This lift chair is made by qualified and committed personnel. It is designed and produced
according to high quality standards guarded by Vermeiren.
Thanks for your trust in the products of Vermeiren. To support you on the use of this lift chair and
its operating options, this manual is offered. Please read it carefully; it will help you to get familiar
with the operation, capabilities and limitations of your chair.
If you still have questions after reading this manual, do not hesitate to contact your specialist
dealer. He/she will be glad to help you on this subject.

To ensure your safety, and to prolong the lifetime of your product, please take good care of it and
have it checked and serviced on a regular basis.

The Ontario lift chairs provide first class seating comfort and make it easier for the user to stand
up again. Ontario is available in 2 versions:
• Ontario I: lift chair with a single motor operating both the backrest and leg rest
simultaneously.
• Ontario II: lift chair with a dual motor, making it possible to operate the backrest and leg
rest separately.

3.1 Intended use
In this paragraph a brief description of the intended use of your lift chair is given. Additionally,
relevant warnings are added to the instructions in the other paragraphs. In this way we would like
to make you aware of the possible misuse that may appear.
• This lift chair is suitable for indoor use.
• This lift chair is designed and produced solely to seat one (1) person with a maximum weight
of 150 kg. It is not designed for any use other than previously described.
• This lift chair is meant to be operated by the user. The chair is suitable for use by elderly
people and persons with weakened leg function.
• Only use accessories and spare parts approved by Vermeiren.
• Please read all technical details and limits of your lift chair in chapter 7.
• The warranty on this product is based on normal use and maintenance as described in this
manual. Damage to your product caused by improper use or lack of maintenance will cause
the warranty to lapse.
3.2 General safety instructions
Risk of injuries and/or damage
Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. Otherwise you may get injured or your lift
chair may get damaged.
Keep the following general warnings in mind during use:
• Make sure that the lift chair is placed on even ground.
• Surfaces can assume the environment temperatures.
• Make sure that cables do not become entrapped.
• Do not allow children to use or play with the chair as the folding leg rest may cause injuries.
• Do not sit on the backrest, armrest or leg rest. Do not lean heavily on the leg rest when getting
into/out of the chair.
• When inclining the backrest and/or leg rest, make sure that there is enough space between
the chair and the wall or other object.
• Do not move the lift chair
o when the lift chair is in lying down position.
o when the lift chair is connected to the power outlet or when it is in service.
• Your lift chair has been tested for electromagnetic compatibility and complies with the
standard. Nevertheless, sources of electromagnetic fields may be influenced by your chair.
Should any unintended movement occur, unplug the power cord from the mains.
3.3 Symbols on the lift chair
The symbols in following list are applicable to your lift chair. Symbols can be found in the relevant
ISO standard (ISO 7000, ISO 7001 and IEC 417).

3.4 Transport and storage
3.4.1 Transport
Do not pull the backrest or armrest cushions to move your
lift chair, even for a small distance, as this may cause the
upholstery or stitching to tear.
Grasp the lower frame of the lift chair (side and bottom of the chair) to
move it. If the chair has to be lifted off the ground, for example to transport
it in a vehicle, lift the chair with at least 2 people .
To make transportation in a vehicle easier, the backrest can be
dismounted (see §5.3.2). Store the separate parts in a separate luggage
compartment or behind the passenger seat.
The lift chair should only be moved when it is in the upright sitting position. When the chair is in
the lift position, the wheels will be blocked and the chair can not be moved.
3.4.2 Storage

Make sure that your lift chair is stored dry to prevent mould from growing and the upholstery from
being damaged, see also technical details in §7.

• First read previous chapters and inform yourself about the intended use. Do NOT use your
chair unless you have read and fully understood all instructions.
• In case of doubts or questions, do not hesitate to contact your local specialist dealer, your care
provider or technical adviser to help you.
Risk of injuries and/or damage
• Make sure that your fingers, clothes, belts, buckles or jewellery won’t get caught by moving
parts, during assembly, use or adjustment.
4.1 Transfer into and out of the chair
Risk of injuries or damage
• In case you cannot perform the transfer in a safe manner, ask someone to assist you.
• Do not sit on the leg rest during the transfer.
• Do not pull on the armrests to lift yourself out the chair; use the stand-up function.
To get into the chair:
1. Place the chair in its most upright sitting position and fully lower the leg rest (see §4.2).
2. Transfer to the chair.
3. Sit down on the seat with the lower back against the backrest.
4. Adjust the chair to a comfortable sitting position.
To get out of the chair:
1. Place the chair in its most upright sitting position and fully lower the leg rest (see §4.2).
2. Use the stand-up function (see §4.2). The chair is now lifted slightly forward to help you stand
up with ease.
4.2 Comfort adjustments
To adjust your sitting position in the chair, keep pressing the button on the controller until the
desired position is reached.

When the lift chair is not being used, leave it in the upright sitting position and not in the elevated
position.
4.2.3 Entrapment zones
The picture below shows the possible entrapment zones of the lift chair. Take extra care not to
get your clothes, fingers or other objects pinched between these moving parts.

• Only use the settings described in this manual.
• Make sure that your fingers, clothes, belts, buckles or jewellery won’t get caught by moving
parts, during assembly, use or adjustment.
5.1 Tools
No tools are needed to set up the lift chair.
5.2 Manner of delivery
Unpack your product and verify if the delivery is complete. The following items should be included:
• Frame with seat, armrests, leg rest and lower frame
• Backrest
• Headrest cover
• Controller
• Depending on version:
o Ontario I: 2 wheels + 2 leg levelers (Optional: 4 leg levelers)
o Ontario II: 4 wheels (Optional: 2 wheels + 2 leg levelers)
• Manual
Verify your product for transport damage. If you find any damages after delivery, contact the
transporter.
5.3 Assembling the lift chair
The lift chair is delivered fully assembled with the exception of the backrest and the wheels.
5.3.1 Mounting the backrest
1. Place the backrest with the two sleeves (1) on the plates (2) mounted on the
seat.
2. Push on the upper side of the backrest until it clicks into place.
3. Make sure that the backrest is firmly fixated by pulling it slightly up again. If
the backrest comes loose, repeat the steps above.
4. Attach the loose backrest upholstery to the lower frame with the Velcro strips.
5.3.2 Removing the backrest
1. Loosen the backrest upholstery by pulling the Velcro strips
off the lower frame.
2. Use a flat head screwdriver or other tool to pull the locking
clip upwards. At the same time, pull the backrest upwards
until the two connection plates are released.
3. Lift the backrest out of the lower frame.
5.3.3 Mounting the wheels
The lift chair is delivered with a number of wheels according to your chosen
version and option. To fasten the wheels into place, use the nuts (3) that are
included with the delivery.

6 Maintenance
Regular care ensures that your lift chair is preserved in a perfectly functional condition. For
the maintenance manual, refer to the Vermeiren website: www.vermeiren.com.
Risk of injuries and damage
Repairs and replacements may only be undertaken by trained persons and only genuine
replacement parts of Vermeiren should be used.
The last page of this manual contains a registration form for the specialist dealer to record
each service.
The service frequency depends on the frequency and intensity of use. Contact your dealer to
agree to a common timetable for inspection/maintenance/repair.
Before each use
Inspect the following points:
• All parts: Clean, present and undamaged or unworn.
• Wheels, backrest: Well secured.
• General condition: No deformation, instability, weakness or loose connections.
Contact your specialist dealer for possible repairs or part replacements.
6.1 Instructions for maintenance
6.1.1 Cleaning
Risk of damage
• Never use a steam cleaner to clean the chair.
• Do not soak the upholstery.
The upholstery can be cleaned using a cloth moistened with warm water. Use a mild commercial
detergent to remove stubborn dirt. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, sponge, or hard brush
to clean.
6.2 Reuse
Before each reuse, have the lift chair disinfected, inspected and serviced according to the
instructions in the maintenance manual.
6.3 Expected lifespan
The average lifespan of your lift chair is 5 years. Depending on the frequency of use and
maintenance, the lifespan of your chair will increase or decrease.
6.4 End of use
At end of life, you need to dispose your chair according to the local environmental legislation. The
best way to do so, is to disassemble the chair to facilitate the transport of recyclable parts.

• Votre fauteuil releveur a subi un test de conformité électromagnétique et est conforme à la
norme. Néanmoins, des sources de champs électromagnétiques peuvent être influencées
par votre fauteuil. En cas de mouvement involontaire, débranchez le cordon d'alimentation
du secteur.

3.4 Transport et entreposage
3.4.1 Transport
Ne tirez pas sur les coussins du dossier ou des accoudoirs
pour déplacer votre fauteuil releveur, même sur une petite
distance, car cela pourrait provoquer la déchirure du
revêtement ou des coutures.
Saisissez le cadre inférieur du fauteuil releveur (côté et fond du fauteuil)
pour le déplacer. Si le fauteuil doit être levé du sol, par exemple pour le
transporter dans un véhicule, soulevez-le avec au moins deux personnes.
Pour faciliter le transport dans un véhicule, le dossier peut être démonté
(cf. §5.3.2). Rangez les différentes parties dans un compartiment à
bagages séparé ou derrière le siège passager.
Le fauteuil releveur ne peut être déplacé que lorsqu'il est en position assise droite. Lorsque le
fauteuil est en position relevée, les roues sont bloquées et le fauteuil ne peut pas être déplacé.
3.4.2 Entreposage

formation de moisissures et l’endommagement du rembourrage, cf. également les détails

4 Utilisation du fauteuil releveur

• Lisez d'abord les chapitres précédents et informez-vous à propos de l'usage prévu. N’utilisez
PAS votre fauteuil sans avoir d'abord lu et bien compris toutes les instructions.
• En cas de doutes ou de questions, n’hésitez pas à prendre contact avec votre revendeur local,
votre prestataire de soins ou votre conseiller technique qui pourra vous aider.
Risques de dommages corporels ou matériels
• Assurez-vous que vos doigts, des vêtements, ceintures, boucles ou bijoux ne puissent pas se
coincer dans les parties mobiles pendant l’assemblage, l’utilisation ou le réglage.
4.1 Transfert vers et hors du fauteuil
Risque de blessures ou de dommages
• Si vous ne pouvez pas réaliser le transfert de manière sûre, demandez à quelqu'un de vous
aider.
• Ne vous asseyez pas sur le repose-pieds pendant le transfert.
• Ne tirez pas sur les accoudoirs pour vous soulever du fauteuil ; utilisez la fonction de
redressement.
Pour s’asseoir dans le fauteuil :
1. Placez le fauteuil dans sa position assise la plus droite et abaissez complètement le repose-
pieds (cf. §4.2).
2. Réalisez le transfert vers le fauteuil.
3. Asseyez-vous dans le siège, le bas du dos contre le dossier.
4. Réglez le fauteuil à une position d’assise confortable.
Pour sortir du fauteuil :
1. Placez le fauteuil dans sa position assise la plus droite et abaissez complètement le repose-
pieds (cf. §4.2).
2. Utilisez la fonction de redressement (cf. §4.2). Le fauteuil est à présent légèrement soulevé
vers l'avant pour vous aider à vous redresser facilement.
4.2 Réglages de confort
Pour régler votre position assise dans le fauteuil, continuez à appuyer sur le bouton de la
commande jusqu'à ce que la position souhaitée soit atteinte.

5 Installation et réglages

5.1 Outils
Aucun outil n'est nécessaire pour installer le fauteuil releveur.
5.2 Mode de livraison
Déballez votre produit et vérifiez si la livraison est complète. Les pièces suivantes sont incluses
dans la livraison :
• Châssis avec siège, accoudoirs, repose-pieds et cadre inférieur
• Dossier
• Protection d'appuie-tête
• Dispositif de commande
• Selon la version :
o Ontario I : 2 roues + 2 pieds niveleurs (En option : 4 pieds niveleurs)
o Ontario II : 4 roues (En option : 2 roues + 2 pieds niveleurs)
• Manuel
Vérifiez si votre produit n’a subi aucun dommage pendant le transport. S'il s'avère que votre
produit présente un défaut, veuillez prendre contact avec le transporteur.
5.3 Montage du fauteuil releveur
Le fauteuil releveur est livré entièrement assemblé, à l'exception du dossier et des roues.
5.3.1 Montage du dossier
1. Placez le dossier avec les deux manchons (1) sur les plaques (2) montées
sur le siège.
2. Poussez sur la partie supérieure du dossier jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche.
3. Assurez-vous que le dossier est bien fixé en le tirant légèrement vers le haut.
Si le dossier se détache, répétez les étapes ci-dessus.
4. Fixez le revêtement libre du dossier au cadre inférieur à l'aide des bandes
Velcro.
5.3.2 Retrait du dossier
1. Détachez le revêtement du dossier en retirant les bandes
Velcro du cadre inférieur.
2. Utilisez un tournevis à tête plate ou un autre outil pour tirer
l’agrafe de verrouillage vers le haut. En même temps, tirez le
dossier vers le haut jusqu'à ce que les deux plaques de
connexion soient libérées.
3. Retirez le dossier du châssis inférieur en le soulevant.
5.3.3 Montage des roues
Le fauteuil releveur est livré avec un certain nombre de roues selon la version
et l'option que vous avez choisies. Pour fixer les roues, utilisez les écrous (3)
qui sont fournis lors de la livraison.

Un entretien régulier vous permet de conserver votre fauteuil releveur dans un parfait état
de fonctionnement. Pour le manuel d'entretien, consultez le site Web de Vermeiren :

Risque de dommages corporels et matériels
Les réparations et les remplacements ne peuvent être réalisés que par des personnes formées,
et seules des pièces de rechange d'origine de Vermeiren peuvent être utilisées.
La dernière page de ce manuel contient un formulaire d’enregistrement pour permettre au
revendeur spécialisé de consigner chaque service.
La fréquence d'entretien dépend de la fréquence et de l'intensité de l'utilisation. Prenez contact
avec votre revendeur pour convenir d'un rendez-vous pour une inspection/un entretien/une
réparation.
Avant chaque utilisation
Inspectez les points suivants :
• Toutes les pièces : Propres, présentes et sans dommage ni usure.
• Roue, dossier : Bien fixés.
• État général : Pas de déformation, d'instabilité, de faiblesse ou de connexions desserrées.
Prenez contact avec votre revendeur spécialisé pour les réparations et les remplacements de
pièces éventuels.
6.1 Instructions d'entretien
6.1.1 Nettoyage
Risque de dommages
• N'utilisez jamais un nettoyeur à vapeur pour laver le fauteuil.
• Ne faites pas tremper le revêtement.
Le revêtement peut être nettoyé à l'aide d'un chiffon humidifié à l'eau chaude. Utilisez un
détergent doux du commerce pour éliminer la saleté tenace. N'utilisez pas de produits de
nettoyage ou une éponge abrasifs, ni une brosse dure pour nettoyer.
6.2 Réutilisation
Avant chaque réutilisation, faites désinfecter, inspecter et entretenir le fauteuil releveur
conformément aux instructions du manuel d’entretien.
6.3 Durée de vie attendue
La durée de vie moyenne de votre fauteuil releveur est de 5 ans. Elle augmentera ou diminuera
suivant la fréquence d'utilisation et l’entretien.
6.4 Mise au rebut
À la fin de sa durée de vie, votre fauteuil releveur doit être mis au rebut conformément à la
législation environnementale locale. Il est recommandé de démonter le fauteuil afin de faciliter le
transport des matériaux recyclables.

De Ontario liftzetels zorgen voor eersteklas zitcomfort en maken het makkelijker voor de
gebruiker om weer op te staan. Ontario is beschikbaar in 2 versies:

3.1 Beoogd gebruik
In dit hoofdstuk wordt kort beschreven wat het beoogde gebruik van uw liftzetel inhoudt.
Bijkomende relevante waarschuwingen worden gegeven bij de instructies in andere
hoofdstukken. Op deze manier proberen we u te waarschuwen voor mogelijk verkeerd gebruik.
• Deze liftzetel is geschikt voor binnengebruik.
• Deze liftzetel is uitsluitend ontworpen als zitplaats voor één (1) persoon met een maximum-
gewicht van 150 kg. Het is niet bedoeld voor enig ander gebruik dan hiervoor beschreven.
• De liftzetel dient door de gebruiker zelf bediend te worden. De stoel is geschikt voor ouderen
en personen met een verzwakte beenfunctie.
• Gebruik enkel accessoires en reserveonderdelen die werden goedgekeurd door Vermeiren.
• Lees eerst alle technische details en limieten van uw rolstoel in hoofdstuk 7.
• De garantie op dit product is gebaseerd op normaal gebruik en onderhoud zoals beschreven
in deze handleiding. De garantie vervalt bij schade die werd veroorzaakt door verkeerd
gebruik of gebrek aan onderhoud.
3.2 Algemene veiligheidsmaatregelen
Gevaar voor letsel en/of beschadiging
Lees de instructies in deze handleiding en volg ze nauwkeurig op. Zo niet, kan dit leiden tot
lichamelijk letsel of beschadiging aan uw liftzetel.
Houd rekening met de volgende algemene waarschuwingen tijdens het gebruik:
• Zorg ervoor dat de liftzetel op vlakke ondergrond geplaatst wordt.
• Oppervlakken kunnen de omgevingstemperatuur overnemen.
• Zorg ervoor dat kabels niet gekneld raken.
• Laat kinderen de stoel niet gebruiken of laat ze er niet mee spelen. De toeklappende
beensteun kan letsels veroorzaken.
• Ga nooit op de rug, armsteunen of beensteun zitten. Leun niet zwaar op de beensteun
wanneer u in/uit de stoel stapt.
• Zorg ervoor dat er voldoende plaats is tussen de stoel en de muur of andere objecten
wanneer u de rug en/of beensteun inclineert.
• Verplaats de stoel niet
o wanneer de liftzetel in ligpositie staat.
o wanneer de liftzetel verbonden is met een stopcontact of wanneer hij in gebruik is.
• Uw liftzetel werd getest op elektromagnetische compatibiliteit en voldoet aan de standaard.
Toch kunnen elektromagnetische velden door uw stoel beïnvloed worden. Indien ongewenste
bewegingen optreden, verwijder dan de stekker uit het stopcontact.
3.3 Symbolen op de liftzetel
De volgende symbolen zijn van toepassing op uw rolstoel. De symbolen kan u terugvinden in de
relevante ISO-standaard (ISO 7000, ISO 7001 en IEC 417).

3.4 Transport en opslag
3.4.1 Transport
Trek niet aan de kussens van de rug of armsteun om uw
liftzetel te verplaatsen, zelfs over een kleine afstand. Dit
kan scheuren aan de bekleding en stiksels tot gevolg
hebben.
Gebruik het onderframe van de liftzetel (zijkant en onderkant van de stoel)
om de zetel te verplaatsen. Til de liftzetel op met minstens 2 personen als
de stoel van de grond moet worden getild, bijvoorbeeld om de liftzetel te
transporteren in een voertuig.
Om transport in een voertuig makkelijker te maken, kan de rug
gedemonteerd worden (zie §5.3.2). Bewaar de afzonderlijke delen in een
apart bagagecompartiment of achter de passagiersstoel.
De liftzetel mag enkel verplaatst worden wanneer hij in de rechtop zittende positie staat. Wanneer
de stoel in de liftpositie staat, zijn de wielen geblokkeerd en kan hij niet verplaatst worden.
3.4.2 Opslag

Gevaar voor letsel
• Lees eerst de voorgaande hoofdstukken en informeer uzelf over het beoogde gebruik. Gebruik
uw liftzetel NIET voordat u alle instructies gelezen en begrepen heeft.
• Als u nog vragen heeft of als u ergens aan twijfelt, aarzel dan niet om contact op te nemen met
uw lokale vakhandelaar, zorgverlener, of technisch adviseur om u te helpen.
Gevaar voor letsel en/of beschadiging
• Houd uw vingers, kledij, riemen, gespen en juwelen uit de buurt van bewegende onderdelen
bij installatie, gebruik of verstelling.
4.1 Transfer in/uit de stoel
Gevaar voor letsel of beschadiging
• Als u de transfer niet op een veilige manier kan uitvoeren, vraag dan hulp.
• Ga niet op de beensteun zitten tijdens de transfer.
• Trek niet aan de armsteunen om uzelf uit de stoel te tillen; gebruik de sta-op functie.
Om in de stoel te gaan zitten:
1. Plaats de stoel in rechtop zittende positie en laat de beensteun volledig inklappen (zie §4.2).
2. Transfer naar de stoel.
3. Ga zitten op de zit met uw onderrug tegen de rugsteun.
4. Verstel de stoel naar een comfortabele zitpositie.
Om uit de stoel op te staan:
1. Plaats de stoel in rechtop zittende positie en laat de beensteun volledig inklappen (zie §4.2).
2. Gebruik de sta-op functie (zie §4.2). De stoel wordt nu lichtjes naar voor getild om u
makkelijker te doen opstaan.
4.2 Aanpassingen voor comfort
Om de zitpositie in de stoel aan te passen, houd u de drukknop op de bedieningsconsole
ingedrukt totdat de gewenste positie bereikt is.

• Houd uw vingers, kledij, riemen, gespen en juwelen uit de buurt van bewegende onderdelen
bij installatie, gebruik of verstelling.
5.1 Gereedschap
Om de liftzetel te monteren is geen gereedschap nodig.
5.2 Leveringsomvang
Pak uw product uit en verifieer of de levering compleet is. Volgende onderdelen zijn bij de levering
ingesloten:
• Frame met zit, armsteunen, beensteun en onderframe
• Rug
• Hoofdsteunbeschermer
• Bedieningsconsole
• Afhankelijk van de versie:
o Ontario I: 2 wielen + 2 doppen (Optioneel: 4 doppen)
o Ontario II: 4 wielen (Optioneel: 2 wielen + 2 doppen)
• Handleiding
Controleer de zending zorgvuldig op transportschade. Wanneer blijkt dat uw product een defect
vertoont, neem dan contact op met de transporteur.
5.3 De liftzetel monteren
De liftzetel wordt compleet gemonteerd afgeleverd met uitzondering van de rug en de wielen.
5.3.1 De rug monteren
1. Plaats de rug met de twee sleuven (1) op de platen (2) op de zit.
2. Duw bovenop de rug naar beneden tot de rug op zijn plaats klikt.
3. Zorg ervoor dat de rug stevig bevestigd is door hem even lichtjes weer
omhoog te trekken. Als de rug los komt, herhaal dan bovenstaande stappen.
4. Bevestig de losse rugbekleding met de Velcrostrips aan het onderframe.
5.3.2 De rug verwijderen
1. Maak de rugbekleding los door de Velcrostrips van het
onderframe los te trekken.
2. Gebruik een vlakke schroevendraaier of ander gereedschap
om de vergrendelingsclip omhoog te tillen. Trek op hetzelfde
moment de rug omhoog totdat de twee bevestigingsplaten
los komen.
3. Til de rug uit het onderframe.
5.3.3 De wielen monteren
De liftzetel wordt geleverd met een aantal wielen volgens de gekozen versie
en optie. Om de wielen op hun plaats vast te maken, gebruikt u de moeren
(3) die inbegrepen zijn bij de levering.

Regelmatig onderhoud zorgt ervoor dat uw liftzetel in een perfect staat van werking blijft.
Voor de onderhoudshandleiding, raadpleeg de Vermeiren website: www.vermeiren.com.
Gevaar voor letsel of beschadiging
Reparaties en vervangingen mogen enkel uitgevoerd worden door opgeleid personeel, en enkel
originele onderdelen van Vermeiren mogen hierbij gebruikt worden.
De laatste pagina van deze handleiding bevat een registratieformulier, bedoeld voor de
vakhandelaar om ieder onderhoud te registeren.
De onderhoudsfrequentie hangt af van de frequentie en intensiteit van gebruik. Neem contact op
met uw vakhandelaar om een tijdschema vast te leggen voor nazicht/onderhoud/reparatie.
Voor ieder gebruik
Kijk de volgende punten na:
• Alle onderdelen: Schoon, aanwezig en niet beschadigd of versleten.
• Wielen, rug: stevig bevestigd.
• Algemene staat: Geen vervorming, instabiliteit, zwakte of losse verbindingen.
Contacteer uw vakhandelaar voor eventuele reparaties of vervanging van onderdelen.
6.1 Instructies voor onderhoud
6.1.1 Schoonmaak
Gevaar voor schade
• Gebruik nooit een stoomreiniger om de stoel schoon te maken.
• Doorweek de bekleding niet.
De bekleding kan gereinigd worden door middel van een met warm water bevochtigd doek.
Gebruik een milde commerciële detergent om hardnekkig vuil te verwijderen. Gebruik geen
schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, sponzen of harde borstels.
6.2 Hergebruik
Voor ieder hergebruik dient de liftzetel te worden onderhouden, gedesinfecteerd en
geïnspecteerd volgens de aanwijzingen in de onderhoudshandleiding.
6.3 Verwachte levensduur
De gemiddelde levensduur van uw liftzetel is 5 jaar. De levensduur zal toenemen of afnemen
afhankelijk van de gebruiksfrequentie, rijomstandigheden en onderhoud.
6.4 Beëindiging van gebruik
Op het einde van de levensduur moet u de liftzetel vernietigen volgens de lokale milieuwetgeving.
De beste manier om dit te doen, is de liftzetel te demonteren om het vervoer van de recycleerbare
onderdelen te vergemakkelijken.

3 Vor der Benutzung
3.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieser Kapitel enthält eine kurze Beschreibung der bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung Ihres
Liftsessels. Darüber hinaus enthalten die Anweisungen in den weiteren Abschnitten zusätzliche
Warnhinweise. Auf diese Weise wollen wir Sie auf die Möglichkeit einer unsachgemäßen
Benutzung hinweisen.
• Dieser Liftsessel ist die Benutzung im Innenbereich vorgesehen.
• Er ist ausschließlich dafür konzipiert und gefertigt, eine (1) Person mit einem Gewicht von
maximal 150 kg zu tragen. Er ist nicht für andere Verwendungszwecke als den oben
beschriebenen Verwendungszweck vorgesehen.
• Dieser Liftsessel ist für die Bedienung durch den Benutzer vorgesehen. Der Sessel eignet
sich für ältere Menschen und Personen mit geschwächter Beinfunktion.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich von Vermeiren genehmigte Zubehör- oder Ersatzteile.
• Sehen Sie sich auch die technischen Daten und die Grenzen Ihres Liftsessels in Kapitel 7 an.
• Die Garantie für dieses Produkt beruht auf dessen normaler Benutzung und Wartung wie in
diesem Handbuch beschrieben. Schäden an Ihrem Produkt, die auf unsachgemäße
Benutzung oder mangelnde Wartung zurückzuführen sind, führen zum Erlöschen der
Garantie.
3.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Gefahr von Personen- und/oder Sachschäden
Bitte lesen und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung, da andernfalls
Verletzungsgefahr besteht oder Ihr Liftsessel beschädigt werden könnte.
Beachten Sie bei der Benutzung die folgenden allgemeinen Warnhinweise:
• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Liftsessel auf ebenem Untergrund steht.
• Oberflächen können die Umgebungstemperaturen annehmen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass sich die Kabel nicht verfangen.
• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Kinder den Liftsessel nicht benutzen oder hiermit spielen, weil das
Einklappen der Beinauflage zu Verletzungen führen kann.
• Setzen Sie sich nicht auf die Rückenlehne, die Armlehne oder die Beinauflage. Belasten Sie
die Beinauflage nicht zu stark, wenn Sie sich auf den Sessel setzen oder vom Sessel
erheben.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass genügend Platz zwischen dem Sessel und der Wand oder einem
anderen Objekt vorhanden ist, wenn Sie die Rückenlehne und/oder die Beinauflage neigen.
• Bewegen Sie den Liftsessel nicht
o wenn sich der Liftsessel in der Liegeposition befindet.
o wenn der Liftsessel mit der Steckdose verbunden ist oder in Betrieb ist.
• Ihr Liftsessel wurde auf elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit geprüft und erfüllt die
entsprechende Norm. Dennoch kann Ihr Sessel Einfluss auf Quellen elektromagnetischer
Felder haben. Sollte eine unbeabsichtigte Bewegung erfolgen, trennen Sie das Netzkabel
von dem Stromnetz.
3.3 Symbole am Liftsessel
Die nachstehend aufgeführten Symbole gelten für Ihren Liftsessel. Symbole sind in der
entsprechenden ISO-Norm (ISO 7000, ISO 7001 und IEC 417) zu finden.

3.4 Transport und Lagerung
3.4.1 Transport
Ziehen Sie nicht an den Polstern der Rückenlehne oder
Armlehne, um Ihren Liftsessel zu bewegen, auch nicht,
wenn es nur um eine kurze Entfernung geht, weil hierdurch
die Polsterung oder die Nähte reißen könnten.
Um den Liftsessel zu bewegen, fassen Sie ihn am Untergestell (Seite und
Boden des Sessels) an. Wenn der Sessel vom Boden angehoben werden
muss, zum Beispiel, um ihn in einem Fahrzeug zu transportieren, heben
Sie den Sessel mit mindestens 2 Personen an.
Um den Sessel einfacher in einem Fahrzeug transportieren zu können,
kann die Rückenlehne demontiert werden (siehe Abschnitt 5.3.2).
Bewahren Sie die einzelnen Teile in einem getrennten Gepäckraum oder hinter dem Beifahrersitz
auf.
Der Liftsessel sollte nur bewegt werden, wenn er sich in aufrechter Sitzposition befindet. Wenn
sich der Sessel in der Hebeposition befindet, werden die Räder blockiert und der Sessel kann
nicht bewegt werden.
3.4.2 Lagerung

Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihr Liftsessel trocken untergebracht ist, um zu verhindern, dass sich
Schimmel bildet oder die Polsterung beschädigt wird; siehe auch technische Details in Abschnitt
7.

4 Benutzen des Liftsessels

• Lesen Sie bitte zunächst die vorhergehenden Abschnitte, um sich über die
Benutzungsbedingungen zu informieren. Benutzen Sie den Sessel NICHT, bevor Sie alle
Anweisungen aufmerksam gelesen und vollständig verstanden haben.
• Im Zweifelsfall oder bei Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren örtlichen Fachhändler, Ihren
Pflegedienst oder technischen Berater, um Ihnen zu helfen.
Gefahr von Personen- und/oder Sachschäden
• Achten Sie bei der Montage oder bei Einstellungen darauf, dass Finger, Kleidung, Gürtel,
Schnallen oder Schmuck nicht von beweglichen Teilen erfasst werden.
4.1 Transfer in und aus dem Sessel
Gefahr von Verletzungen oder Schäden
• Falls Sie den Vorgang allein nicht sicher bewältigen können, bitten Sie jemanden um Hilfe.
• Setzen Sie sich während des Transfers nicht auf die Beinauflage.
• Ziehen Sie nicht an den Armlehnen, um sich aus dem Sessel zu erheben; nutzen Sie die
Aufstehfunktion.
Auf den Sessel setzen:
1. Stellen Sie den Sessel in die steilste Sitzposition und senken Sie die Beinauflage vollständig
ab (siehe Abschnitt 4.2).
2. Begeben Sie sich zum Sessel.
3. Setzen Sie sich so auf die Sitzfläche, dass der untere Lendenbereich an der Rückenlehne
anliegt
4. Stellen Sie den Sessel auf eine bequeme Sitzposition ein.
Aus dem Sessel aufstehen:
1. Stellen Sie den Sessel in die steilste Sitzposition und senken Sie die Beinauflage vollständig
ab (siehe Abschnitt 4.2).
2. Benutzen Sie die Aufstehfunktion (siehe Abschnitt 4.2). Der Sessel wird jetzt leicht nach vorne
angehoben, um Ihnen das Aufstehen zu erleichtern.
4.2 Komforteinstellungen
Um Ihre Sitzposition im Sessel anzupassen, halten Sie die Taste an der Steuerung gedrückt, bis
die gewünschte Position erreicht ist.

dass Ihre Kleidung, Ihre Finger oder andere Gegenstände nicht zwischen diesen beweglichen
Teilen eingeklemmt werden.

5 Installation und Anpassung

• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die in diesem Handbuch beschriebenen Einstellungen.

5.1 Werkzeuge
Zum Einrichten des Liftsessels werden keine Werkzeuge benötigt.
5.2 Lieferumfang
Packen Sie Ihr Produkt aus und kontrollieren Sie, ob die Lieferung vollständig ist. Folgende Teile
müssen enthalten sein:
• Rahmen mit Sitzfläche, Armlehnen, Beinauflage und Untergestell
• Rückenlehne
• Kopfstützenüberzug
• Steuerung
• Je nach Ausführung:
o Ontario I: 2 Räder + 2 Fußteller (optional: 4 Fußteller)
o Ontario II: 4 Räder (optional: 2 Räder + 2 Fußteller)
• Handbuch
Prüfen Sie Ihr Produkt auf Transportschäden. Sollten Sie nach der Auslieferung Schäden
feststellen, kontaktieren Sie bitte den Spediteur.
5.3 Zusammenbauen des Liftsessels
Der Liftsessel wird bis auf die Rückenlehne und die Räder vollständig zusammengebaut
ausgeliefert.
5.3.1 Montieren der Rückenlehne
1. Platzieren Sie die Rückenlehne mit den beiden Hülsen (1) auf den Platten
(2), die an der Sitzfläche befestigt sind.
2. Drücken Sie von oben auf die Rückenlehne, bis sie einrastet.
3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Rückenlehne fest sitzt, indem Sie sie leicht
wieder nach oben ziehen. Wenn sich die Rückenlehne löst, wiederholen Sie
die obigen Schritte.
4. Befestigen Sie die losen Rückenlehnenpolster mit Klettstreifen an dem
Untergestell.
5.3.2 Abnehmen der Rückenlehne
1. Lösen Sie die Rückenlehnenpolster, indem Sie die
Klettstreifen vom Untergestellt abziehen.
2. Ziehen Sie den Verriegelungsclip mit einem flachen
Schraubendreher oder einem anderen Werkzeug nach oben.
Ziehen Sie gleichzeitig die Rückenlehne nach oben, bis die
beiden Verbindungsplatten freigegeben werden.
3. Heben Sie die Rückenlehne vom Untergestell ab.

5.3.3 Montieren der Räder
Der Liftsessel wird je nach gewählter Ausführung und Option mit einer
unterschiedlichen Anzahl an Rädern ausgeliefert. Bringen Sie die Räder mit
den im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Muttern (3) an.

6 Wartung und Pflege
Bei regelmäßiger Pflege wird Ihr Liftsessel in einem einwandfreien Zustand bleiben.
Bezüglich des Wartungshandbuchs besuchen Sie die Vermeiren-Website:

Gefahr von Personen- oder Sachschäden
Reparaturen und Erneuerungen dürfen nur von geschultem Personal und mit Original-
Ersatzteilen von Vermeiren durchgeführt werden.
Auf der letzten Seite dieses Handbuchs befindet sich ein Registrierungsformular, auf dem
der Fachhändler jeden Service dokumentieren kann.
Die Wartungshäufigkeit hängt von der Häufigkeit und Intensität der Nutzung ab. Wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Händler, um einen allgemeinen Zeitplan für Inspektion/Wartung/Reparatur zu
vereinbaren.
Vor jeder Benutzung
Kontrollieren Sie folgende Punkte:
• Alle Komponenten: Sauber, vorhanden und nicht beschädigt oder verschlissen.

6.1 Wartungshinweise
6.1.1 Reinigung
Beschädigungsgefahr
• Benutzen Sie keinesfalls einen Dampfreiniger, um den Sessel zu reinigen.
• Durchnässen Sie die Polsterung nicht.
Die Polsterung kann mit einem mit warmem Wasser angefeuchteten Tuch gereinigt werden.
Verwenden Sie ein handelsübliches mildes Reinigungsmittel, um hartnäckigen Schmutz zu
entfernen. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder -schwämme oder eine harte
Bürste zum Reinigen.
6.2 Wiederbenutzung
Lassen Sie den Liftsessel vor jeder Wiederbenutzung desinfizieren, inspizieren und entsprechend
den Anweisungen in der Wartungsanleitung warten.
6.3 Voraussichtliche Nutzungsdauer
Die durchschnittliche Nutzungsdauer Ihres Liftsessels beträgt 5 Jahre. Je nach
Nutzungshäufigkeit und Wartung kann die Nutzungsdauer Ihres Liftsessels länger oder kürzer
sein.
6.4 Nutzungsende
Am Ende seiner Nutzungsdauer muss Ihr Sessel gemäß den geltenden Umweltvorschriften
entsorgt werden. Dazu wird er im besten Fall zerlegt, um den Transport wiederverwertbarer Teile
zu erleichtern.

Le poltrone elevabili Ontario offrono un comfort di seduta di prim’ordine e agevolano l’utente nel
ritornare in piedi. Il modello Ontario è disponibile in 2 versioni:
• Ontario I: poltrona elevabile con un solo motore elettrico che aziona simultaneamente sia
lo schienale, sia l’appoggio per le gambe.
• Ontario II: poltrona elevabile con due motori elettrici che consentono di azionare
separatamente lo schienale e l’appoggio per le gambe.

3.1 Uso previsto
Questo paragrafo fornisce una breve descrizione dell’uso previsto della poltrona elevabile. Gli
altri paragrafi aggiungono inoltre alle istruzioni ulteriori avvertenze di rilievo. Vermeiren desidera
in tal modo portare all’attenzione dell’utente gli eventuali usi errati che possono presentarsi.
• Questa poltrona elevabile è adatta per l’uso al coperto.
• Questa poltrona elevabile è progettata e realizzata esclusivamente per accogliere una (1)
persona di peso non superiore a 150 kg. Essa non è viceversa progettata per qualunque uso
diverso da quello descritto in precedenza.
• Questa poltrona elevabile è studiata per essere azionata dall'utente. La poltrona è adatta
all’uso da parte di persone anziane e con una riduzione della funzionalità delle gambe.
• Utilizzare esclusivamente accessori e ricambi approvati da Vermeiren.
• Leggere tutte le informazioni tecniche di dettaglio e le limitazioni della poltrona elevabile
riportate nel capitolo 7.
• La garanzia del prodotto presuppone un uso e una manutenzione normali del medesimo,
come descritti in questo manuale. I danni al prodotto dovuti a uso improprio o manutenzione
carente causano la decadenza della garanzia.
3.2 Istruzioni generali di sicurezza
Rischio di lesioni e/o danni
Leggere e osservare le istruzioni contenute in questo manuale. In caso contrario, è possibile
ferirsi o danneggiare la poltrona elevabile.
Durante l’uso, tenere presenti le seguenti avvertenze generali:
• Accertarsi che la poltrona elevabile sia collocata su una superficie piana.
• Le superfici possono raggiungere la temperatura ambiente.
• Accertarsi che i cavi non vengano intrappolati.
• Non lasciare che i bambini usino la poltrona o giochino con essa, in quanto l’appoggio per le
gambe ripiegabile può causare lesioni.
• Non sedersi sullo schienale, sui braccioli o sull’appoggio per le gambe. Non gravare con il
proprio peso sull’appoggio per le gambe quando ci si siede sulla / alza dalla poltrona.
• Quando si reclinano lo schienale e/o l’appoggio per le gambe, accertarsi che sia disponibile
uno spazio sufficiente fra la poltrona e la parete o l’oggetto più vicino.
• Non spostare la poltrona elevabile
o quando si trova nella posizione abbassata.
o quando è collegata alla presa di corrente o è in uso.
• La poltrona elevabile è stata sottoposta a prove di compatibilità elettromagnetica ed è
conforme alla relativa norma. Le fonti di campi elettromagnetici possono tuttavia risentire
della presenza della poltrona. Se si verificano movimenti accidentali, scollegare il cavo di
alimentazione dalla rete elettrica.
3.3 Simboli presenti sulla poltrona elevabile
Sulla poltrona elevabile sono applicati i simboli contenuti nell’elenco che segue. I simboli sono
riportati nella norma ISO pertinente (ISO 7000, ISO 7001 e IEC 417).

3.4 Trasporto e magazzinaggio
3.4.1 Trasporto
Non tirare i cuscini dello schienale o dei braccioli per
spostare la poltrona elevabile, neppure per un breve tratto,
poiché ciò può causare lacerazioni della selleria o delle
cuciture.
Per spostare la poltrona elevabile, afferrare il suo telaio inferiore (fianco e
lato inferiore della poltrona). Se occorre sollevare da terra la poltrona, ad
esempio per caricarla su un veicolo, affidare l’operazione ad almeno in 2
persone.
Per agevolare il trasporto nei veicoli, è possibile smontare lo schienale
(vedere il § 5.3.2). Riporre i componenti separati nel bagagliaio o dietro il
sedile del passeggero.
Spostare la poltrona elevabile soltanto quando si trova nella posizione di seduta eretta. Quando
la poltrona si trova nella posizione elevata, le ruote sono bloccate e non è possibile spostarla.
3.4.2 Magazzinaggio
Rischio di danni
Avere cura di immagazzinare la poltrona elevabile in un luogo asciutto, per evitare la formazione
di muffa o danni alla selleria; vedere inoltre le informazioni tecniche di dettaglio riportate nel § 7.

Rischio di lesioni
• Leggere anzitutto il capitolo precedente per familiarizzarsi con l’uso previsto. NON utilizzare la
poltrona senza avere letto e compreso a fondo tutte le istruzioni.
• In caso di dubbi o domande, non esitare a rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore specializzato di zona,
al proprio fornitore di cure sanitarie o a un consulente tecnico per un aiuto.
Rischio di lesioni e/o danni
• Accertarsi che dita, indumenti, cinture, fibbie o gioielli non si impiglino nei componenti in
movimento durante il montaggio, l'uso o la regolazione.
4.1 Trasferimento alla o dalla poltrona elevabile
Rischio di lesioni o danni
• Se non si è in grado di effettuare il trasferimento in condizioni di sicurezza, richiedere
l’assistenza di un’altra persona.
• Non sedersi sull’appoggio per le gambe durante il trasferimento.
• Non tirare i braccioli per alzarsi dalla poltrona, ma utilizzare la funzione di ritorno alla posizione
in piedi.
Per sedersi sulla poltrona:
1. Portare la poltrona nella posizione di seduta più eretta e abbassare completamente
l’appoggio per le gambe (vedere il § 4.2).
2. Trasferirsi sulla poltrona.
3. Sedersi sul sedile con la parte inferiore della schiena contro lo schienale.
4. Regolare la poltrona su una posizione di seduta confortevole.
Per alzarsi dalla poltrona:
1. Portare la poltrona nella posizione di seduta più eretta e abbassare completamente
l’appoggio per le gambe (vedere il § 4.2).
2. Utilizzare la funzione di ritorno alla posizione in piedi (vedere il § 4.2). A questo punto la
poltrona viene sollevata leggermente in avanti per aiutare la persona seduta ad alzarsi in
piedi facilmente.
4.2 Regolazioni per il comfort
Per regolare la posizione di seduta sulla poltrona, tenere premuto il pulsante presente sull’unità
di comando fino a raggiungere la posizione desiderata.

5 Installazione e regolazioni

• Utilizzare soltanto le impostazioni descritte in questo manuale.
• Accertarsi che dita, indumenti, cinture, fibbie o gioielli non si impiglino nei componenti in
movimento durante il montaggio, l'uso o la regolazione.
5.1 Attrezzi
Per allestire la poltrona elevabile, non occorre alcun attrezzo.
5.2 Modalità di consegna
Disimballare il prodotto e verificare che sia completo. Devono essere presenti i seguenti articoli:
• Telaio con sedile, braccioli, appoggio per le gambe e telaio inferiore
• Schienale
• Rivestimento del poggiatesta
• Centralina di controllo
• A seconda della versione:
o Ontario I: 2 ruote + 2 piedini di messa in bolla (opzione: 4 piedini di messa in bolla)
o Ontario II: 4 ruote (opzione: 2 ruote + 2 piedini di messa in bolla)
• Manuale
Verificare che il prodotto non presenti danni dovuti al trasporto. Se si rilevano danni dopo la
consegna, rivolgersi al trasportatore.
5.3 Montaggio della poltrona elevabile
La poltrona elevabile viene consegnata completamente montata, ad eccezione dello schienale e
delle ruote.
5.3.1 Montaggio dello schienale
1. Collocare lo schienale con i due manicotti (1) sulle piastre (2) montate sul
sedile.
2. Premere sul lato superiore dello schienale fino a quando non si blocca con
un clic nella posizione corretta.
3. Accertarsi che lo schienale sia fissato saldamente tirandolo di nuovo
leggermente verso l’alto. Se lo schienale si stacca, ripetere la procedura
indicata sopra.
4. Fissare la selleria allentata dello schienale al telaio inferiore utilizzando le strisce di velcro.
5.3.2 Rimozione dello schienale
1. Allentare la selleria dello schienale staccando le strisce di
velcro dal telaio inferiore.
2. Utilizzare un cacciavite a punta piatta o un altro attrezzo per
tirare verso l’alto il fermaglio di bloccaggio. Tirare allo stesso
tempo lo schienale verso l’alto, fino a quando le due piastre
di collegamento non vengono rilasciate.
3. Sollevare lo schienale e sfilarlo dal telaio inferiore.

5.3.3 Montaggio delle ruote
La poltrona elevabile viene fornita con un numero di ruote che dipende dalla
versione e dall’opzione selezionate. Per fissare le ruote al loro posto,
utilizzare i dadi (3) forniti alla consegna.

6 Manutenzione
Una cura regolare garantisce che la poltrona elevabile rimanga in perfette condizioni di
funzionamento. Per il manuale di manutenzione, fare riferimento al sito Web di Vermeiren
all’indirizzo www.vermeiren.com.
Rischio di lesioni e danni
Riparazioni e sostituzioni devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da personale con un’opportuna
formazione e utilizzando unicamente ricambi originali Vermeiren.
L’ultima pagina di questo manuale contiene un modulo di registrazione che consente ai
rivenditori specializzati di registrare ogni intervento di assistenza.
La frequenza dell'assistenza dipende dalla frequenza e dall’intensità dell’uso. Concordare con il
proprio rivenditore un calendario comune per le attività di ispezione / manutenzione / riparazione.
Prima di ciascun utilizzo
Verificare i seguenti punti:
• Tutti i componenti: presenti, puliti e senza danni o usura.
• Ruote e schienale: ben fissati.
• Condizioni generali: assenza di deformazioni, instabilità, punti deboli o raccordi allentati.

6.1 Istruzioni per la manutenzione
6.1.1 Pulizia
Rischio di danni
• Non pulire la seggiola con pulitori a vapore.
• Non immergere la selleria.
È possibile pulire la selleria servendosi di un panno inumidito con acqua tiepida. Rimuovere lo
sporco ostinato utilizzando un detergente delicato disponibile in commercio. Non utilizzare per la
pulizia detergenti, spugne o spazzole dure.
6.2 Utilizzi successivi
Prima di ogni utilizzo successivo, fare disinfettare, ispezionare e sottoporre a manutenzione la
poltrona elevabile secondo le istruzioni riportate nel manuale di manutenzione.
6.3 Durata prevista
La poltrona elevabile ha una durata media prevista di 5 anni. Tale valore aumenta o diminuisce a
seconda della frequenza di utilizzo e di manutenzione.
6.4 Fine vita
A fine vita, occorre smaltire la seggiola conformemente alla legislazione ambientale locale. Il
modo migliore per farlo consiste nello smontare la seggiola per agevolare il trasporto dei
componenti riciclabili.

El sillón elevador Ontario proporciona una comodidad de asiento de primera clase y ayuda al
usuario a levantarse más fácilmente. El Ontario está disponible en 2 versiones:
• Ontario I: sillón elevador con un solo motor operando simultáneamente tanto el respaldo
como el reposapiernas.
• Ontario II: sillón elevador con motor dual, con el que se puede operar el respaldo y el

3.1 Uso previsto
Este párrafo describe brevemente el uso previsto del sillón elevador. También se incluyen
avisos pertinentes a las instrucciones en otros párrafos. De esta manera se pretende avisar al
usuario de un eventual mal uso del sillón elevador.
• El sillón elevador es apto para su uso en interiores.
• El sillón elevador está diseñado y fabricado exclusivamente para acomodar a una (1)
persona con un peso máximo de 150 kg. No está diseñado para transportar mercancías u
objetos, o para otros usos que no sean los descritos anteriormente.
• El sillón elevador está destinado a ser operado por el usuario. El sillón es apto para
personas mayores y personas con una función debilitada de las piernas.
• Utilizar sólo accesorios y piezas de repuesto aprobados por Vermeiren.
• Consultar todos los detalles técnicos y las limitaciones del sillón elevador en el capítulo 7.
• La garantía de este producto se basa en el uso y mantenimiento normales descritos en
este manual. La garantía se invalida si el producto sufre cualquier daño causado por un uso
indebido o falta de mantenimiento.
3.2 Instrucciones generales de seguridad
Riesgo de lesiones y daños
Lea y siga las instrucciones contenidas en este manual. De no seguirlas, puede acabar
lesionándose a sí mismo, o acabar rompiendo el sillón elevador.
Tener en cuenta las siguientes advertencias durante su utilización:
• Asegurarse de que el sillón elevador está colocado en una superficie nivelada.
• Las superficies del sillón pueden llegar a alcanzar las temperaturas del entorno.
• Asegurarse que no queda atrapado ningún cable.
• No permitir que los niños usen o jueguen con el sillón, ya que el reposapiernas plegable
podría ocasionar lesiones.
• No sentarse en el respaldo, reposabrazos o reposapiernas. No apoyarse excesivamente
sobre el reposapiernas al sentarse o levantarse del sillón.
• Al inclinar el respaldo o el reposapiernas, asegurarse de que hay suficiente espacio entre el
sillón y el muro u otros objetos.
• No mover el sillón elevador
o cuando está en la posición de tumbado.
o cuando está conectado a la toma de corriente o cuando está en funcionamiento.
• Se han realizado pruebas sobre la compatibilidad electromagnética del sillón elevador y
cumple con los estándares. Sin embargo, puede que su sillón influya en fuentes de campos
magnéticos. Si ocurriese algún movimiento inesperado, desenchufar el cable de
alimentación de la toma.
3.3 Símbolos presentes en el sillón elevador
Los símbolos de la siguiente lista son aplicables al sillón elevador. Los símbolos se encuentran
en la norma ISO pertinente (ISO 7000, ISO 7001 y IEC 417).

3.4 Transporte y almacenamiento
3.4.1 Transporte
No tirar del respaldo o de las almohadillas del
reposabrazos para desplazar el sillón elevador, incluso
aunque sea para una pequeña distancia, ya que podría
rasgar la tapicería o las costuras.
Sujetar el bastidor inferior del sillón elevador (lateral y parte inferior del
sillón) para moverlo. Si se tiene que levantar el sillón del suelo para, por
ejemplo, transportarlo en un vehículo, levantar el sillón con por lo menos
2 personas.
Para facilitar su transporte en un vehículo, se puede desmontar el
respaldo (véase §5.3.2). Almacenar las piezas sueltas en un
portaequipajes aparte o detrás del asiento del pasajero.
El sillón elevador sólo debe desplazarse cuando está en la posición de sentado erguida.
Cuando la silla está en la posición de elevado, las ruedas se bloquean y no se puede mover el
sillón.
3.4.2 Almacenamiento

Asegurarse de que el sillón elevador se almacena en un lugar seco para evitar el crecimiento
de moho o que se dañe la tapicería, véanse también los detalles técnicos en § 7.

• Leer antes los capítulos anteriores e informarse sobre el uso previsto. NO utilizar el sillón si
no se han leído detenidamente y entendido completamente todas las instrucciones.
• En caso de dudas, contacte con su distribuidor especializado local, proveedor de cuidados o
asesor técnico para recibir asesoramiento.
Riesgo de lesiones y daños
• Asegurarse de que dedos, ropa, cinturones, hebillas o joyas no queden atrapados por piezas
movibles durante su montaje, uso o ajuste.
4.1 Traslado hacia y fuera del sillón
Riesgo de lesiones o daños
• En caso de que no se pueda hacer el traslado de manera segura, pedir ayuda a alguien.
• No sentarse en el reposapiernas durante el traslado.
• No tirar de los reposabrazos para levantarse del sillón; utilizar la función de levantado.
Para sentarse en el sillón:
1. Colocar el sillón en la posición más erguida y bajar completamente el reposapiernas (véase
§4.2).
2. Trasladarse al sillón.
3. Sentarse en el asiento apoyando la zona lumbar contra el respaldo.
4. Ajustar el sillón a una posición de sentado cómoda.
Para levantarse del sillón:
1. Colocar el sillón en la posición más erguida y bajar completamente el reposapiernas (véase
§4.2).
2. Usar la función de levantado (véase §4.2). La silla se inclinará levemente hacia delante
para ayudarle a levantarse fácilmente.
4.2 Ajustes de comodidad
Para ajustar la posición de asiento del sillón, mantener pulsado el botón del mando hasta
conseguir la posición deseada.

5 Instalación y ajustes

• Sólo utilizar la configuración descrita en este manual.
• Asegurarse de que dedos, ropa, cinturones, hebillas o joyas no queden atrapados por
piezas movibles durante su montaje, uso o ajuste.
5.1 Herramientas
No se necesitan herramientas para montar el sillón.
5.2 Entrega
Desembalar el producto y verificar que la entrega está completa. Las siguientes piezas vienen
incluidas en la entrega:
• Bastidor con asiento, reposabrazos, reposapiernas y bastidor inferior
• Respaldo
• Funda del reposacabezas
• Mando
• Dependiendo de la versión:
o Ontario I: 2 ruedas + 2 niveladores (Opcional: 4 niveladores)
o Ontario II: 4 ruedas (Opcional: 2 ruedas + 2 niveladores)
• Manual
Compruebe que el producto no haya sufrido daños durante el transporte. Si detectase algún
defecto en el producto tras su entrega, contacte con el transportista.
5.3 Montaje del sillón elevador
El sillón elevador se entrega completamente montado a excepción del respaldo y las ruedas.
5.3.1 Montaje del respaldo
1. Colocar el respaldo con los dos manguitos (1) en las placas (2) montadas
en el asiento.
2. Empujar la parte superior del respaldo hacia abajo hasta oír un clic.
3. Asegurarse de que el respaldo está bien fijado tirando levemente hacia
arriba de él. Si se suelta el respaldo, repetir los pasos anteriores.
4. Sujetar la tapicería suelta del respaldo al bastidor inferior usando las tiras
de velcro.
5.3.2 Retirar el respaldo
1. Soltar la tapicería del respaldo tirando de las tiras de velcro
en el bastidor inferior.
2. Utilizar un destornillador plano u otra herramienta para tirar
del clip de seguridad hacia arriba. Al mismo tiempo, tirar
hacia arriba del respaldo hasta que se suelten las dos
placas de conexión.
3. Retirar el respaldo del bastidor inferior.
5.3.3 Montaje de las ruedas
El sillón elevador se entrega con un número de ruedas según la versión y
opción elegidas. Para fijar las ruedas, utilizar las tuercas (3) incluidas en la
entrega.

6 Mantenimiento
Un mantenimiento regular asegura que el sillón elevador permanezca en perfecto estado.

Riesgo de lesiones y daños
Cualquier reparación o cambios sólo pueden llevarse a cabo por personal debidamente
cualificado y sólo pueden utilizarse piezas de recambio Vermeiren originales.
La última página de este manual contiene un formulario de registro para que el distribuidor
especializado pueda registrar cada mantenimiento.
La frecuencia de los mantenimientos depende de la frecuencia e intensidad de uso. Póngase
en contacto con su distribuidor para acordar un horario común para realizar inspecciones,
mantenimientos y reparaciones.
Antes de cada uso
Inspeccionar los siguientes aspectos:
• Todas las piezas: Limpias, presentes y sin daños o desgastes.
• Ruedas, respaldo: Bien asegurados.
• Condición general: Sin deformaciones, inestabilidad, debilidad o conexiones sueltas.
Ponerse en contacto con el distribuidor especializado para posibles reparaciones o sustitución
de piezas.
6.1 Instrucciones de mantenimiento
6.1.1 Limpieza
Riesgo de daños
• No utilizar nunca una limpiadora de vapor para limpiar el sillón.
• No remojar la tapicería.
Se puede limpiar la tapicería usando un paño humedecido con agua caliente. Utilizar un
detergente comercial suave para retirar suciedad persistente. No utilizar productos de limpieza
abrasivos, ni un cepillo duro para limpiarla.
6.2 Reutilizar
Antes de reutilizar el sillón elevador de ruedas, desinfectarlo, inspeccionarlo y hacer que pase
por un mantenimiento según las instrucciones en el manual de mantenimiento.
6.3 Vida útil prevista
La vida útil media del sillón elevador es de 5 años. La vida útil del sillón aumentará o disminuirá
dependiendo de la frecuencia de uso y el mantenimiento.
6.4 Fin de vida útil
Al final de la vida útil, deberá desechar el sillón siguiendo las leyes medioambientales de su
localidad. Para transportar materiales reciclables del sillón de manera más cómoda, se
recomienda que se desmonte primero.

3.1 Przeznaczenie

• Fotel geriatryczny jest przeznaczony do użytku w pomieszczeniach.
• Fotel geriatryczny jest zaprojektowany i produkowany tak, aby mogła w nim siedzieć
wyłącznie jedna (1) osoba ważąca maksymalnie 150 kg. Nie jest przeznaczony do innego

4 Korzystanie z fotela geriatrycznego

1. Umieścić oparcie z dwiema prowadnicami (1) na płytach (2) zamontowanych
na siedzisku.
2. Nacisnąć na górną stronę oparcia, aż wskoczy na miejsce.
3. Lekko pociągnąć w górę za oparcie, aby się upewnić, że jest prawidłowo
zamocowane. Jeśli oparcie da się zdjąć, powtórzyć powyższe kroki.
4. Przymocować luźną część tapicerki do ramy dolnej za pomocą pasków z
rzepami.
5.3.2 Demontaż oparcia
1. Odczepić tapicerkę oparcia, ściągając paski z rzepami z
ramy dolnej.
2. Za pomocą płaskiego śrubokręta lub innego narzędzia

3.1 Určené použití
V tomto odstavci je uveden stručný popis zamýšleného použití tohoto zvedacího křesla. Dále jsou
k pokynům v dalších odstavcích přidána příslušná varování. Tímto způsobem chceme upozornit
na případné chybné použití, k němuž může dojít.
• Toto zvedací křeslo je určeno pro vnitřní použití.
• Toto zvedací křeslo je konstruováno a vyrobeno výhradně k sezení jedné (1) osoby o max.
hmotnosti 150 kg. Není konstruováno pro jakýkoli jiný účel, než který je popsán výše.
• Toto zvedací křeslo je určeno k obsluze uživatelem. Křeslo je vhodné pro seniory a osoby
s oslabenou funkcí nohou.
• Používejte pouze příslušenství a náhradní díly schválené společností Vermeiren.
• Přečtěte si všechny technické detaily a omezení tohoto zvedacího křesla v kapitole 7.
• Záruka na tento výrobek je založena na běžném použití a údržbě, jak je to popsáno v tomto
návodu. V případě poškození výrobku způsobeného nesprávným použitím či absencí údržby

3.2 Obecné bezpečnostní pokyny
Riziko zranění anebo poškození
Přečtěte si pokyny v tomto návodu a postupujte podle nich. Jinak může dojít k vašemu zranění
nebo k poškození zvedacího křesla.
Při použití mějte na paměti následující obecná upozornění:
• Ověřte, že je zvedací křeslo umístěno na rovné podlaze.
• Povrchy mohou přijímat teploty okolí.
• Ověřte, že nemůže dojít ke skřípnutí kabelů.
• Nedovolte dětem používat křeslo nebo si s ním hrát, protože sklopná nožní opěrka může
způsobit zranění.
• Nesedejte si na opěradlo, loketní opěrku ani nožní opěrku. Při usedání do křesla nebo jeho
opouštění se příliš neopírejte o nožní opěrku.
• Při naklánění opěradla anebo nožní opěrky ověřte, že je dostatečný prostor mezi křeslem a
zdí či jiným předmětem.
• Zvedacím křeslem nehýbejte:
o když je zvedací křeslo v poloze pro ležení;

3.4 Přeprava a uložení
3.4.1 Přeprava
Pro posun zvedacího křesla ani na malou vzdálenost
netahejte za polštáře opěradla či loketních opěrek, jinak
může dojít k roztržení čalounění nebo prošívání.
Pro posun zvedacího křesla uchopte jeho dolní rám (boční a spodní část
křesla). Je-li potřeba křeslo zvednout ze země, např. pro jeho přepravu
ve vozidle, musejí křeslo zvedat alespoň 2 osoby.
Pro snazší přepravu ve vozidle je možné demontovat opěradlo (viz odst.
5.3.2). Uložte jednotlivé součásti do odděleného zavazadlového prostoru
nebo za sedadlo spolujezdce.
Zvedací křeslo se smí posouvat jen v případě, že je ve vzpřímené poloze sezení. Je-li křeslo
v poloze zvednutí, jsou kolečka zabrzděna a křeslem nelze pohybovat.
3.4.2 Skladování

Zajistěte, aby bylo zvedací křeslo skladováno v suchu, aby nemohlo dojít k výskytu plísní a

4 Použití zvedacího křesla
Riziko zranění
• Nejprve si přečtěte předchozí kapitoly a seznamte se se zamýšleným použitím. Křeslo NIKDY
nepoužívejte, dokud si nepřečtete a plně neporozumíte všem pokynům.
• V případě pochybností či dotazů bez obav požádejte svého místního odborného prodejce,
poskytovatele péče nebo technického poradce o pomoc.
Riziko zranění anebo poškození
• Zajistěte, aby při montáži, použití nebo seřizování nedošlo k zachycení prstů, oděvů, pásků,
přezek či šperků v pohyblivých částech.
4.1 Nasednutí do křesla a vysednutí z něj
Riziko zranění či poškození
• Nemůžete-li přesun provést bezpečně, požádejte někoho o asistenci.
• Během přenosu neseďte na nožní opěrce.
• Chcete-li se zvednout z křesla, netahejte za loketní opěrky; použijte funkci zvednutí.
Usednutí do křesla:
1. Uveďte křeslo do nejvíce vzpřímené polohy sezení a plně snižte nožní opěrku (viz odst. 4.2).
2. Přesuňte se na křeslo.
3. Sedněte si na sedadlo a dolní část zad opřete o opěradlo.
4. Seřiďte křeslo do pohodlné polohu sezení.
Opuštění křesla:
1. Uveďte křeslo do nejvíce vzpřímené polohy sezení a plně snižte nožní opěrku (viz odst. 4.2).
2. Použijte funkci zvednutí (viz odst. 4.2). Křeslo je nyní mírně zvednuto dopředu k usnadnění
vašeho stání.

5 Instalace a seřízení
Riziko zranění či poškození
• Používejte pouze nastavení popsaná v tomto návodu.
• Zajistěte, aby při montáži, použití nebo seřizování nedošlo k zachycení prstů, oděvů, pásků,
přezek či šperků v pohyblivých částech.
5.1 Nástroje
K nastavení zvedacího křesla nejsou potřeba žádné nástroje.
5.2 Způsob dodání
Vybalte výrobek a ověřte, zda jde o kompletní dodávku. Balení by mělo obsahovat následující
položky:
• Rám se sedadlem, loketní opěrky, nožní opěrku a dolní rám
• Opěradlo
• Potah opěrky hlavy
• Ovladač
• V závislosti na verzi:
o Ontario I: 2 kolečka + 2 vodorovná seřízení (volitelné: 4 vodorovná seřízení)
o Ontario II: 4 kolečka (volitelné: 2 kolečka + 2 vodorovná seřízení)
• Návod
Ověřte, zda výrobek nebyl poškozen přepravou. Zjistíte-li po dodání jakékoli škody, obraťte se na
dopravce.
5.3 Montáž zvedacího křesla
Zvedací křeslo se dodává plně sestavené s výjimkou opěradla a koleček.
5.3.1 Montáž opěradla
1. Umístěte opěradlo dvěma manžetami (1) na destičky (2) upevněné
k sedadlu.
2. Tlačte na horní stranu opěradla, dokud nedojde k jeho zaaretování.
3. Ověřte řádné zajištění opěradla jeho opětovným povytažením nahoru.
Dojde-li k uvolnění opěradla, zopakujte výše uvedené kroky.
4. Volné čalounění opěradla přichyťte k dolnímu rámu pomocí pásků se
suchým zipem.
5.3.2 Demontáž opěradla
1. Uvolněte čalounění opěradla odtržením pásků se suchým
zipem od dolního rámu.
2. Plochým šroubovákem či jiným nástrojem vytáhněte aretační
klip nahoru. Zároveň s tím tahejte opěradlo nahoru, dokud se
neuvolní obě spojovací destičky.
3. Vytáhněte opěradlo z dolního rámu.
5.3.3 Montáž koleček
Zvedací křeslo se dodává s několika kolečky v závislosti na vybrané verzi a
volbě. K upevnění koleček na místo slouží matice (3), které jsou součástí
dodávky.

6 Údržba
Pravidelná péče zajistí, že bude zvedací křeslo udržováno v dokonale funkčním stavu.

Riziko zranění a poškození
Opravy a výměny smějí provádět pouze vyškolené osoby. Přitom je třeba používat pouze
originální náhradní díly společnosti Vermeiren.
Poslední stránka tohoto návodu obsahuje registrační formulář pro odborného prodejce,
který zapíše každý servis.
Servisní intervaly závisejí na intenzitě a frekvenci používání. Požádejte svého prodejce o
společnou dohodu na rozvrhu kontrol/údržby/servisu/oprav.
Před každým použitím
Zkontrolujte následující body:
• Všechny části: Čisté, přítomné a nepoškozené či neopotřebované.
• Kolečka, opěradlo: Dobré zajištění.
• Celkový stav: Žádná deformace, nestabilita, zeslabení nebo uvolněné spoje.
Pro případné opravy či výměny částí se obraťte na svého odborného prodejce.
6.1 Pokyny pro údržbu/servis
6.1.1 Čištění
Riziko poškození
• K čištění křesla nikdy nepoužívejte parní čistič.
• Čalounění nenamáčejte.
Čalounění lze čistit textilií navlhčenou v teplé vodě. K odstranění odolnějších nečistot použijte
mírný komerční detergent. K čištění nepoužívejte abrazivní čisticí prostředky, houbičku ani tvrdý
kartáč.
6.2 Znovupoužití výrobku
Před každým dalším použitím nechte zvedací křeslo dezinfikovat, zkontrolovat a provést servis
podle pokynů v návodu k údržbě.
6.3 Životnost výrobku
Průměrná životnost tohoto zvedacího křesla je 5 let. V závislosti na četnosti použití a údržbě se
životnost tohoto křesla prodlouží nebo zkrátí.
6.4 Likvidace výrobku
Po skončení životnosti musí být křeslo zlikvidováno podle místní legislativy pro životní prostředí.
Nejlepším způsobem likvidace je rozebrání křesla pro usnadnění přepravy recyklovatelných
součástí.
