Remove wood jamb block with a hook tool and dispose of properly. Wood jamb block is blind nailed from the back side.
Position new wood jamb block and fasten
with nish nails.

Cut off exposed nails and remove debris.

Unlock and open active sash to midpoint of window.
Unlock and open active sash to midpoint of window.
Remove frame weatherstrip from jamb kerf with pliers and save for
reuse.
Remove interior jamb cover with a hook tool
and dispose of properly. Interior jamb cover is
blind nailed from the back side.
Cut off exposed nails and remove debris. Position new interior jamb cover and fasten
with nish nails.
Insert frame weatherstrip into jamb kerf at head jamb liner and work
downward to sill. Press rmly to fully seat weatherstrip.
