Your new alarm is designed so that it can be armed and disarmed using a factory programmed remote control. The Wireless Alarm is powered using 4 “AA”
alkaline batteries (not supplied). If activated and motion is detected, there will be a delay of 10 seconds before the siren sounds. The siren will sound for 60
seconds before the alarm automatically resets. If movement continues, the siren will sound for another 60 seconds, until the alarm is deactivated using the
correct Remote Control.
BATTERY INSTALLATION (SEE FIGURES BELOW)
Access the battery compartment on the rear of the unit by removing the back cover. Press on the upper
center part of the cover and slide it down. Insert four (4) “AA” batteries (not included) following the polarity
diagram. When the last battery is inserted, the Status LED will flash and the LED will flash to indicate the
batteries are installed properly. Replace the battery compartment cover. The Siren will chirp every
10-15 seconds when the batteries need replacing. AC accessory SP550B can be used instead of batteries.
Output plug must be inserted into AC power plug, located above in left upper corner of battery
compartment.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage of the device.
3. Do not mix different type of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with
fresh ones.
4. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent
damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and rupture. (Follow
battery manufacturer’s directions.)
6. Will not function properly if batteries are not maintained. Check performance regularly.
NOTE: Not intended for use in exposed outdoor applications. Will not operate properly if
used in below freezing temperatures (32˚F) or damp locations.
INSTALLATION
The unit is designed to be either free standing or wall mounted.
WALL MOUNTING
1. Choose the desired location, remove the back plate.
2. Using the screws provided secure the plate to the wall (see diagram).
3. Clip the unit on to the back plate ensuring that the batteries are
fitted correctly.
4. Secure the unit to the back plate by fastening the screw on the
bottom of the unit.
PROGRAMMING THE ALARM
1. Remove battery compartment cover, remove batteries.
2. Locate the IR Remote Control programmable switch and set 4
switches at desirable positions.
3. To use the Alarm unit in combination with RF Siren Speaker Unit,
locate the RF Siren Speaker programmable switch and set 3
switches to match the 3 dip switch settings of the SP210B.
4. Replace batteries and battery compartment cover.
INSTALLATION
The unit is designed to be either free standing or wall mounted.
For wall mounting place the unit in the desired location, preferable next to the front or
back door. Install the unit using the supplied screw (see figure at right.)
OPERATION
Arming the Alarm
When leaving the protected area, point the Remote Control at the
Motion Detector unit and press the “ARM/DISARM” button. The
Battery Status LED will flash and the Siren will chirp to indicate the unit
is armed. There will be a delay of 30 seconds to enable you to leave
the protected area before the alarm sounds. When motion is detected,
the alarm will sound.
WARNING: THE ALARM SIREN IS VERY LOUD; PLEASE DO NOT
ALLOW IT TO SOUND FOR VERY LONG LENGTHS OF TIME.
Disarming Alarm
When returning to the protected area, simply point the Remote Control
at the Motion Detector unit and press the “ARM/DISARM: button. This will
disarm the unit. The 10 seconds delay enables you to get to the alarm
before it sounds.
NOTE: When the button is pressed, the Battery Status LED will flash
and the Siren will chirp to indicate the unit is disarmed.
WARNING: NOT INTENDED FOR USE AS A RESIDENTIAL WATER
HAZARD ENTRANCE ALARM.
Range of detection
The Motion Detector has a 30-foot range, with approximate 120
degrees angle of coverage.
Care and Maintenance
To clean the unit housing use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water
and wipe dry. Do not use chemical agents as this may damage and
discolor the unit.

INSTALACIÓN
La unidad está diseñada para funcionar de forma independiente o
montada en la pared.
MONTAJE EN LA PARED
1. Escoja el lugar deseado, quite la placa trasera.
2. Sujete la placa a la pared usando los tornillos proporcionados
(vea el diagrama).
3. Cuelgue la unidad en la placa trasera asegurándose de que las
pilas estén bien encajadas.
4. Sujete la unidad a la placa trasera sujetando el tornillo en la parte
inferior de la unidad.
PROGRAMACIÓN DE LA ALARMA
1. Quite la tapa del compartimiento de las pilas y saque las pilas.
2. Localice el interruptor programable de control remoto de los
rayos infrarrojos. Y ajuste los 4 interruptores en las posiciones
deseadas.
3. Para usar la unidad de alarma en combinación con la unidad de
altavoz de sirena de radiofrecuencia, localice el interruptor
programable del altavoz de la sirena de radiofrecuencia y ajuste los 3
interruptores de modo que correspondan con los 3 ajustes de interruptores dip
del SP210B.
4. Vuelva a colocar las pilas y la tapa del compartimiento de las pilas.
INSTALACIÓN
La unidad está diseñada para funciona de forma independiente o montada en la
pared. Para montar en la pared, coloque la unidad en el lugar deseado,
preferiblemente junto a la puerta delantera o trasera. Instale la unidad usando el
tornillo suministrado (vea la figura de la derecha).
Su nueva alarma está diseñada de modo que pueda armarse y desarmarse usando un control remoto programado en fábrica. La alarma
inalámbrica está alimentada por medio de 4 pilas alcalinas “AA” (no se incluyen). Si se activa y detecta movimiento, se producirá un retraso de
10 segundos antes de que suene la alarma. La sirena sonará durante 60 segundos antes de que se reajuste automáticamente la alarma. Si
continúa el movimiento, la sirena sonará durante otros 60 segundos, hasta que se desactive usando el control remoto correcto.
INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS (VEA LAS FIGURAS SIGUIENTES)
El acceso al compartimiento de las pilas se logra por la parte de atrás de la unidad quitando la tapa trasera.
Ejerza presión sobre la parte central superior de la tapa y deslícela hacia abajo. Inserte cuatro (4) pilas “AA”
(no se incluyen) siguiendo el diagrama de polaridad. Cuando se introduzca la última pila, destellará el LED de
estado. El LED destellará para indicar que las pilas están bien instaladas. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del
compartimiento de las pilas. La sirena emitirá un pitido cada 10-15 segundos cuando haya que reemplazar
las pilas. Se puede usar el accesorio de CA SP550B en vez de pilas. El enchufe de salida debe introducirse
en el enchufe de CA, ubicado por encima de la esquina superior izquierda del compartimiento de las pilas.
PRECAUCIOINES CON LAS PILAS
Siga estas precaucones cuando use pilas en este dispositivo:
1. Use sólo pilas del tamaño y tipo especificados.
2. Asegúrese de seguir la polaridad correcta al instalar las pilas según se indica en el compartimiento. Las
pilas cambiadas de posición pueden dañar el dispositivo.
3. No mezcle diferentes tipos de pilas (por ejemplo alcalinas y carbón-zinc) o pilas viejas con pilas nuevas.
4. Si no se va a usar el dispositivo durante un período largo, quite las pilas para impedir daños o lesiones
debido a posibles fugas de las pilas.
5. No trate de recargar las pilas que no sean recargables, ya que se pueden recalentar y estallar. (Siga las
instrucciones del fabricante de pilas).
6. No funcionará bien si no se efectúa el mantenimiento de las pilas. Compruebe el rendimiento con regularidad.
NOTA : No es para aplicaciones exteriores al descubierto. No funcionará debidamente si se usa a temperaturas inferiores a la congelación (32°F; 0°C) o en lugares húmedos.
OPERACIÓN
Armado de la alarma
Cuando salga del área protegida, apunte el control remoto a la
unidad del detector de movimiento y pulse el botón
“ARMAR/DESARMAR”. El LED de baja de las pilas destellará y la
sirena emitirá un pitido para indicar que la unidad está armada.
Habrá un retraso de 30 segundos para poder salir del área protegida
antes de que suene la alarma. Cuando se detecte movimiento, la
alarma sonará.
ADVERTENCIA: LA SIRENA DE LA ALARMA TIENE UN VOLUMEN
MUY ALTO. NO DEJE QUE SUENE DURANTE MUCHO TIEMPO.
ADVERTENCIA: ESTA ALARMA DE ENTRADA PELIGROSA DE AGUA
NO ESTÁ DIEEÑADAS PARA SER USADA EN APLICACIONES
RESIDENCIALES.
Desarmado de la alarma
Al volver al área protegida, apunte simplemente el control remoto a
la unidad del detector de movimiento y pulse el botón
“ARMAR/DESARMAR”. Esto desarmará la unidad. El retraso de 10
segundos permite que llegue a la alarma antes de que suene.
NOTA: Cuando se pulsa el botón, destellará el LED de estado de la
pila y la sirena emitirá un sonido para indicar que la unidad está
desarmada.
Radio de detección
El detector de movimiento tiene un radio de detección de 30 pies
(9 m), con un ángulo de cobertura aproximado de 120 grados.
Cuidado y mantenimiento
Para limpiar la caja de la unidad, use un paño suave ligeramente
humedecido con agua y limpie hasta secar. No use agentes químicos, ya
que esto puede dañar y hacer perder el color a la unidad.
