1. Attach garden hose
adapter (B) to the pump
(A) discharge and then
connect garden hose (not
included) to adapter (B).
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN
THE GARDEN HOSE OR
HOSE ADAPTER. Hand
tight plus an additional
1/4 to 1/2 turn should be
sufcient.
2. Place pump
(A) in the water
on a hard
surface. Pump
(A) will operate
continuously
whether
partially or fully
submerged. Avoid
placing pump (A)
directly on sand,
dirt, or mud.
3. Plug pump (A)
into a properly
grounded 115 V
AC power outlet.
4. Pump (A) has an
air valve to prevent
air-locking. Air-
locking will keep
pump (A) from
pumping water.
A small spray of
water from the air
valve is normal and
does not represent
a defective pump.
5. When the water
level at bottom of
pump (A) drops
to approximately
3/16 in., pump (A)
will continue to run
but will stop mov-
ing water. Unplug
pump (A) when
water stops owing
from the hose.
6. DO NOT RUN
DRY. Running
pump (A) when it
is not submerged
in water will
damage the seal
and impeller,
and void the
warranty.

1. Fije el adaptador de manguera
para jardín (B) a la descarga de
la bomba (A) y luego conecte
la manguera para jardín (no se
incluye) en el adaptador (B).
NO APRIETE DEMASIADO
LA MANGUERA PARA
JARDÍN NI EL ADAPTADOR
PARA MANGUERA. Un
apriete a mano más 1/4 a 1/2
giro adicional deberían ser
sucientes.
2. Coloque la bomba (A)
en el agua sobre una
supercie dura. La
bomba (A) funcionará
continuamente ya sea
estando completa
o parcialmente
sumergida. Evite
colocar la bomba (A)
directamente sobre
arena, tierra o lodo.
3. Conecte la
bomba (A) a un
tomacorriente de
115 V CA con la
debida puesta a
tierra.
4. La bomba (A) tiene una
válvula de aire para
evitar el bloqueo de
aire. Un bloqueo de aire
evitará que la bomba
(A) bombee agua. Es
normal que haya un
pequeño rocío de agua
desde la válvula de aire
y no representa una
bomba defectuosa
6. NO HAGA
FUNCIONAR LA
BOMBA EN SECO.
Hacer funcionar la
bomba (A) cuando
la bomba no está
sumergida en agua
dañará el sello y
el impulsor, lo que
anulará la garantía.
