General information
Reading and storing the instruction
manual
This instruction manual accompanies this
rechargeable and corded shaver. It con-
tains important information on setup and
handling.
For improved readability, the rechargeable
and corded shaver will be referred to only
as the “shaver”below.
Before using the shaver, read the instruc-
tion manual carefully. This particularly ap-
plies for the safety notes. Non-observance
of this instruction manual may cause dam-
age to the shaver.
The instruction manual is based on the
standards and rules in force in the Europe-
an Union. When abroad, you must also ob-
serve country-specific guidelines and laws.
Store the instruction manual for further
use. If you pass the shaver on to third par-
ties, please be absolutely sure to include
this instruction manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this
instruction manual, on the shaver or on the packaging.

− Only use the shaver with the enclosed po

wer supply unit. The shaver requires safety
extra-low voltage (SELV) with the values
specified in the chapter “Technical data”.
− Only connect the power supply unit to an
easily accessible socket so that you can
quickly disconnect it from the grid in case
of a failure.
− If the power cord, the power supply unit
or the shaver exhibit visible damages or
are defective, do not use them further.
− If the power cord of the shaver is da

maged, the manufacturer, its customer
service team or a person with similar
qualifications must replace it.
− Never operate this appliance when it
has a damaged cord or plug, when it is
not working properly, after it has been
dropped or damaged, or after it has been

− Make sure that children do not play with
the packaging wrapper. They may get
caught in it when playing and suffocate.

Checking the shaver and product

Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening
the packaging with a sharp knife or
other pointy object, you may quickly
damage the shaver.
− Therefore, be careful when
opening it.
1. Take the shaver out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete
(see fig. A).
3. Check whether the shaver, the individual parts or
the accessories exhibit damage.
4. If the delivery is incomplete or the shaver, the indi-
vidual parts or the accessories exhibit damage, do
not use the shaver. Contact the manufacturer at the
service address specified on the warranty card.
Displaying the status
The shaver has two indicators that supply information
about the power supply or the rechargeable battery
charge level (see fig. C):

3. To charge the shaver, place it on a dry and level sur-
face or shave in grid mode.

Dry shave
NOTICE!
We recommend a dry shave before you
wash. After washing, you skin is slightly
swollen. As a result, shavers are often un-
able to reach the entire length of your beard
hair so the shave will be less thorough.
For a dry shave, follow the steps below:
1. Take the protective cap

off of the shaver
(see fig. A).
2. Use the On/Off switch

to turn the shaver on.
3. Use your free hand to stretch the part of your face
you intend to shave.
4. Apply gentle pressure to move the shaver head

perpendicular to the direction of hair growth.
5. After a few strokes, use your free hand to check the
results and repeat step 4 if necessary.

6. Shave as described in steps 2 – 4.
7. If necessary, use the trimmer

Wet shave
1. Dampen your face and apply shaving cream or gel to
your face.
2. Take the protective cap

4. While applying gentle pressure, move the shaver

Using the trimmer
NOTICE!
Keep in mind that the trimmer always
generates a straight cutting edge. If you
do not want a straight cutting edge, you
must hold the shaver at an angle.
For hard-to-reach areas or for very preci-
se cuts, use a comb to check the hair you
intend to trim with the trimmer and the
cut length.
Use the trimmer as follows:
1. Move the trimmer

all the way out until it audibly
locks into place (see fig. D).
2. Use the On/Off switch

to turn the shaver on
(see fig. A).
3. Slowly guide the trimmer up to the hair you intend
to cut.
Always use short strokes to cut your hair.
4. Turn the shaver off.
5. Clean the shaver as described in the chapter “Daily
cleaning after a wet shave” or “Daily cleaning after a
dry shave”.
Using the travel guard
The shaver is equipped with a travel guard that pre-
vents the shaver from accidentally activating.

Activating the travel guard
− Hold the On/Off switch

down for approx. 4
seconds (see fig. A). The shaver will automatically
deactivate and the battery symbol will flash four
times in green.
The travel guard is now active.
Deactivating the travel guard
NOTICE!
Connecting the shaver with the power
supply unit and inserting the power
supply unit in a socket will automatically
deactivate the travel guard.
1. Hold the On/Off switch

down for approx. 4 sec-
onds (see fig. A).
The battery symbol will flash twice in green in the
process.
The shaver will now automatically switch on.
2. Briefly push the On/Off switch to turn off the shaver.
The travel guard is now deactivated.

Daily cleaning after a dry shave
1. Before cleaning, pull the 5 V plug

Daily cleaning after a wet shave
1. Before cleaning, pull the 5 V plug

shaver (see fig.A and B).

3. Hold the shaver over the sink.

6. Wash the shaver head thoroughly under warm run-
ning water on the inside and outside (see fig.G).
7. Carefully dry the shaver head with a lint-free cloth or
a paper towel. In the process, do not push the shav-
ing foils in.
8. Thoroughly rinse off the top part of the shaver and
the shaver blades under warm running water (see
fig.H).
9. Use the On/Off switch

to switch the shaver on
without the shaver head for approx. 5 – 10 seconds
to dispel any drops of water off of the shaver blades

10. Use a lint-free cloth or a paper towel to thoroughly
dry off the shaver.
11. Firmly mount the shaver head on the shaver until the

Weekly cleaning
It is recommended that you thoroughly clean the shav-
er once a week. To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Before cleaning, pull the 5 V plug

out of the
shaver (see fig. A and B).
2. Use the On/Off switch

to switch the shaver off
(see fig. A).
3. Hold the shaver over the sink.
4. Depress both release buttons

5. Pull the shaver head up and off.
6. Knock the shaver head out gently over a sink to re-
move stubbles.
7. Thoroughly wash the shaver head under warm run-
ning water from the inside and outside (see fig.G).

stubbles from the shaver blades and the entire top
part of the shaver (see fig.A and I).
12. Thoroughly rinse off the top part of the shaver and the
shaver blades under warm running water (see fig.H).

13. Use the On/Off switch to switch the shaver off with-
out the shaver head for approx. 5 – 10 seconds in or-
der to dispel water drops from the shaver blades

14. Use a lint-free cloth or a paper towel to thoroughly
dry off the shaver.
15. Firmly mount the shaver head

on the shaver so
that the locking mechanism locks into place (see fig. F).
16. Place the protective cap

on the shaver.
The shaver is now ready for use again.
User maintenance for the shaving foils
To maintain the performance of your shaver and in-
crease the service life of the shaving foils, you should
perform user maintenance on the shaving foils every
two months as follows:
1. Put a drop of fine, non-resinous household oil on
the tip of your finger.
2. Distribute the oil evenly on the shaving foils.
3. Without applying pressure, dab the shaving foils
with a soft, lint-free cloth or paper towel.
Replacing wearable parts
Ordering wearable parts
You can order a new shaving foil unit and shaver blades
to replace worn ones.
To place your order, contact the address provided on
the order form.

Replacing the shaving foil unit
If the shaving foil unit is damaged, it must be promptly
replaced. We generally recommend that you replace the
shaving foil unit after 12 months of daily use.
1. Depress both release buttons

We recommend replacing the shaver blades after 12
months of daily use. The two shaver blades must always
be replaced at the same time.

Comprobación de la afeitadora y el

Si abre el embalaje con un cuchillo
afilado o con otros objetos pun-
tiagudos sin tener cuidado, la

− Al abrir el embalaje, proceda
con cuidado.
1. Saque la afeitadora del embalaje.
2. Compruebe si el suministro está completo
(véase la fig. A).
3. Revise si la afeitadora, los componentes o los
accesorios presentan daños.
4. Si el suministro no está completo o si la afeitadora,
los componentes o los accesorios presentan daños,
no use la afeitadora. Contacte con el fabricante a
través de la dirección de servicio técnico indicada en
la tarjeta de garantía.

Afeitado en seco
¡AVISO!
Recomendamos el afeitado en seco antes
de lavarse. Después, la piel queda algo
hinchada. Las afeitadoras no suelen
llegar así a toda la longitud del pelo de la
barba, lo que conlleva un afeitado menos
apurado.
Para el afeitado en seco, proceda así:
1. Retire la tapa protectora

3. Estire la parte de la cara que quiere afeitar con la

Uso del cortapelos
¡AVISO!
Recuerde que el cortapelos produce
siempre un corte recto. Si no quiere un
corte recto, debe girar la afeitadora de
forma pertinente.
En los lugares de difícil acceso o para
cortes muy precisos, emplee el peine
para controlar el pelo que desea cortar
con el cortapelos y la longitud del corte.
Utilice el cortapelos así:
1. Saque el cortapelos

escuche encajar (véase la fig. D).

3. Pase el cortapelos lento por el pelo que desea
recortar.

Uso del seguro de viaje
La afeitadora viene con un seguro de viaje que evita
que se encienda sin querer.
Activación del seguro de viaje
− Mantenga presionado el interruptor de encendido/
apagado

La afeitadora se apaga sola y el símbolo de batería
parpadea cuatro veces en verde.
El seguro de viaje ya está activado.
Desactivación del seguro de viaje
¡AVISO!
Cuando la afeitadora se conecta a la
fuente de alimentación y esta a una
toma de corriente, el seguro de viaje se
desactiva automáticamente.
1. Mantenga presionado el interruptor de encendido/

1. Con la punta del dedo, tome una gota de aceite
lubricante doméstico fino que no se resinifique.
2. Distribuya el lubricante de forma homogénea por
las láminas cortantes.
3. Toque sin presión las láminas cortantes con un paño
suave sin pelusas o con papel secamanos.

allows us to provide support in the event of pos-

In order to make a claim under the warranty, please send us:
• together with the faulty item the original receipt and the war-
ranty card properly completed.
• the faulty product with all components included in the packaging.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Accident or unanticipated events (e.g. lightning, water, fire).
• Improper use or transport.
• Disregard of the safety and maintenance instructions.
• Other improper treatment or modification.
After the expiry of the warranty period, you still have the possibility
to have your product repaired at your own expense. It the repair or
the estimate of costs is not free of charge you will be informed ac-
cordingly in advance.
This warranty does not limit the statutory obligation of the seller aris-
ing from a warranty. In the event that a product is received for repair,
neither the service company nor the seller will assume any liability
