Do not attempt to charge this appliance
with any other charger. Likewise, do not
attempt to use this charger with any other
product.
14. Do not use an extension cord. Plug the
charger directly into an electric outlet.

15. Only plug the power plug into an easily
accessible power socket so that you can
pull it out of the power socket quickly in
an emergency.
16. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table
or counter. Do not let the cord touch hot
surfaces, including the stove.
17. Pull the power adapter from the power
socket if a defect occurs, before cleaning the
appliance and after every use.
18. Except when charging, always unplug this
appliance from the electrical outlet immedi-
ately after using.
19. Do not use attachments that were not
specified by the manufacturer. The use of
attachments not recommended or sold by
the manufacturer may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.
20. Do not use the appliance with a defective
cutting unit or long hair trimmer because
these may have sharp edges. There is a risk
of personal injury!

Unpacking
► Packaging materials are not children’s toys. Therefore,
children must not be allowed to play with them.
There is a risk of suffocation!
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating
instructions from the box.
♦ Remove all packaging material from the appliance.
►If the delivery is incomplete or damage occurred as
a result of defective packaging or during transport,
please contact the customer service hotline (see
section about “3 year limited warranty”).

Charging the battery
The battery should be charged for at least 60 minutes
before first use.
♦ Ensure that the appliance is switched off before
charging the battery.
♦ Plug the connector w into the power connection 0
on the shaver.
♦ Plug the power adapter q into a power socket that
complies with the appliance specifications. While the
battery is charging, the red charge indicator light
8 flashes.
♦ When the battery is fully charged, the blue control
light 7 lights up. Disconnect the product from
the power supply.
♦ Once the battery is fully charged, you can use the
appliance for around 60 minutes without connecting
it to the power supply.
♦ If the red charge indicator light 8 flashes, the battery
charge level is too low. Recharge the battery in this case.
Fitting/removing the protective cap
♦ When you are not using the shaver, protect the
shaving head by putting on the protective cap 1.
♦ Remove the protective cap 1 by pulling it
downwards off the cutting unit 2.

Cordless shaving
► This appliance is not suitable for wet shaving!
This shaver can be used without the power cable. In this
case, you must charge the appliance before first use
(see section "Charging the battery").
♦ Ensure the cutting unit 2 is attached and locked in
place.
♦ Remove the protective cap 1.
♦ Press the On/Off switch 6 to switch on the
appliance. The blue control light 7 lights up.

►The best results are achieved if used on dry skin.
►It can take 2 to 3 weeks until the skin is accustomed
to the dry shaving system.
♦ Move the shaving heads with straight and circular
motions over the skin.
♦ After you have covered all the areas you want to
shave, use the On/Off switch 6 again to turn off
the appliance. The blue control light 7 goes out.
♦ Clean the shaver after every use with the supplied
brush e. For a more thorough cleaning, read the
section "Cleaning and maintenance".
Shaving with power supply voltage
To reduce the risk of electric shock:
► Do not use while bathing or in a shower. This appliance
is not suitable for wet shaving!
If you want to use the shaver without previously
charging it, you can also use it directly with a power
supply:
♦ Plug the connector w into the power connection 0
on the shaver.

♦ Plug the power adapter q into a power socket that
complies with the appliance specifications.
While the battery is charging, the red charge indicator
light 8 flashes.
You can then use the shaver as described in the section
"Cordless shaving".
Trimmer/long hair trimmer
To shape your beard, form sideburns or shave eyebrows,
use the long hair trimmer 4.
♦ To do this, push the catch 5 towards the long hair
trimmer 4. The long hair trimmer 4 flips out.
♦ Press the On/Off switch 6. The shaver starts the
cutting unit 2 and the long hair trimmer 4, the blue
control light 7 lights up.
♦ Once you have finished trimming, press the On/Off
switch 6 again to turn off the appliance.
The blue control light 7 goes out.
♦ Clean the long hair trimmer 4 with the supplied
brush e. For a more thorough cleaning, read the
section "Cleaning and maintenance".

Cleaning and maintenance
► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power
adapter q from the power socket! There is a risk of
electric shock!
► Do not use abrasive, chemical or caustic cleaning
agents to clean this appliance. This will irreparably
damage the appliance!
Cleaning with the brush
Cutting unit
Clean the 3 shaving heads of the cutting unit 2 after
every shave using the brush e.
♦ Take hold of the cutting unit 2 with three fingers in
the grip recesses 3 and pull it off.
♦ Tap the cutting unit 2 on a flat surface or blow off
the hair cuttings.
♦ Use the brush e to remove any remaining hair
cuttings.
♦ Replace the cutting unit 2 flush on the appliance.
Ensure that it snaps into place and is seated firmly.

Long hair trimmer
■ Clean the long hair trimmer 4 after every use with
the supplied brush e.
■ Oil the long hair trimmer 4 around every 6 months
with a drop of sewing machine oil.
Cleaning under running water
♦ Take hold of the cutting unit 2 with three fingers in
the grip recesses 3 and pull it off.
♦ Hold the cutting unit 2 under the running water so
that the water flows through the shaving heads from
the inside to the outside.
► Hold only the cutting unit 2 under running water! The
shaver handset can be damaged beyond repair if it is
held under running water.
♦ Allow the cutting unit 2 to dry.
♦ Replace the cutting unit 2 flush on the appliance.
Ensure that it snaps into place and is seated firmly.
Thorough cleaning
To clean the appliance thoroughly, disassemble the
three cutting heads:

♦ Take hold of the cutting unit 2 with three fingers in
the grip recesses 3 and pull it off:
♦ Press the two protruding tabs together and release
the black retainers from the catches:

You can now remove the cutting heads and the blades.
♦ Clean all parts under running water and then allow
them to dry fully.
♦ Reassemble the cutting unit 2. Use the following
illustrations for guidance:
–Place the three shaving heads in the recesses of
the cutting unit 2. Ensure that the notches on the
edge of the shaving heads rest on the catches in
the opening.
–Place the round blades into the shaving heads with
the blade tips to the front.

♦ Press the two tabs of the retainers together and place
them back into the catches of the cutting unit 2 and
release the tabs. The cutting unit 2 is now reassem-
bled.
♦ Remove loose hairs from the shaver with the brush e.
♦ Replace the cutting unit 2 on the shaver. Ensure that
it snaps into place and is seated firmly.
♦ Clean the housing with a damp cloth.
Travel lock
This appliance features a travel lock. You can lock the
On/Off switch 6 to prevent accidental starting:
Press and hold the On/Off switch 6 for around
3 seconds, until the symbol 9 lights up blue.
The On/Off switch 6 is now locked.
To unlock the appliance, press and hold the On/Off
switch 6 for around 3 seconds, until the symbol 9
lights up blue five times.
►If you attempt to switch the appliance on while the
travel lock is activated, the symbol 9 lights up
blue once. The appliance will not start.

Storage
► Never store the shaver in the case r while the appli-
ance is charging. Risk of overheating!
♦ Always replace the protective cap 1 onto the cutting
unit 2 when you are not using the appliance.
♦ Store the cleaned and dried appliance and its acces-
sories in the supplied case r.
♦ Store everything in a clean, dust-free and dry place.
Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
Electrical appliances must not be thrown away as part
of normal household trash. If you can no longer use
your electrical appliance, dispose of it in accordance
with the legal provisions applicable in your state.
This will ensure that old electrical appliances are recy-
cled and environmental pollution is kept to a minimum.

►The integrated rechargeable battery in this appliance
cannot be removed for disposal. When disposing of
the appliance, indicate that the appliance contains
batteries.
Disposal of the packaging
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally

them as necessary. The packaging materials
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with the following meanings:

Carga de la batería
La batería debe cargarse durante al menos 60 minutos
antes del primer uso.
♦ Asegúrese de que el dispositivo esté apagado antes
de cargar la batería.
♦ Conecte el conector w en la conexión de energía 0
en la máquina de rasurar.
♦ Conecte el adaptador de corriente q en una toma
de corriente que cumpla con las especificaciones del
dispositivo. Mientras la batería se está cargando, la
luz roja indicadora de carga 8 parpadea.
♦ Una vez que la batería está completamente cargada,
la luz azul de control 7 se ilumina. Desconecte
el producto de la fuente de alimentación.
♦ Una vez que la batería está completamente cargada,
puede usar el dispositivo durante unos 60 minutos
sin conectarlo a la fuente de alimentación.
♦ Si la luz roja indicadora de carga 8 parpadea,
el nivel de carga de la batería está demasiado bajo.
En este caso, vuelva a cargar la batería.

Colocación y retiro de la tapa protectora
♦ Cuando no use la máquina de rasurar, proteja la
cabeza de esta con la tapa protectora 1.
♦ Para quitar la tapa protectora 1, jálela
hacia abajo de la unidad de corte 2.
Rasurado inalámbrico
► ¡Este dispositivo no es adecuado para rasurado
húmedo!
Esta máquina de rasurar puede usarse sin el cable de
alimentación. En este caso, se debe cargar el disposi-
tivo antes del primer uso (vea la sección "Carga de la
batería").

♦ Asegúrese de que la unidad de corte 2 esté
colocada y asegurada en su lugar.
♦ Retire el tapa protectora 1.
♦ Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado 6
para encender el dispositivo. La luz azul de control
7 se ilumina.
►Los mejores resultados se obtienen si se usa en piel
seca.
►Puede tardar de 2 a 3 semanas para que la piel se
acostumbre al sistema de rasurado en seco.
♦ Mueva las cabezas de rasurar en movimientos
rectos y circulares sobre la piel.
♦ Una vez que haya cubierto todas las zonas que
desee rasurar, use el botón de encendido/apagado
6 nuevamente para apagar el dispositivo.
La luz azul de control 7 se apaga.
♦ Limpie la máquina de rasurar después de cada uso
con el cepillo e incluido. Para hacer una limpieza
más exhaustiva, lea la sección "Limpieza y
mantenimiento".

Rasurado con voltaje de la fuente de
alimentación
Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica:
► No lo use mientras se baña en una regadera o tina.
¡Este dispositivo no es adecuado para rasurado húme-
do!
Si desea usar la máquina de rasurar sin cargarla pre-
viamente, también puede usarla directamente con una
fuente de alimentación:
♦ Conecte el conector w en la conexión de energía 0
en la máquina de rasurar.
♦ Conecte el adaptador de corriente q en una toma
de corriente que cumpla con las especificaciones
del dispositivo.
Mientras la batería se está cargando, la luz roja
indicadora de carga 8 parpadea.
Entonces puede usar la máquina de rasurar como se
describe en la sección "Rasurado inalámbrico".

Recortador/recortador de vello largo
Para dar forma a la barba, formar las patillas o rasurar
las cejas, use el recortador de vello largo 4.
♦ Para hacer esto, empuje el retén 5 hacia el recorta-
dor de vello largo 4. El recortador de vello largo 4
se despliega.
♦ Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado 6.
La máquina de rasurar enciende la unidad de corte
2 y el recortador de vello largo 4, y la luz azul de
control 7 se ilumina.
♦ Cuando haya terminado el recorte, presione el botón
de encendido/apagado 6 nuevamente para
apagar el dispositivo. La luz azul de control 7
se apaga.
♦ Limpie el recortador de vello largo 4 con el cepillo
e incluido. Para hacer una limpieza más exhaustiva,
lea la sección "Limpieza y mantenimiento".
Limpieza y mantenimiento
► ¡Antes de limpiar el dispositivo, desconecte el adapta-
dor de corriente q de la toma de corriente! ¡Existe el
riesgo de descarga eléctrica!

► No use agentes de limpieza abrasivos, químicos o
cáusticos para limpiar este dispositivo. ¡Esto dañará
irreparablemente el dispositivo!
Limpieza con el cepillo
Unidad de corte
Limpie las tres cabezas de rasurado de la unidad de
corte 2 después de cada rasurado con el cepillo e.
♦ Sostenga la unidad de corte 2 con tres dedos en
la depresión de agarre 3 y jálela para extraerla.
♦ Golpee ligeramente la unidad de corte 2 en una
superficie plana o sople los recortes de vello.
♦ Con el cepillo e, remueva cualquier recorte de
vello que quede.
♦ Vuelva a colocar la unidad de corte 2 a ras en el
dispositivo. Asegúrese de que se inserte en su posi-
ción y que se apoye firmemente.
Recortador de vello largo
■ Limpie el recortador de vello largo 4 después de
cada uso con el cepillo e incluido.
■ Lubrique el recortador de vello largo 4 aproxima-
damente cada 6 meses con una gota de aceite de
máquina de coser.

Limpieza bajo el chorro de agua
♦ Sostenga la unidad de corte 2 con tres dedos en la
depresión de agarre 3 y jálela para extraerla.
♦ Sostenga la unidad de corte 2 debajo del chorro
de agua de manera que el agua corra a través de
las cabezas de rasurar desde adentro hacia afuera.
► ¡Sostenga solo la unidad de corte 2 bajo el chorro
de agua! El mango de la máquina de rasurar puede
dañarse irreparablemente si se sostiene bajo el chorro
de agua.
♦ Permita que la unidad de corte 2 se seque.
♦ Vuelva a colocar la unidad de corte 2 a ras en el
dispositivo. Asegúrese de que se inserte en su posi-
ción y que se apoye firmemente.
Limpieza a fondo
Para limpiar el dispositivo completamente, desensamble
las tres cabezas de corte:
♦ Sostenga la unidad de corte 2 con tres dedos en la
depresión de agarre 3 y jálela para extraerla:

♦ Presione las dos pestañas salientes juntas y libere los
retenedores negros de los retenes:

♦ Limpie las partes bajo el chorro de agua y luego
déjelas secar completamente.
♦ Vuelva a ensamblar la unidad de corte 2. Use las
siguientes ilustraciones como guía:
–Coloque las tres cabezas de rasurar en la depre-
sión de la unidad de corte 2. Asegúrese de que
las muescas del borde de las cabezas de rasurar
se apoyen en los retenes de la abertura.
–Coloque las navajas redondas en las cabezas
de rasurar con las puntas de las navajas hacia el
frente.
♦ Presione juntas las dos pestañas de los retenedores
y vuelva a colocarlas en los retenes de la unidad de
corte 2 y libere las pestañas. La unidad de corte 2
ha quedado ensamblada nuevamente.

♦ Elimine los vellos sueltos de la máquina de rasurar
con el cepillo e.
♦ Vuelva a colocar la unidad de corte 2 en la máquina
de rasurar. Asegúrese de que se inserte en su posi-
ción y que se apoye firmemente.
♦ Limpie la carcasa con una tela húmeda.
Seguro para viaje
Este dispositivo tiene un seguro para viaje. Usted puede
bloquear el botón de encendido/apagado 6 para
prevenir el arranque accidental:
Presione y sostenga el botón de encendido/apagado
6 durante unos 3 segundos hasta que el símbolo
9 se ilumine en color azul.
El interruptor de encendido/apagado 6 ahora está
bloqueado.
Para desbloquear el dispositivo, presione y mantenga
así el interruptor de encendido/apagado 6 durante
unos 3 segundos hasta que el símbolo 9 se ilumine
en color azul cinco veces.
►Si intenta encender el dispositivo mientras el interruptor
para viaje está activado, el símbolo 9 se ilumina
en color azul una vez. El dispositivo no arranca.

Almacenamiento
► Nunca guarde la máquina de rasurar en el estuche r
mientras se está cargando. ¡Riesgo de sobrecalenta-
miento!
♦ Cuando no use el dispositivo, coloque siempre
la tapa protectora 1 en la unidad de corte 2.
♦ Guarde el dispositivo limpio y seco con sus acceso-
rios en el estuche r incluido.
♦ Guarde el dispositivo en un lugar limpio, sin polvo y
seco.
Eliminación
Eliminación del dispositivo
