).
• Place the lid (1) onto the egg holder (2).
• Press the operating switch (4) on the left-hand side . The control
light in the operating switch (4) lights up during operation.
• As soon as the eggs are ready, the egg cooker will beep.
• Press the operating switch (4) into the centre position to switch off the
egg cooker. The control light in the operating switch (4) will
disappear.
• Carefully remove the lid (1) facing away from you and let the steam
escape to the back.
• Take out the egg holder (2). Ensure to use the handles when doing so.
• run the eggs under cold, running water to prevent them from cooking
further.
• Clean the egg cooker as described in the ‘Cleaning’ section.
The amount of water required also depends on the size of the eggs. If
the eggs were not as hard or as soft as required, you will need to
deviate from the scale on the measuring cup (6) and fill with slightly
less or more water.
If the egg is too hard, you need to use less water. Fill the measuring
cup (6) with approximately one or two line measures less of water.
If the egg is too soft, you need to use more water. Fill the measuring
cup (6) with approximately one or two line measures more of water.

7.2 Keeping eggs warm
Use the keep-warm function for hard-boiled eggs only.
Do not pour water into the heating tray (3) to keep eggs warm.
• After cooking, press the operating switch (4) on the right-hand side
to keep the eggs warm. The control light in the operating switch
(4) lights up during operation.
• End the keep-warm function by pressing the operating switch (4) into
the centre position. The control light in the operating switch (4) will
disappear.
8. Cleaning and maintenance
8.1 Maintenance
Maintenance work is required if the egg cooker
has been damaged, liquids or objects have got
inside the device, the egg cooker has been
exposed to rain or moisture or if the egg cooker
is not functioning properly or has been
dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual
noises or smells, switch off the egg cooker
immediately and remove the plug from the
socket. If this happens, you must stop using the
egg cooker until it has been checked by a
specialist. All maintenance work should only be
carried out by qualified specialists. Never open
the housing of the egg cooker.

8.2 Cleaning
Remove the plug from the socket before
cleaning. There is a risk of electric shock!
Wait until the egg cooker has cooled down.
Otherwise there is a risk of burns!
The egg cooker may not be immersed in
water; there is a risk of electric shock!
To clean the housing, use a slightly damp cloth and never use solvents or
cleaning agents that react with plastics. Use some washing up-liquid on the
damp cloth for stubborn stains.
The cover (1), egg holder (2) and measuring cup (6) are suitable for
cleaning in a dishwasher up to 50°C.
8.3 Descaling
Limescale may build up in the heating tray (3) over time. This can lead to
loss of energy and shorten the egg cooker’s service life. You should
therefore remove the limescale as soon as it becomes visible.
• Use a descaling agent that is used for coffee machines and other
household devices. Proceed as described in the instructions for the
descaling agent.
• Rinse the heating tray (3) several times with plenty of clear water after
descaling it.
9. Storing the device when not in use
Disconnect the plug from the socket when you are not using the egg
cooker. Wrap the power cable onto the cable rewind (5) underneath the
egg cooker. Please make sure that the egg cooker is stored in a clean, dry
place away from direct sunlight.

The egg cooker is not working
• Check whether the plug is plugged into the socket correctly.
The eggs are too hard
• Use approximately one or two line measures less of water.
The eggs are too soft
• Use approximately one or two line measures more of water.
11. Environmental and waste disposal
information
Disposal of packaging
Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of
paperboard and cardboard with the recycled paper
service and wrappings with appropriate collection
service.
Disposing of used devices
Do not dispose of used devices together with household
waste! If at any time in the future you should not use this
device anymore, please dispose of it in compliance with the
applicable regulation in your state or country. This ensures
professional recycling of used devices and excludes negative
consequences for the environment.

What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
• Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
• Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the
safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as
switches, glass, etc.);
• Improper use or transport;
• Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;

Cable de alimentación

y desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente. En
estos casos no se deberá volver a utilizar el
hervidor de huevos hasta que un técnico
especializado lo haya revisado. No respire
nunca el humo de un posible incendio del
aparato. Si no pudiera evitar hacerlo, acuda
inmediatamente a un médico. La inhalación
de humo puede resultar perjudicial para la
salud.
El hervidor de huevos no se debe cubrir
mientras esté en funcionamiento. ¡Peligro de

Ponga siempre el hervidor de huevos sobre
una base plana y resistente al calor y nunca
cerca de fuentes de calor o materiales,
líquidos o gases inflamables. Deje al menos 6
in (15 cm) de distancia hacia las paredes.

acerque a la parte superior del hervidor de
huevos, sale vapor de las ventilas, la tapa (1)
y la base. Mantenga alejadas las manos, los
brazos, la cara, etc. del vapor que sale
cuando levante la tapa (1) y la huevera (2).
¡Peligro de quemaduras! Tras su uso, las
superficies exteriores y el recipiente de
cocción pueden alcanzar temperaturas muy
altas. Antes de tocar el hervidor de huevos
deje que se enfríe por completo.
Se debe tener precaución extrema al mover
un aparato que contenga aceite caliente o
otros líquidos calientes.

manipular el vaso medidor (6). La parte

contacto con agua que pueda salpicar o
gotear y con líquidos agresivos. No utilice el
hervidor de huevos cerca de agua. En
especial, se deberá evitar sumergir el hervidor
de huevos en cualquier líquido (no deje
objetos llenos de líquido, como jarrones o
bebidas, sobre el hervidor de huevos). Vigile
también que el hervidor de huevos no esté
expuesto a sacudidas o vibraciones muy
fuertes. No deben penetrar cuerpos extraños
en su interior. De lo contrario, el hervidor de
huevos podría resultar dañado.
Llene el depósito hasta la marca de máximo
en la taza medidora (6) sin superarla. Si lo
llena de más, puede salir agua hirviendo y
podría dañar el hervidor de huevos.
No use el hervidor de huevos cerca o debajo
de cortinas, estantes o alacenas ya que el
vapor que sale podría dañarlos.

6. Antes de poner en funcionamiento el aparato
Retire el hervidor de huevos y todos los accesorios del embalaje. Retire
todos los materiales de empaque y compruebe que todas las piezas se
hallen íntegras y no presenten daños. Si su material presenta daños o no
está completo, póngase en contacto con el fabricante.
Antes de usar el hervidor de huevos y sus accesorios por primera vez
límpielos tal y como se describe en el capítulo «Limpieza».
7. Puesta en funcionamiento
Coloque el hervidor de huevos sobre una
superficie plana y resistente a la temperatura.
En las superficies delicadas, coloque una
placa resistente al calor debajo del hervidor
de huevos.
¡Peligro de quemaduras! Durante el
funcionamiento, las superficies exteriores
pueden alcanzar temperaturas muy altas.
• Desenrolle el cable de alimentación situado en el enrollacables (5) de
la parte inferior del hervidor de huevos. A continuación, pase el cable
de alimentación a través de la muesca de la parte posterior.
• Conecte siempre el enchufe a una toma de corriente de fácil acceso.
7.1 Hervir huevos
• Llene el vaso medidor (6) con la cantidad necesaria de agua. La
cantidad de agua depende del grado de cocción que desee y del
número de huevos. Utilice la escala y los símbolos del vaso medidor
(6) para guiarse.

• Vierta ahora el agua del vaso medidor (6) en el recipiente de cocción
(3).
• Coloque el soporte para huevos (2) en el recipiente de cocción (3).
• Con el punzón para huevos (7) pinche un pequeño orificio en el lado
romo de los huevos para evitar que se resquebrajen.
• Coloque los huevos en el soporte para huevos (2) con la parte más
puntiaguda hacia abajo.
• Ponga la tapa (1) sobre el soporte para huevos (2).
• Pulse el interruptor de funcionamiento (4) del lado izquierdo . La
luz de control del interruptor (4) se ilumina durante el funcionamiento.
• Una vez que los huevos se hayan cocido, sonará una señal acústica.
• Pulse el interruptor de funcionamiento (4) en su posición central para
apagar el hervidor de huevos. La luz de control del interruptor de
funcionamiento (4) se apaga.
• Retire con cuidado la tapa (1), apartándola de usted, y deje que el
vapor salga hacia atrás.
• Saque el soporte para huevos (2). Sujételo por los asas.
• Pase los huevos por agua fría para evitar que sigan cociéndose.
• Limpie el hervidor de huevos como se describe en el capítulo
«Limpieza».
La cantidad de agua necesaria depende también del tamaño de los
huevos. Si no se ha alcanzado el grado de cocción deseado, deberá
añadir más o menos agua en función de la escala representada en
el vaso medidor (6).
Si el huevo ha quedado demasiado cocido, deberá utilizar menos
agua. Vierta aproximadamente una o dos marcas menos de agua en
el vaso medidor (6).
Si el huevo ha quedado demasiado poco cocido, deberá utilizar más
agua. Vierta aproximadamente una o dos marcas más de agua en el
vaso medidor (6).

7.2 Mantener los huevos calientes
Utilice la función de mantenimiento de temperatura solo con huevos
muy cocidos.
Para mantener los huevos calientes no vierta agua en el recipiente de
cocción (3).
• Tras la cocción, pulse el interruptor de funcionamiento (4) del lado
derecho para mantener los huevos calientes. La luz de control del
interruptor (4) se ilumina durante el funcionamiento.
• Finalice la función de mantenimiento de temperatura pulsando el
interruptor de funcionamiento (4) en su posición central. La luz de
control del interruptor de funcionamiento (4) se apaga.
8. Mantenimiento y limpieza
8.1 Mantenimiento
Es necesario realizar el mantenimiento del
hervidor de huevos cuando ha sufrido daños, si
han entrado líquidos o cuerpos extraños en el
interior de la carcasa, cuando el hervidor de
huevos ha estado expuesto a la lluvia o a la
humedad o cuando el hervidor de huevos no
funciona correctamente o se ha caído. Si
detecta humo, ruidos u olores extraños, apague
inmediatamente el hervidor de huevos y
desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente. En estos
casos no se deberá volver a utilizar el hervidor
de huevos hasta que un técnico especializado

lo haya revisado. Encargue los trabajos de
mantenimiento únicamente a técnicos
cualificados. No abra nunca la carcasa del
hervidor de huevos.
8.2 Limpieza
Desenchufe el calefactor antes de realizar la
limpieza. ¡Peligro de electrocución!
Espere a que se haya enfriado el hervidor de
huevos. De lo contrario, existe riesgo de
quemaduras.
El hervidor de huevos no se debe sumergir en
agua. ¡Riesgo de electrocución!
Utilice un paño suave ligeramente humedecido para limpiar la carcasa.
No aplique nunca disolventes ni limpiadores que dañen el plástico. En el
caso de haber restos de suciedad resecos, añada un poco de detergente
al paño humedecido.
La tapa (1), el soporte para huevos (2) y el vaso medidor (6) son aptos
para lavarse en lavavajillas hasta 50 °C.
8.3 Eliminar la cal
Con el tiempo es posible que se acumulen restos de cal en el recipiente
de cocción (3). Esto puede producir una pérdida energética y acortar la
vida útil del hervidor de huevos. Por ello, se recomienda eliminar las
acumulaciones de cal en cuanto estas sean visibles.
• Utilice un limpiador de cal apto para cafeteras y otros
electrodomésticos. Proceda tal y como se describa en las
instrucciones de uso del limpiador de cal.
• Tras limpiar los restos de cal, enjuague varias veces el recipiente de
cocción (3) con abundante agua fresca.

9. Almacenamiento cuando no se utiliza
Si no va a usar el hervidor de huevos, desconecte el enchufe de la toma
de corriente. Enrolle el cable de alimentación en el enrollacables (5)
situado en la parte inferior del hervidor de huevos. Asegúrese de guardar
el hervidor de huevos en un lugar limpio, seco y alejado de la luz solar
directa.
10. Solución de problemas
El hervidor de huevos no funciona
• Compruebe que el enchufe esté conectado correctamente a una toma
de corriente.
Los huevos están demasiado cocidos
• Utilice aproximadamente una o dos marcas menos de agua.
Los huevos están demasiado poco cocidos
• Utilice aproximadamente una o dos marcas más de agua.
11. Información medioambiental y sobre
eliminación de desechos
Eliminación del empaque
Separe el empaque antes de tirarlo. Tire la placa y la
caja de cartón en el contenedor para reciclaje de papel
y las envolturas en el contenedor adecuado.
Eliminación de aparatos usados
¡No tire el aparato usado con la basura común! Si en el
futuro ya no usara este aparato, elimínelo de acuerdo con
las normas correspondientes de su estado o país. Esto
garantiza que se realice un reciclaje profesional de los

Lo que no cubre esta garantía
La garantía no cubre daños causados por:
